…………………..Reviews are in on the Gypsy Coin Necklace, J485284, and all of them are FIVE STAR, and for good reason……..The quality of this necklace as well as the coordinating Gypsy Coin Earring, J485282, is SUPERB!…….The construction of this necklace is very intricate, and very time consuming………….First…..each coin is plated SEPARATELY, and there are certain sizes and numbers of coins that have to be plated in certain colors, so each coin in each color on the necklace has to be counted out so it can be assembled correctly!………Each bale that the coins are attached to are plated SEPARATELY………Then the right COLOR and SIZE coin has to be attached to the right COLOR and SIZE bale as they vary. Since the spacer beads are of DIFFERENT DESIGNS when the necklace is assembled the correct beads between EACH COIN must always be the same………Likewise the placement of the COINS on each row must always be the same! It is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together!!!!! Each person who is assembling a necklace has to have a finished sample in front of them so they can put the necklace together that they are working on exactly as the sample in front of them!!!! Ladies, think about it…..this is time consuming work. It would have been so much easier to have the coin and the bale made all in one piece, and to plate them one color, but a lot IMHO would have been lost in the final result………So the next time you reach for this incredible necklace take a good look at it, and think about ALL of the SEPARATE pieces that have to be assembled CORRECTLY…..the right size and color bale with the right size and color coin…..then WHERE the coins go on each row, and counting the amount of beads in the right order of the design of the beads in between each coin! Now you begin to realize what it is that you are wearing around your neck……I can tell you NO OTHER jewelry on QVC, or for that matter in any retail store is selling anything nearly as complicate as this GYPSY COIN NECKLACE……and certainly not at this price…………..The earring is not a simple affair either, as the same process has to be done to make it…………..When I say this is a collectors item…..those are not idle words. I will not reorder these pieces because I want them to be exclusive, and I want them in the years ahead to increase in value as much as my original Anne Klein “Couture” jewelry has……..If you already own it please leave your reviews as I know from sales that many more women own it than have reviewed it……..It only takes a minute, and it is the only feed back I get which is important to me as I develop new styles………..If you have not purchased it, all I will say is it won’t be around forever, and this is a piece to give serious consideration to……………………………enjoy……………………….much Love…………………………………Louis
