“A223654, THE TIE DYE SWEATER REORDER”

The TIE DYE SWEATER REORDER is BACK in all of its ORIGINAL colors plus the addition of the new…………………TAN & PEACH………………………..The tan reminds me of wet BEACH SAND, and the peach drifts to the CORAL side. It is a beautiful soft, neutral combination. The contrast GROS GRAIN RIBBON is dyed to coordinate with the peach and the little gumdrop buttons are tan. Just a reminder…..this is an engineered print…..meaning the ENTIRE SWEATER is PRINTED in one process……so everything MATCHES and each sweater is exactly the same. What you see above is exactly what you will get. There are no blotches placed on a delicate area….if you get my DRIFT………This sweater is a cool 100% COTTON and is perfect for bike riding in the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Malibu or along the lake…..in other words …..the PERFECT SUMMER SWEATER! I have it shown with the TAUPE BOHO SKIRT, which is a terrific coordinate…….the new WHITE BOHO will be perfection.  A pair of chinos, white crops or shorts will be all you really need to look ready for spring /summer. I also like this color because it is different enough from the others…..that you won’t mind having two…………….or three……….they are that special, and you certainly won’t see yourself coming and going!……. I suggest , if you are new to this sweater, that you read all of the details and comments on the QVC LINEA SITE. There are 35 reviews………….34 are 5 STARS………..and one person gave it ONE *……….go figure…..you can’t please everyONE! Scroll down for pictures of all the original colors it is still being offered in…………………..Enjoy………………much Love………………Louis

Thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph these beautiful fashions, particularly the new color choices. Your doing this gives us a much more accurate portrayal of the colors as well as styling options. I have ordered this new cardigan in the peach and tan along with the boho in taupe. Then yesterday I ordered the new lace-trimmed cardigan in both new colors as well as the natural tank. Guess you can say my closet is being redone in Linea for sure!

    Louis,
    Wow! You make me smile.

Louis, I just received this sweater. It is absolutely stunning! I love these colors!

Louis, I can’t wait to buy this sweater in multiple colors. Each year, I visit my family in a small village in the Abruzzo region of Italy and they ooh and aww over my clothes. When I tell them they are designed by Louis Dell’Olio, they say, “Of course, he’s Italian. He understands beauty. Thought you would enjoy that.

Dear Elena…..what a beautiful part of Italy…..and the food and wine….my mouth is watering!!! Make sure to tell your family I say CHIAO!……………….is that spelled correctly??

Louis, you torture me with this sweater and the “linen” knit fleck shell each year. Love the new peach/tan combo. I sure wish both the sweater and shell were long enough for me to buy them, but I’m sure our shorter Linea aficionados will treasure these. You do such beautiful cardigans!

How tall are you??? Do you have an extremely long torso? Jac is 5’10 1/2″ and she can wear them….or is it that you just don’t like the shorter look………..If I had made these sweaters longer they would not be as youthful looking…..JMHO

I’m only 5’9″ but very long in the torso and full chested – so the torso and top take up a lot of length. I need 27″ to cover the waist band. To show how long my torso is in proportion to my height, I buy your petite pants whenever a style offers that option and your 25″ crop pants are ankle pants for me. I love A232345, the whisper knit shell with ribbed trim because of that 1″ of extra length. I bought 2 of each color.

I agree with you that the tye dye sweater would not look as fresh if it rode too long on the torso. It’s just my misfortune that 27″ is a cropped look on me…that’s why I joked about the torture of it. I would love to put in a vote for the tweed knit to be offered in a longer top option in 2014. I know that one was kept short to go under the lace cardigan, but maybe the Q-buyer would consider the tweed knit in an additional style? I am really looking forward to April’s fiesta whisper knits and your feather jersey collection later. Well, shucks, I look forward to anything you design – whether I can wear it or not. Deborah

I now understand your problems. Your torso is approx. two inches longer than the measurement we use. I think you are going to fall in love with the entire “Feather Jersey” Group. There are lots of longer styles in this light as air fabric. What part of the country are you from?

          1. Diamondscribe

Northwest Florida, so we still have seasons…only in moderation, LOL. I have the ETA of the feather jersey group on my calendar.

    Louis,
i Love the peach/tan. I have the taupe boho, and I am going to order it right away. If I was to wear a tank under it ( for taupe boho and peach tan sweater) which tank would you recommend ( the ivory tank coming up? the tweed tank -which one, i have the natural). Thanks for preview. LOVE IT.

    1. Cathy

I really like this sweater, and am thrilled to see the taupe/peach (coral) combination. I need cooler tones and taupe is one of my favorite neutrals.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

The natural does work with the cardigan…..maybe with ivory bottoms or the matching stone herringbone trousers. an Ivory tank for sure, but I don’t have a new one coming up????

  6. Qulia

Louis, I have all three of the original colors and was going to pass on the new color but when I saw it with the taupe skirt I had to have it. I’m wondering, will it work with the mushroom pants from last summer? What about with the perfectly pink boho?

    Julia

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The P.Pink boho….no, but the mushroom pant is OK…..not a match but , for me, it works.

  7. LauraL

Thank you. The sweater is beautiful and as you say different enough that I want a second color. I have the blueberry/lime and just love the sweater.
