FYI – Linea Leisure Jacket with Hood A225481 is posted on Q. There’s a Featured Price and 3 Easy Pays.

  2. Fairfax

Dear Louis and Jac, Thank you for sharing your talent and making me feel and look special. I am a retired principal and wore your clothes to work. I never worried about being put together . You did that for me, so I could concentrate on my students, parents, and teachers. When I retired, I thought I’d miss dressing, and I felt sad about that. I was wrong. I continue to wear my Linea and feel great even when I go out shopping. I was recently elected to the school board, and, as always, feel confident wearing Linea!!
THANK YOU! Oh, what will the new colors be for the pebble crepe top? I live in that top and he safari shirt (I see the new colors in the safari crinkle will be purple and lime). Can’t wait!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Fairfax….just because we retire that doesn’t change who we are. Yes, our lifestyles may change, and our focus of dressing may shift, but Linea clothes are very adaptable, and work for all, every, or no occasions……What pebble crepe top are you referring to? As for the new colors for the safari shirt and skirt…..Lime is a yes, but no purple…..who’s feeding you with the wrong info…..detention for them…LOL

      1. Fairfax

I’m in detention! I see two colors pop up when I click on the crinkle georgette safari shirt. I can make out the lime, but the other one is maybe blue instead of purple. Can’t tell. The pebble crepe tunic is A213621. I LOVE that top. A
ny new colors?? To everyone… A221353 has been posted. It is a baseball jacket with embroidery. Beautiful. I don’t think we knew this was coming.

        1. louis dell'olio

Funny, I just went to the site and don’t see any new colors listed, but lime is one. There are no new colors in the PCT. I think it has been retired…..WOW I can’t believe that’s posted already! It will be on the Jan.30th show….It’s a beauty and it should be twice, if not three times the price!

          1. Carol

Sad to hear that the PCT has been retired, had been looking forward to new colours. It is a staple in my closet and one of the first tops that gets packed in my luggage.

          2. Fairfax

You can see them for a split second when you click on the shirt. They are included in the sold out colors. You have to have a sharp eye to spot them. That’s how I can sometimes see what is coming :).

            1. louis dell'olio

I’m changing your name from Fairfax to Hawk Eye.

  3. Goldie76

My Dark Olive “Kate” shirt arrived today. Great color! For some reason I am leaning toward wearing silver jewelry with it rather than gold.

Also, the fit seems better than before. Have you continued to perfect the fit for us? All I know is that I am a happy camper and went back and ordered two more shirts in your new colors.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie….silver is very south western with olive, so I understand your leaning. The Kate shirt pattern hasn’t changed nor are we allowed to change a reorder in any way…so if the shirt fits differently all I can say is ??????? Of course each shirt is sewn by individuals and it could be that on any given shirt the sewer took a little more or less of a seam, but all of the shirts are within “tolerance”…….Glad you like how the olive came out. I think it looks very rich.

  4. Suzy

    Hi Louis

Will there be any maxi dresses this year. The zig zag maxi was my hands-down favorite Linea piece but I have lost weight and cannot wear it.

    1. louis dell'olio

You should try to have it taken in….it really shouldn’t be that hard….it’s straight sewing…..buyers didn’t select any maxis from me?Maybe sales are slowing on them??

  5. diane

Louis- I received an email from QVC today that your Jan 30 4AM show
has a time change. Do you have any info on this? Thanks (And
I hope it’s not too late to wish you,Jac and the girls Happy New
    Year).

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Diane….It’s never too late to receive good wishes……The Jan. 30th show had been made into a 2 hour show from 3am to 5am. Then I will have my 5pm show. I guess Jac and I will be up all night as we will have to get there at least 1 1/2 hours before the show to work with the stylist…..eck!

      1. dane

Thanks for the info. We appreciate you and Jac
sacrificing your sleep. More Louis is always better!

  6. Pecan Cookie

    Hi Louis,
I keep the airy, open weave, E. Fisher-like cardigan at my office and wear it almost every day, A233859. In winter for the draft from the windows and in the summer for the ultra-cool air conditioning. I wear it as a cardigan, a wrap and sometimes as a scarf. I have this precious in black and in white. Any chance there will be anything similar in knit and versatility coming? Mine will need to be replaced someday although they have held up beautifully to delicate machine washing, flat dry. I know I will be super sad should something happen to either cardigan but a replacement in the wings would soften the blow, maybe not this year but next. The original had mixed reviews so I understand if the answer is “no” but thanks for considering!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Pecan Cookie…..I’m afraid you were one of the few who understood the gauze knit, the versatility, the comfort and the valve of that cardigan. It did not do well, and even took a long time on clearance at $25 to finally sell out. E. Fisher does this type of knit every season so I thought more of the ladies would get it, but that didn’t happen. I will not be going back to that well again…..sorry…..take good care of your pieces.

      1. Victoria1

Just wanted to add I got it. Because I have the black and sage in the gauze knit sweaters. Wearing the black today. I am sorry I didnt get the white one, my loss. These are treasures.
        Thanks Louis,

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pecan Cookie…..you may want to check out A239320. It is a cardigan made in the same yarn, but for this cardigan I doubled the yarn so it is slightly heavier. I love the colors, and it’s on clearance at a ridiculously low price. I will say the colors are much prettier in real life than on the video……there was a matching scarf that still may be avail?

  7. Grace

    Dear Louis,

The plating on my silver single bar necklace is wearing off & I’ve been told your vendor in RI can repair it. I have the address, but what is the return shipping cost? Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace…..that is correct. My manufacturer will repair or re-plate anything that is possible to do. Just to make sure you have the correct address here it is again:

      Repairs Department
      C/O TCJC LLC
      3B Industrial Drive
      Smithfield, RI 02917

Enclose a brief letter stating the problem and that you are a QVC customer. Enclose a check for $7.50 to TCJC LLC for return shipping. Do not forget to also give your return address. You would be surprised how many times that is not included!! Please let me know how it turns out.

      1. Grace

Thank you, Louis! I don’t think you’ll be surprised to know the plating is wearing thin because I use the necklace so often! I also have the single bar in gold & gunmetal (no plating issues) and they are among my favorite, go-to pieces.

  8. Seka

FYI – The Magnificent Trapeze Necklace J331644 is now available on Q!

    1. Seka

The Black Lacquer Trapeze Necklace has already Sold Out!

      1. louis dell'olio

I said the quantities were limited!….but that’s ridiculous!!

  9. Janice

Are any v neck t shirts that are cotton spandex coming in?

