…………………In the ever growing world of Whisper Knit, I thought a fabulous PONCHO, A282513, would be the perfect addition. The poncho is in the MEDIUM WEIGHT ENR construction. It will be avail in FOUR SIZES…………XS/SM……M/L…….XL/1X…….2X/3X……I have the M/L poncho on my form. The form is a size 4/6 or xxs. I don’t think you should order the poncho as a matter of XS/SM, M/L etc. etc. It’s more a matter of how you want your Poncho to LOOK, and what you can carry. A smaller person may want the XS/S, but if they are tall, and slender they may prefer more coverage an a more dramatic look so instead of the xs/s, the m/l , as I have on my form, would be more to her liking. On the other hand a larger women might want a smaller size because she can’t deal with too much fabric. What I’m trying to say badly, is if you are a short plus you may want the xs/sm because of the body length, and the length down the arm might work better for you. If you are tall and a plus the larger sizes would work better. If you are tall and thin or avarage you could go either way with the xs/sm or the med./lg. Again, it’s more about the “LOOK” than the fit or size……..When I show the poncho I will try to show different sizes so you get a better idea of how they look. As I said, my samples are all M/L, so the photos above illustrate how it would look on a smaller person. Basically it comes down to the elbow or just below for the M/L. It is approx. 38-39 inches wide and 29-30 inches long………It has been my experience that knits especially ENR knits tend to hang a little longer on the body than the flat measurement…that’s the reason for the two numbers……………………The color above is……..CAMEL with Black borders at the neckline and at the hem. You can layer it as much or as little as you like. The colder the weather the more layers. Above, I have it over the BLACK MOSS CREPE GAUCHO PANT, A273865, for a very modern “fashionista” look. I also have it over the BLACK PONTE SLIM PANT, A265615, and the BLACK WK TN, A72448. The WHITE KATE COTTON SHIRT, A214116,  gives the camel and black an EXCLAMATION, [love this look]……the Black TN adds another layer of warmth. On another figure it is just over the WK TN, A72448, and the WK BLACK MILANO KNIT SKIRT, A273880………The sides of the poncho are completely open so it would be easy to carry a shoulder bag under the PONCHO if you chose…..or you could even wear it over a coat or jacket………Flung over one shoulder is very dramatic, and keeps your arms free…..great when you go into a store……..For another look…wear it HALF BELTED leaving the back unbelted to flow freely………The Camel Poncho is the perfect background for the BLACK LACQUER TRAPEZE NECKLACE, J331644, The GOLD or GUNMETAL RIBBON RING NECKLACE, J331643, or the new TIGER EYE PENDANT. There are so many jewelry pieces in the Linea Jewelry arsenal that would look fantastic on this camel poncho…….CAMEL….BLACK….and WHITE have always been a favorite color combination of mine. It says CLASS, SOPHISTICATION, THOROUGHBRED……..It has a TIMELESS quality that always looks dramatic, but in a quiet way…………………………………………………..

…………………………SCARLET RED…………..has fast become one of my most successful colors of the season……and the PONCHO seemed to be the perfect garment to do in this beautiful color. It could be said it’s very SWASHBUCKLING……..Trimming it in Black makes it easy to pair with the many things you already own………All SCARLETS in the WK will match…..so if you already bought the Scarlet Red TN, A72448….it will match. If you plan on buying the Scarlet Red WK skirt, A253411, it will match. If you plan on buying the reorder Scarlet Red TN Swing Sweater, it will too will match. There are so many ways to wear a Poncho and I’m sure you know many. ………………………..PURE, CLEAN and SOPHISTICATED…………………..BLACK with HEATHER CHARCOAL GREY TRIM is the third and last color being offered in the PONCHO, A282513. I would love the KATE white shirt worn under the black and grey or the matching W Knits in H.C.G…..the TN….the WK skirt in addition to the Super Ponte B.C.Pant. The C.H Grey LINEA BODY TIGHTS and LEGGINGS all will work wonderfully with this fabulous poncho….The new PINSTRIPE SOCKS, A283073, with the Slim Pants, A265615, and a pair of ballet flats will just look darn cute…………GUNMETAL ACCESSORIES are subtly chic……The BAR NECKLACE is still avail in the Gunmetal……It’s the only color left and there are very few at that……………………………………..

………………I think by now it is well established that the Whisper Knit Swing style has been a very successful silhouette, and the TURTLE NECK SWING IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER IN ALL COLORS!!! “The Swing” style has sold extremely well in the BALLET NECK, the CARDIGAN, the TURTLE NECK, and there are two new styles coming….the VEE and one other [a secret]. The Turtleneck, A268137, is a reorder and was first presented last fall in Black, Magenta and Ivory. It was an instant sell out. The returns were so low that the buyers wanted to bring it back in SIX new colors the first being……………….SCARLET RED……………This is becoming the LINEA COLOR of the SEASON, and I know from what you have said to me, and the reviews that you all love it. It is a TRUE RED….not too blue and no orange at all….a pure pigment color. This silhouette is slimming and elongating, and for those of you with tummy and hip issues….it is also camouflaging! I realize that there are some who this style may not work for, but as I always say “not ever style is for everyone”. Since  it has worked for the greater majority it has become a successful silhouette. For those of you who own a WK turtleneck you already know how comfortable the collar is. It caresses the neck without feeling tight or falling away looking stretched out. You forget you are wear a turtleneck, which is a very good thing. The knit construction is my EVERY NEEDLE RIB, which is a much more costly way to knit a sweater then a jersey stitch, because it uses double the amount of yarn. It gives the sweater body and drape that a jersey sweater simply does not have. What I love about the ENR is that the bottom of the sweater comes off the machine FINISHED. There is no need to add a tubular trim to finish the bottom to keep it from unraveling. This means less bulk at the hem and allows the knit to drape freely………………..THE LADY IN RED……..is a look you can now achieve with ENR WK SCARLET RED PENCIL SKIRT, A284113 AVAILABLE NOW!!!….For those of you who think you can not wear a pencil skirt or a short skirt of any kind….I suggest trying the skirt with a pair of LINEA TIGHTS, A260016. ……………………PURPLE…..PURPLE……PURPLE……and what a gorgeous PURPLE it is……..fit for the Caesars of Rome and Kings of ancient lands. They were the only ones who were permitted to wear this color as it was very rare and difficult to get. It was associated with royalty, power and wealth for centuries. Queen Elizabeth the First forbade anyone except close members of the royal family to wear it. The PURPLE fabric was so outrageously expensive that only rulers could afford it. The dye initially used to make PURPLE came from the Phoenician trading city of Tyre, which is now modern day Lebanon. The dye came from a small mollusk that was only found in the Tyre region of the Mediterranean Sea……………and you thought it was only a color!……….For bottom colors I would stick to your dark basics….Black…..Navy and Charcoal Grey…..you don’t want anything to take away from this magnificent PURPLE color……Purple is definitely a mood color. It is the perfect backdrop for all of your Byzantine Linea jewelry. Gold, Silver, Gunmetal and Chocolate metals all look glorious on this PURPLE…..Chocolate metal is not expected, but wonderfully unique………..I always love PURPLE and RED together. A few yeas ago I did a paisley print skirt and top in a purple red combo….it was my favorite………….Above, I am featuring my new RED/GOLD DROP SLIDE PENDANT [no style number yet, it’s due next month]. You can adjust the drop by pulling the chain through the bean like keeper. Notice the “veins” in the drop….giving it the look of authenticity. It’s a marvelous piece that will work on so many Linea sweaters!………………PURPLE….the color of Kings and QUEENS……………………………………………………………………..
