………………..The WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, is finally back in stock!!……and the LIGHT TAN is the NEW COLOR……If you are a cotton shirt lover as I am, and you haven’t tried this shirt yet….you are missing out on something really special. This is only the second time this shirt has appeared [sold out the first time around], but it already has a legion of followers. Out of 48 reviews….45 give it two thumbs up!……….The LIGHT TAN is a FABULOUS color, and I don’t say that lightly. A beautiful tan is a difficult color to achieve…….a little too yellow and it looks sallow…..to grey and it looks dingy…..to pink and it’s just not tan anymore………it may be pretty, but it’s not tan……….THIS Light Tan, for me is perfection, and very flattering and versatile….it just works with everything. Above, I have it paired on the left with the BLACK LEATHER/RIBBED KNIT BLAZER, A228554, and on the right with the WINE PONTE HOODED BLAZER, A237551…..both with the SLIM LEG KNIT PANT, A265615, in the PALE KHAKI. The shirt and pant almost match exactly, and makes for a wonderful column of color to be worn with all kinds of pull overs, cardigans and jackets. Pale Khaki is only one  bottom color you can wear with Light Tan……you can literally where any color bottom, or jacket or sweater with this neutral tan……….If you are knew to the wing collar shirt…..first, it is made in my signature cotton/span fabric that I developed and is exclusive to Linea. Due to the  FINE TWILL WEAVE the fabric has the perfect weight for a quality shirting….not too light or too heavy, and not SEE THROUGH…….Secondly,  it has a wonderful body skimming fit….in all sizes…..due to the Princess seaming, but it is the WING COLLAR that is the magic here! It is just the perfect size, the perfect angle and works, flipped up, like no other shirt collar…..not even the KATE shirt, which I also think is perfect for different reasons. The collar just sits on the neck and extends outside of sweaters and jackets perfectly….If I am using the work “perfect” or “perfectly” to often to describe this shirt….I simply can’t help myself….IMHO…it’s that good……But you can decide for yourselves……It ‘s like potato chips….you can’t have just one……………………………………………………………………………………………….

………………………………….The WHITE WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, and it is the creme de la creme…..It sold out in a flash when first presented, and my shirt lovers wanted it duplicated IMMEDIATELY! I understood the wanting, but there isn’t any way to bring them back within the same season………….so it’s here and you can get as many as you want…..there are no limits……but be for warned….when it’s aired I’m guessing it will fly out again…………….There is absolutely no article of clothing that is more ICONIC…..more AMERICAN…..more representative of AMERICAN SPORTSWEAR than a CRISP WHITE COTTON SHIRT……If there was ever an ESSENTIAL MUST HAVE…..this is it…………………………………………………..

………………………..The BLUE TUNIC, A267874……….is my newest addition to my LINEA LEISURE collection……….Why do I call it Leisure and then show it with a boot skirt?…….because I want to show the versatility of these pieces…..and the skirt is the NAVY Linea Leisure skirt, A262069, in the cotton/span knit, so it still qualifies as a “leisure” outfit….right? …..You can easily wear the top with jeans, leggings, or again, with a skirt or my SLIM DRESS PANTS, A265615, for work…..The top is already posted on the Linea QVC site and ready for ordering……This isn’t scheduled to be aired until August 31st so you really are getting a jump. The Q is posting them quicker than I can photograph them!!…….All of the details, measurements and such, are posted on the site, but what it doesn’t tell you is this. The hand and weight of the fabric is similar to the weight of the Ponte knit I use for dresses. That makes it extremely flattering on the body, and SMOOTHS OUT any figure flaw you may have. There will be absolutely NO CLINGING with this fabric……..The pattern knitted into the fabric is interesting too. It is not a print…..I have been using striated and marled knits for quite a while, but this one is different. There are a series on uneven, thin broken horizontal lines knitted into the fabric. Now imagine the pattern is on a billboard on the road side and you are wizzing by……you’ll understand when you see it……. It has PRINCESS SEAMS front and back and then starts to flare out over the rib cage. This should make all of my apples and pears very happy. It should actually make all of you very happy as it is a very youthful silhouette. I would say the fit on this is spot on, and I know the great majority of you will be very pleased……so feel comfortable ordering your regular size….That said you should always check the measurements. I’d say the two important measurements here are the shoulder and bust……The waist and hip measurement are inconsequential due to the flared silhouette……The sleeves are long, and the open jewel neck is…..PERFECT for all kinds of necklaces and accessories……For just a little more detail I have added a THREE BUTTON HENLEY OPENING at the neck…..use it or not. I am very confident, no matter what your lifestyle, that this will be a favorite piece in you refreshed fall wardrobes……great for travel or just going through your daily routine…….. The Lariat should be arriving at the end of the month…..hopefully in time for the show. The Lariat in the pictures was the first sample and not quite correct, but it will look like this………………. …………..The MOSS TUNIC, A267874…..is the third and final color being offered in this top. I have heard through the QVC grapevine that OLIVE will be one of “the” colors this fall……It happens to be one of “the” colors for me EVERY YEAR!……I will say my photos do not do the MOSS color justice. I even tried without a flash and no lights in the room, but it still came out a little faded looking. That said the color is a lovely mid shade and a neutral enough moss to work with most complexions. I have it paired with my WK OLIVE SKIRT, A237411, but as I have mentioned it will be perfect with the new LINEA BODY LEGGINGS, A260034, in the new DARK OLIVE [same color as the WK skirt]….With your OLIVE WK SKIRT….you can now have the BRAND NEW MATCHING OLIVE TIGHTS, A260016……NOW IN STOCK……It isn’t too early to start thinking about replenishing your TIGHTS WARDROBE……before your size starts to disappear in the color/colors you want….especially the new OLIVE and TOBACCO….Last year every color SOLD OUT, and it has taken a year to get them back. Last November…women were asking where are the tights…..sorry….sold out.