    1. louis dell'olio

No, they only bought one style, but I have all styles sketched so maybe next spring.

      1. Carol in FL

I hope more classic v-neck styles in the cotton span as well as whisper knits will be coming. I can not wear the crew neck or higher neck lines. Looking forward to your next show!

        Carol

  10. Clothes horse

Will your safari jacket come back?

    1. louis dell'olio

Which safari jacket? since the one with the eyelet and the faux sued were both on clearance those styles will not be back. They NEVER reorder clearance styles. Once they have been marked down…..that’s the end

      1. By the C

Speaking of jackets I have a request as I have broad shoulders–love all of your coats and jackets but I was wondering if going forward they could have some amount of stretch in both the item and it’s lining please? Many thanks.

I see QVC has changed the time of the Jan. 30 show.

      2. Clothes horse

        So sorry Louis
I mean a traditional woven safari in khaki color .Also searching for the gauze safari blouse .Is a number available? Thank you.

  11. Shari

The short sleeve T’s are posted !!

  12. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

The Kate shirt (A214116) has been posted on QVC in additional new colors–pale aqua, periwinkle, and tea rose. Lots of choices! Thank you.

    Carol

    1. louis dell'olio

WOW….those were supposed to be for next month……they aren’t holding anything back!

  13. Kathy/Wis

The y bar and trapeze necklaces are up for ordering

    1. louis dell'olio

      Good news!

      1. Shari

I want them all, but ordered the Silver.

  14. gapeach

I got the Kate Shirt in Raspberry yesterday, and it is beautiful. I already have the Cardigan in that color, and love the way the two go together. The color is deep and rich, and a different change from the usual colors. By the way, this makes my seventh Kate shirt; it is the most perfect shirt I know of. The fabric is a wonderful weight, and I love the fact it is not “wrinkle proof” because some added compound, which washes out in no time. These will last for a long time. It’s my go-to when I need something classic and special, but which has a casual flair. I am only hoping for cool weather to be able to wear it.

    1. louis dell'olio

Cool weather??? where do you live…..you can have some of our cool weather. You can always wear it as a shirt jacket

      1. Yvette

Ha ha, look at her screen name Louis – she’s a “Georgia peach.” Here in New Orleans I can only wear my Kate shirts in the winter months, too. But that hasn’t stopped me from buying almost every color. I’m wearing the raspberry right now, and just got a look at the beautiful new pastels. Ooo la la!

        1. Yvette

Had to add that I’m wearing my Kate today with sleeves rolled up! We are having an extraordinarily warm winter this year.

  15. Shari

Louis, are the new T’s the same fabric as the Tunic or lighter in weight?

    1. louis dell'olio

      Much lighter

  16. Merrylass

    Louis,

Happy New Year! May you, Jac, and members of your family have a safe and happy year. My Linea wish list for 2017 include: Whisper Knit pants in scarlet, charcoal grey and white; Whisper Knit long skirt in scarlet, charcoal grey, navy, and white; more Linea Leisure pants (will the pull on pants be reordered? I need backup pairs in black, navy, and white); and last but not least more Poet shirts! Pretty please?!?

The new Linea Leisure jacket is lovely — I really love the way the hood looks unzipped. Thanks for your continued hard work and lovely designs.

    With gratitude, Merrylass

  17. Chris S.

I love the longer length of the zip front hooded tunic from last summer. Do I remember correctly that it is returning in more colors?
If so, what colors and when?

    1. Chris S.

      Oops, I meant snap front.

      1. louis dell'olio

Yes, it is returning, but I don’t know what colors have been chosen…..A new version is coming for spring….Same body with a little less High/Low, and a scoop neck.

        1. Chris S.

Wonderful! I love that the longer length can be worn over tunic tops!
          Thank you!

          1. By the C

I’m tall and love the longer length too!

  18. Shari

    Hi Louis

Quick question for you. This goes back a ways.Hope your
    thinkin’ cap is available.
Do you remember the navy satin crop pant you did a few years ago?
Anyway, was wondering if they would be compatible with the new Pink leisure jacket.? I think the number was an A 89—.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Shari, I do remember the pant, but I don’t have the sample so I can’t give you a definitive answer .

      1. Shari

        Understand.
Nothing left to do, but try it. I think it would be fine, as I picture it in my mind.
Those crop pants are a favorite of mine for Spring and Summer and I have them in the navy and the white and they look as crisp as the day I bought them. Could be a “bring back” ? in more colors?

  19. Janice

Are these coming back in stock? I have been waiting for months for the black 1X with no luck.

    1. Janice

A262070 pants in Blk 1X are they coming back and when? Please!

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Janice….unfortunately they have not been reordered….Have you been on wait list all this time??

      1. Janice

I asked QVC and they could not answer me-they said I needed to find out from the vendor. I had been on a waitlist for navy for 1 1/2 months and then it was cancelled and now available for waitlist again(which I did again) I do not understand why they won’t reorder. Can you bring something similar? I do not understand how QVC works-I was in retail my whole life and this seems ridiculous– to tell a customer that they don’t know anything? check with the vendor?
As I said before I have been checking for months so I am very Please disappointed and needed about 6 pair! Please talk to the buyers.
There are no 1X pants left!

        1. louis dell'olio

Janice to my knowledge this pant is not being reordered. Obviously the CS does not have information on whether the item is to be continued. It isn’t their fault, but if the item isn’t going forward then it should have a discontinued
notice and cancellations should be sent out so all of you know what the situation is. I forwarded your e-mail to my buyer……

          1. Janice

Thank you for your reply. There should be someone who can communicate with the buyers as to the demand for a product. I made 3 calls during the months I was waiting and sent 2 emails recently. I agree cancellation notices should have been sent but were not. I found out by looking at my account.(and I am still on waitlist for the navy!)I hope you bring in something similar as soon as you can. I have always loved your clothes and have been with you for a long time-going back to you being a bridge line in department stores. I also remember Anne Klein.

            Regards, Janice

  20. Ruth

    Hi Louis,
My TIVO program guide is saying that you are going to be on QVC at 3:00PM today. Is that a TIVO mistake or a Friday the 13th surprise?

    1. louis dell'olio

Well Ruth,,,,,I’m sitting here in front of my computer in CT, and have no plans on going to PA, so I have no idea what that is?

      1. Ruth

I figured it was a TIVO glitch, but I can’t help but be disappointed.

  21. Seka

    Louis,

You had mentioned that there would be a Whisper Knit Topper coming – do you know when, please?

Also – what are the colour options?

    Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

A topper? I don’t know what you are referring to…..There’s a long open front cardigan coming in Feb. That’s the only thing I can think of that comes close to a topper.

      1. julie

Louis what are the colors of the long open front cardigan coming in Feb?
Seka & I would like to know! LOL

        1. louis dell'olio

          Black, Ivory and Scarlet Red

          1. Ruth

Sounds delightful! Can you give us an idea of how long it is?

          2. julie

            Beautiful, thanks!!!

  22. Joanne

    Hi Louis
When will your long seed bead necklaces be back in stock? They are lovely.

    Happy New Year!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They are being delivered in April so I would guess they will be avail by mid to end April.

  23. Shari

    Louis,
I was cleaning out my sewing/art/music studio today and ran across a packing slip from last July. It was when I ordered the printed 3/4 sleeve hi-low hem tunic . I LOVE all the ones I already have. Any chance you will have new colors for Spring 2017? Maybe in a lime/yellow??
And maybe bring back the Flame?
I just ordered your newest color on the tunic-the pale aqua. Boy!! Do I have Spring fever!! I never buy winter clothing past December 1.
    It’s just who I am♡!

    1. louis dell'olio

They will be coming back, but not in Lime/Yellow

      1. Shari

It’s good to hear they are coming back, even if there is no lime/yellow.
        I’ll be waiting.

  24. Chris S.

    Louis,
Sadly, with my body type, I’m not able to wear the Kate shirt. In order for it to fit around the middle, the shoulder area is way too huge. The wing collar shirt is a little better as there seems to be a little more ease around the middle. Would you consider making a shirt in a style that is less fitted? I love the fabric and would love to have some pretty shirts in the classic style, but less fitted.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Chris, I will give it serious consideration. I just have to be careful that they don’t become to boxy, which is always a risk with cotton shirts. Cotton as a fabric doesn’t have much drape.

      1. Chris S.

Thank you for considering my request. I’m sure there are many of us “narrow shouldered pears.” I understand your concerns with drape of the cotton.

      2. Judi

        Louis-
The Kate shirt, as much as I love it, doesn’t work for me either. Have you given any thought to redoing the Robyn shirt….with a slight change so it can be considered a new item?
        Thanks!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have….a few times but they don’t select???

      3. Romy

Perhaps redoing the Poet Shirt, A213626?

  25. Goldie76

What color, do you think, greeted me as I entered Lord & Taylor today? It was your Spring Green. They had a very nice jacket and top in the color that makes one think of warmer weather and lush lawns and greenery. Elements of navy and white were worked in with the pieces.

Thank you, once more, for keeping us ahead of the curve.

  26. Shan

I feel like I am in a detox program but it is not working. I am not sure how much longer I can go without a sneak peak. Help!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Coming this weekend

      1. Beryl

It’s going to snow in Coastal NC. Waiting for sneak peaks to cheer me up. thought I left bad weather in Boston.

  27. Emma

I am having sneak peak withdrawal symptoms!!! (LOL)

May you and Jac have a blessed, happy and prosperous New Year!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Coming soon.

      1. More of your sold-out items, please!

Louis, I love your Whisper Knit! Unbeatable quality and style, so much better quality than see-through fabrics by other Q “designers”, which I avoid. Please replenish your sold-out items at QVC! I would buy multiples, but lately most of my favorites have been sold out in colors I’d like to have. Love your Navy and Olive and the Purple turtleneck sweater is terrific! Please consider more Navy, Olive, Eggplant and how about a true Emerald green! I’m a redhead….need more green! Thanks for listening!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would love to do more emerald green. I had a beautiful color called malachite, a few years ago that everyone loved, but every time I mention emerald green the buyers, which were not the buyers who purchased the malachite, are not interested. I’ll keep trying. I will be doing some fabulous colors for red heads both this spring and next fall!

    2. Shan

Emma – I did not read your post before I posted the same thing.

  28. Beryl

So sad to learn that 2 elephants died at the Sanctuary. Thanks to you I have adopted an elephant and have become a regular contributer. They do an outstanding job.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, we got the note too. It’s a very sad day at the Santuary.

    2. By the C

Thanks now to you, I have researched this place and will do the same. Best wishes.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

You make my heart feel good.

  29. Barbara C

    Dear Louis,

I’m cold and want to pack up my beautiful Linea summer clothes and take a vacation in the Caribbean. Do you and Jac have a favorite resort there? Thank you!

    Barbara C.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes….we love the Island of Anguilla……there is a small airport so no large jets, and there is no deep water harbor so no cruise ships at all. It is a lovely quiet Island with very little crime.

      1. blinddogs

I’ve been to Anguilla once, many years ago and loved the beauty and peace/quiet of the place. We took a small speedboat from the French side of St. Martins, where we used to stay very often in the village of Grand Case– home of many fabulous restaurants. Fond memories…and a place I’d love to be right now with the cold winds whipping across the Chesapeake Bay…-Blinddogs

        1. louis dell'olio

Jac and I do just the opposite…..We take a boat over to St. Martin, shop and have dinner at one of the sea side French restaurants. Fond memories for sure.

  30. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis, Happy New Year!! I was thinking ahead to warmer times and bought A266305
Printed Cardigan and Tank Set in the curry. It is just the thing to wear while I am in the golf cart watching my hubby play which is one of our favorite pastimes. I can hardly wait to get it. Looking forward to seeing what spring fashions we are going to see.

  31. Victoria1

    Dear Louis and Jac,
Hope you and the girls are having lovely Christmas holidays and wishing for a wonderful New Year for you and yours.
I thought about you on Christmas Eve. My grandson Jack’s birthday is on Christmas day, but we were flying out to Los Angeles
On Christmas afternoon. No cooking! We decided to just go out to dinner on Christmas eve, but I did not want to dress dress for dinner. I was exhausted from packing all my whisper knit and ponte pants! Miracle of fashion is your v neck, TN or ballet neck swing sweaters. I grabbed a black ballet neck over jeans and high heel ankle boots…Your long cylindral necklace in silver Your cuff bracelet in silver, my diamond earrings and I looked like a million bucks…easy peasy. I am a California girl having lived lin LA and SF. Dressing in casual chic has been a life long activity. So your sportswear pieces have for years (AnneKlein) been the backbone of my closet. As I have grown older, your Linea line has allowed me to be stay casually chic/ And competitive with any woman in the room! Your brilliant designs with all the QVC constraints still bring us highly competitive options to what is seen in high end brick and Mortar stores. I am always chuckling to myself when i go shopping with my daughter. The prices and the quality. We are very very lucky to have you at QVC!
    Thank you
    V

    1. sharke

      Will U be bringing back A232350 ?
      Thanks!

