“WOW!”

As many of you have noticed there are many many styles that were either sold out or on wait list that are all back…..even the black/pine tartan blazer and floral print blouse are back, and these have been on waitlist forever. Many W Knits like the cardigan, skirt etc etc are back……I would guess the quantities are extremely limited, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you start to see many of them disappear again for the last time. I highly recommend you go over to the QVC Linea site and see what you may want….this may be your last chance at Linea items.

    Louis,
I saw that so many of the items were restocked so I have been picking up some pieces that had sold out. I got the jacket in white with the faux pearl buttons, which I have it already in the black. And I picked up a few other items That have been limited in colors but seems like they’ve added more. I also picked up The lace BoHo skirts in black and white. Didn’t think I would look good in that style but they are very flattering. I wanted you to know that I wore the sequin top in the midnight styled with jeans. I saw that in one of your videos and thought it looks so cool. Anytime I wear any of your clothes I always get compliments and this was no different. As a matter fact everybody was commenting about combining something that is considered formal with something so casual as jeans. You always have such great ideas of how to combine different items. Hope you are doing well and wishing you the best.

Louis, I was so happy to get a few things that I missed…..the emerald green floral blouse, Loden satin tank to go with my Loden gauze blazer, Jac’s garden scarf in ivory, black moss crepe tank dress, navy WK polo, the beautiful black fly front pant (LOVE my ivory), and a few more. I hesitated on the perfectly pink pleated blouse as I usually don’t wear light pink, but one of the ladies said it was more of a peachy pink so I got that too. I adore the ivory pleated blouse and thought that the pink would go so nicely under my navy blazer, black riding jacket, and I am eyeing the grey ribbed cardigan for that blouse too since I have the matching grey slim pant. I still can’t believe this is it for your beautiful designs, but this last haul has me tickled as I thought they were gone forever.

I hope you are experiencing some warmer temps and sunshine by you today! We are and I almost want to run out and dig under the snow to see if my bulbs are peeking through yet, but it’s definitely too early. I can’t wait to see your daffodils blooming along your driveway. I keep thinking that I want to do something like that as we have a bit of a longer driveway here in the country, but then I think of having to weed the new bed and I hesitate! I’m off to take a walk and will make sure to ignore the rest of the mint Girl Scout cookies that were delivered yesterday. Love and hugs to you dear Louis and have a wonderful day!

So happy you were able to get all of these wonderful things. I really don’t know where they came from. I can only guess that they accumulated all of the Christmas returns that women had 3 months to think about, the timing is right, and posted them all at once! My Daffodils are all coming up, but it’s frigid here today. I don’t have weeds. Franco mulches the beds. While the Daffodils are in their full glory the Black Eye Susans are starting to grow, but you can see them yet. When the Daffodils are done and cut away the BES are big enough that the bed still looks good….no weeds.

I didn’t think of the black eyed Susans coming up right after the daffodils and thus no room for weeds, plus they probably hide the dying foliage of the daf’s. I tend to struggle with roses, so my idea is to have a long hedge of Limelight hydrangeas matching the curve of our driveway and then having the daffodils/black eyed Susan in front of them. I struggle with roses but am still trying! Got the dreaded rose slug last year and I thought it was worse than the Japanese beetles! Franco needs to give me some rose tips!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The only roses that do well for me are the climbers along the drive, but they were planted before I moved in and were already established. The rest I don’t do well with either. I have them around the flag pole, but after the first bloom they aren’t wonderful. Franco isn’t great with roses either.

Did you notice the long WK skirt is now avail in many colors! That’s been unavail. for a long time.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

How do most women dress by you That they should question how you dress? Get the grey cardigan…it’s fabulous….even with the ivory pleated blouse, but with the matching WK pieces it’s wonderful.

        1. Karen in WI

I did notice the WK skirt was available! I have all of them, but do wonder if I need a backup black.

The ladies here dress very casually (jeans, t-shirts, casual pants and sweater) and I have gotten some negative comments from acquaintances, which surprised me, but I always try to deflect the usually passive aggressive comment in a positive way or compliment them on what they are wearing. When this doesn’t work, I pointedly (in a lady like way) tell them that criticizing someone for what they are wearing only puts a bright light on your own insecurity. I’ve only had to do it twice, but it put an end to it!. I rarely see a woman in a skirt or dress and I always compliment them if I have the opportunity. My hairdresser said someone recently told her that she was very dressy. At the time she was wearing jeans, a cardigan, and a necklace! She is one of the few women I see in a skirt/dress. Up in the Milwaukee suburbs you will see a bit more effort to dress, but further out in the country no. I still dress in a feminine, dressy way and will continue to do so as it makes me happy!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Karen…it would always be good to have a back up black skirt….you never know what could happen to the one you have…..I can’t believe what you are telling me about these women!!! Are they friends??? How judgmental to make remarks about the way you dress! It sounds to me like a streak of jealously. I would stay clear of women like that. If they feel free to talk about the way you dress I can’t imagine what they say about other women. They sound like the type that would brand someone with a SCARLET LETTERE!

