……………………….The Safari Shirt and Boho skirt is new in the Lilac Mist. A beautiful subtle color that has the look of pressed flowers……Another of Jac’s favorite flowers are the LILACS….We couldn’t have enough Lilac bushes as far as Jac was concerned. As soon as the bushes along the driveway bloomed, Jac would go out and smell them at every opportunity. Every time Jac parked her car she would stop to smell the Lilacs. I know I have mentioned it before that Jac would not allow me to cut a single flower to bring into the house for her. She didn’t want her bushes hurt in any way. Lilacs are special flowers. They bloom in profusion, and fill the air with their wonderful scent, but they are also very fragile and their season is short……The flowers have a short life, but a glorious one!………Then you have to patiently wait another year to enjoy their blossoms again…..Many have tried to capture the beautiful scent of Lilacs in perfume, but no one can put Mother Nature successfully in a bottle…….My Lilac bushes are starting to bud right now…..They fill me with sweet memories…..This spring, as soon as the weather gets warmer, I plan to plant two more bushes on the other side of the drive way, and maybe along the fence on the inside yard where the girls run and play……. I know Jac would like it…………..The new Beach Glass Nugget Necklace and Earring set, J353997, is the PERFECT compliment….The colors in the necklace and earring are a combination of Dusty Rose and Lilac. There are a variety of shapes, sizes and colors done in clear and frosted resin. This set comes from my archives, and is a necklace I did at Anne Klein many many years ago. ……………………..Caneel Blue is another new color being introduced in the Safari Shirt with tank and the Boho skirt. It is a color I have used only twice in the past…..a jacket and an accent in a Stone/Caneel WK sweater. Everyone loved this color, and many have asked me to repeat it. It may not be exactly the Caneel of the past, but it’s very close. Again, the new Nugget Beach Glass Necklace and Earring was made to coordinate, but it goes with so much more……………….enjoy………………..much Love……………………………Louis
……………..Anything in the KHAKI/TAUPE range are difficult colors to achieve. They can come out too yellow and sometimes too pink…..I think this one hits the nail on the head!. Most of the pictures show the Safari shirt with the accompanying tank, and the Boho skirt…….except for the two photos at the upper left. There is a tunic and crop pant, both with chiffon borders, in a color I call “Dusk”. It is slightly deeper than the Khaki, but still tonal…They illustrate another way to mix these pieces…….Again, the Beach Glass Nugget necklace and earring set will be avail in Khaki. There are different Khaki colors, shapes and sizes, and some are clear and some frosted to give a nice variation to the pieces. You will find it blends with lots of things……Khaki is a terrific spring/summer shade transitioning right into fall and winter…….enjoy………………..much Love………………..Louis
