……………………………BLACK…..BLACK…..BLACK…..is the second and final color being offered in this jacket….so with only two choices I’ve saved you from racking your brains over which color to buy………or have I????………….The Black quilted jacket is very DOWN TOWN CHIC with my BLACK slim pant…..a Black TN, and one of my Bar necklaces or the new Lariat. Many of you, who LUV this pant, have asked if it was coming back, and I said I didn’t think so……well I was wrong! It has been reordered for next April. Black will be returning with two new colors. Don’t bother to ask me what the colors will be, because I submitted four for them for the buyers to choose the two from, so I don’t know their choice and don’t want to say until it’s definite. I know that this pant worked for many of you, and thought it was absolutely the best fit and fabric, some were not as successful, but that’s always the way it is with a pant…..especially a slim ankle pant. As it turns out the returns were much less than I had anticipated, and the reviews were stellar. For those of you who loved it ….rejoice………………….Back to the jacket……Down Town Chic…….UP TOWN SOPHISTICATE…….Wear it over your LBD, or sweater and skirt…. patterned tights like the all over lace or the herringbone…..a shoe boot…..a great bag and your must have black sunglasses……A STATEMENT necklace like the DINGLE DANGLE would be perfection in any color metal you choose……You will look like you just dropped a bundle at Barneys. If this jacket were made for men I’d order it in a flash. With the short sleeve BLACK WK ENR sweater and a black bottom you are BIG CITY ready. For areas of the country where wearing all black is a sure sign of a tourist….probably a New Yorker…….adding color or pale neutrals with probably suit you better. How chic would it look over a white Tee or TN and white jeans……that would even work in NYC….big time. You know and I know there are a zillion ways you can pull outfits together and pop this light weight jacket on top. As I sit typing this message, a chilly breeze is blowing through my window………………..Fall is right around the corner, and I for one welcome it…………………………….enjoy………………………….much Love……………………………….Louis

I plan to get this jacket in black. It will be a perfect jacket to wear with any of my pants and Whisper Knit turtlenecks.
This sweater jacket over my WK black mockneck & the LL blue tuxedo striped pants = Annapolis autumn uniform. I actually bought those pants in anticipation of this jacket. Oh, and an alabaster for my mom.

I thought I’d have them by today, but now it looks like Tues. It’s still in the high 80s here, so they & fall will be something to look forward to. I’m definitely over wrinkled linen.
GOT…TO…HAVE…IT…Period. And the news about the pants is awesome. I am devoted to those pants. Had the original and lobbied for the new ones. I WILL be buying when they come available.

After seeing the discussion about the slim leg pants on the QVC blog I realized that I was thinking of a different pair. I was thinking of a slim leg that zipped up. No worries. I love these, too. Love the fabric and the fit. Have worn them throughout the summer and they still look fabulous. Great for travel. Great for work. I’ll get another black and whatever the new colors are.

Here’s another must-have piece for me. I’ll be getting this one in both colors and know it will become a three season grab-and-go jacket in my neck of the woods. I own a black North Face jacket for cold temps that has the look of this one, but clearly not the same fit or coziness. I’ll save that one for the mountains and wear my Linea in & around the city & for travel. I’m also thrilled to hear the slim pant has been reordered! I have multiples of that one, too (6 pairs), and although I’m 5’9″ it is the best fitting pant I’ve ever owned. What a great season–I’m ga-ga over just about everything I see;)
I to am very excited about the slim pant coming back. I have two in each color and wore them constantly this summer. In CA I can wear them pretty much year round.
Thank you so much for showing this jacket I have to have both colors. I have decided to stop wasting my money on other designers and only buy your clothing . I have been with you from the beginning and have many of your pieces. I know the swing sweaters are coming and those new jackets so I’m excited about the fall winter season. The only problem you are not on air as often as the other designers so what’s up with that.
Dear Sharon….I do appreciate your vote of confidence in that you will always be dressed well in what ever you chose from my collection. I’m happy with the time I get on the Q. Honestly, I think Jac would divorce me and I would go crazy if I had to be there every week. It’s not easy driving the 6 hours 3 going and 3 coming especially in the winter, and staying in a hotel…..I love my house, my dogs and my bed too much! LOL

Louis, can you see this with your Whisper Knit Mid-calf Skirt (A257384) in black and the raspberry (or another color) WK tank beneath it? Would the proportions work?
Yes Goldie it would be fabulous, and if you have the raspberry shawl you wouldn’t need much more until it really gets cold.
Happy to say I have that raspberry shawl as well as the funnel-neck sweater in that shade. I was floored that that particular sweater did not make the Linea Hit Parade. It is gorgeous and so flattering! (As I remarked in my review, it reminded me of the open-neck sweater that Meryl Streep wore in “The Devil Wears Prada.”) Same goes for those shawls in Whisper Knit. Why they did not fly out the door puzzles me. Fortunately I have the shawl in olive as well and all colors of the smaller scarves. Such a mystery, what is hot and what is not.

OMG, this is a must have for me. It’s just perfect in all kinds of ways. I’m so excited about this—AND that the Slim Pants were reordered—I think I have 7 pairs—and I’ll be buying more ans I never want to be without that pant! I’m thinking maybe the buyer has them—and SHE wants more, too–LOL!
