“THE CARAMEL SPLIT COLLAR SWEATER CON’T”

…………………..I think it’s important to know why I consider a color a “KEY COLOR”……….When a color is as versatile as the Caramel is, and works easily in your wardrobe with many things, and coordinates to many of the new Linea pieces…..it becomes a “key” piece……As you can see above…..I have mixed the Caramel Split Collar sweater with many things……both NEW and VINTAGE Linea pieces. I’m sure many of you own some, if not all of the pieces above. Many of you have already made an investment in the Caramel color in certain styles…..This sweater will finish any look you pull together….You must experiment mixing colors!!!! How many of you would think to mix the Caramel with the PLUM! Add the new Arte Moderne pendant in the Plum [coming soon!], and voila…..simple elegance……It’s all about mixing your Fall colors…..it’s a cornucopia of color!………………….enjoy………………,……much Love……………………….Louis

Oh Louis…how sad! I started purchasing your clothes about a year and a half ago…I have the caramel trench, pants, a few tops…but that boucle jacket knocked my socks off!

I guess I will be sewing after all…..

    my great loss 🙁

Thank you for your beautiful designs and not leaving the plus sizes out!

Wow, Louis, I own all the pieces you chose to pair with the sweater! I love that gorgeous vintage tweed blazer. And mine looks as perfect as the day I got it. A tribute to the timelessness and quality of your clothes. I’ll be buying this sweater in the caramel and black. (Maybe doubles!)

The boucle jacket (in the mixed olives/taupes) caught my breath when I saw it…this jacket has been in my ‘minds’ eye’ for years and I was hoping to make it myself..I have the fabric (not as gorgeous as yours) but have not had the time to invest in the cutting/sewing/finishing.

It is perfect…..I will purchase yours instead as I know it will far exceed what I can make.

Thank you, Louis…you’ve fulfilled a dream!

Dear Susan, if I am understanding you….you would like to purchase the tweed jacket? Unfortunately that jacket is vintage and no longer avail. It is a perfect combination, and I want the ladies to see how they can mix the old with the new.
