Will those fabulous earrings be coming too? 🙂

I was so happy to check the blog this morning (as the snow is falling in Colorado) and find this summery sweater! I purchased the new tan/peach sweater and the matching taupe boho skirt (love neutrals) and then went back for the mint/aqua. I’m looking forward to getting the white boho skirt when it’s available, as well.

Louis, I love all your Linea clothes and was so thrilled to find them at QVC. I’m tall (5’9″) and appreciate your styling that doesn’t favor petite women, as most of the designers on QVC do (there…I said it!). I appreciate the way you style your clothing, which helps me think through a seasonal/traveling wardrobe with all the accessories–you make it easy. I also have many, many Anne Klein jackets/suits still in my closet that you designed years ago–they are timeless, classic and still gorgeous. Thanks for all you do in helping us look good!

Dear Grace…..I am very happy, as a tall woman, you find my clothes suit you. I really do try to make clothes for everyone, knowing that not everything I design will be for everyone….it’s like walking a tight rope…..trust me it was much easier designing very expensive clothes that sometimes went o a size 12……There was a lot less to consider.

I imagine that wide size range of XXS to 3X makes it quite a challenge to make everyone happy. But, if the feedback is an indicator, you are hitting it out of the park!

I’ve also noticed in looking at photos on the blog that when Jac travels, she is seen in mostly black & white, which is so elegant. I assume that’s deliberate to make it easy to pack. I think I will do the same–I share the same coloring as Jac–and I really want to simplify when I travel. Less is more;) Is it possible for you to recommend a grouping of travel basics from your Linea line? Many thanks.

Jac always packs in black and white, but that is easy for her because that is what her closet looks like! When she wears a color she borrows one of my samples. After modeling for many years and putting on so MANY clothes and having hairdressers torture your hair and having to wash your face 5 to 6 times a day ans more…. and having different make up artists reapply a full face for each different show……in real life most models like to keep it VERY simple.

    Hi Louis,

You are showing one of the tie dye sweaters with the ivory crepe blazer with pearl buttons. Is this jacket coming back in the ivory and/or other colors???

    Thank you,

    Carol

No Carol…..actually that sneak peek was from last year, but the new ivory crepe seamed blazer is the same crepe fabric and color so that would work as well.

Thanks, Louis. I did purchase the new crepe seamed blazer in black along with the matching trousers in black and ivory. They are all very nice! I actually have the pearl button version in ivory, but I’ve lost weight and it no longer fits. I was hoping I could replace it with a smaller size and not have to have the original tailored. I did reorder it in black. I prefer the ivory jacket with the 3/4 sleeves since I can wear it more months out of the year in Florida. Love your jackets!

The fabric is the same crepe. Unfortunately, the pearl button jacket has run it’s course and is no longer being reordered.

It is a fantastic jacket-I have black and lavender and got a black for my daughter, a law school student. Thank you!!!!
