………………My samples arrived yesterday!!!!! I can’t blame the office for the tardy delivery, because these new colors were slated for a May sell date. TPTB decided to release them early, which is great for all of you who are interested in the top……However, if they release them early then there should be photos avail. so you know what they look like…..Makes sense….no?….No matter….that’s why I’m here, and my photos are so much better….LOL..The OMBRE TUNIC with the HIGH LOW HEM, A263353 is called…………BLUEBERRY………….and the name suits the color……..However, if I could rename it I would call it……….BLUE WATERS…..There is definitely a flowing water color look to this print. I have to say that this and all of the ombre prints were printed  at a very special printer outside of China and they supply this special jersey fabric too. Then the fabric was shipped to the manufacturer in China for the cutting and making of the garments. The result is extraordinary!……This is “Designer Quality” printing. My pictures do it no justice! The fabric is silky, and cool to the touch, and as you know it does not CLING. I think for all of these reasons so many of you keep coming back for more. You recognize the high level quality of these garments. Maybe my explanation has now given you an idea of why these aren’t your run of the mill garments, and are indeed special and unique……..As you can see in the photos above the new BEACH GLASS necklace and EARRING set is PERFECT with this new Blueberry……or between us……the  BLUE WATERS tunic……………..enjoy……………much Love…………….. ………………………………CORAL is just as good a name for this fantastic print as any…………It reminds me of a glorious……SUNSET………….That time in the evening when the sun has just gone below the horizon and the eastern sky is already getting that purply dark color, but the western sky is a blaze in streaks of incredible color……So lets not quibble about the color name….lets just enjoy the beauty of the printing, fore it is like a beautiful painting!……Colors are so hard to describe anyway that I wouldn’t even try to describe what the colors are in this print. The bottom color is not an easy one to describe either, because it is a result of one color being printed over another, as the entire print is done. That’s why you need master printers, but that’s another whole story. I have chosen to pair the top with the Alabaster Crepe Gauze pant, A276294 for reg. and A276295 for petite. There is alabaster or vanilla at the top of the tunic…..which works well with the pant. In July the slim pant will also be avail. in Alabaster, and if you own it, the Light Khaki slim pant should work too……Come fall I “may” have another dark color that will work as a bottom. Since I won’t have those samples for quite a while I don’t want to claim anything that might not work out……………….This is a very unique and special coloration, and you can’t help but stare at it…..so I would suggest you click on the picture to get an idea of the subtlety of the various colors………..I know many of you have already fallen in love and ordered the ALABASTER version of this tunic. I am sure after you see the BLUEBERRY and this CORAL you will fall in love with them too………………My job is not to make it easy! LOL……………………………enjoy………….much Love……………………….Louis

……………………..I always love anything that hints of SAFARI……….The new CHIVE FAUX de CHINE SAFARI SHIRT, A288388, has a little more than a hint. This shirt has an easy straight fit, with a gentle scoop neck. It has a placket button front, a yoke and small epaulets……..a sure sign of safari. There are generous side slits for extra ease. The 3/4 sleeve has a band cuff and two buttons for adjustment. The shirt is approx. 27″ for the xs…….I have the blouse shown above with two different bottoms…..the vintage faux linen herringbone pants, and the NEW matching CHIVE SUNBURST PLEATED SKIRT, A288389…..Sunburst skirts are “the skirts of the year”. They are in every magazine at all kinds of lengths and a variety of fabrics. Some may still have the sunburst pleated skirt I did a few years ago…..I hope you saved it!…….The pull-on skirt has a full elastic waist, and measures approx. 26 to 27 inches depending where you place the 1″ waist band……..I have the new ALABASTER Safari Georgette shirt, A214117, worn with the Chive skirt [photos at upper right]….Those two colors together really say “SAFARI”..Wear the new Safari blouse with a fabulous belt or simply worn loose and easy…..It can even be worn open with a tank for a cool summertime jacket…….I happen to like the CHOCOLATE JINGLE JANGLE necklace, J325473, with the Chive. The warm deep copper color looks very natural, and compliments the green. It is the only color left of the four that were originally avail. It truly is a fabulous, UNIQUE, and beautifully made piece. It’s a special color that  will go with so many things coming in the future…..The multi wire CUFF, J335214, is NOW AVAIL in the CHOCOLATE….Don’t miss out it is a very special color and can really make an outfit look NEW! …………………………ADOBE is a color straight from nature. It’s a very south western color, so naturally it looks great with anything in the Turquoise/Aqua family. Mix it with natural linen or black for totally different effects………………The BLACK BARREL beads are shown above, but since they are sold out the AZTEC necklaces, J335215 will look GREAT, and they are now avail. These came from my Anne Klein archives, and honestly you can’t tell the difference….Fare warning get them while you can. The “GREEN PATINA” beaded necklace and earring and the “INDIA PENDANT”, are two pieces I am working on. Maybe for next fall and spring……fingers crossed. ……………Another color that will be avail. in the new Safari shirt is the……… PALE APRICOT. It is such a pretty spring/summer, and early fall color. It looks wonderful with ivory, as above. Navy, Grey, Tan, Truffle, and Brown are a few more options to wear as bottoms. I love the Tangerine seed beads on the Apricot. It gives a nice POP……..Mix the ALABASTER WOOD BEADS for even more excitement………The sunburst skirt isn’t avail. in Apricot, but you can mix the Apricot will all the colors the skirt does come in………………………enjoy………………….much Love……………………..Louis
