What a dress! Did I miss the stories about which famous women wore that? I know Princess Diana did not wear that in public but it would have been great on her too.
You are correct CGee it would have been fabulous on her. I honestly don’t remember who the dress was lent to. It wasn’t lent out too often because it was very recognizable, and celebs didn’t was to be photographed in the same dress. Pity is I have no idea where that dress is today…..I was wrong when I said it was $15,000. I looked it up in the Look Book and it was $20,000…..but for $5000 who’s quibbling….LOL
Did you art direct your photo shoots?
In a way yes….I was not on the shoots. I worked with the photographer before the shoot with my assistant Connie Francis who was responsible, and was at the session with two assistants to help with the clothes and the models. I selected the models and what each was to wear. The pages were laid out first in a mock book with polaroids so we already new what pictures and models would be facing each other. This helped the photographer to plan the pictures….whether it was a single, double or triple model shot, and how to stage them. When we got the proofs the three of us would sit and decide which pictures we liked best.There was a lot of planing before hand.

Honestly Cathy I did nothing so I’m sure it was an Angel who heard everyone’s plea and easily brought them back
I know what happened! I removed the photos from my library and the automatically got deleted from the post. When I put them back into the library they showed back up. The same thing happened on my post of the Liquid necklace.