      1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sharke….when anything from any vendor goes on clearance or “last clicks” it has hit the end of the road and will not be reordered.

        1. sharke

awww I loved the denim selection with the gold buttons did get the white though
          Thanks!

          1. luvitorleaveit

Me too I wanted the yellow at least but I did get the white and blue.

            1. sharke

I’m hoping somebody by the Spring does the bleached denim with gold buttons. I got up teen silver button jackets.

          2. Louis Dell'Olio

Sharks…….maybe a set of gold buttons would be less money than a new jacket

            1. sharke

I tried that, but, you can’t remove them LOL Machine punched in.

    2. Goldie76

Victoria, you expressed my feelings of gratitude for the Linea line perfectly. May QVC be WISE ENOUGH to continue offering us Louis’s garments and jewelry. Frankly, I don’t know what I would do without Linea at this point in my life. Louis helps us strike a beautiful balance between age-appropriateness and contemporary chic. Bless that man! May he always be healthy, creative and employed!

      1. Amanda Barber

I mention how much I love Linea on the QVC Facebook page every time I get a chance. Seems like there is a handful of designers that get the bulk of the attention which to me is not fair or deserved.

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Amanda…..I learned a long time ago nothing is fair. I can only guess what designers you are referring to, and if I am correct they shouldn’t even be called designers. They are all under one manufacturers umbrella and have huge contracts with QVC so they will always get preferential treatment…..That’s just the way it is, but there are two sides to every coin. They have to be there all the time which is something I would not want. Once a month with one or two outside hits is fine with me.So I have to leave it up to all of you to spread the good word.

          1. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis, Maybe the word copycat is more fitting than designer. Glad you get to keep your privacy and time to yourself to be able to get the perfection we all love. I do not see how some of them have time to design because they are always on the air. Guess they just have to rush through it and scribble like mad.

  32. Beth

    Louis
I want to thank you for your wonderful whisper knit pieces. I attended my Company’s holiday party earlier this month. I wore my new scarlet red swing turtleneck along with the whisper knit mid calf skirt in black (A257384, that I am so happy to hear will return next fall) and the Linea body tights in black. To top it all off I wore my red button front swing coat (A257286). Well, I felt very well dressed and warm as the temperature reading in my car said 16° when I arrived that evening at the venue. I felt stylish, put together and very comfortable and I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful whisper knit collection and all the effort you put into your entire clothing collection. Happy New Year!

    Beth

  33. TrishM

Hi Louis. hope Christmas was wonderful! Mine was… and so today I am just lounging around in my lace up hoodie…so comfortable and I look fabulous! Thanks for all your designs!!! all the best in 2017!!!

  34. luvitorleaveit

Louis I knew your clothing stood out but today at church I wore A229475 blazer in malachite over a similiar green speckled with black dress I already own and J271861 in the olive color with my gold earrings and my pastor from the pulpit called me out by name to say how beautiful I look in that green in front of the whole congregation; I saw a lot of red but I must admit I was the only one in such a beautiful green I got a lot of smiles and nods, next time I will wear the malachite wk skirt with the jacket. I just want to thank you for all the beautiful clothing and jewelry you have given us all these years and you just keep getting better and better….looking forward to your designs in 2017! All the best and Happy Holidays to you and Jac.

  35. MadameDuFiffers

    Dear Louis and Jac,

Wishing you and yours the Merriest Christmas and Happiest Chanukah ever! And a blessed, healthy, prosperous New Year.

While I love this festive time of year, I admit to anxiously awaiting your new collection…I’m having withdrawal symptoms!

    Sincerely,

    Madame

Don’t worry, Louis, I plan on nabbing another seed bead necklace. Beautifully executed; no other seed bead necklace even comes close to yours. Not even in the same playing field as yours.

I know I sent you the link to the article on the future closing of Saks Jandel. Well, the moment has come and today’s “Washington Post” had a dominant ad for them on page 3 of the “A” section. Very sad. It read, in part: “After 128 years [they were established in 1888], the END of a LEGEND. STORE CLOSING. Five days only. 70 – 90% We’re winding up 128 years as Washington’s fashion leader with a fitting finale, 70-90% off the great designer fashions we’ve been known for in three centuries. Take this one last chance to enjoy history=making savings on the likes of…” They were in THREE CENTURIES!

Discouraging and sad, no? Even the “big” ones are falling. Yep, grab the jewels while you can.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

More then sad….heart breaking. They are going the way of Best &Co, Altmans, Bonwit Teller. It’s a huge problem for established and new designers as there are fewer and fewer stores to sell to. Between buying on line and cheap discount stores the designer business will be wiped out unless you are part of a huge conglomerate. With few outlets for designers, the column gets smaller and the prices have to go up which is making the designer business just for the .1 percent of the country. The business is so different from when I started, and certainly not for the better. I’m glad I started in the early 70s when everything was wonderful! I think it will be inevitable that Neimans and Bergdorfs will follow suit in a few years. First of all the designer clothes that they carry are for such a limited audience that at the end of the season everything is on sale. Lines like Anne Klein don’t exist anymore. Lines that were fashionable but realistic. If you want a good laugh go to Vogue.com and click “runway shows”….then click on Gucci….it’s truly clown clothes…..anyone who buys them deserves them. When you get passed the ridiculous accessories the clothes themselves are actually matronly.

      1. Goldie76

What times we live in, Louis. The acceleration of change is vastly different for those who will age in this 21st century. The speed is so different from what we and our parents (and grandparents) experienced that we can only feel compassion for what the new generations will experience in their lifetime. From revered institutions to structures that are personally meaningful, the new generations will have nothing that hangs around for a significant period of time. There will be no real community.

Designers will have nowhere to show their work as you did. How many other professions are going to suffer with this new way of life? Yes, all generations have experienced change, but what is going on now is nothing short of breathtaking and life-altering.

New isn’t always better. And now we also live in a new age of believing in lies — just because we want to believe them. A noble and sane life is based on truth.

        1. louis dell'olio

          Amen

      2. julie

OMG Louis I took your advice & checked out the Gucci garments! Ay yi yi!!! That was the most bizarre collection I’ve ever seen & the backdrops made it even weirder. Would that be considered avant-garde? Or was it put together by some psychotic unstable person who pushed the envelope off a cliff LOL.. But the cats were cute..

