“Were you NAUGHTY or NICE this year?”

I’m hoping the answer to my question is NICE!, and Santa treated all of you very well. Santa brought me everything on my list plus a few extras and some surprises. One of the surprises was a new IRON! Wasn’t expecting one….didn’t ask for one, but I guess Santa thought I could use a new and improved version….LOL I guess my school training for tailoring, sewing, which I hate to d0, and ironing, which I don’t mind doing, paid off. Another surprise present was a beautiful TN. I’m a TN person and wear them all winter, when it’s cold, almost every day. I have many casual TN in cotton, but it’s hard to find a “dress” TN. I can’t wear wool or cashmere, too itchy or too hot, so it’s a problem. Jac surprised me and got me a beautiful TN. She wanted me to try it on right away….which I did. It felt great, fit great, and was a nice deep black. Finally, a beautiful TN that was the right weight and didn’t itch. When I took it off she told me to look at the label…….Have you guessed yet???…………It was the classic LINEA TN !! Needless to say I was very surprised, and had never thought that the Linea TN would be good for men….but it is exactly like other TNs I have….rib cuff and a rib bottom…..I have to admit I’m a plus size in Linea…LOL….So ladies if the men in your life aren’t over 5′ 10 and don’t have sleeve lengths longer that a 34, these will be perfect for them. No one would ever know they were made for women……they really are unisex…. Now that I know I can wear them….watch out plus ladies I’m your new competition!!!….LOL…..Jac also gave me tickets to three Broadway shows, so we will be celebrating Christmas for quite a while……..Our first show is this weekend….”The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time”…..It’s supposed to be fabulous….will let you know……………………..

Oh my goodness, I’m laughing very happily out loud at having a new competitor in the plus range for this fantastic incomparable turtleneck 🙂 May I suggest hunter green? I have and LOVE all of the dark colors you might truly enjoy wearing and I can recommend them all. Plus the drop dead gorgeous reds, pinks, purples, browns. In fact at last count I think I have 18 of these glorious TNs and love every single one! Smart, Smart Jacque!

The hunter green and navy for sure. I really wanted the charcoal, but it’s SOLD OUT….DRATES!

Yes, the minute you mentioned the upcoming cardigan during the presentation of the TN…the Charcoal TN sold out…smart shoppers!!! I already had mine as I am a Gray girl at heart…love all shades of Gray…

Sorry about that Louis. But if you are getting into shape for the competition you are going to HAVE to order early! 🙂 See you in line for the midnight postings on coming new colors? On the positive side, it’s a good way to remember how much you and your wonderful works are loved out here!

I was nice! The greatest joy and present was to be with and hold my infant foster grandson, whom our son and DIL hope to adopt. He loves for me to sing songs to him in Spanish, and he tries so hard to replicate the shape of my mouth when I sing to him! A gift to me was a precious locket with his little face in it. I can’t seem to take it off :-).

A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Jac! Thanks for sharing all the lovely pictures! It is now the season for living in WK TN’s! I adore them and am very happy to hear you are able to share in the joy! Mahogany Brown would be really nice!!
    Love, Susan

I must have been nice because our kids surprised us also with theater tickets to see ‘Beautiful’ next year. I also received as an early present the raspberry Posh Knit V neck sweater and it is wonderful!! I ordered the camel color now. The domed bracelet was another ‘gift’ and I received the goldtone version.

    Dear Louis,

Ivory is even better than white! I also like Carol’s idea of navy. Your navy is so rich and dark!

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and Jac. I loved the beautiful pictures of all your decoratons. BUT where are the “girls”– in their annual holiday get-up of Linea jewelry? Any photos of the pups in holiday finery, or holiday misbehavior (LOL) would be fun for all of us to see. May the new year bring you and your family health, joy and peace.– BLINDDOGS

We were away so there was no time to get the photos and the cards ready in time……hopefully next year.

Sounds, not wounds! We don’t want to think about wounds!

  8. Carol

Like there’s not enough competition for a wk t-neck already! Now you’ll have to try a color. May I suggest charcoal or navy?

    What is a TN?

    Dear Louis,

What a great story about the Linea TN! Jac was so smart to give it to you. I purchased two of these new ribbed TNs in black this year and wear them all the time. Isn’t this TN being offered in white next fall? If so,I’ll be buying two whites and another black.

    Have fun in the City,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Well almost…not white, but the Linea Ivory and Olive.

      1. Judi

Great! My olive is worn out from so much use. It wounds like there is a new customer in our midst! How about mahogany brown?
Have fun in the City! Be safe.
