It has come to my attention that some are still having trouble tying the Lariat………so here is a step by step instruction on the best way to wear it….without it slipping.

Follow the photos from Left to Right:

1- Double the chain and wrap around neck

2-Slide the two orbs through the loop created by the double chain

3- Bring the two orbs up and under the chain, creating another LOOP.

4-Bring the two ors over the chain and down through the new loop

5-Gently pull the two orbs to create the knot

Once this is done the knot will prevent the chain from sliding up or down. You can also wear the Lariat at step two, but it may slide up and down. Let me know if there are any further questions……………..

One of the colors that has emerged this season as being pinnacle is…………………..TOBACCO…………………It is a color I often repeat for fall, and even Indian summer, because it is the color we are surrounded with. Come Oct and Nov……Mother nature takes her turn changing the leaves to this marvelous bronze/copper color……….The TOBACCO and CLAY WK sweaters this season epitomize this rich earthy natural color. A heads up….QVC will be having these “Flash Events” for a few days…where some or all items will be on EASY PAY. It would be a good opportunity to pick things up that are on your “wish lists”. The trench, Zebra or Moto coats and jackets…..or maybe a piece of jewelry you have your eye on….or maybe a camera for your hubbies…..what ever…………..it’s a good thing!

I have some new dates…..as they are called “outside hits”. I will be on this Monday morning Oct. 19th on FEW which starts at 6am. Nothing new, but I will show the three items in new combinations. If your up, and have the TV on…..it’s always a pleasure to see you……………..Then….on November 13th I will be on FEW again, but this time there will be something new, and then to follow that up….on Nov. 14th, AM STYLE with Ms. Leah Williams, and I will have more new………I will have sneak peeks the beginning of Nov. so you will have plenty of advanced notice……………..enjoy the day…………………much Love…………………..Louis

It’s that time of year when you seriously start thinking about your LINEA BODY TIGHT and LEGGING wardrobes. This year I have added two new and VERY IMPORTANT colors to the Basic OPAQUE Tights collection, A260016……OLIVE….and…..TOBACCO…………..They match the OLIVE and TOBACCO Whisper Knits, and coordinate with all of the tobacco and olive color pieces in the collection…i.e. the Animal Jacquard Knit zip front jacket….the OLIVE Trench, and the TOBACCO Swing WK sweater as well as the Tobacco ZEBRA coat…. These fashion colors will be a one season only. Next year I will bring in new colors to coordinate with the new collection……so if you want them don’t wait. There are some asking if the Aubergine is coming back, but there is no plan to do so. Only the basic colors have returned. Give special attention to the HEATHER GREY, which look great with all of your Heather Grey WK sweaters and the new HG Ponte pants………Also returning is the legging, A260034, which I use ALL THE TIME in the shows. They are returning in the three base colors of Navy, Black and Walnut. Unfortunately, there aren’t any new colors due to a problem at the dying plant which could not be remedied in time for the delivery needed………The legging, which is a much thicker denier needs special dye baths and there were technical problems with the city’s new chlorinated water ratio which messed up all of the dying formulas….all very technical, and not your problem, but nothing is easy! …..Hopefully next year………There are TWO terrific buys this season………The PEEK-A-BOO tights, A260032 in Navy, now at a reduced price of $5.50. These are the tights with the lace stripe running up the back of the leg. The other terrific buy is the LUREX Opaque tights, A260037,  in SILVER/BLACK and GOLD/BLACK. The reduced price is $6.87. I love these worn day or night, and they look fabulous with the new Boot Cut Ponte Grey pant and a Skimmer Flat or an Open Toe Shoe Bootie. They are much more subtle then they sound. The quality is superb. Some Lurex tights have too much lurex, and the yarns used are not great quality making them scratchy. The amount of Lurex is just right, and it’s blended with a very silky yarn from France……They are pure designer…..There will be one new fabulous tight being introduced……hopefully in time for the show…….It is the TUXEDO TIGHT….This is an opaque tight with a STRETCH VELVET RIBBON UP EACH SIDE OF THE LEG….This is a very special and unique….again totally DESIGNER…..The colors are Gray with Black ribbon and Black with Black……They really elevate any look you put together……..Remember, ALL of the Linea Body Line is PRODUCED IN AMERICA………It’s always a good thing when we can support American companies and American workers…………………………enjoy……………much Love……………………..Louis