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Julie….the backdrops were actual places. One was a very old drug store. The fashion editors have given this designer such praise that I personally think it’s too late for them to critic him now. The Gucci bags and shoes are selling incredible well, and when you see the clothes in the stores they are edited so it doesn’t look so bazaar. However, this IS HIS MESSAGE, and he wouldn’t show it this way if he didn’t believe in it. If another designer showed outfits like this the fashion critics would have called them “fashion victims”, which they are, but they are giving him a pass. I thought the designer that preceded him designed beautiful WEARABLE clothes, but was fired. It’s a crazy world all the way around. I have seen women in his clothes…..very tamed down, and as I said, looking a little matronly.

      3. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

The Gucci Menswear makes me want to cry! Said the mother of 5 sons and sister to 9 brothers.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Why is that Nancy?…….Lol……I was a teen during the Nehru jacket, and
The Love necklaces. Carnaby St. was pretty out there, but they were all reflections of a social movement. These clothes look so out of place, and really ridiculous. The only guy I have seen wearing them is the actor Leto ( don’t remember his first name, Jarred?), and he looks like a clown. It really isn’t like me to critic another designers clothes, and I do respect his bravado, but his statement is just saying “look at me”.

          1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

I’m all for classic or classy style for men but that stuff is indescribable. And Nehru jackets were just fine but some of these current fashion – YIKES – looks like it would be hard to pull off with a straight face. 🙂 Sadly, one wonders, what the hapless wearer might be “saying” when wearing his “look at me” creations.

      4. Sheesh

OMG, I so remember Best & Co.—I loved that store! All my clothes came from Best & Co. when I was growing up on Long Island. We used to make a day trip to Garden City from our home in Greenlawn in Suffolk County. My mother had a personal shopper, Miss Puttrick, and she would have many clothes pre-selected for us and hanging in the dressing room when we got there. She would also send out via UPS a huge box of dresses to the house in time for the opening of school. We would select what we liked and they would come out and pick up the remainder. Such service! Those were the days. I hated it when I switched to Catholic School and uniforms in the 3rd grade–the end of my beautiful selection of school dresses!

  37. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

We had a sudden cold snap, so I wanted to be sure that I would be warm enough when we went to early church this morning. I wore your Blue Tweed Herringbone Jacket (A238540), Skirt (A238541), and Shawl (A238542) with the Lapis Blue Turtleneck Sweater (A72448) and the Blue Hammered Button Clip Earrings (J284037). I certainly was warm enough and got numerous compliments to boot.

The quality of your creations is amazing. You make dressing easy with such beautifully designed and constructed garments and coordinating jewelry. I can always count on looking great and feeling confident whenever I wear Linea.

Thanks for all you do for us throughout the year: designing gorgeous clothing and jewelry and giving outfit coordination advice for wearing your creations on your blog and during your QVC presentations.

I hope you, Jac, and the girls have the merriest of Christmases and an outstanding New Year!

  38. Goldie76

As my thoughts wandered today on the way to shopping, an idea popped into my head. It is probably too late for this for 2017, but could we have a modest earring to go with the gorgeously flamboyant seed bead necklaces? Yes, a small gold hoop or whatever will always do, but for some reason, I had a sudden yearning for something with matchy-matchy beads. If you agree and can arrange for their production in the future, I would be prefer that the earring not be very long — no matter how you design it.

I really would like the bead colors to be in the earring; to me, it is often a flattering look.

Thanks for “listening,” Louis. Hope you and Jac are enjoying warm times in your lovely home.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie…as you know the seed bead necklaces sold out quicker then you can say seed bead, but all colors will be returning….I believe in May…..I haven’t done a special earring to go with it because I believe women already own a basic gold earring. I will show them with the bold hoop earring, but the Demi hoop, which is finally sold out in gold, will work well too. There will be a wonderful new gold cuff to go with it.

      1. Goldie76

Great news that all colors are returning. I was fortunate to get the turquoise and peridot necklaces and wanted the black as well, but felt I had to hold the line somewhere to contain my extreme self-indulgence. Looking forward to that one (better have a large inventory this time out, Louis — LOL). I understand about the gold hoops; they are what I have used.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie……I am a strong believer in being self indulgent. You only pass through this life once….so if you want the cake….EAT IT!

  39. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

    Dear Louis,
I hope you and Jac are enjoying this holiday season! I am loving my new outfits and must share two stories:
Today I wore the umber tights, cream turtleneck, umber long zip Shetland cardigan, the red whisper knit scarf, the brown jewel pin and red Bogs snow boots (we have a fresh 6″ of snow) to the dentist. All of the staff literally came out of their exam rooms to fuss over my outfit! They wanted to know where I bought the tights, and of course I told them to run to the internet to get them before they sell out!
Over the weekend I visited a friend to exchange gifts. I wore black leggings, black swing turtleneck, red poncho, and scarlet red suede booties and black jet beads. She was outside when I arrived and on her cell phone with her husband. She squealed, “A big red elf just arrived Fred!”. We laughed and the she too wanted to know item #for the poncho.
Thank you so much for making it incredibly easy to put together spectacular outfits!
    Love, Susan

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Susan….I’m really enjoying reading your story and all of the stories the other Linea Ladies are sharing. This is why I do what I do, because I believe I can make all women feel and be their beautiful selves

  40. Yvette

Help, Louis! Just took out my Byzantine necklace (J264037) and it’s broken. I guess I need that address to send it away to be fixed. Sorry I didn’t write it down when you posted the address for others. I do so hope that it can be fixed!

On a happier note, the two-sided cross in silver is winging its way to me. I’ve eyed it for a long time and couldn’t resist ordering during one of those 5 EZ pay specials. Santa just doesn’t know he’s giving it to me yet, heh heh.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yvette……so sorry to hear about your necklace. There are three Byzantine necklace, so I’m not sure which one you have. The address is:

      Repairs Department
      c/o TCJC LLC
      3B Industrial Drive
      Smithfield, RI 02917

Send a brief letter stating that you are a QVC customer, and what is wrong with the necklace. Enclose a check for $7.50 for return shipping. Be sure to have your name and return address on the letter.

      1. Yvette

I have them all (who could resist?) but it’s J264037 that’s broken. Thanks so much for the address!

        1. louis dell'olio

Let me know how it turns out.

          1. Yvette

I’m going to wait until after the holidays to send it because I don’t want to take any chances of my necklace getting lost in the mailing/shipping madness that that happens during this period right before Christmas. So I’ll send it to them right after the first of the year. I’ll definitely let you know how it goes. And Louis, a very Merry Christmas to you, Jac & the “girls”! (My silver reversible cross arrived today, so I’m already feeling merry.)

