………………………..On one of my bi-annual trips to Positano, Jac and I liked to spend a few days at Andrea and Jean Pierre’s villa in Praiano, Italy before the work began. We would spend most of the day by the pool just lounging in the sun……what a life!!! That’s me JP in the center and Andy on the right. Jean Pierre was French born and raised in Cario, Egypt. As a young many he was in the French Foreign Legion and was a paratrooper!!!!! He met Andrea in Paris when they were young men, and that was it. JP joined Andrea in his shoe business and they were together for over 50 years…..They were incredible people who really enjoyed life! Jac took this picture…..one of the few I have of the three of us in Praiano.
Curious- is the pool sea water or fresh water ? Heated or not??
Looks so lovely either way!
The pool was fresh water, and since it’s warm there most of the year there isn’t really a great need to heat it.
