Louis, Thank you for the wonderful videos – so helpful!
Is the jewelry sold out already? I ordered the caramel pieces and then went back for the bisque and plum. That order disappeared and the items are no longer available. I’m just glad I was able to advance order the caramel because I’m traveling with those pieces the end of September.
Again – Many thanks. I appreciate all you do. Jennifer did as great job today, as usual!

Hi Louis, Will the long-sleeved WK turtleneck come in bisque in October? I’m loving everything you’ve shown us, including the necklaces and bracelets that coordinate with the bisque apparel. Thank you for the great designs and the terrific videos!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Lily….but….there will be another terrific LS WK sweater in Bisque coming in Nov. It will definitely take the place of a TN

  3. Cela

Wish I had been there for THOSE conversations. Louis do you think she had a contribution to what Vogue is today?

  4. Lisa Ann

    Thank you so much, Louis!

  5. queendiva

Louis- you have outdone yourself on the upcoming collection! I plan to purchase multiples. I love that these gorgeous clothes go equally well casual, business or dressier. And the jewelry! Who but you would provide items in multiple colors AND styles that all coordinate? No one else!
Thank you again for continuing as my personal designer. I am spoiled for most anyone else.

My favorite quote, “Keep the eye moving !” , Diana Vreeland, editor of Vogue. And that’s what your jewelry does, Louis. It’s gorgeous and once again, have to decide. The bisque, for sure. And the caramel fez would be gorgeous with so many things! What a great, inspiring show, and you are right, it just gets better. Do
You remember Diana? A legend, right?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Of course I remember Diana…..anyone living when she was around remembers her! I had a few very interesting conversations with her. She was an encyclopedia on fashion….and had such a way of telling stories and imparting her incredible knowledge. Just the way she looked, spoke and moved was a treat….All she had to do was stand there. She looked incredible in a black TN and pants with the most incredible jewelry and wrists full of bangles..and then she would wear the most outlandish extravagant outfits to events…After Vogue, where she was unceremoniously released, she became the curator of the fashion department of the MET….She made it the event of the year and raised millions for the museum It is still going strong today, but it can’t compare to the glamorous event it was. Some will say it’s a progression to modern times….Well rock stars, and movie stars who have zero taste can’t come near what it was…I will never forget her at the Met Gala many moons ago, when they were celebrating YSL. She arrived on his arm with her slicked back ink black hair, her white powered face, her very rouged cheeks and RED LIPS and NAILS, wearing the Saint Laurent brocade Pagoda jacket with these incredible shoulders that winged out and curled like a pagoda…..A site to be remembered!!!!…….Who came first Diana or Iris…….IMHO, Diana of course, but Iris was and is an apt student.

Louis, off to a good start? How about a standing ovation, hit-it-out-of-the-park start! Already, this is a winning season. I’m getting one of just about everything in both clothing and jewelry. Your videos make a difference. I’ll be ready when it’s time to get out, travel and celebrate.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace….I think YOU will be the one to hit it out of the park. I am a firm believer that the woman makes the clothes….or else they are just pretty things on a hanger.

  8. Marta

I told myself breath, because all of your fall designs are breathtaking. You are a true artist.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Marta….love your name…..I had a very good friend in High School names Marta…..the only Marta I ever knew…..I sometimes wonder how some of my old friends are doing. I used to see them at High School reunions but I skipped the 50th and now it’s 20 years since I was at the last one!!!

  9. Carol

Louis, you had me at hello! You are right when you say the jewelry is getting better and better! I want it all, of course, but I am going to have to be judicious. The plum pieces are ALL no brainers. I keep thinking how much those pieces would cost if they were real semi-precious gemstones, which is what they look like. I want all of the Arte Moderne necklaces, too.

I’m sure I’ll have them all before the season is over.

And whatever else you have up your sleeve!

    So excited to get these,
    Carol

  10. Sharon Anderson

Hello Louis, I am really excited because I already have all the skirts so I can buy more sweater sets and especially new jewelry to match. I can’t wait making my list and checking it twice. Thanks again for those videos they are really helpful.

  11. Melissa W

Thanks Louis. I figured but wanted to check. Have a great Sunday!

  12. Melissa W

I don’t think I have ever had such a hard time narrowing down my wishlist. I truly want everything!

Since I got the plum jacket, the plum jewelry pieces are a must. Love the Fez under the jacket and the long pendant will look great with the cardigan. And I need those bracelets.

The caramel is so rich. I have your caramel blazer from last year and plan to get the cardi so probably should get one of the caramel necklaces too. But which would be best? Hmmm. I assume it’ll work with a variety of the caramel, tobacco, umber, and espresso pieces you’ve brought to us in the past?

And I love the bisque/grey pieces too. Am thinking of getting the bisque tank to wear with the grey cardi (and of course I can wear the grey cardigan with a variety of color tanks). Will the bisque necklace work with alabaster pieces too?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Melissa….there are so many shades in the Bisque jewelry that it will all blend

  13. Joanne C

Louis, thank you again for your videos. I hope you continue them especially to show your jewelry. I already purchased bisque suit etc. After seeing your videos, I am going to purchase the bisque jewelry to wear with bisque clothing, but also some previous Linea gray clothing from previous seasons. I can’t wait to see the two upcoming blazers you have a planned.

  14. Shay

Like these jewelry pieces? I am over the moon about them!!! The Fez Necklace really does look straight out of the Met collection, and I love how you can make a piece of jewelry look modern yet antique at the same time. It’s a real gift. I am pretty much settled on the bisque Fez and Triple Strand necklaces to go with my new grey and bisque pieces I have ordered. But when you put the Art Modern Necklace on the form with the plum pieces, I started wondering about how the plum turtleneck and necklace would go with the port blazer I have of yours? Would they blend or offend? Thank you so much for the videos; they have paired beautifully with these lazy summer mornings and a big cup of coffee.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shay….I don’t have any Port pieces left to compare. Maybe some of the Ladies who have Port can advise.

So happy to see the new whisper knit pieces for Fall.
Will a long sleeve whisper knit turtleneck be included in your collect as well?

Louis, thank you so much for doing these videos! They are so informative and thorough and so many lingering close-ups!! It’s so lovely to have you describe everything to us too. It’s all very much appreciated. This Fall selection is just so very lovely and I really do want everything this time! The jewelry is so pretty. I am thinking of getting the chocolate grecian necklace to mix with the caramel bracelets. Off to ponder and make my list! Have a wonderful Sunday and hugs to you!
