********Home Safe and Sound*********

Thank you one and all for a truly successful show! I’m happy I had some things you liked enough to want to own…. I must thank Jane for working so well with me………Before the show, after we went through the line up….she flat out asked me, “Louis how would you like the show to go?” I was a little surprised at her question and it must have shown on my face, because she laughed and said, “what…. hasn’t anyone ever asked you that before?” I was very appreciative! My answer was this. “Jane, it not just how I would like the show to run, it’s how the ladies want to show to run. They want to hear me explain the details of the clothes so they can make educated decisions on whether it will be for them or not. They want me to describe the clothes from head to toe, and what accessories they are wearing…..then we can “dance” and have fun.” Her reply was a simple one….”you got it”…….Needless to say you all saw the result of this brief conversation…..It was a joy to work with Jane, the models had fun too. It does make a huge difference when everything flows smoothly. I hope we get to do it again real soon…..It had been way too long…………………….Again thank you all for a fabulous show, and I sincerely hope the clothes meet all of your expectations when you get them home………Remember, I am always a keyboard away  to help with any questions you may have………………………………………………………………Enjoy………………………………much Love…………………………………Louis

Thank you so much for your designs and attention to detail. I enjoy so many of your designs and eagerly await each presentation on tv as well as your blog. You are really the only designer on QVC who gets my attention. Some I shop with very seldom and some not at all ….. just too crazy for me……. Just want to say thank-you again for 15 years of very classy designs.

Thank you DeLois……I appreciate your words very much.

A great show Louis. I was very happy with Jane’s hosting. I also thoroughly enjoyed Pat the last go-round. And I’m with Designista about the new pink necklace but will patiently await the sneak-peek. Hopefully QVC will post the necklace SOON since it’s an ideal “summer” piece. Feeling the same about the waterfall necklace which I could have worn a couple of times already as we head into the warmer season. Very much looking forward to that. I LOVE the description of how Jane approached the show which says a lot about her – all good! I thought the whole show was so enjoyable! Add me to the grateful who are wishing you a Happy 15th and many, many more!

Wow, that was a great show. I have those boysenberry pants ans am so anxious for the flame top. Thanks to Jane, who UNDERSTOOD! We love you.

I was unable to see the ‘live’ show and its on my DVR, I am up at our son’s college graduation but did catch some of the videos from the show. I had to reschedule some of the items being shipped to a later date next week. But will be patient until then.
Also, while we are on the subject of model’s sizes (the way a show is run) can the camera people please show close ups of the models when the particular color garment is described (the midi dress in particular)? Seeing it on a hanger close up is one aspect of selling it but seeing it on the model close up (and not in the back of the room) works a lot better for many of us.

Glad you are back safely home,
    Chris

Dear Chris….that is a very touchy subject. I do agree with you….It can be very challenging on the new set to “see” the models up close for any length of time. I can only suggest…..don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. I wouldn’t want them to tell me how to style a show.

Wonderful show. Cannot wait to get my pretty pyramid! I’m hoping one day to see you on Shoe Shopping with Jane!

Louis and Jac- Another fabulous show. I bought WAY more than I expected. Oh well. Happy, happy anniversary
and much thanks for all your beautiful designs.

There aren’t enough words to express the thanks and appreciation for 15 years of beautiful fashions, your expertise in guidance and the time you share with us on answering questions on this blog. Happy anniversary to you and Jac.
The show with Jane was wonderful yesterday. I can’t wait to receive the midi dresses, the watercolor tops, the lace sweaters, etc. I’ll continue to be very well dressed!
I’d like to make a suggestion, please.
In future shows could it be possible for the host to let us know what sizes the models are wearing? It would be SO helpful in making educated decisions. The “click here” information helps, but it would be great to have a sense of how the garments translate into the sizes worn be the models.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judi…..I can only suggest that this be done. I think it’s a very valid point. The shows go so quickly, and the models cubbies are so small back stage that they are handed their next change as they come back in off the set, so I’m sure 90% of the time they don’t even know what size they are wearing. I know Jac doesn’t look….there’s no time…you get it off…you get it on in 3 minutes and back onto the set…but I will suggest it.

      1. Judi

Thank you for anything you can do. I understand the constraints but it would be so helpful.

  8. Beryl

Loved the show. I’m so happy there were so many items sold out. Congratulations!
Hope Jane can be on with you again she really lets you explain your designs without interrupting.

Fantastic show! Now about that pink sea glass necklace? I went back to A254439 rayon span tunic, but the video is missing. I think that was the shot with the necklace.

    Dear Louis,

Congratulations on a great show and Happy Anniversary! I watched it live and was so thankful I’d ordered my dresses in advance!! So much in the show was hard to resist and I kept filling my cart…so it was a successful event all around! Thanks for all you do in continuing to bring us such beautiful garments and jewelry.

Louis – your show was tha bomb (lol). I had to tape it because I left work at 5 and my commute home is a little over an hour but when I got home and saw the beautiful colorful array of designs all I can say is wow and when Jac and the other models came out in the maxi dress well the rest is history I’m so glad I ordered the goldenrod and the blue before the show. All the years I’ve been watching your show it just gets better and better. The show was relaxed and flowed so nicely with Jane; the only thing I would have changed was either have a two hour show or another hour show at around 8 or 9pm. Again Happy Anniversary!

I simply adore you and your designs. Thank you so much for caring. 22

Great, informative and entertaining show with Jane. She looked beautiful in her Linea pants and pink lace sleeve sweater. So much fun I watched you both a second time on QVC+. My own white lace sleeve sweater has been here for over a week and my peacock tunic has already shipped. A treat that so many jewelry items were featured. My only regret was seeing the hammered link necklaces and knowing that T missed out on the gunmetal/blue version. I do love my brass/pink necklace.
