“THE WHISPER KNIT TUNIC REORDER”

Linea Ponte7

A228341, is the WHISPER KNIT TUNIC reorder. It is a JEWEL NECK sweater that I introduced last fall and was an immediate sell out. The BLACK and WALNUT have been reordered and two new colors have been added……..TOPAZ………&………BORDEAUX……………The Topaz you are familiar with. It is the same color as the seamed blazer from last fall…….a real AUTUMN LEAF COLOR. The BORDEAUX is a deep rich wine. I would say the photos to the right capture it best. The photos to the left are a little washed out due to the flash………..it is a gorgeous color. As you can see in the photos , it works perfectly with the RASPBERRY TWEED JACKET and the new WALNUT PANT. I have accessorized the outfit with two of my ANTIQUE BRASS TONE HAMMERED RING & BEAD NECKLACES, the matching earring and my signature WINE BERET. The beads of the necklace really pick up the color they are placed upon, in this case the Bordeaux……giving the beads a deep rich color. The Bordeaux sweater also is a great match to the Bordeaux LEATHER/KNIT BLAZER. This tunic is already avail for ordering and many of you have received it. All of the body measurements are listed on my QVC Linea site………..if you don’t own one already, I would suggest you read the many reviews………………scroll down………………..

…………………..enjoy……………..much Love………………Louis

I have both this one and the V neck reorder in aubergine, which is the same tone, but a little more red, IMO. Both are beautiful. I got the Bordeaux to wear belted under the Burgundy Leather Jacket.

Would love dyed to match slacks to go with the jacket? Next year maybe?

One look at both of these colors in the photos and I promptly ordered each new color. I missed out last year on the tunics and wasn’t going to wait one second more to get the newest colors. Now my big decision is which of the new jacket colors to get along with other new pieces. Good thing I sort of controlled myself on the last show because I’m losing control for sure now. Thanks for the gorgeous photos which give much truer images/colors than anything on Q!

I know you will be happy with both colors….they are really good. The WK really take dye very well

Just received this in the two new colors…beautiful fit, feel, and fabulous colors! Now I’m ordering the walnut color (don’t need the black as I have plenty in that). I feel like a child in a candy shop…delighted! Thank you!

The Bordeaux tunic is fab with the faux shantung pencil skirt in hemp….smash hit with me.

    Simple and rich.

So I could do that over the FJ in the hemp?…or is the sweater too much for the FJ?

          1. Sherry

Sorry, is that yes, I can….or yes, it’s to much of the FJ?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sherry….yes you can wear them together…..why not???

            2. Sherry

I didn’t know if the FJ was too light weight to support the look of the WK…

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

If you can wear georgette with WK why not FJ?

            4. Sherry

Ok, I just have to not think of things in terms of seasons and just wear what works…

            5. Sherry

Thank you for your patience…I’m trying to get out of the habit of wearing “outfits” and not wearing my clothes with other pieces. I’m trying to think out of the box…

Also, I watched the leather/knit jacket video and saw Jac wearing the burgundy jacket with the topaz dress…I liked…I saw that she was wearing burgundy/wine hose, but what color of shoes was she wearing??? I couldn’t tell if they were burgundy or brown. thanks

            6. Sherry

              Thank you so much!

Love those tunics! At your suggestion on color combos somewhere on this site, Louis, I paired brown w/ bordeaux last year and what a beautiful color combination! Ladies, here’s the item number for the necklace: J278125. I thought I had missed it. Good grief, do NOT go by those silly pics over there. Look at it here. Earring: J278127

I really don’t know why they can’t do a better job with the jewelry photographs. I was reading a review of this necklace, and how disappointed the customer was when she received it. From the QVC photo she thought, rightly so, that is was a very delicate necklace with small delicate beads. When it arrived it was a chunky necklace which she thought was too big and heavy. Of course, everything she didn’t like is exactly what I do like, but that’s another story. I always suggest, if you really want to see what something looks like, refer to my pictures…..they are the most accurate depictions you will find.

It’s not just the jewelry photos its the clothing photos too!! I cannot understand why the QVC website continues to cut corners on photography when so many other websites that sell clothing do a much better job as showing the clothing.
Re: the person who purchased the necklace and thought it was delicate based on the QVC photo, its possible she is unaware of your blog photos.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

She probably doesn’t know about my web site. I can understand her disappointment if she expected somthing small and delicate.

    2. Sharon Santourian Holman

OMG! I didn’t know that was the same necklace!! I came back to look at the picture here! I thought it hadn’t aired yet..wow.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I know the QVC photo is terrible, I wouldn’t order that necklace myself from that picture.
