“THE SUNFLOWER PRINT”

………………….”SPORTSWEAR” is sort of a misnomer, since the clothing isn’t used for sport at all. What it does connote is separate pieces that coordinate by mixing or matching. The heavy Silk Cady “Sunflower” print jacket mixes well with the solid Pongee trousers as well as the matching sarong……..The jewelry I created for this group were large clear resin irregular teardrop shapes with smaller teardrops of gold suspended within……These were sophisticated, chic, timeless modern clothes, and accessories that could easily be worn today. It wouldn’t surprise me if there are still some women who have saved these pieces some 30 years later. The quality was so good that they would have held up to the test of time.

Louis, I love this entire outfit! I wish it was indeed hanging in my closet because it would still be getting plenty of wear. The bracelet is fantastic, as well.

    Hi Louis,
Something I have been meaning to ask you. I have an Ann Klein 2 scottie pin with a rhinestone collar. Was this one of yours ?

Dear Irene, it was probably done when I was the design director, but I didn’t design the Anne Klein 2 products. I just oversaw what was going on….mostly with the apparel. How long ago did you buy it. If it was before 1993 then it was produced when I was there.
