…………For the Easter Holiday in 1977, I went to visit my parents in Florida for a long weekend. My older brother Mauro, my SIL Kathy and their three children, John, Christopher and Jeannine [in the stroller], also came to spend a week with my parents. Kathy was pregnant with my nephew Mathew. The proud grandpa is in the middle. I can’t figure out what my father is wearing??? Does he have something on with long black sleeves under his shirt or is it just the photo??? I was 29…..still smoking, with a head full of hair, and thin…..That July I was turning 30 and was to have a big surprise birthday party at Studio 54……Those were the days!

Agree with Angela!!!! Did you realize it at that time? When people see old photos of me and comment on how attractive I was, I often wish that I recognized/or believed it at that time.
You are right about photos allowing us to remember things we would otherwise forget. I am combing through old photos to use for my husbands Celebration of Life and have been wishing that I had taken more photos. I am remembering events that I wish were documented in photos. Thanks for sharing yours.
Dear Donna I never though of myself as being “hot” as Angela puts it. I certainly knew that I was good looking enough, but nothing special. I was surrounded by beautiful women and men, so I was just Ok in my opinion. Only when I grew older and looked back did I think I was better looking than I thought….wish I had known that then…LOL, but I did pretty good…look who I got!!!!!