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yvette, I think that’s a good idea. Enjoy your cross. I know you will enjoy the fact that it’s double sided……I too hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!

  41. Mimi

Just wanted to wish you, Jac and the girls a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and HEALTHY New Year. Please tell Jac, I hope her back is much better now. Always remember, when it comes to the back, day by day. Stay well and enjoy each other.

  42. Linda in AZ

Hello Louis, I put on a pair of the trouser socks this morning, and love them. The other ladies have probably already commented on the need for more colors. But I am going to chime in. It would be great to have these in navy, gray, aubergine, and walnut/tobacco. Ivory would be nice for our winter white pants. Hope you and Jac are enjoying the Christmas season.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Linda, if they get reordered I appreciate your suggestions.

  43. Kathy/Wis

Attention ladies: A238537 the sequin top has just been marked down to $25. Just ordered mine in red.

    1. Melissa

Thanks for the heads up! Want the red, but need to decide which size to get. Am in between, but after reading reviews in thinking I’ll go up to the XS.

  44. 1jac

Good morning Louis. Just had to tell you how elegant I felt the other evening attending a fundraising candlelit dinner. I wore the v neck sequin top you recently mentioned to us in red, the scarlet wk skirt and those fabulous tuxedo tights, beautiful jewelry and I was set. Topping it off, even though the temperature was frigid, the glorious red coat! ( I wasn’t going to let cold weather stop me!) Thank you so much for all you do for us! Elegance, sophistication at an unbelievable price!! I wish you and Jac a wonderful Christmas.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jac….your outfit sounds splendid, and perfect for your Holiday event.

  45. Melissa

    Louis,

Sitting here sipping my coffee in front of my Christmas tree with my puppy on my lap. Just put on my first pair of leggings from you. I’m usually a jeans girl, but thought I’d try these with my blackberry Shetland sweater which I’m finally able to wear since it’s a little cooler today. Love the leggings! So comfy, will have to get more. The sweater is so comfy and luscious. Another winner!

Also want to say that I’m so happy I got the new crew WK. Was afraid it’d be too short (the turtleneck was a little short in the torso and sleeves, but I kept it anyway because I love the lilac). But thankfully the crew fits great! Got the winter white, espresso, and black. May have to get the beautiful red too.

And, I love all your swing sweaters. Was unsure if I needed the wine color, but it is a beautiful rich color.

While I love all your designs, I have to say you make great basics that aren’t basic. They are special.

Have a wonderful weekend! Have to get going, have lots to do today…

    Melissa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Enjoy the day. I would suggest you get what ever leggings you think you may want, because they are on clearance and aren’t coming back. I think they are perfect for Florida.

  46. Anonymous

Hi Louis…I have been a customer of yours for many years via QVC, and have truly enjoyed your very quality products and classic designs. I was sadly surprised over the recent change to the emphasis on the casual line of clothing, and just wanted you to know how much I would appreciate it if you would reinstate the lovely things you brought to QVC previously. Thanks very much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Anonymous, I am trying to make the line more diversified. With so many women retiring there is a need for more relaxed clothing. I can assure you that there will a variety of styles to choose from to keep everyone happy. The line can’t be one way or the other. I will say the buyers have not chosen many tailored jackets as a category. I believe this is due to difficulties fitting many different body types and high returns. Out of all the jackets, over the years, very few have been reordered, and most have been drastically reduced to sell them. There are still many jackets in inventory…..and then there is the issue of increasing prices.

  47. luvitorleaveit

Louis- I received my super slim leg ponte pants in espresso and they are fab_u_lous! Wearing them today with my espresso crew neck sweater also fab_u_lous and my chocolate Linea pieces and my brown animal print shoes. The crew neck is my favorite I brought the red and the winter white also. I am so addicted to your whisper knit items the weight and the feel is so yummy. I already left my rave reviews.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear luvitorleaveit, I am very happy you love your pant and sweater. I only wish there were more like you. As you can see the pants are still avail in petites and reg. and the sweater is still avail. in all colors and practically all sizes, so I doubt they will be reordered. I would have thought these two styles in particular, being so classic, would have blown out, but that’s not the case. I had many requests for these items, and that’s why I did them, but I guess the requests were not as universal as I thought. I realize that some found the pant too short, but that happens to be the standard for regular pants on QVC. I’m one of the few who pushes for a 32 inch inseam, but that was not accepted for this straight leg version. Besides that, there should be plenty of women who are of average height that the 30″ inseam would be ideal…..so I scratch my head and push on.

      1. Judy

Louis if you will check the QVC forums the reason the straight leg pants weren’t a hit is the length! I realize this is beyond your control but they are too short for so many and the petite ladies are returning the petite for the regular length. If the regular length is fitting the petites, what are the average and tall ladies to do?

Is there anyway you can get the buyers to just read the forums. They explain everything!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I forwarded your reply to my buyers. I don’t know why they fight me all the time with the length issue. They claim that the 30″ length is what they do for Neman vendors successfully. For next Spring the pants will be 32″.

          1. Judy

Thank you, that is music to our ears!

            1. breee

Even though I wear an xs or s I do not normally wear leggings or tights for leisure wear. I did purchase two pairs of the leggings but never wore. I did not like the band at the bottom of the leg.
I prefer more “heft” to the fabric for winter wear.

I do like the Linea ponte pants for leisure wear during the winter around the house. The Linea pant that I wear for leisure wear is item A256444 which is the perfect length for me @5 feet 4 inches. Fortunately I did purchase multiples when it was offered. Thus the new petite length ponte pant was too short for me and the other length offered too long.

In the past I only purchased Linea and would normally have purchased at least two pairs in the colors I wear. Since QVC is no longer offering a length that works for me I had to locate other sources to purchase ponte pants with the 29″ inseam. I might have purchased the new regular length even though these are 30″ and I could have turned the hem up and hand sewn it, but I don’t need more black. I do not wear brown.

I did need more navy and grey pants or hunter green or wine or patterns. I have hunter green ponte pants from WHBM that go well with the green/magenta faux Shetland cardigan and grey ponte pants from WHBM that work with the blue/grey faux Shetland cardigan.

So that is one reason why I have not purchased as much Linea as I did in the past.

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bree, thanks for your input. It is good to know.

          2. WNYGal/April

No one will ever be happy with pants length, it is so subjective. Short torso, long torso, short legs, long legs, it’s impossible to please us all with every pair. Personally, my perfect length is 31″, so I’ll be shortening those 32’s that will make SOME talls happy, though hardly all, & most of us mid-heights go to the tailors. I’m content with these 30″ length pontes with flats, & if I want to wear a heeled boot, I will wear the 32″. First world problems, indeed.

