“THE SPRING PEARL NECKLACES HAVE ARRIVED”

Sept group 1

The SPRING PEARL NECKLACES have arrived and they are BEAUTIES!!!! The colors are , from the large photo starting at the left………… MOCHA MIST………………….BLUE MIST……………………….DRIFTWOOD. The pictures are as accurate as I could get them. You can see that the colors in all the photos are slightly different………none are exact, but they are close so you can get a good idea. I’m sure my photos will be better than the ones QVC finally puts up….whenever………….They look incredible together…..very soft and very expensive looking……….REMEMBER! there will be bracelets  and stud earrings to match in a smaller millimeter and the bracelets will come in a three pack….one of each color…..so you will get one each of Driftwood, Blue Mist and Mocha Mist……..Ivory, Navy and Perfectly Pink etc etc……..If memory serves the earrings are being sold the same way….in a three pack. You will have a choice of pierced or clip. Also, returning is the …………CREAM…………..DO NOT HESITATE…..the last time they sold out in a FLASH, and it has taken months to get more in…….Also, the PERFECTLY PINK has been replenished because the quantities were getting very low………………..Ladies, believe me when I say….I am not pushing, but if you really really want these don’t wait long….the quantities ordered were not huge and I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed………..They really are beautiful…………………………………….enjoy………………………….much Love………………Louis

    Louis,

I was also on waitlist for the pearls. In my case, based on your photo, I ordered the Mocha Mist. Today I received a much lighter pearl; it looks exactly like the one you called Driftwood. Please clarify; which one is the darker pearl (the one I wanted): Mocha Mist or Driftwood? Also, is it possible that QVC has them labeled differently? Would love clarification before I order again. Thanks!!

    Louis,

I ordered the driftwood pearls when they were on waitlist. They just arrived today. I expected to receive pearls in a neutral taupe color but the pearls I received are much darker and have a bronze tone. Are the driftwood pearls a bronze color?

No…it sounds like you got the BRONZE pearls to me. They are an antique gold-ish color.

        Thank you, Louis.

    Louis,
Thanks for all the great photos. All so tempting! The blue mist pearls look beautiful and soft in your photo but on the Q website they look almost navy. Can you clarify the color for me, please?

    Many thanks, Fran

Dear Fran…I don’t know where you saw colors. I just looked at the QVC web site and they don’t have any of the new colors or the P. Pink colors posted yet???? The blue mist is a pale, soft blue gray color that works on many colors, best on neutrals like grays, blues and taupes………and twigs.

    Hi Louis –
Can you tickle our imagination a bit more? What did you have in mind when you chose these colors? (They are luscious! But I am always amazed with your perspective on color mixing and would love to hear more!)

I am doing some pretty neutral colors for early spring like the GRAY, TWIG and the TAUPE and IVORY that these colors on their own or mixed will look great with.

What luscious colors. Are any Whisper Knits coming for spring in these colors. BTW, Mr. Dell Olio, would you consider this top in Whisper Knit? A231805? OMG, I don’t know, is this appropriate? I just think some of the taller Liner ladies would appreciate it. Swan neckline, sensuous long sleeves and all. I have it in cotton, but in Whisper Knit, wow! What do you think?

      1. Cela

Not a good design or the sensitivity of doing something from another Q Line?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cela…..the design is very simple and frankly you can find a zillion similar tops in every store and every catalog, so it’s not the design or the fact that it was another Q product. The one referenced is a cut and sew fabric so it can be made very cheaply…..doing the same thing in WK could almost be double if not double the price because of the shape and the bottom which would have to be finished of with a tubular trim. If I made it in the ENR construction….that would solve the problem of the hem, but it would use double the yarn adding greatly to the price, but would avoid poke outs at the side seams where the tubular bands join…….I too think it would make a terrific WK piece, but will most of the customers understand the price difference or just compare it to the cheaper product?….In a photo you wouldn’t know the difference in the quality.

Isn’t that why we have Jac, Maria and bombshell Brenda? Those videos trump the photos every time. LOL

I was one of the lucky few able to buy Ivory the first time around and I wear them at least once a week. Picking up Blue Mist this time to wear with all my chocolate-brown and charcoal grey things now, and my whites, khakis, and olives this summer. LDO, keep ’em coming!!

‘Driftwood’ color has not been listed on waitlist at the Q.

    1. Jane

Louis, Driftwood was showing on QVC.com as available (not waitlist). When I tried to purchase it, it kept saying Sold Out. After 3 tries, I was able to get it, but there was only one. Then it disappeared entirely from the colors shown. Could they be Sold Out already?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Absolutely no…..they must not have them loaded into the system…..it’s a beautiful neutral taupe color.

      2. Louis Dell'Olio

P.s. it’s very strange to let jewelry and not have it avail, but then again Qvc isn’t Amazon

        1. Jane

Yes, very strange indeed! And, yes, QVC isn’t Amazon! 🙂
