……………………The DRAPE NECK MOSS CREPE TOP, A341728, has an asymmetric neckline. In the close up photo, middle picture, second column from the left, you can clearly see the stitched down tucks that form the drapes, creating a soft draped neckline. The top has long sleeves, and a slightly shaped body. The length for the XXS is approx. 23 1/2 inches long. This is a wonderful separate top to be worn tucked in or worn out with the matching bottoms as well as many prints and contrast colors……….It is also a wonderful top under jackets of all kinds…….I love it under my IVORY BLAZER with Black pants, and the new JEWELRY!

…………………..The DRAPE PULL-ON SKIRT, A341729, for the Regular length, and A341730 for the Petite length. It is a four panel skirt which enables the skirt to have even drapes all the way around. The Reg. is approx. 35 inches for the xxs from the top of the waist band down to the hem….The silhouette is slim-ish at the top, and sweeps out at the bottom. There is controlled fullness over the hips. This is not a big sweeping skirt. I would say it’s graceful with just enough room at the bottom to create a beautiful coning effect. The proportions of this skirt can be worn with many different tops….from super short to tunic lengths. It’s the perfect JACKET SKIRT….from jean jackets to blazers..This skirt will be featured THIS FRIDAY at 6:00pm on QVC2. Jennifer will be hosting a full hour show with Nancy. This is her first full hour, so I hope many of you can be there to support her. She is confident and knows her stuff, but I’m sure she’s a wee bit nervous!

…………………..The GAUZE CREPE PULL-ON CROP PANT, A341736, for the Reg. length, and A341737, for the Petite. Sizing will range from xxs to 3x. It has a multi stitched waist band, and there are POCKETS!. The inseam for the regular length is approx. 26 inches with an approx. 8 inch leg opening on the half, or a 16 inch circumference. Due to the Gauze Crepe it is a very soft fluid pant. Wear it right now with sandals, espadrilles and wedges, and later with tights and boots…..very versatile!

………………….The jewelry above is new for Fall……..The MALTESE CROSS, and the COMPANION BEAD NECKLACE, J357132, in the GOLD OX color only. YES, you read it correctly. The Maltese Cross and the Bead necklace are being sold as a set, because that is the way I like them worn. Of course they can be worn separately and mixed with other pieces that are coming. The cross has a Merlot cabochon round domed stone at the center surrounded by small seed pearls. On the four ends of the cross are FAUX ONYX square cut domed stones. The design of the metal work enhances the piece. The top from which the chain hangs swivels, and has a single Merlot cabochon round stone. All of the stones in the companion necklace are made in RESIN. If they were in glass the necklace sold by itself would be triple the price, and could never be sold as a set…..The “LOOK” is there, and no one would know. The resin also keeps the necklace very light in weight!…..These designs come from Anne Klein archives, and as you can see, are timeless. The look of the two together is quite regal….and the total effect is SUPERB!

My philosophy of dressing has always been about sophistication, about looking MODERN, and classic at the same time. I am as far away from “funky” as you can get…..Sophistication is not necessarily something you are born with, but it is something you can learn………That is my job. To give you the options to put a full proof wardrobe together with accessories that complete the look….I always felt that this is part of a designer’s job…..It is part of my responsibility to educate and expose you to sophisticated clothes……This is something I had to learn also……As a young boy growing up on Long Island the word “sophistication” was not part of my vocabulary……..When I went to Parsons School of Design I had wonderful teachers who exposed me, and opened my world to the finer points of dressing, and living…..it’s all connected. I devoured Fashion magazines. Unfortunately, most Fashion magazines today aren’t worth a nibble! As I grew in the business, every day I learned more and more, eventually to become the designer I am today……I have always said not everything I design is for everyone.  For me, this statement is more about body types, and not about a taste level. I have read often, “I think it’s beautiful, but it’s not for me.” That is OK. There will always be something that will suit you. I only ask you keep an open mind and give things that you’re not sure about a try. You may be pleasantly surprised. …………………………..DARK TEAL……………….is a very new color for Linea. I don’t often do teal, and when I do it has to be very saturated. The full length photo to the left is the most accurate for color. It also looks very good with the Navy/Green ombre print top…coming in July….As for shoes and boots, black, dark brown, and burgundy would all work…………The Necklace is new this fall, and is very unique. I call it the “HARP” necklace…..J357131 is the style number…… It doesn’t come with an earring, but there are many that will work…..This was also from the Anne Klein archives. I must say I have never seen the original AK piece offered anywhere. It was a collectors item then and it will be again. It is very limited, and is only avail as you see it……………….enjoy……………much Love………………….Louis

