……………………………Two of my favorite pieces have been reordered and are now avail. The GAUZE CREPE ELONGATED SHIRT, A302565, and the CREPE GAUZE TANK with POCKETS, A302566, are here in the new color…………STRAW………..a soft pale neutral. It looks great with the DARK SAND CREPE GAUZE PANT, A297755, above………The CARNIVAL NECKLACE, J354006, in the new LINEN color with SILVER accents matches perfectly. The silver hoop is the perfect compliment to the necklace……………I love everything about this elongated shirt. The classic shirt collar with stand, the yoke and epaulettes, the roll-up sleeve with button tab, bust darts, the breast patch pockets with button flaps, the band pockets with stitched down pocket bags, the placket button front, and the side slits…..are all of the details that add up to make one fabulous garment. The WORKMANSHIP is SUPERB! It definitely has a SAFARI vibe…….The SCOOP NECK TANK also has band pockets and side slits. These are pieces to be worn not only matched, but also mixed with other colors and prints. Mix these colors with black, navy, grey etc etc., but it’s the cool combination of STRAW and DARK SAND that says chic sophistication to me……If you are a neutral gal….then this is for you!…………………………………enjoy……………much Love…………………….Louis

…………………….SAPPHIRE, SAPPHIRE and more SAPPHIRE…….there is just something about this BLUE!….. These are the last Sapphire pieces for the season. The Crepe Gauze takes dyes beautifully, and i could have hoped for a better result. The shirt and tank with White or Ivory pants……is a simple combination, but it’s simply bold and beautiful….The Crepe Gauze is a season-less fabric, and with a little imagination you will discover many ways to wear the Sapphire pieces. Just by adding a black top under the shirt and a black bottom or maybe the MATCHING SAPPHIRE PANT, A265615, and a shoe boot like the Marc Fisher, A342742 or my favorite, A344065, you can wear it immediately. Linea Navy and Charcoal Grey are two other options to winterize the Sapphire Blue solids. For my southerns there is no question that these are year round garments. The two new SAPPHIRE SWEATERS also work as alternatives to create different looks. Wear the tank with the new SAPPHIRE WILD FLOWER RUFFLE SKIRT. The colors blend perfectly…..There are so may ways to accessorize….ALL of the new jewelry works beautifully……like the Silver or Russian gold organic bead necklace with white cords, or if your wearing a black bottom….the black cords…… the Tortue set in any color, the Fantasy Fish where you can play with ALL colors, the Gunmetal Tassel pendant, and something bold like the Tangiers set above…..and that’s just a start….Can’t you just see yourself strolling in this carefree outfit……knowing you look great…………………………..enjoy………………………much Love……………………………….Louis

………………………….Returning…..the DARK OLIVE ELONGATED SHIRT, TANK TUNIC and matching pant………If you love everything SAFARI as I do…..then this is the color for you…Don’t be afraid to mix it up! A color tee like aqua, orchid, melon, hot pink, lime to name a few, with ivory pants or Capri pants will give you a Caribbean or jungle vibe …….Accessorize with the new FERN CARNIVAL necklace. For my fashionistas who believe more is better…….layer on the new DILL VENETIAN necklace…..and just for fun add the FERN BEACH GLASS necklace, all shown above….They all blend beautifully….and they are all so different…….It may be over the top for some, but not for Iris Apfel!…If you don’t know who this marvelous lady is I would suggest you google her…..She is a free spirit with incredible taste….The Metropolitan Museum of Art had a large exhibit of her personal clothing, jewelry, footwear, bags and even her glasses. The book they published is inspiring…..She’s inspiring, and we could all learn something, not only about style, but how to live life from the woman……I would recommend the GILI front knot wedge, A302903, in willow/camo. It is the shoe I always use to show my olive clothes………………………………………………………..

………………………..BLACK & IVORY is always my absolute favorite color combination….I do love ALL COLORS, but if I were forced to pick just two….it would be black and ivory. I love the way the elongated shirt looks belted over the tank with the ivory Ponte pencil skirt. I only buttoned the shirt 2 or 3 buttons at the waist and then belted it. It gives the look of a dress…..It is so sophisticated! I added the new CARNIVAL NECKLACE in the new color……HONEY with gold accents……It’s RICH………There are a zillion ways and a zillon things you can combine with these black pieces……They are essentials…….For my PETITES….if you think this is to long or too this or that, I suggest before making a judgement, you should look at AMY in the video. She is truly tiny in every way, but her attitude is TALL. She carries these pieces perfectly…..

………………………….The BLACK WILD FLOWER print skirt, A302604, is returning, and with it coming in March is the new PEASANT BLOUSE, A349655. When I first presented the skirt I also presented the COLD SHOULDER peasant blouse, A302603, which is still avail. but very limited. I could have reordered that blouse, but I thought I’d offer a new version. This time there is no cold shoulder though it still has a double layer sleeve….and it is set in. The scoop neckline is fixed with a piping. The body of the blouse has an easy flow. There are many ways to wear these two pieces. As you can see the photos to the left try wearing it with the back label at the side seam so the ruffle bottom hangs on a slant, photo second in from the top left. I know some have even worn it as a dress…..I’ve shown the skirt with a black tank and the BLUE MULTI faceted glass beads, J360760. The BLACK TORTUE necklace and earring look great with it too….A306416, the crinkle georgette convertible neckline peasant blouse would also be perfect with the skirt…Have fun with different color tops that you may already own…..As for the new PEASANT BLOUSE there are many options fore bottoms, starting with the ivory Ponte pencil skirt, A347449, any white or ivory pant. Of course any black bottom from a slim pant, to a Capri or the black Ponte pencil to the Boho, and everything in between will look great………Everyone needs some WILD FLOWERS in their lives!……………………………………..
