“SUNRISE”

………………………..This is the view I wake up to almost every morning…….I’m an early riser and I’m up before the sun comes above the horizon. This is the time when the sky is at its’ most beautiful. Every morning the sunrise over the Long Island Sound is a new painting, and all of  them are magnificent….You look and wonder….what this new day will bring…….I thank God for the beauty he has shown to me……….”If you always try to be normal….you will never know how amazing you can be.” Maya Angelou

The sky is a canvas and every day a new and unique masterpiece is created.
I often pull over to the side of the road when there is a gorgeous sunset so that I can take some pictures of it in all its glory – pinks, oranges, lilacs, violets, It fills my soul and calms me to take it all in. No two skies are ever the same. Staring out into the beauty of the horizon helps us realize that our “troubles” are so minor in comparison to the wondrous world we live in. And a hundred years from now our problems that cause us so much worry and stress really won’t matter. There is so much beauty surrounding us, but unfortunately, so many of us are in too much of a rush or under the daily pressures of life to stop and take a look around. Thanks , Louis, for reminding us to do so.

Good morning, Louis…..You have started my day with the perfect photos because it is cloudy where I am! Today, you gave me sunshine!!
I love the Maya Angelou quote. It speaks to my new chapter in life-be kind as always, but be brave and be ME! It is OK to say what I want and do not want!!
Have a great day and GOD BLESS!🌞
