I am posting my sneak peak TUNIC SWEATER, A239319, since it has already been posted on the QVC Linea site and avail for buying. This tunic sweater was originally planned to be part of my presentation at QVC on December 27th. It was decided that since the sweater was already in the QVC warehouses……why not make it avail NOW…..for Holiday wearing and gift giving. I am glad they did , because it is the perfect sweater for those Holiday occasions when you want to wear something special but not over the top…..Thanksgiving….. the first night of Hanukkah….the office Christmas party……a night at the theater or Christmas concert……..a friends tree trimming party……… This is a very UNIQUE, NOVELTY yarn………..what is known in the business as a “FANCY”…….The yarn is 72% NYLON…..the shiny poodle like yarn, and 28% acrylic…..the matte yarn. There is a misconception out there that all acrylic yarns are equal and inexpensive……….That, my friends, is FAR from the truth. These “fancy” yarns are NOT inexpensive…..on the contrary…………….Of course, as I have said many many times…..there are all different qualities of yarns. This happens to be, IMHO, an exceptional one. I am always looking for…… the SPECIAL…..the OUTSTANDING…..the UNIQUE items to bring to you. This blend of yarns was made exclusively for the Linea Ladies. If you are a knitter…… you know the “fancy” yarns are always more expensive than the plain yarns……..Many many high end designers use acrylic and nylon yarns to create looks in fabrics and sweaters that simply can not be achieved with any other fiber! ……Armani….Chanel….Krizia…..D&G ……..Proenza Schouler…..Alaia and Gautier are just a few designers who come to mind who have been known to use many different types of man made yarns [acrylics and nylons included], to achieve the look they wanted…….This yarn is SUPER SOFT, COZY and wonderful against the skin. There is lots of stretch to this sweater….it’s glides over the body and follows the curves of the body…..it does not cling, but it does not stand away like a boxy garment.. Do not…..I REPEAT….do not HANG this sweater, or you will have a dress!. Even though the yarn is very soft….it is still substantial enough to create a beautiful cowl neck collar. Even if you have a short neck….it drapes down so you do not have the front of the cowl high up against the throat……………….a word to the wise……….put your jewelry on after you have put the sweater on…….It has loops and can catch onto prongs…..but don’t worry….the knit is so TEXTURED that you can’t see anything…..even if you accidentally catch a prong…..it is not that delicate…. All of these types of specialty yarns need a little bit of attention and care…..I think the look of this sweater is well worth it…………………You can see in the close up photos exactly what the yarn looks like………it is even prettier in real life………This is the perfect sweater to wear with…… SLIM PANTS………PENCIL SKIRTS, LONG SLIM MAXI SKIRTS…..JEANS…and perfect with……….LEGGINGS and a BALLET FLAT. Hi Sherry……if you mean the glass bead necklaces….they are in the QVC warehouses, so it’s just a matter of time before they are posted. If would have been nice if they were posted with the earring and bracelet, but what can I say. The legging will be on the morning show on the 27th.
I was talking about the one you are showing across the shoulder in the picture above. It has the bead and space between the beads, and it looks like a peek of a different earring.

I believe you mentioned under the ‘Ask Louis’ section that this sweater has a lot of stretch? From that,we should order our regular Linea size?

Dear Chris I would recommend ordering your regular size It does have stretch but it does lie against the body….you don’t want it to be tight or it will be like one of those Chinese finger puzzles.
LOL!I ordered the peacock color. Plan to wear it with either leggings or the black stretch velvet pants from a few years ago you had offered.
