………………….JUTE………….I love the name and I love the material it represents. Actual Jute is a plant based fiber that is used to make rugs, rope, course materials such as Burlap and Gunny cloth. It can also be refined to make wonderful thinner yarns for sweaters and apparel……The color of Jute is mostly left in its’ natural state…..a wonderful light camel color………It is the perfect backdrop to wear with all different types and colors of jewelry, scarves etc….I thought the color of jute would be perfect for the GAUZE fabric……You can easily dress this up or make it as casual as you want. Flat banded sandals, espadrilles, wedges, slides, mules with tea cup heels, and mid heel sling backs will all work well with this Jute Chemise…………….The necklace shown I call my………..”INDIA PENDANT”……………It was reproduced from a very old piece from my personal collection. To say they did an incredible job is a huge understatement!!!!! To be honest when I gave the piece to the manufacturer I had little hope of it coming out in a way I could accept. Usually, when a very old piece is copied the result looks new and shiny, and all of what I loved about it is gone……the character is lost…..That is exactly the opposite of what happened. I was amazed they were able to capture the hand made quality, and the detail was exact. The hanging pieces and the stones were as the original. We took the new version even one step further by making it open up in the back as an enhancer…….so you can wear different cords or chains at different lengths……The pendant will even come with a small RED JEWEL earring as a SET…..You will have to be very patient for this beauty as it is part of my fall collection and will not be avail until later in the season……….You can see why I love the color of this pendant on the JUTE CHEMISE…………..enjoy……….much Love……….Louis

……………..Could I possibly do this dress and not offer it in………………BLACK?????…………..a BLACK CHEMISE for the summer is perfect!!…..For work, or for any occasion that may come up this will be your GO TO piece………….As for accessorizing the sky is the limit……….Any and all shoes from metallics of all colors to canvas, patent leather, suede and calf leather will give you many looks and attitudes. ……………………PALE TERRACOTTA……..a beautiful neural complexion enhancing color…..This is also a great summer and early fall color. Of course in many areas of the country this is your everyday slip on. For those days when the last thing you want is complicated…..this is the easiest way to dress……The MEDALLION NECKLACE, is from my Anne Klein archives, and is in development . As I read through you color suggestions I have noticed requests for ADOBE ponte pants. I suggest you look at the DARK UMBER Ponte boot cut pant. It is almost the exact same color. The Umber is a little deeper, which for me is a better pant color. I could never run both colors…..they are just too close!
