………………….The HARLEQUIN necklace is a very versatile necklace, and something you create yourself. Does that sound intimidating? It’s not…..All you need to know is how to  tie a knot……

1-Make sure the LOBSTER CLAW is fastened. There is no extender [it’s not necessary] so you just make sure it is closed.

2-Place the necklace around your neck as the photo at the extreme upper left. Have the two sides hang like a scarf as evenly as possible. The bottom beads are staggered so don’t even try to even them out.

3-Make your first tie as second picture at upper left. Try to keep the individual chains at taut as possible [in my photo the chains on the left are a little loose].

4-Then begin to knot…..With each knot try to alternate the way you do it. Right over left then left over right.

5-Tie the knots tight enough so they do not slip, but don’t be over zealous and BREAK the chain! We aren’t trying to strangle the chain!

6-Make as many knots as you like. I’d say 2 to 4 should give you a good look. The more knots you make the shorter the necklace becomes. Also, you can start the first knot as close to the neck or as low from the neck as you want……….VERSATILE………….The beads at the bottom are uneven to start with so don’t try to even them out…..That would be futile.

7-When you have knotted the necklace to your satisfaction, just undo the lobster and your necklace is complete. You don’t have to re-knot the necklace again unless you want to create a different look by starting the knots higher or lower or adding or subtracting the knots. I have found that when I store the knotted necklace in a bag, I use plastic baggies, the knots can loosen up because there isn’t tension or gravity pulling them down to keep them taut, so you may want to hang the necklace if you can.

…………………Believe it or not the LINEA BODY COLLECTION is returning this month………..when exactly? Sometime mid month…..that’s the best I can say, because none of us on my end know. It’s all up to QVC. The product has been sitting waiting waiting waiting…..”they” say mid month…..no exact date. I’ve decided to give you the outline of what’s coming………………………………………

1-There will be a TWO PACK of 100 DENIER CONTROL TOP TIGHTS: A-BLACK/BLACK, B-VINO/BLACK, C-DARK FOREST GREEN/BLACK, D-ESPRESSO/BLACK. The tights are as you had before and the sizes range from A to G. Size is based on height and weight…..The Black is considered BLACK OUT. The tights are SILKY and MATTE in color. The top has a comfort waist and will not roll….unless…..you buy the wrong size……….ALL of the colors MATCH your Super Ponte Pants, and your Faux Suede Pants.

2-There will be a THREE PACK of 50 DENIER TROUSER SOCKS, again with the comfort top as before. The colors will be A-ESPRESSO/CARAMEL/LODEN,  B-VINO/DARK FOREST GREEN/BLACK, Again, these will match you Ponte Pants and your Faux Suede Pants…..They will look great with a pump or a pretty ballet flat. Sam Edleman has some nice ones.

3-There will be a TWO PACK OF BLACK FLEECE LINED TIGHTS…..It’s certainly getting COLD enough for some cozy fleece lined tights

4-There will be a THREE PACK of BLACK FLEECE LINED TROUSER SOCKS…….cozy cozy

5-There will be a TWO PACK of FANCIES. They are control top tights. One will be BLACK LACE, and the other BLACK POINT D”ESPRIT

Okay…..what about the “no run” sheers?………Trouble in River City!………The mill that makes the yarn made the wrong denier. When I received my production pair to approve I said “what the heck are these????” They looked like compression hose in nude. Now, I had already seen the product months ago so had could this mistake happen?……Stuff happens, and the mistake was made, so end of story…..it’s too late this year to get them produced. We are discussing Spring. What do you think? Would you like “NO RUN SHEER” tights and trouser socks in NUDE, BLACK and SMOKE for early Spring……………………..In the mean time keep on the look out……….the tights and socks will be her soon……I hope!………….These will make great Holiday gifts and stocking stuffers………………

Morning everyone….It’s a cloudy day here in CT, but it is going to be a busy day….more about that later….Whisper Knits….I know there has been a lot of conversation about the lack of new styles in WK, and it is all true. I don’t plan budgets, I have noting to do with QVC’s business. I am just a lowly designer……LOL, but they are well aware of all of your posts! I told you posts and reviews are important!!!! They are read. They know of the complaints……so………I am trying to  remedy that situation. There will be one new WK in January to go with the new BIG DEAL, and don’t ask me what it is I WON’T TELL!….We don’t usually do sweaters for Spring /Summer, but maybe if this Jan. sweater does well I can convince them to reconsider that too. We had an important conversation about WK items going forward, and I’ve made progress. Don’t quote me, because I’ll deny it!….but there may even be a WK BIG DEAL next Fall 2020…….So W Knits are definitely not being eliminated as a category as some of you have feared. All you have to do is see what is left and you know they are doing well. ……………………..The EL MORROCO NECKLACE, J483112 and companion EARRING J483106, is in a class by itself. It is so much more than a classic piece. It has a boldness that immediately grabs your attention. Years ago, for our 10th wedding anniversary, I bought Jac a beautiful bold gold chain link bracelet from Bulgari.
