Love watching you two! Such fun. LOL at your snake stories. Yikes! Being in FL, I have a few snake stories too.

Love this blouse. I ordered the beautiful pink. I have to agree with you, the black satin tank is a must have. I have it in loden too, missed out on the buttercream in my size.

I also ordered the lurex WK in all three colors. And the wrap top in white. Since I’m smaller chested I wanted to see how it worked for me before I get the black.

I am so disappointed about the polo WK! I had been checking throughout the day to try and catch it when it was posted. When I checked at 1am last night, there were no XXS in any color. I was hoping it was a mistake and that it just wasn’t loaded into the system yet. But to be safe I ordered the XS. Then when I checked this morning, there weren’t any XS either! I know the smaller sizes always sell out first, but did they order a smaller quantity than usual or did every XXS person order them at once?? I’m not expecting you to answer that, I just was a little surprised. I’m hoping that in this style, going up a size won’t be an issue.

Anyway, thanks as always for the videos. You are one of a kind! We are lucky to have you as our designer. 😊

Dear Melissa…..I’m as surprised as you about no more xxs in the Polo. I was supposed to order the xxs navy polo for Lou to go with the navy blazer he bought for his daughter Suzi. I was up at 5am and saw they were all gone. I e-mailed Rowena to find out if they were all loaded or if they were short shipped? I still haven’t told Lou! I’m waiting for Rowena’s answer…..One more snake story….One summer morning many years ago, I heard a shriek coming from the kitchen. Teresa, my house keeper was in the kitchen and screamed. Jac and I went running. She said there was a snake in the hall way between the kitchen and the dining room, and sure enough there it was a three foot long BLACK SNAKE [I didn’t measure it I’m only guessing….LOL] It took all of my courage to put the kitchen garbage can over it. I called Franco to come right away, and the three of us, Jac, Teresa and I sat in the kitchen looking at the garbage can waiting for Franco’s arrival. He came in about 15 minutes, a very long 15 minutes, removed the garbage can, picked it up, put it back in the can and took it away. I told Franco to take the thing far, far, far away so it didn’t come slithering back into the house!!!!! We couldn’t figure out how it got into the house which bothered me for weeks! Thank the Lord I haven’t seen another since, but Franco, who is a gardener and should know, told me they are around!

I hope you are able to somehow get the navy for Lou. A lot of the ladies on the Q forum are expressing their disappointment. It’s not just the smaller sizes selling out.

What a snake story! Thankfully we have never had one in our house. *knock on wood* Knowing how I freak out if a palmetto bug or big spider makes it’s way into the house, I can imagine the reaction you all had to a snake in the house.

We have the black snakes here too. They are supposedly good at keeping the bad snakes and rodents and such away. I’ve seen them while doing yard work and I’ll jump a little, but when they get on the patio in our screen enclosure, that’s too close for comfort and I’ll have to chase it out the screen door with a broom.
We’ve had a few colorful ones too that I don’t think were poisonous but I didn’t get close enough to find out LOL

Love your black snake story Louis! I spent many years living in the countryside of Tennessee (on a commune) and Black snakes were around a lot. They are very benign and make wonderful garden protectors. We also had Copperheads and Rattlesnakes. Altho there were at times over a thousand people in those Oak forests, no one got bitten by a snake. They fear us way more than we fear them.

As Carol said above this fall/winter collection has been incredible — I think the best in a long time. I can put together very fashionable coordinating outfits in classic colors with some fun accents and lovely jewelry. It have been my on stop shop for these gorgeous clothes. I have been buying for years but 2020 has been special.

Dear Martha….when I’m allowed to do larger groups it’s much easier to design complete coordinating collections. With the first BD being the WK cardigan I was allowed to add all of the coordinating pieces in WK making it a full group. I can’t recall when I had so many jackets in one season and sweaters, blouses, pants and skirts to work with them…..so there was a lot to work with putting outfits together….The clothes and the jewelry that goes so beautifully with them all added up to something , I agree, is something special…..Now the addition of the Holiday group makes for a complete wardrobe.

Louis, Julia on in the kitchen with David appears to be wearing your mulberry cheetah print blouse right now! Love the video. It always gives me great ideas about what I need to round out my wardrobe

  4. Jackie

Oops. I just left a message for you that is from Anonymous, Forgot to sign – from JACKIE!

I have three Jac’s garden blouses, so when I read that this blouse was similar, I placed my order Oct 30 together with a v neck sequin top. As of today, the Q’s, message of “preparing your order” still stands. What the….?
I am a HUGE fan of the pebble crepe fabric, but I will say, I love the fabric of Jac’s blouse and the new snake print equally as well. And the silhouette is one of the most flattering I have in my wardrobe.

I was hesitating on the python, but seeing it with the pink blazer sealed the deal for me. I love the pink blazer and can’t wait to wear it. Of course the pink polo is a must (all the polos are a must) and the suede pants are some of my very favorites. I have all the colors of the slim leg pant. They never fail to get compliments. You have put together a truly remarkable collection for this fall/winter. Thank you for making designer fashion affordable–and FUN!

Until this video, I was positive I wouldn’t get this piece because I am terrified of snakes and have stayed away from snake prints, snake skin accessories (except for a pair of gorgeous shoes) and any snake jewelry. After watching, I have ordered both colors. Just beautiful!
