“MAY 04”

……………………May 04 marked my 4th Anniversary….how time flew! A Batik border print created a faux wrap skirt. It actually did wrap, but it was sewn down part of the way. There was a scoop neck, elbow sleeve sweater with contrast bands to coordinate. The print and the sweater came in two colors…………..The sweater dress had tubular seems down the front and back. The “Tree of Life” jacket was seen again……….Below center is another emb. linen rayon sleeveless tunic with high slits. This time the emb. was a combination of small sequins, bugle beads and thread work. There were also many reorders that were part of this delivery.

… And I love your poly scarves and blouses for that reason. A few are still available and on sale !

Was the batik skirt silk or poly?
Silk is great … but poly lasts forever.

Dear Nan….I believe they were silk prints. The borders were printed separately and attached. Two of the ladies said they owned them and they still look great, and that was 16 years ago so they lasted pretty well…..LOL

Absolutely love the batik !!! You choose and design such exceptional fabrics ! I sew, and that can be done small scale custom, but quality fabric is already hard to find.
I love, will miss, and am so glad I already have, so many of your wonderful creations! Nan

I have the brown skirt combination. Still looks as good as new.

I have both of those skirts. I don’t even remember the last time I wore them, but they are so pretty, I can’t bear to part with them. I think of them like art.

Carol…if they still fit….wear them…..they are very much in style….or else make pillows out of the fabric!….don’t let them waste away in the closet!….You can even frame them and hang them in a wall. You can make a series of 4 of them and hang them together.

I should really try them on to see if they still fit. If not, I really like the pillow idea. They are such beautiful prints, which is why I can’t bear to part with them.
