I am a little late posting my sneak peeks thanks to Hurricane Sandy, but better late than never. The style number is A229710, all the other information has already been posted on my Linea site at QVC. This sweater is my ode to “Sonia Rykiel”, a wonderful French designer whom I have admired for many many years. She is famous for stripe sweaters with FEMININE FLOURISHES…..hence the SEQUINS and BOW. STRIPES, STRIPES, STRIPES are making a strong comeback and appeared on many of the MAJOR DESIGNERS runways both here and in EUROPE. You will be seeing lots and lots of stripes come Spring 2013. I wanted to offer this sweater to you so you would be ahead of the pack! The things that make this special are the graduating stripes, the tunic length which is elongating and the graceful ballet neckline. There are three rows of black stripes that are paved in sequins on the upper body and the sleeve. There are NO SEQUINS ON THE BACK. The “BOX BOW” is similar to the one you see on Ferragamo  shoes. It is sewn on, so for those of you who prefer the sweater without the bow…..it can easily be removed without hurting the sweater…..just be careful not to cut the sweater! HOWEVER, before making any snap judgments, wear it out once or twice and see what reaction you get…..it is discreet and adds a French flair…….you might be surprised. The colors are ………..IVORY/BLACK……..VIOLET/BLACK……….COBALT/BLACK……………..GREY/BLACK. Of course the deep colors with the black tone the effect of the bold stripe. I especially love the Ivory/Black and the Violet/Black with the matching  HOUNDS TOOTH CHECK SKIRTS…………………it’s VERY DESIGNER and VERY CHIC! Black opaque tights and a suede pump, shoe booties or boot is all you need. For the more daring amongst you….a lace or pinstripe tight can work too……if it’s the right pattern….the mix can be superb. I also love this sweater with my pleated skirts, leggings, black jeans and later in the spring……..ivory pants…….actually, you can wear white denim heavy gauge cotton jeans and black boots right now for the Holidays…………………….What a wonderful present this sweater would make and there is nothing wrong with giving yourself a present too!……………………..Enjoy…………………..much LOVE……………………Louis

HALLELUJAH………We have our phones , internet and TV back and things are feeling a little more normal again. We want to thank each and every one of you for ALL of your good wishes and prayers. It has meant a great deal to Jac and I! We feel like we are back in civilization. The house is being worked on and every day there is a little more light at the end of the tunnel. As you know Jac and I have a home at the waters edge and it is truly a little piece of Paradise. Who could ever imagine such disaster would fall upon so many. We all know the horrors of Katrina, but it becomes all to blaring and real when it is at your own back door……literally! Two good things came out of being cut off from the world….we had no TV or internet to see just how devastating this has been to so many and the fact that there was no cable, no TV, phones or internet, allowed Jac and I to spend much more time together………she is beating me in our gin rummy tournament. Even though we had a great amount of damage we thank God we still have our home. I can’t imagine how devastating and heart breaking it must be to come back to your home, after being evacuated, to find nothing at all. I don’t know how people can bare it. Again, Jac and I thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.

Since we just got out cable back this evening, after deleting over 759 messages!!!! I am able once again to post some “SNEAK PEEKS”. The suit above will be on this Friday, Nov. 16th on the morning show which starts at 6am. I am not sure what time I will be on, but I am not at the very beginning. The jacket, A229713, is made in my textured weave fabric. Some of you may own the jacket with the pearl and twisted ribbon trims…..this is the same fabric. The jacket is trimmed in BLACK SATIN for ALL THREE COLORS. There is a stand up ruffle that goes around the neck and part way down the front. There is also a satin ruffle that trims the hem of the LONG SLEEVE and goes up the side slit of the sleeve. The besom pockets are also in the black satin as are the covered buttons. The jacket is also fully lined in satin. The approx. length for the XS is 23 inches. The colors are VIOLET, IVORY and BLACK. The Ivory and the Violet jackets look wonderful with the Violet/Black and Ivory/Black Hounds Tooth skirts from the last show, [look at photo above of the Violet combination]. Also, for dressier events, the jackets look fabulous over the sequin dress that will be shown on PM Style, Monday night on the 19th. In the photo above I have the Violet jacket over the Violet sequin dress.

