………………..The rayon/span dress at first looked very simple…..but….it had wonderful subtle designer details. The scoop neck dress looked like it had a set in sleeve, but the front of the sleeve was one with the dress….a sort of raglan. The back of the sleeve however did have an armhole to give the sleeve a closer fit. The front of the dress had a panel with flat pleats set into the waist seam. This gave the skirt a beautiful drape and a flowing movement, but still kept a slim line….. There were pockets in the seams. The dress came with a self fabric belt, but I always encouraged to used your own belts to give the dress your personal touch……..It came in Berry and Black. One piece dressing was always a simple way to go….The trick was to find the right dress.

“THE GEORGETTE PLEATED SKIRT”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

………………….The Georgette pleated skirt had a top yoke to keep it smooth over the tummy from which the one inch pleats hung. It had lots of movement due to the georgette. It originally was going to have a contrast yoke, but I later changed it to be a solid skirt…….It came in…… BLACK……..IVORY….and BAMBOO

……………………The HOUNDS TOOTH CHECK COTTON JACQUARD jacket was very popular and was reordered several times in many different colors. The Yellow, Black and White are just a few. The slight swing style was very figure flattering, and the collar worked both standing up or folded down. The 3/4 sleeve made it work for everyone!
