“THE PEACOCK PRINT”

lace cardi10

……………………………COOL WATERS………..is what comes to mind when I look at this print……water I would love to jump into. I would venture a guess that BLUES are probably the most popular colors for most people. There is something calming and relaxing about the color blue……………………..In this top the blues range from South Sea Island blue at the top, green blues to the deepest Navy at the bottom……with all shades of Peacock in between. Above, I have it shown with both my White and Navy Linea Leisure pants. If you bought the hammered link necklace in Gunmetal,  shown above before it sold out, it just happens to be the perfect touch. I am a true believer that accessories should be an impulse buy…..you see it…….you like it ……..you buy it. You may not know at the time what you will wear it with, but eventually you will  find just the right outfit, and you will be so glad you have it. There is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when putting everything together…..piece by piece…..to create  just what you were trying to achieve…….Sometimes it’s a great surprise!

……………………………………………..enjoy…………………………much Love……………………………Louis

I love the peacock blue……absolutely gorgeous and perfect with 3/4 sleeves.

Would the peacock go with the dark blue faux silk pants that are the same item no. as the boysenberry?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea…..that’s not an easy call. For some who want the pant to be the exact color as the bottom of the top, the answer is no. However, I do not mind the difference. The tunic has may blue greens on the top portion, but the bottom becomes more navy and compared to the pant….a more purple navy caste….so if you put them next to one another some wouldn’t like it….but if you stand back I think all of the blues work. It depends if your a matchy person or not. If you own them then I would say try it, but if you’re think of buying them just for this top then I would say stick to navy.

I’m not that matchy and I do own the navy WK pants.

andrea………do you have either my navy Linea Body Legging or my cotton/span Capri legging….they are both good options.

No, I don’t. But I’d be saving this top for the fall anyway.

          2. andrea

I don’t have either but I’d be saving this for fall weather.

The way the colors so beautifully “streak” at the top part of this garment – it especially shows in the photos of the peacock and in the photos of the fuchsia – reminds me of the gorgeous streaking I so love in the northern lights we try very hard to catch when we can in northern New England.

Wow. What a beautiful top! I’ll be ordering the peacock–such gorgeous ocean blues. I also have the hammered link necklace, so I’m all set! My husband and I are traveling to Naples, Fla. later this month to visit my MIL, and this top will be going with me, along with the long “blue dress.” I’m lovin all the gorgeous Linea blues coming our way this season…

  6. Jackie

Wowza! Young, fresh, colorful. Love a tunic. ohhhhhh my poor wallet is going to be smokin’ this May.

  7. Susan R

I’ll certainly be “strutting” around in this one! Wow, what a beauty!

  8. Happy Lady

This is a must have for me. Love all the peacock shades and also this fabric and style. When will this be presented?

    Here we go…

No temptation in the world quite like a gorgeous top.

p.s. I happen to own all three hammered link necklaces. They spoke to the “adventurous” me who always responds to beauty.