There is also a matching TEXTURED WEAVE SKIRT to match each jacket…..in Violet, Ivory and Black. A229714 is the style number. It has a back zip and is approx. 24 inches long. What makes this skirt even more interesting is the little peplum set in at the back hem of the skirt……just to make it a little flirtatious! The skirt is fully lined in the same satin as the jacket. It is a wonderful companion to the jacket or a terrific skirt with just a Whisper Knit sweater. I know you will come up with many ways to wear both items. The jacket looks fabulous with a black tank and black leggings or jeans…..switch into a sequin tank and you are ready for any special occasion. Wear any of them over any LITTLE BLACK DRESS. This is the perfect suit for a second wedding or the MOB or MOG. There is always a good reason to own a special dressier jacket for all the occasions that spring up. First, Jac and I want to thank all of you for keeping us in your prayers! We appreciate it very much. We still don’ have cable, so no phones, no TV, no phones, no Internet…..no blogging no sneak peeks. You may be asking how I am posting now….. because I have a very smart wife! We both have I phones, she just got hers and has already mastered it. I’ve had mine for over a year and can barely make a call…. Until SANDY! Necessity IS the mother of invention and everyday I learn something new. Today it was how to get on my web site. I will be giving you all the important info, but I will not be answering questions as it is to difficult on
This little phone and I am so busy with the house damage and QVC appearances coming up. I lost 1/3 of my sea wall that protects my house from the sea. I had 2 feet of sea water in my basement!…….Fish baby lobsters sea weed an all! I had a wonderful company called Servpro come in and clean it out….they did a great job!
My next appearances are: Nov.16, 6am, Nov 17th, 8am and Nov. 19th PM Style it will be all the new things you have been seeing.
I know many of you already know the entire shipment of WK was destroyed in the storm. They were in a warehouse that was totally flooded. Needless to say we were all so disappointed. The good news is… We are trying to manufacture a new group, but they won’t be avail before March. Every cloud has a silver lining.

“November Whisper Knit #2” is A229721, the Kimono cardigan. The colors are……….BLACK…………IVORY…………….WALNUT……………….FUCHSIA………………..The cardigan is approx. 27 inches long and it has a 3/4 length sleeve. Yes, the WALNUT Whisper Knit will match all of your other walnut pieces. This is a relaxed garment but by no means is it over sized, so I would recommend you ordering your normal size. There are no buttons on this cardigan….it is very easy and wonderful as a year long garment. The other sweaters in the photos are all new and there will be sneak peeks on each one. This is similar to but not exactly like the kimono sweater with the emb. from seasons passed. If you loved that sweater you will love this one too. Now you have seen the two cardigans in this new WK group. They are very different in shape and attitude and I think will be an asset to anyone’s wardrobe. Again, these are great autumn, winter, spring and summer sweaters. They can be casual or dressy and can be accessorized accordingly. They also look great belted. As you all know, these WK pieces are perfect for travel as they are easy care and take little room when packed in your luggage. Remember these will not be a part of any show! “November Whisper Knit #1” is A229715, THE ESSENTIAL CARDIGAN. I felt this was the right sweater to start the NEW WHISPER KNIT PROGRAM off with, because this is a cardigan many of you wanted me to bring back. You all remember the A217628 cardigan that sold out, had a huge waiting list and was never to been seen again. For some reason?????? it had a return rate that just went over the limit for it to become a reorder, but as I said the wait listers held on, got it and kept it. So for those that returned it…..this is the same cardigan…..NOTHING has changed, so you can save yourselves the aggravation by ordering and returning it again. For those of you who LOVED it and pleaded for me to bring it back…..it took lots of cajoling on my part to convince the buyers you really wanted it. It is EXTREMELY rare if ever that a discarded style is ever brought back exactly as the original……hence the new A number. When I say EXACTLY, I mean down to the button…..all the measurements were kept the same including the 26 inch length, and of course it is in the RAYON/NYLON WHISPER KNIT you all have fallen in love with …..for good reasons. The colors this go around are…………………….BLACK……………..VIOLET………………NAVY……………….TEAL………………and YES, the Violet and Teal will match your new Violet and Teal pieces. If you look at the QVC video of the HTC skirt…..Angela is wearing the Violet cardigan over an Ivory, short sleeve, scoop neck WK sweater [a new one coming in the program], the Violet jacket and the Violet/Black HTC skirt……..super CHIC………………..Please, also notice the new “Whisper Knit” label. From now on every sweater made in this particular Rayon/Nylon blend will have the “Whisper Knit” label. Do not be fooled by wannabees. There are many qualities of these yarns blended together………….the operative word being QUALITY. There are many different grades of yarn….the cheaper yarns are short fibers and will pill badly. The long fibers are kept for the best grade and are superior in every way. This holds true for all yarns especially CASHMERE. Think of it this way…..short yarns….short ends….frizz [pills]………long yarns……..undamaged ends……silky and smooth.

This is the first sneak peek of  “8” new styles in this Nov. program. Since this entire group will be sold “ON LINE ONLY”!!!! be on the look out. I am thinking mid to end Nov., but if I get any news you will be the first to know!

I can’t believe I was supposed to go down to QVC for a 4am show on Tues.!!!!
