……………………………This is a FABULOUS BLUE…………calling it blue really isn’t dramatic enough…..It’s a deep rich true SAPPHIRE…….I realize that for many of you I am asking you to step out of the box…..to step away from your comfort zone……Trust me the box can become very boring, dull and claustrophobic………………you only live ONCE so you may as well live it as a BLUE ZEBRA!!!………You will be very surprised that it wasn’t such a big step after all……it’s not like you’re walking on the MOON!………………….Mixing the Blue Zebra with Ivory and Black makes the whole look more palatable…..It really isn’t that daring at all. Compared with many of the fashion pages I have been seeing in Vogue, Harper’s and all….this looks down right calm………The new GUNMETAL MULTI CROSS NECKLACE is around her neck……………Did I mention I did this exact Zebra pattern for a Fall collection I did at Anne Klein? I had a full COLOR editorial page in the NY Times Fall Fashion section, which was a BIG deal at the time……I showed it with a black suede skirt with leather stripe appliques so the pattern  looked like the same zebra pattern as the coat…..only in black on black…….come to think of it….I showed shoe boots then too…..only the top of the boot was a thick ribbed sweater knit that rolled down to become a cuff ……what fun…………………………..Live your life as a BLUE ZEBRA and wonderful things will happen………………………………….enjoy…………………………..much Love……………………………….Louis

………………..The show is over, and now all you have to do is sit back and wait for the goodies to arrive. To say it was a successful show would be an understatement….thank you all! I hope you enjoyed the presentation and the way I styled the models…..There were one or two flubs, but hey….I FORGOT TO PULL UP MY SUSPENDERS!!!!  Who does that??!!! so I can’t blame the stylist for one or two mistakes… The thing is with all of the earphone and microphone wires hooked up to me I could’t get my jacket off to pull up the suspenders, so whenever the camera wasn’t on me I was hiking up my pants!!LOL………….There were two items I didn’t get a chance to sneak peek before the show……The COWL NECK TUNIC, A268132, above is one of them. All of the details are posted on the Linea site, but there are a few details that they left out…one being that it has a high/low hem. Another missing fact that just under the cowl there is a little shirring…..just a little….this give a little more room, but not so much that you will look bigger…..just so there isn’t any constriction or pulling. You can see in the photo that the shirring is kept to a minimum. Another is a good description of the heather jersey fabric. It is a rayon/poly blend….and is SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT….so much so that you could wear this twelve months of the year…….perfect for my southern ladies, and perfect for my northern ladies to wear right now.. You can see by the close ups of the fabric that the yarn has an interesting texture, but in the hand is silky smooth. It glides and flows over the body, without clinging. I love it worn with the new Moto leather jacket, shown above in black, for when a jacket is needed. I actually would have put this in my Leisure line, because it is a very casual, and very COMFORTABLE top……………..something that you will LIVE IN…………….If you haven’t chosen it….it’s definitely worth “another look” I know those of you who have will be glad you did. It’s so comfortable you can even sleep in it……..at least an afternoon nap….I think this top will become the “sleeper” of the show……………………………………..

…………………………………….PRUNES and PLUMS…..practically one in the same…..that’s why this PRUNE top works so well under the PLUM MOTO JACKET……A pair of your favorite jeans a shoe boot or a tall boots, or just your favorite flats and off you go….looking very fashionable with an edge………………….The FALLING LEAVES necklace and earrings add just the right delicate touch to this easy and yes, delicate tunic…………………………………………………………………….enjoy……………………………..much Love……………………………………..Louis

…………………………THE GREY COWL TUNIC………………is the third color being offered in this top…….I always say, “your clothes have to work for you”. By this I mean they should have multi purposes. This top can be worn very casual if that’s your need, and/or it is just as appropriate to wear to church, a lunch/dinner or the office. Try it with my Moss Crepe pencil skirt…..the fabrics work great together….no friction…. For those of you who like to belt….this is so whisper light that belting it would be ideal. Wear a blazer over it, perhaps my Leather and knit combo…..or my new one coming in OCT………..Versatility, also means how many things, and colors you can wear with it. For all of the colors I have shown you…..Blue Mist, Prune and Grey…………..black, charcoal grey, navy and walnut are all good options, and that’s just the start………………..Also….PLEASE notice the COWL in MY photo….that’s the way it should look, and trust me when I say…there was no effort taken to make it look this way….now look at the photo on the Linea site…..I can only think of one word “tortured”. It takes a lot of work to have it look so crumpled up?! ……………………..The MOTTO JACKET, A267935, will be shown this Monday on my two hour show starting at 4:00pm…..This was a big surprise for me as this was supposed to be on my Oct show….but here it is! Better early than late…..more appropriate for early fall wearing………………There are many styles of Motto jackets out there to choose from….so….what makes this one different…..It has your asymmetric zipper closing as many do, and your zipper pockets which are classic to these types of jackets…….but this jacket has shape made possible with PRINCESS SEAMS……..A Linea signature….the RIB KNIT TRIMS on leather and suede. This time the sleeves are ribbed knit. The back has a center panel of leather which give that HOUR GLASS LOOK, and on either side…..rib knit panels for maximum stretch….The jacket is numerically sized, and the size 6 is approx. 24 inches long……..This jacket is CUT and MADE with PERFECTION and PRECISION!…..Then there are the colors…….You have seen motto jackets in all sorts of colors…..from blush to silver gray…the classic brown and black…….so choosing just the right colors was very important……………….PLUM…… is the first color I chose…..It’s a DEEP RICH unique color, and one I haven’t seen in this style jacket…….I call these colors….”blackened”……………….I happen to love this color with pastels to add light to the face….like Perfectly Pink…….or the PALE LILAC above….which is a new color for the classic WK T- NECK, A72448. Since it is a reorder style I would think it will be avail soon….at least before my Oct. 7th show……………I personally love the CHOCOLATE METAL with the PLUM and on top of the PALE LILAC…………………If you aren’t a MOTTO GIRL yet…..maybe you will give this a try…..What a fabulous present this will make for those special women, of any age, on your list……………………………………………….