          3. Joanne

            Hi Louis

I have purchased both lengths of your espresso as well as black straight leg pants. When I wear 3″ high heels I wear the longer version and for my booties the petite. I absolutely love these pants – they are so slimming. I really cannot believe how slimming they are. You are the master at draping and fitting clothing. I look like a sylph in all of your clothes, but especially these pants.

            1. louis dell'olio

That’s great to hear…..unfortunately they will not be reordered. You may want to think about getting doubles in black so you’ll always have them.

      2. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis, Don’t fret. I am going to buy a lot more sweaters and other pieces but since it is near Christmas I am having to use all my funds for gifts for others. My selfish side says “Bah Humbug”. Loving my leggings and now have three pair and want to get the umber next, I can think of so many things in my closet they will go with. Merry Christmas!

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Amanda…..I’m really not “fretting” for myself, but when I know something good is being discontinued…that really shouldn’t be….I feel badly that I won’t be able to offer it any more and bring all of you the newest colors, but that’s the way it is.

          1. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis I understand what you meant, I guess I used the wrong word and I apologize for that.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Amanda….absolutely no need to apologize ! I thought what you said was very sweet, and I totally know you were coming from a sympathic and caring place. If my response made you think anything but that….then I apologize!

      3. luvitorleaveit

Louis I too first ordered the petite pant and found them just a smidgen too short so I exchanged for the regular. Both the sweater and the pants are classic pieces indeed. I agree with Judy that the buyers should read what the Linea ladies are saying on the boards.

      4. Cathy In PA

        Dear Louis,

I also held of on a few basics till the bulk of my Christmas shopping expenses were done. I received the wonderful and surprisingly lovely Tobacco V Neck Swing Sweater today, and the crew neck sweater in white. Love both, and I reordered the white sweater one size down. I will keep both sizes for wear with different pieces, and decide which size I prefer, and order the remaining colors then. i seldom wear turtlenecks, but “free shipping” made me put that gorgeous Navy Turtleneck Swing sweater in the order too 🙂 For just this once, I’m glad something was left, as with travel etc., I missed Wine and Blackberry …

        Thanks, Louis!

    2. DiAnne

I am one of the “pants too short” group. I love slim leg pants and would have definitely been a customer for the pant and the crew neck sweater.

  48. Debi

    Louis…

Would you please consider doing a blanket or large throw in Whisper Knit? Also, is there any chance you could do pajamas in that fabric as well? Thank You!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debi…..I had a hard enough time convincing the buyers to buy the shawl, which only did fair [olive is still avail]. I doubt they would ever consider buying a throw. With the budgets the way they are I wouldn’t want one of my new styles to be a throw instead of a garment. Honestly, I don’t think Whisper Knit is suitable for PJs.

  49. Goldie76

The other day my “Linea Leisure Zip-Front Hoodie” (A270903) in taupe arrived. I already happily owned the jacket in slate blue, so its flattering fit and look were revealed to me earlier. But wow, what a stylish color that taupe is! So sophisticated, so on a different plane from other mundane shades. I cannot say enough about how “classy” the taupe shade is. Hate that word, but it conveys my intent so perfectly. This taupe goes so well with dark greens, charcoal grey and blacks, of course, as well as so many other colors. There is another dimension to your taupe. It is special and displays a certain “je ne sais quoi,” as they say. I’m really wild over this taupe, and I’m a brunette.

  50. Beryl

    Dear Louis,
The other day you recommended the 3 bar necklace in chocolate which i ordered. Well, it just arrived and it is a beauty. I’ve been blind to the chocolate pieces and I realized I have missed out on a treasure. More of them coming home.
    Love to you and Jac,
    Beryl

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beryl……as much as I love silver and gold there is a world out there of different metal finishes. I have a color chart of around 50 different plating colors…..Between matte and oxidized and antiques finishes alone there are so many to choose from. Chocolate and Gunmetal are just two and barely scratch the surface of possibilities, but they are two very important colors to expand they way you can accessorize and create totally different moods from your classic gold and silver. With just gold platings alone there is you 12 karat [which is a whiter gold], 14, 24 and Russian gold…….I am very happy you tried the chocolate…..I love how it looks on so many colors. Colors you would never have thought to try it with…..so have a good time playing with your new chocolate Bar necklace….it’s a beauty.

  51. Buttercups

Hi Louis, I just missed the love knot necklace and had been eyeing it since its debut. Would you consider reviving it? Thank you! I have your fish scale necklace and another two-tone station necklace, and wear them all the time, receive compliments often. Love you.

  52. Judy

Hi Louis, I’m still asking for a long tail button down “boyfriend” shirt in your wonderful cotton. Much like the Kate shirt only more relaxed, maybe drop shoulder and longer in length to wear with leggings. I would love this in white, red, and navy. As much as I love your leggings I can only wear them with extra Long tops that have complete booty coverage. Please consider this request. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy, from the success of my very first cotton Poet’s shirt, A213626, which was reordered 4 times [now on last clicks], and the Robyn shirt, I have been sketching boyfriend shirts. However, they are never chosen, and I have fought for them. I can only guess they have “boyfriend” shirts from other vendors and don’t want to compete. No, it isn’t fair, but that’s baseball!

      1. Judy

Thank you for trying. For the record, my favorite shirt is still the Poet shirt. I have every color and multiplies in several of the colors. My very favorite being the navy!

  53. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis, I was looking over your designs and found something I love. A267869
Zip Front Hooded Dress. I saw that it was sold out except for one size (not my size), I was wondering if this beauty is retiring or may come back? I just love it and would have many occasions to wear it. Thanks, you had a great show today.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Amanda, unfortunately that dress was not reordered so it is retired. I realize the women that did purchase it loved it so I have made another sketch of a hoodie dress to take it’s place……don’t know if it will be chosen.

      1. Amanda Barber

Dear Louis, I hope they will choose it. I have learned a lot about how QVC works from reading your blog. So much more to it than I imagined. I did not know that you submitted the designs and they choose the ones they like. It is an interesting process.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Amanda….it really is no different from showing a line to any retail store like Saks, Bloomies, Nordstroms, Neimans etc.. They come to the showroom review the clothes and make a selection. The difference with QVC is….since they have to work so far in advance they select from the sketches….the samples are made and then they do their final selection. Like any other store….it’s their money…..it’s their buy.

