POSTCARDS FROM ANGUILLA

Once again, we had a wonderful time in Anguilla. Every flowering plant was bursting with the color only Mother Nature can provide. We arrived in Anguilla, after landing in Saint Maarten where we were met by the hotel representatives, and headed straight for the “Fun Time” launch to take the 25 minute ride over to the island. What we love about Anguilla is there are no big airports, only small private jets land there, and there is no big harbor for the cruise ships to dock……so the island is very quiet and laid back. We had a magnificent villa with a living room, dining room, full kitchen, three terraces, a huge bedroom and bathroom and a wonderful pool…………it was paradise…….I also had my own golf cart to tool around the property………..driving on the left is tricky!………..Cap Juluca is HEAVEN on earth!

So glad to see you both relaxing in such a beautiful place. Jac, as always, looks stunning in your clothes. I am certainly no Jac, but I thank you for creating clothes that allow me to look and feel beautiful as well. What a gift you have given us.

    Louis and Jac,
You are back at our favorite place. I hope that you are enjoying the mellow lovely lifestyle that Anguilla affords and the staff at Cap Juluca are such wonderful people and make one feels extremely comfortable and at home. Relax and enjoy yourselves …I can just see that star studded sky at night and the warm lovely breeze! The wind sailing is so beautiful…ah…a bit jealous, but thrilled you guys are on the loveliest of Islands.

That bougainvillea (the fuchsia colored flower in center) is lovely to look at! Sadly an expensive annual by us northeasterners.

Looks like there might be some inspiration for the spring/summer collection lurking in Anguilla! You both look like you’re enjoying the island life. Can’t wait to see what you’ve cooked up for the July show.

Just beautiful, Louis! At a paradise such as this, the most exercise I am usually up to is turning the page of my book :-). Hope the trip was as relaxing and restorative as it looks to be!

    I’d never want to leave.
