“A DETAIL OF THE EMBROIDERY”

………………………I thought it would be interesting for you to see a draft I made of the embroidery design for the Feb. cotton acrylic sweater….Each color and shape represents a different faceted, flat back stone…..The turquoise borders were thread work……I still have these samples stored away……I designed every emb. I ever did for QVC. I only know of two QVC designers who did this themselves………Bob Mackie and myself.

This reminds me of my sweater and I think mine is
Every bit as beautiful as this one even without the beads. Mine has emb around the neck, sleeves and
The front like this one but is finished with rib knit dyed to match the emb in tangerine. A71282. I wore it just
The other day . Beautiful clothes beautiful day !

P.S. I have no idea why this typing comes out so irregular looking. I think I know where and where not to put capital letters!

Wow, that’s a lot of detail! Curious to know how you figure out the measurement for each shape? measure after you draw it on paper?

Pratt…..I have each stone shape and just outline it on the paper to scale.