            1. Karen in WI

I agree Louis. They are usually acquaintances, but some were friends that I eventually shied away from. I could have an interesting discussion about scarlet letter as you are right on! I think the way I dress and my long hair makes me stand out as I sure don’t blend here. I miss living in California as you could wear whatever and I would regularly get compliments! And I loved the diversity of people and everyone was so friendly and comfortable mingling. Must have been all the sunshine. Well, bloom where you are planted, as they say! I will just make my own sunshine here. Love and hugs!

Thank you Louis. I dearly love those jewelry pieces and the story behind the sayings! Hugs!

I had wavered on getting the plum pants. I already have port and wine… Then they were sold out in my size. Rats!
Today, after reading this post, I went back and happily, they had 1 plum in my size. Bought that and many other things. Like Christmas again!!! I won’t be purchasing much from QVC in the future, since my favorite designer is not there anymore… ;-(

  4. Carol

I just bought 5 pairs of Linea Leisure pants in black and navy. I take that back. I just STOLE 5 pairs of Linea Leisure pants in black and navy and am not sure I have stolen enough. I already own several pair in each of those colors, but they do fade over time and I want fresh one for traveling the world in the not too distant future–fingers crossed!

How can I go wrong throwing in a few extra ribbed cardigans, some super ponte slim leg pants, a riding jacket and a hoody?

  5. Cela

You really did a beautiful job with the faux suede skirt.
It looks beautiful with the navy floral print blouse, and I’m looking forward to getting the navy suede pant to go with it also. I hope the navy blazer is still there. With the exception of a few WK’s I didn’t have many navy
things in my closet but was grateful to see these offered.

Yes, there are many items in many sizes back, including the v neck zippered longer jacket, if anyone is looking for a size and color. Fortunately, I was able to get the black which I had not been able to get in my size. It isn’t on sale but it will be worn for years and couldn’t be touched for much more. Most items are on sale at ridiculous prices and these are worth so much more. It’s a good thing I live where I can wear most of the heavier pieces many months of the year as I could not pass up this opportunity to get such beautiful jackets, sweaters and other pieces and pants to have extras as I have no need to shop lesser quality, fit, and designed pieces—I can shop my closet very happily. Louis, l can’t imagine what you must be thinking when you see some of the prices they are selling your items for—knowing what they should sell for. I don’t think QVC has any idea what they’ve done by ending your line,

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mary…..at this point I am thrilled that they are cutting the prices. I wish they would cut them even more so all of you Ladies can get even bigger bargains!!!

You are the kindest!! It is like you are almost giving them to us—know how much your talent and care are appreciated!!

      2. Mary

I didn’t mean to post that anonymously.

    It’s like a dream!
Thank you, Louis, for the heads up about the sudden restocking of so many items on QVC.
I had so many regrets about not ordering many of your items, and was beyond disappointed that I would never have the chance again. It was like a dream reading your post today! I immediately loaded up my cart and just checked out! I’m so grateful for the second chance to add to my Linea collection. I will treasure every piece of clothing and jewelry for many many years to come! Can’t thank you enough!

Well, a serendipitous moment today. I was expecting the sapphire leather zip front jacket with back racing strip. It must have been gone [sold out] when my order went in since they sent me the dove grey instead. I had avoided the dove grey because on my screens – computer and cell phone app – there always looked to me to be an underlying greenish cast to the color. Seeing it now in person, I was SO Wrong. I am THRILLED with the dove grey and the sapphire is gone in my size. All OK though. I also received today the caramel and black boucle jacket. I sprang early for the bisque/grey version and really love it. But to my surprise I really, really like this caramel color on me and have it on as I type this since it is cold outside and low windchill temps at the border of Canada. It is snuggy and comfortable and I really LIKE this color combo. Had on a Linea heather charcoal grey WK turtle when I tried on the jacket. Looks GREAT and I can see that light denim shirts will look fabulous with this jacket. SO glad I got both of these finds. Picking and choosing little items from what remains of the line. I am THRILLED with all of my many purchases from this grand finale season!! Very big thanks Louis!!!
