……………………………FINALLY!!!!!!!! It only took EIGHT YEARS and SEVEN BUYERS to finally get a buyer to agree to buy these pants!!!!!! You would think I was asking them to buy the Hope Diamond!!! I sometimes think the SOPHISTICATION of the LINEA WOMAN is underestimated, or that you are not willing to spend more for something super special. I truly can not recall one item that the price was not justified, and more times then not was more than reasonable….There are times when leisure clothes are just not appropriate………………….The pant will be offered in two lengths, A343617 for the regular length which I believe is approx 32 inches, and A343618 for the petite length………What makes these pants truly beautiful is the size of the sequin, and the coverage. They are BABY, TINY sequins. I don’t believe sequins are made any smaller. By using this size sequin all you see is the glittering effect they give, and not big shiny discs. Sometimes larger sequins, for certain garments, are more desirable, but for a separate pant I find the tiny sequins more expensive looking. They are sewn onto a very light weight knit fabric so there is a lot of stretch, and literally weightless. They are fully lined also in a knit fabric, and the waist band too is in a knit fabric, so there will be no scratching on the skin…….The leg is easy, but does tapper slightly. The large BLOW UP picture of the sequins shows you just how small the sequins are…………..When and where and how you wear these pants is up to you and your personal style. I am willing to bet you have MANY MANY things in your possession right now that would look great with BLACK SEQUIN PANTS…….For example…..a white wing or button down cotton shirt, a beautiful ivory blouse, a georgette black or ivory peasant top, just the right print top, a sweater in ANY STYLE or COLOR, a dressy hoodie, a jean jacket, a blazer, a Chanel type jacket, a boucle jacket…..maybe you own the one with the pearl and ribbon trim or one of my many ivory or black crepe vintage Linea jackets…..How about a NEW TUXEDO JACKET, like the one above coming in Nov!!!!!!!! I really could go on and on and on. The possibilities are endless. If you think about what you would wear a solid black pant with, just substitute it with the black sequin pant, and see if it makes sense to you. I’m sure with the right accessories you can make a sequin pant look great with anything……….These are NOT PONTE PANTS….meaning they are not IRON. They should be treated with care. I would not recommend sitting on a wicker or rough surface. The sequins are attached with thread and you don’t want to snag them. You can hang them, but I would keep two plastic bags over them like dry cleaner bags. Why TWO? It’s an old trick I learned at AK when we would pack up clothes for a fashion show in an outside venue. First, you put one plastic bag over the garment, and slit it up one side so it doesn’t crush the garment. Then you put the second one on top and slit it up on the THE OPPOSITE SIDE. This allows air circulation, and as I said, it doesn’t crush or hold in the garment . If you prefer to fold them and store in a draw then make sure there is tissue paper between each fold so the sequins aren’t up against each other. When traveling you should do the same thing with the tissue paper. This may seem like a lot of care, but the better you treat them the longer they will be there fore you……..These pants can be worn all year…..Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Think of all the events that come up during a year that you can wear a black sequin pant…….weddings, parties, engagements, special events…..you will never be wondering…”what can I wear”…..and they are super COMFORTABLE!…..In closing I will say, everyone who has seen them, every model and host, even the buyer! wants them. Word spread around QVC about these sequin pants…..You would think they WERE the Hope Diamond! The quantity is not big, and I will be shocked if they don’t sell out in a nano second, so I hope all of you who are interested get them. I really don’t want to hear about “back orders” and “wait lists” for my Linea Women!………They will be shown on my Oct. 3rd, 10:00am show on the main channel……………………….enjoy……………………….much Love………………………..Louis
