……………..You all know I am inspired by foreign cultures…..The craftsmanship and artisanship these different people have created around the globe over the centuries is true and honest. The technique of “wood block” design is one of the oldest methods of printing…Today we can reproduce the look of real wood block printing through the artisanship of master screen makers. The PLACEMENT ENGINEERED print has the look of patchwork utilizing four different patterns including the paisley border, and a streak of Turquoise to separate them….This print and border is the type often seen in INDIA….The color above is a clear BLUE with accents of TURQUOISE and WHITE….The 94% RAYON and 6% SPANDEX tunic is approx. 29 inches long for the XXS. The sleeves are 3/4 length and also have the paisley border….The V-neck is piped in the print…..There are very generous side slits so you don’t have to hike the garment up to get your hands into your pant pockets…This jersey has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel flimsy or clingy as others do. Of course when you take it out of the plastic bag there may be some static which often happens, but that can easily be taken care of…..Jac used to apply moisturizer to her legs to avoid any clinging…..a model’s trick………..The combination of the print, inspired by India, and the ELEPHANT PENDANT with TURQUOISE TABLETS, J488259, are truly perfectly paired together. The Elephant has decorative markings that can often be seen on Elephants during special ceremonies in India….Adding the TURQUOISE TABLET necklace and earring, J488255, isn’t necessary, but it looks so FABULOUS together….It’s also a fabulous separate necklace to be worn on its’ own or with other pieces you may have….like American Indian jewelry. The tablets are made from reconstituted Turquoise…..For those of you, like me, who have to take the extra step to make it even more wonderful….add the GLITTERATI TURQUOISE necklace, J482966! …………..If you have ever traveled to India, or have just seen pictures of India, one of the things you are immediately struck by is the beautiful COLOR OF INDIA……Warmer climates tend to use brighter colors, and combine them with great imagination. Women of India are not shy about wearing vivid colors, and are taught at a very young age how to combine and wear these colors. It becomes second nature….RED mixed with HOT PINK is often seen in Saris, sometimes shot with metallic threads. The red of the print is neither orange nor blue, but a clear beautiful color that balances well with the hot pink. The RED or the WHITE NUGGET JEWELRY looks fabulous with this top as well as the IVORY ELEPHANT and IVORY TABLET pieces……There are many pieces of Linea jewelry that will “play” well with the print….I’ve paired it with the off white fluid beach pant for a very cool relaxed look. A351462 and A351460 are the style numbers for the reg. and petite lengths… If you own the slim red pant they too would look fabulous with the top for a completely different look! ………………………….For those of you who prefer a more neutral pallet I have created the EBONY, KHAKI and WHITE color combination. This colorway really shows the intricacy of the print. There are areas of the print that are very finely done and areas that are blurred, as if the wood blocks that were used were old  and worn with age. For me, this gives the print the character I wanted. It looks more like an old textile found in a Souk……Black, and White are the obvious bottom options, but a tan, khaki, or a linen color, such as my ponte crop pant can all work well……..A Short Story……When I designed this print I also designed the MOROCCAN JEWELRY, J477433, to go with this print. It is a perfect reproduction of a necklace Jac bought in Morocco….Of course she had to wear it immediately….The color of the antique brass beads and the black beads blend perfectly with the print…….Well, plans don’t always come to fruition the way we would like them to. The necklace and earring set was presented and sold much before this print tunic was ordered and made……However, it was Kismet that the two should finally come together at this time, and you can see my vision as it was always planned…….The necklace and earring “set” is also at an unbelievable clearance price of $19.99…….You can’t do better than that, and at that price you can get two to layer as I have done above…………………..enjoy………………..much Love………………………Louis

…………………………..At first glance you may think this is a lace fabric…….IT IS NOT!………….Its’ Floral pattern is entirely EMBROIDERED ONTO TULLE………It has a V-neckline which is piped to the hem. There are FOUR ELASTIC LOOPS and BUTTONS, and the sleeve is BRACELET length. There are PRINCESS SEAMS for shape. This is NOT a boxy jacket. The length of the XXS is approx 32 inches, so this is sort of a topper length or for many FINGER TIP. The bottom is finished with an embroidered scallop…. I have chosen to show it with a black tank, and white pants, but you can also wear any column of color, and wear the black jacket over it. For a  LBD [or any color dress], this would be a perfect cover up. Thought the sleeve is sheer there is still enough coverage to give you the confidence you need…….This is one of those collectors items that when the need comes up you will be glad you have it…….Other ways to wear it is with a short or long skirt. You could even wear it with a long sleeve top, with the mentioned long skirt and boots in the colder months! Don’t think this can only be worn as a dressy piece. Going out for lunch with the girls? Where it with a white tank and white or any color jean. Sandals, wedges or clogs will finish the look…… Above, I have used the BLACK JET GLITTERATI NECKLACE and the BLACK JET and PEARL MOON GLOW NECKLACE…..If you own the black jet Tassel necklace that would work in combination with these necklaces or on its’ own…..The PEARL & JET BRACELET works perfectly!…………..This is a special piece, and these fabrics are not easy to fine……they are like a needle in a haystack…..I just have to search!………………….enjoy……………much Love…………….Louis
