“THE BLACK JACKET”

………………………I know, we say it every season……….how many black jackets can I own?……………….but how could I not do this jacket in BLACK…..It’s just too perfect….The ultimate black jacket. The style, the length, and the fabric were meant to be done in black….It is all woman…..There is nothing masculine about this beautifully sculptured four button jacket……Wear it casual with a tee shirt or turtleneck and jeans, or dress it way up with the MATCHING PENCIL SKIRT, long WK skirt, dress pants or even your emb. tulle skirts and the sequin pants…My LACE and POINT D’ESPRIT tights, A440949, will finish the look perfectly, and remember they make everyone’s legs look good! The perfect camouflage….There is a new collarless satin ribbon stripe woven blouse, shown above, that will work for every occasion.  More about that later…..This jacket even has the look in my mind, with its’ four buttons, of a jaunty riding jacket……I have accessoried the jacket above with my favorite BLACK JET GLITTERATI NECKLACES & EARRING and the ANNIVERSARY PENDANT that has now returned!……..This may be the last black blazer you will ever buy…………or not…………..LOL………………..enjoy………………….much Love……………….Louis

I will be making a trip to Europe in late Fall. Clearly my suitcase as usual will be almost all Linea. My question: Are your new slim black pants same fabric as the black blazer? Thanks

Well apparently I need another black blazer, Louis!! I love the cut on this one, and the trench coat fabric is my favorite.

Quick question – I own your original WK sleeveless turtleneck. Is this the same, or is it shorter than the original?

Enjay i don’t have that one anymore….maybe if you search it it may come up with the measurements or else lay yours flat on the bed and measure from the shoulder where the TM and should seam meet, ans I’ll measure mine to compare

And I can absolutely see the blazer as another option to wear with the embroidered skirt! I have my black WK waist whittling sweater that goes perfectly with that skirt, but I did wear it to a party in winter where I thought I would need the warmth, but it was HOT inside the ballroom so I think this blazer is another lovely option.

Okay, Louis the black jacket with that new, very intriguing blouse is a wow! I only tend to wear a blazer for a more dressy occasion, but I am taking a double look at the jacket, turtleneck and jeans combination. That is definitely something I could do more often and so the blazer would get more wear. I always tend to grab a whisper knit and don’t hink about blazers. I do so love your feminine blouses, by the way!

Dear Karen, in Europe, especially Paris, a blazer, a sweater or shirt and jeans is their uniform…They forgo coats for the blazer and just add scarves until it gets bitter cold, and even then they will just put a coat over the blazer……Is this something you might make a uniform for yourself? You will always look put together in a well tailored jacket.
