…………………..There is nothing more glamours and there will never be anything more glamours than a WHITE JACKET or COAT……….What is their left to say….If you love the look of big white shirts or just anything in white than this is for you. Don’t forget it is washable…….Some will only want to dry clean it, but there is an alternative…..you can wash it yourself and then bring it to the dry cleaners for a professional PRESS ONLY…..If the jackets I have shown you on the form look big…that is because I normally order my samples in an xxs or xs which is the form size, but Jac likes these kinds of jackets on the big side….that’s her personal taste….. so this time I ordered size SMALL samples…..There are some advantages of having a designer as a husband!……LOL. If there are grammar and spelling mistakes….forgive me…..I am rushing to get these sneak peeks out, and have no time to check what I have typed, not one of my best skills!!   We are literally out the door on our way to PA for my AM Style appearance tomorrow morning as soon as this is posted!………………………..enjoy……….much Love………………. ……………………Coming on my Feb 2nd show will be this new…..PULL-OVER HOODIE…….A273299……..It is a NEW fabric for my Linea Ladies……a combination of 61% polyester and 39% rayon. It is a wonderful seasonal knitted fabric that will take you from spring through the fall. Of course where the weather is more temperate this is a year long top. It has a very SILKY SMOOTH touch so it is very comfortable against the skin. It is 29 1/2 inches long for the XXS, so it is definitely a longer tunic For my very petite ladies it could even double as a summer dress. It will always work over a pair of leggings…….Actually it IS perfect over the Linea Leisure slim pant/legging in black, above, A267868. To get a longer wearing period I would suggest you layer the top with a long sleeve top for when it is really chilly……then your mock neck WK tank, A233947, shown above for when the temps start to rise………This is an easy relaxed fit….but not over sized….just easy. It has a drop shoulder. There are side slits for added comfort. There is a front KANGAROO POCKET, but there is no bulk……The top has an interesting and unusual neckline. The hood goes into a “U” neckline instead of the expected “V”….This is very flattering and immediately draws the attention to the face…It is the MESH TRIMS that really give this top that “designer” look. Notice how the trims are on the pocket edges and follow the edge of the hood straight down into the U neckline. What I particularly like is that the seam going down the center of the HOOD is also trimmed in the mesh on the inside so when the hood is worn down, which will probably be 99.9% of the time, it has a wonderfully graphic finish……Even the back neckline is trimmed in the mesh……..The color above is called……..PETUNIA……it makes me long for spring, which I like to think isn’t too too far away!…………………………………………….enjoy………………………..much Love………………………….Louis

……………………BLUE…..is the second color being offered in this HOODIE pull-over…….It is trimmed in NAVY MESH. The HEATHER effect of the fabric gives it a med. wash denim look, and the navy trims give a nice accent……The top works over a short skirt, a skort, shorts, Carpi pants, crops, leggings and long pants…..perfect over your white jeans. Layer it over the WK mock tank in white, A233947, or just a simple cotton s/s white cotton Tee……………….This top is a fun take on a pull over hoodie……decidedly casual, but with FLARE!………………….enjoy….much Love…….Louis

……………………………SEA GREEN……….or COOL WATERS would have also been an apt description of the “mood” of this refreshing color.. The top is trimmed in the  GREY MESH, and paired with my new grey Linea Leisure pull-on pant which will be featured this Saturday on AM Style with Leah Williams……..As the temps heat up wear this top on it’s own or as a wonderful cover up over a Tee shirt, a tank or a bathing suit……This is a terrific travel piece. I chose to accessorize with my Gunmetal pieces, but silver will look equally as good……………..enjoy……….much Love……..Louis

……………….A NEW TOP……A NEW PANT…….A NEW FABRIC…..coming on my Feb 1st 5:00 pm show………First the fabric…….This is a knit, for lack of a better description, a Ponte type fabric. It is a blend of 72%polyester, and 28% cotton. Since it is a knit fabric it has natural stretch…….The fabric has a silky smooth cotton touch, and is  substantial enough to be able to make both tops and pants. Due to the blend of poly cotton this CHAMBRAY BLUE and a slight HEATHER effect. This is definitely spring early summer wear. You would not wear this top in the heat of the summer unless you were wearing a tank with the crop pant, and went into an air conditioned movie theater or restaurant where the chill can get to you. Jac always protests about bringing something along when we go out in the summer, especially to the movies…..then…….after a few minutes and the lights are out…..and the movie has begun….I can see her from the corner of my eye sheepishly putting her top on…..what can I say….she’s is a Taurus…….LOL………The TOP, A273858 is 27 inches long for the xxs….so I would consider this a moderate tunic length….not too long, but long enough to cover. The fun part of this top is focused at the TOP. It has a fold over collar [front only] which sort of has a NAUTICAL feel…….The two slanting zippers do work, but there is fabric underneath…..no skin showing. They really are more for adornment than for function. However, the zippers on the sleeves are functional…..so they can be unzipped and folded back………POCKETS????? OF COURSE Where would you put your hands if this top didn’t have them. There is an embroidered Linea logo in tonal thread so it is hardly noticeable. The top has a easy fit and I would suggest getting your regular size. This is a cut and sew garment….not a sweater so let that be your guide…..Pay close attention to the measurements and you won’t go wrong……………….THE CROP PANT, A273859, I am going to predict becomes one of your new favorites. It is sized, like the top, XXS through 3X……Starting at the top….it has a CONTOUR covered elastic band approx. 2 inches wide. It has a great feel on the body. Emb. on the band is the tonal Linea insignia in a tonal thread color. There is a fax front zip fly created with a simple top stitch, again for the look only. There are however….REAL POCKETS…..The back of the pant is clean…..just two darts for shape…….The inseam for the xxs is approx 24 inches so I don’t know if these would be considered more Capri then crop. To tell you the truth I seldom  pay any attention to those things. What is important to me is how they look on the fit model when we are creating the style. I leave the “name calling” up to those who find it important……..The bottom of the crop/Capri has a CUFF. A cute detail that gives the pant a new casual look. The important thing to remember is……the pieces are NOT TO BE WORN SOLELY AS A MATCHING SET!….. Even though you can, and they do look perfect worn they way…..you will get much more wear it you don’t only match….but have fun mixing them with other things you own…..like the jeans above. I hope you like these pieces as much as I think you will, and I hope the fabric is something that you also feel can be a Linea staple………………………….Enjoy……………much Love……………Louis