…………………………….Last, but definitely not least……..the Moss Crepe Pieces in BLACK……………I don’t care how many pieces you own in black….these two are MUST HAVES! As separate pieces the options of how you can wear them are infinite. As a two piece dress it is FABULOUS. Something you can count on for any and every occasion……….Wear the skirt with EVERYTHING YOU OWN…..fall, winter, spring and summer!…….Same story for this black top. Wear it with jeans, Capri pants or white trousers or shorts right now. Push the sleeves up and wear my wide wire cuff!…..OK, I know your eyes are POPPING for this new BOLO and EARRING SET, J357121, in the RUSSIAN GOLD above. The Y piece where all the BLACK CORDS and GOLD CHAINS come together is a SLIDE, meaning you can adjust where you want it to sit according to what you are wearing. The metal organic beads and bone pieces are all beautifully done….I love the edginess of the necklace with the femininity, and yes, sexiness of the top  .In a word this necklace and earring set is SUPERB…………….and yes, it will come in other colors……………………………………enjoy……………………….much Love…………………………Louis

……………………..As many of you know TCJC is the jewelry company that I work with. They are in charge of producing my designs. They have a stellar reputation, and in the past have worked with many of the best lines QVC has offered such as Noland Miller and Kenneth J. Lane………As you also know they stand behind their product, and as a courtesy to the clients, they are willing to make repairs and even re-plate their products if possible, at no additional cost to you. The Linea client, only has  a small return shipping fee to pay. TCJC is not obligated in any way to offer this service……….It has very recently been brought to my attention that product has been sent to them, with a Louis Dell’Olio tag, to be repaired, which was not made by them. How do we know this, because the necklace sent was never produced by them or sold at QVC. Where this necklace came from is a mystery to all, but the sender knows that she did not purchase it from QVC. It is TCJC’s policy to only fix Linea product that was sold by QVC, since QVC is Linea’s only selling outlet. They will not be responsible for items bought from ebay, Amazon or any other retail outlet since they did not ship items to them and can not be responsible. I think it is a shame that a few can tarnish this good will, and possibly bring a wonderful situation to an end. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. TCJC is still deciding how to handle this, and if they continue to provide this service, they may require a copy of a bill of sale proving the item was indeed purchased from QVC. It does not make me happy to type this note to you, but it is my obligation to you and to TCJC to do so………………sincerely, Louis

……………………………The PEBBLE CREPE TUNIC, A288390, is back and this time around we are offing this style in PETITES, A311557!!!!! YEAH!!!!! You may or you may not not the guide lines for what constitutes a reorder. First, naturally the sales must be very good. Secondly, and just as important, the returns must be very LOW! This tunic, to my surprise met both criteria…..Why surprised? because this is a very special “designer garment”. This tunic is ALL ABOUT the LONG LENGTH and the VOLUME!…….So right off the bat a percentage of women are not interested. Designer garments are often about pushing the envelope. It’s about creating something extreme that will appeal to a certain taste level, and a limited amount of women. Due to the long length and volume of this tunic I really thought the appeal would be some what restricted. As I always say, “not every garment is for everyone”, nor should they be. To my delight this tunic was met with a large group of women who fell in love with THE LENGTH and the VOLUME! It’s all about the EXTREME and pushing the ENVELOPE.

With that said, I am happy to say I will be bringing this PEBBLE CREPE TUNIC back in BLACK, and THREE NEW COLORS…….the first being TEAL. This is not a color I do often and it has been years since the last Teal garments were offered…………..Pebble Crepe takes color very well, and the Teal is very deep and saturated. The Black tunic above is with the Black Pebble Crepe pant, A288391, that many of you own, and is still avail……..The Teal is paired with a brand new CREPE GAUZE CROP PANT, A341736 for reg. and A341737 for petite [also in black]. More petites ladies! The color of the two fabrics blends perfectly…..a MIRACLE!…………….I know when the words VOLUME or LONG are used some of you RUN FOR THE HILLS! I say give it a try, you may be as surprised as I was when I heard one of my favorite tunics was reordered……….OK, the Elephant in the room…..the new NECKLACE and EARRING set….J357121…..Ladies this is something SO SPECIAL and SO UNIQUE…I don’t this it will last very long…..I call it my BOLO necklace. I think QVC refers to it as a LARIAT, both are correct…..It is made of CORDS and METAL CHAINS that gather together and pass through this very unique metal SLIDE. From the cords and chains hang these very beautiful beads in different sizes. Some are very small and some are larger, and some look like either pieces of bamboo or bones!……The colors above are the SILVER OX on the right, and GOLD on the left, both with black cords. It is due to be avail. some mystery time this month….LOL…………………..I know some of you will opt for the petite length even though you are not petite in stature or height….All I can say to that is remember the look of the garment is all about the length and the volume, but the option is there so go with what you are most comfortable. Perhaps you might want to consider one color in the regular length and another in the petite for two different looks………….something to ponder……….but don’t ponder too long as these tunics are avail right NOW to order!………………..enjoy……………….much Love……………………….Louis
