……………………………..Buttercream……………is the newest color I am adding to the extensive Linea pallet……….Is it in the yellow family?…..yes……but is it a classic yellow?……no……….Imagine taking melted butter and mixing it with heavy cream!……Voila…….BUTTERCREAM…..It diminishes the yellow and brings out the cream. It becomes a very neutral color….similar to the way you wear alabaster..I created a column of color by adding the Buttercream MATTE SATIN TANK TUNIC, A374664, due in Feb. With that the new BUTTERCREAM Super Ponte pant in you favorite style, A268216…..The FAUX SUEDE JACKET, A3744426 is simply yummy, and a beautiful season-less jacket….I can’t think of a classic bottom color you can’t wear it with………You can also accessorize it as you wish. If you are wearing the tonal Buttercream S. Ponte Pant, anything goes…like the MIDAS necklace in GOLD and TIGER EYE …If you are wearing a color pant, like Loden, then accessorize with a companion piece like the olive Carnival necklace, the Fern necklace, J479227 or the Olive Berber necklace, J392832, to pull it all together. ………………………The BIG DEAL jacket will be avail in LODEN. It is the same color as the Loden Trench coat, so it will coordinate with all of your Loden and moss pieces. I’ve chosen to do the WK Mock Neck in the MOSS which is lighter in color than the Loden. The two together have a nice tonal effect. The Mock Neck also works perfectly with your Moss plaid blazers. I know many of you were asking for a WK sweater that could work, and this does beautifully…………….Your OLIVE Carnival necklace and your Chatelaine necklace and brooch add just the right touch…………………

How many years have we sung this song on New Years? I’ve always found it to be a some what melancholy song. “Should auld acquaintance be forgot?”….”Auld lang syne” [time goes by]….. and “we’ll tak a cup o kindness yet”, saluting friends, and remembering the good times of the past, and the friendships we have made that have come and gone….and most of all to be kind………2020 holds the promise of the future, and the good things that may come, but we also have to brace ourselves to face and deal with the times that are challenging……and pray that we can meet those challenges with grace and courage……..I guess I am feeling nostalgic for places and friends from the past who have come into my life and have given me so much joy, only to have had to go, and leave me with my memories…. wonderful memories………..The older I get I can’t help but have a heavy heart when thinking of all the beautiful people who have meant  so much to me, and are no longer with me……………….I also wonder about the many Linea Ladies who have been such shining lights, and strong voices over the last twenty years, and are not heard from anymore. They are in my thoughts, and I thank them for their friendship……I hope they are all well!………..I drink a cup of kindness to all of you, and pray 2020 will bring you all joy, and the courage to face whatever may come your way………………much Love………………..Louis

…………………………….The MIDAS NECKLACE, J485288, and the MIDAS CUFF, J485286, were developed to go with my new BIG DEAL JACKETS, but they are so versatile they will work with anything. The NECKLACE has multi strands of small GOLD BUGLE BEADS interspersed with round beads, in this case TIGER EYE BEADS. QVC calls it Tortoise, but it is Tiger Eye. As with all Tiger Eye the color of each bead varies with its’ golden brown colors. The necklace and cuff are as light as a feather. All of the strands are connected at the back and fit into a golden cap. There is a Lobster Claw closing with an extender chain. so you can adjust it for different necklines……..The cuff is a series of bugle bead rings again, decorated with Tiger Eye beads. All of the rings are connected to bars in the back with little dingle dangles hanging from the bars….just for fun. The cuff is very flexible so it is easy to get on and off. Again, it too is very light weight. I have chosen the “Classic Hoop Earring” to coordinate with the necklace. These are wonderful easy to wear, go with everything hoops, and are very comfortable in both pierced and clip versions……….Season-less jewelry is always a great investment……………………enjoy……………………..much Love……………………..Louis
