……………..I had no intention of posting these pieces now, and certainly not on Christmas day, but QVC posted them so I felt I should post my prettier pictures for all of you to see…………..Ever since I offered the Etruscan necklace, earring and bracelet I have been thinking of what could be a good replacement, and something to rival those pieces……I think the GRECIAN jewelry is just that………….You all know I love things that look like they came from ancient times when everything was made by hand by true artisans. These people came to become jewelry makers because they had an acute talent that was recognized by kings, emperors and all kinds of wealthy citizens  who hired them to make their jewelry. The jewelry was hand forged, hammered and manipulated to become incredibly beautiful pieces that still look incredibly beautiful today………..The Grecian necklace, J485280, the earring, J485278, and the bracelet, J485288 are all made out of smaller hammered discs that are linked together with rings so there is a lot of movement. The necklace is 72 inches long so it can be worn in a variety of ways. The earring has three discs, and are clip only. The QVC measurement is taken from the top of the first disc to the bottom of the last disc. This measurement is deceiving because the top disc rests on the earlobe, and only the bottom two hang from the ear…….The bracelet has three rows of discs which are attached to a bar. There are two rings for size adjustment……….The color above is a gleaming gold tone just as the brand new pieces would have looked in ancient times…………………………..enjoy………………………much Love…………………….Louis

………………….VERDIGRIS…………..is a color and a special technique that I love. It looks like nothing else, and is as close to being artisan as you can get. What is Verdigris. The color is created naturally when copper is oxidized. I am sure many of you have seen copper water spouts, and outside copper decorations on houses that have turned, with time to a verdigris patina…..a beautiful turquoise green. The Verdigris discs have a dark copper base and are treated to turn this wonderful color. There are many things like humidity, and heat that can effect the final color so it is very irregular. No two discs will be exactly alike, and the color will vary greatly in one piece…..but that is the beauty of VERDIGRIS……..If you are looking for something very uniform Verdigris is not for you. One of the other choices would suit you better………………..However if you love, as I do, the look of Verdigris then these pieces will be perfect for you……There is nothing else like it…………………………….enjoy……………….much Love……………….Louis

……………………………Another color metal I love is CHOCOLATE………….I really couldn’t capture the depth of color in my photographs. It is a rich, deep and darker chocolate color….deeper than copper………If you don’t own anything in this color yet…..this would be a great place to start……………………enjoy……………………much Love………………………….Louis

…………………………GLEAMING SILVER will satisfy all of my silver lovers. This is a pure silver tone color. It is not silver ox. Only the hammered surfaces gives the discs the look of variations of color…………….The classic colors are always a good choice…………………….enjoy……………..much Love………………………..Louis
