………………………Feb. 2002…..was the beginning of a new year……..Most of the group definitely had a preppy slant. The main colors were red, white, navy and chambray blue. There were also Zebra and Leopard print tunic shirts with fancy borders, and reversal silk tanks……….The blazer at the top was a stretch cotton banded in contrast colors and a beautifully emb. crest. Color block Silk CDC tunics were part of the group. A striped short sleeve sweater and a V-neck tunic with contrast borders, and stripe cotton knit tunics sweaters were all part of the group.. A beautiful cardigan with gold buttons and a gold lurex stripe also has a cable bordering the placket. A Silk CDC tank with contrast piping worked under the blazer the cardigan and all of the shirts. The floral silk shirt and the silk stripe shirt added additional patternĀ  to the group……At the bottom left is the first SUEDE JACKET WITH KNIT RIB TRIMS. There were also knit pants and a long straight skirt as part of this group……Remember….these clothes are 20 years old!

Wow…..they are selling 20 year old things! I bet it looks like new…..you will have to tell us what it looked like. It’s 100% cotton so I hope after all of this time and washings the red still looks vibrant.

I received the sweater, it is very nice. If I had ordered it from Q, I’d exchange it for a smaller size. The color is very nice, like new. Just ran very large. I am wondering, should I wash it in hot water and hope it shrinks, or shall I take it to the cleaners and have it blocked (or do they do that to cotton) I will wear it as an outside sweater, as I like it. I have lots on Navy WK that will go, and I have gold boots.

I wouldn’t try to shrink it in Hot water. The cotton may shrink, but the lurex won’t which may cause problems. After 20, years it may have stretched. You don’t know if the previous owner had it hanging.

I have the zebra in tobacco with red trim and the leopard with turquoise trim. Who knows why I don’t have the matching tanks, because they look like something I should have bought! I’m a walking Linea museum, it appears. I don’t have every Linea silk blouse I’ve owned, but these were and are real keepers.

Oh, how I wish this collection was coming our way in February! Especially that suede jacket.