Louis, did you and Jac see the Vera Bradley Scotty dog throws on the Q today? I think these are a must Santa present for the girls! I know this is off your fashion blog topic but I could not resist sending the message. Enjoy the day!

Hi Louis I hope you and Jac had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I most certainly did not only with food, family and friends but the day before I received the cobalt and cinnabar necklaces, WK long sleeve sweater in red and the new super ponte pants in expresso, the mixed media sweater in blue arrived after being on waitlist since your October show and last but not least the taupe ponte pants restocked in my size so I am truly over the moon! I luv, luv, luv all my goodies. Thanks so much!

Louis, for Thanksgiving day I wore the Vneck swing sweater and the new black ponte pants with sparkly sandals and crystal/gold hoop earrings. We ate out for Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant that has open dining on decks built out over the water. I chose this outfit because it could have been warm or we could have had to deal with cool winds off the Gulf. We had a bit of both. It was the perfect outfit – elegant yet totally comfortable for sitting on patio furniture on wood decking. I believe my black V-neck swing sweater is my favorite sweater of all time…and that’s 60 years of sweaters! Thank you for such a great garment.

Wow what a stressful morning, I noticed there was 5 easy pays on Linea. I always buy something when it is 5 easy pays and I nearly drove myself nuts trying to decide what I wanted. There are so many things I want. It was a battle between the Super Ponte straight leg pants in black or the Mixed Media Pointelle Top in blue. I watched the presentations and finally decided on the top. Mainly because I have 2 dogs and two (white) horses that I am in contact with every day and I knew they would wreck the black ponte pants. Louis if you could create a fabric that would repel pet hair I would buy everything in every color. You could become a wealthy man! I know, I am just dreaming. Can’t wait to get the top and was so happy to see it was available in my size. I will get the pants next time. Hope everyone is having a great day!

    Dear Louis,

I had a grand disappointment today, and it is not your fault or that of your jewelry manufacturer. Rather, the blame rests at the feet of QVC’s so-called “quality control.” Frankly, I was stunned by what I received today.

My three-strand pearls in grey (J296624) arrived, and I was eager to see this unusual beauty. When I opened the box, the necklace was inside the usual black net bag. Normal. But then I pulled a plastic bag out of the black net bag — the sort of resealable bag used for sandwiches – – and inside was the necklace. When I removed the necklace from the plastic bag, a couple loose pearls fell here and there. The middle strand of the necklace was broken; it had separated from the point where it attaches to the end part.

Suddenly a light came on! Someone had received this necklace broken, or had broken it herself, and then placed all pieces in the sandwich bag and shipped it back to QVC. It is clear that QVC’s “quality control” never even looked at the returned necklace and just placed the box, unexamined, back on the shelf to go out in the next order. How careless and sloppy can they get?

Maybe you can alert higher management that some things are being done shabbily. Thanks, Louis.

Dear Goldie…I will forward your message directly to my buyer. I think you are right. If someone put the beads in a sandwich bag I’m sure they must have advised that it was broken. It is very sloppy to just put it back into inventory in that state. What do you plan to do?

      1. Goldie76

Do you advise an exchange or that I send them to Rhode Island? They are strung on metal strings, if that makes a difference.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie….I think you should get an exchange. You shouldn’t be shipped a broken necklace in a sandwich bag….that really is outrageous! and they should make good for it…..Why should you have to pay the shipping to RI? If you get a new one and it should break then RI would be an option. They would probably string it better then the new one anyway, but definitely have QVC replace it with a curt letter from you.

          1. Goldie76

Thank you, Louis. I will exchange it for another one.

Lesson learned! Bought the heather gray swing TN awhile back in large. Received package tossed it in my sweater area in closet but did not open plastic transparent package to check size. I never have. Yesterday getting ready to go to a friend for Thanksgiving dinner. Planned on wearing my heather gray ponte pants with matching swing sweater. While ironing the TN, noticed sleeves were very narrow, peeped in and they sent me an xs….If you heard a weird noise it was me screaming. Would have had plenty of time to exchange it, if only opened pkg and confirmed size/ no longer have my size in gray!
I did get the regular TN so all is not lost.
    Had great Thanksgiving dinner though!
    Hope everyone else did!

    1. wendee

Just wondering would you consider selling me the xs sweater if you still have it?!?!

    2. Carol

Holiday returns are in effect until Jan. You should request a refund of shipping, too, since it was their error.

Happy Thanksgiving Louis to you, Jac and your Girls.

I recently stopped in Cartier’s to see an exhibit of Grace Kelly’s jewels. (In Linea, of course) While I was admiring a sapphire bead and diamond necklace, the salesman was admiring your Gold Ribbon Necklace I was wearing. How’s that for a compliment!

  61. Beryl

Wishing you Jac and the girls a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’ll be decked out in all Linea.

  62. Enjay

Louis, as a lipstick fan, I’ve always admired Jac’s great lipstick choices. I just saw the photos of her in the red poncho. Would she share what gorgeous red lipstick she’s wearing? And maybe her favorite lipsticks? Cause I’m a firm believer that basic black and the right red lipstick will get you far! And she really should start her own beauty and style blog. Who wouldn’t want to look like Jac!?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Enjay….so sorry for my tardy reply….Jac said she was wearing her new favorite. It’s from “Urban Decay” #714 Mega Matte. She sometimes wears it as is and sometimes adds some gloss. She gets it as Sephora, and also says it doesn’t bleed.

      1. Enjay

Thanks so much – off to order!

  63. Debby

Difference between expresso wk sweater color and walnut wk skirt color? Is the sizing different in the new wk sweater compared to the original lI’m between a small and a medium in your tops some times one sometimes another!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The walnut is darker so they should be fine together. I’m not sure what two sweaters you are comparing?

      1. Debby

ENR classic sweater ,and the original, that you just highlighted- would love the expresso now!

  64. Seka

    Louis,
I can’t believe we won’t have any Sneak Peeks until mid-January 2017! Will be having major Linea Withdrawal Symptoms by the beginning of December!

Thank you for everything that you do to make sure we look like we’ve spent thousands of dollars on our outfits! I have said this many times – I wear something Linea every day.

Wishing you and Jac a Happy Thanksgiving!

  65. Kathy/Wis

    Dear Louis
I was wondering if you would do some white jewelry ? I would especially like some nice substantial brackets.
Wishing you and Jac a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. Looking forward to all you have in store for us in 2017.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy, white jewelry isn’t as easy as you might think. Keeping it young looking and not matronly is a challenge. I had done some chunky white bracelets. Jac is wearing them on her face book page, but they didn’t want them?…..Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
