Thank YOU!

Thank you for all of your good wishes on my Birthday! I know Jac has been filling you in on all the plans she has made to celebrate. She doesn’t just celebrate the Birth…..”Day”……she makes plans for the Birth….”Week” and beyond! We have been out to dinner three times and have seen “The Book of Mormon”, which won the Tony Award for best musical. Next week we go to see “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and out to dinner. We are going to one of my favorite theater district restaurants….”ORSO”. The restaurant is small and the food is very good. I love their very thin Rosemary pizza bread! Then, in early August,we are going to see “War Horse” at Lincoln Center. It won the Tony Award for best play. I’m not sure where we will eat…..I’m not that familiar with restaurants in that area…..any suggestions? We used to love to go to “Cafe Des Artistes”, but, unfortunately, that has closed…..There is always “Cafe Luxemburg”………Again, thank you all very much for all the good wishes you have sent my way!………. oh…my three girls sang to me. I need to U tube that!….much LOVE, Louis

I love visiting New York City! Hope to come back some time and bring my daughter who has never seen a live play…deprived I know! Question: I saw A 213327 has khaki as a wait-listed color but the corresponding skirt doesn’t have that color wait-listed. Is there going to be something that the khaki jacket will go with in the future? I know…I’m too curious and may need to just wait in suspense. Thank you!

      Dear Susan,
The pencil skirt has not been reordered…..that seems to always happen with a pencil skirt. I do not have a matching bottom but, I actually see it more as a separate jacket than a suited look. The “new” khaki will have antique brass zippers and buttons instead of the bright gold. I think any black bottom will look great. Also the khaki shirt dress under it with a black tank under the dress will look fabulous….belt the dress with a great looking black belt or a animal belt and it will really look very pulled together…regards, Louis

Thank you so much for your reply and for the suggested ways to use the jacket. I’m definitely going on wait-list for this color as I missed out on the other colors in my size. And I love the antique brass instead of bright gold zippers and buttons. I have a black skirt and also black slacks which would go with this. But, of course, now I have to look again at the khaki shirt dress…

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I just wanted to let you know that my sister and her partner are getting married in October…, FINALLY! They have been together for over 18 years. We are all THRILLED. The wedding party has been asked to wear GRAY, and I have just ordered your A210357 Jacquard Jacket in charcoal with the violet trim (two of my favorite colors together). The request is also not to wear anything with a pattern, but this looks subtle. Do you think I can get away with this showing up as more of a solid than a pattern?!!!! I hope so, because, I’m WEARING IT ANYWAY! LOOKS GORGEOUS. I’m just not sure what skirt to wear (need gray as well… from the palest to the most charcoal).

Congratulations to your sister! I think the gray jacket sounds perfect. There isn’t any pattern, just the piping. There was a matching skirt but it’s sold out.
      ……….best regards, Louis

    Hi Louis!

Hope you have a wonderful birthday! I have several suggestions for restaurants in NYC…Petrossian’s on 58th & 7th Ave. and Milo’s 125 E. 55th. Milo’s is Greek with fresh fish flow in daily…Petrossian’s wonderful continential cuisine! You can’t go wrong with either! Two of my favorites when I get home to NYC! Have a wonderful time…I’m jealous I really hope to see War Horse myself soon!

    Louis and Jac,

You may want to try Thalia on 8th Avenue and 51st. It is one of my favorites in the theater district. Love Orso as well. Happy Birthday!

      Don’t know Thalia….I’ll GOOGLE it….thanks….Louis

What a great Birth Week(s)! Gotta love a woman who loves to party! It’s because she has all those great clothes to wear.
