……………….COTTON JERSEY from ITALY was a fabric staple of my Anne Klein RESORT 1991 collection….It was light weight and silky to the touch….great against the body…..Easy shapes, cool to wear, easy care and easy to pack for summer vacations was a winning combination…..A V-neck camisole with a matching cardigan, worn with white trousers was a good example of American sportswear…something Anne Klein truly created as we know it today……A white turtle neck halter dress is paired with a match white “boyfriend” blazer, and the hooded funnel neck backless dress in navy had just enough glamor for more casual summer evenings…….FISH accessories….belts and earrings finished the looks……..Ready for a dinner out at a sea side restaurant!

……………….This past Wednesday I had a wonderful lunch with two old friends…….Able and Tina……I actually went to Parsons School of Design with Able….so I know Abel since 1967…that’s ions ago!…..I met Tina through my personal assistant and PR gal, Connie….so that was during my Anne Klein days….also ions ago….we were all young and fabulous….LOL…Abel tried his hand at a design career, but became a model’s booker taking care of many models….Jac was one of the models he took care of….Tina had a very varied career….she worked for Vogue magazine and for Ralph Lauren….among other jobs and career moves…..Abel arranged this luncheon at a restaurant named……ROBERT’S……It is located at 2 Columbus Circle in NYC in a high rise building….The views are incredible of Columbus and Central Park…..The building also is the home of the…..”THE MUSEUM OF ARTS & DESIGN”….a wonderful small museum….definitely worth visiting after lunch!…..As you can see!…..Tina did NOT want her picture taken so she turned her head every time I tried to sneak a picture!!…..We had a lot of reminiscing to do, and we never stopped talking….It was like we tried to get a lifetime into one lunch!

………………….The restaurant is really lovely, and I highly recommend it…..Reservations are required…..We basically closed the lunch service, so the tables are not yet made up for dinner…..Abel’s doctor owns the restaurant!…..and sent over two complimentary deserts. The prices are very reasonable for a NY restaurant, and they offered a prix fix meal that was three courses with a good selection…..There is a beautiful black grand piano, but I’m not sure when the pianist plays…Even though the restaurant was fully booked the noise level was low so we could easily converse!….We had a great table right at the window…with the best view!. The upper left photo is from a post card the restaurant makes available of the night time view from the restaurant of Columbus Circle……Truly a New York experience!………..We promised to meet up again….maybe at my home!

………………I’m sorry if this offends anyone…..NOT……but you really have to have a sense of humor!………This is the first time since this man has taken office that he has given me something TO LAUGH ABOUT! Everyone is doing the “CHICKEN DANCE”!….Come on….you have to admit it’s funny….I’m sure there are plenty of MAGA folks in the privacy of their own homes……who are laughing too!!!

…………….I don’t think I have ever seen any president….I REPEAT…..ANY PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES being ridiculed like this one…….This is his legacy………No one will ever forget the……….”TACO MAN”!
