Louis,
According to the QVC2 Program Guide, on April 19 you will be on for 6 different one-hour time slots starting at 12 am and going through the day until 6 pm. I am assuming you will have a TSV (yea!). I do not get QVC2 on my tv so I will be watching on my computer. I don’t have the ability to tape these shows (not happy) and want to know if you can find out if all the shows will be live or if some will be repeats. I am having LDO withdrawal and need to schedule my day accordingly. Thanks!
Mary go to my “Pages” sections. I have ALL of my dates and times of live appearances.
Ok-will compare your listings with QVC2 so I don’t miss your live shows. I know QVC is moving several shows/hosts to this channel so I will have to keep an eye on the program guide. Thanks for your reply and enjoy the sunshine today!
DearLouis,
I have been a devoted fan of your whisper knits for years now, and always anxiously await your newest designs. Needless to say, your newest tank and long cardigan are now in my closet in all 3 colors. They are beautiful and flattering. Please consider more of these in your perfectly pink, aqua mist, pale grey, alabaster, turquoise, periwinkle, any of your stunning colors would be most welcome. Thank you so for dressing women so beautifully!
Dear Susang…..I am happy to hear you are enjoying your long cardigan and tank. I have serious doubts the cardigan will be reordered since the selling was only fair, which really surprised me as longer cardigans have been successful at QVC. The tunic tank can go either way.
Hi Louis, I received many compliments this weekend wearing your Mardi Gras necklace. Just love it.
Thank you! Hi to Jac.
Elaine
Great to hear!
Louis..In early 2009 you offered a sleeveless split neck tunic (A80721) that was rayon & nylon blend. It had round armholes, front seam details and two front slant hip pockets. The colors that you offered were expresso, turquoise and chino (medium beige). Because of the round hemline it is timeless. I was lucky to purchase all three colors. This tunic has taken me to numerous weddings, cruises and other special and casual events. It looks like silk and it looks so expensive. Every time I wear it I receive compliments from both men and women. I remember when presented this tunic sold out quickly. Is there a slim chance that you will repeat this tunic again in more colors?
Dear Clark55, I remember the top well. As I recall it was in an iridescent “shine” fabric that was very “in” at the time. I actually don’t think it did as well as you remember because there were many who didn’t understand the fabric, and thought it was inexpensive, which it was not. I even did a long button front swing skirt in the same fabric and I think another style top too. Is it the style you liked or the fabric? It’s a very classic style. What do you mean about the curved bottom. I remember it as being a straight bottom?
Louis…The fabric used for this tunic is beautiful but the style is most definitely classic. It’s a style that’s very comfortable to wear on all shapes and sizes. You’re correct that it did have a straight bottom. I love that the style is not dated like the styles being offered today by other vendors. Next Sunday I’m attending another wedding wearing my turquoise tunic. If you do plan to revisit this style I will be one of the first in line to purchase all colors. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for all of your expertise.
Don’t know if it has been asked already but are there any more gauze crepe jackets or blouses being offered in the next few months?
I wish warmer weather would arrive!
In July
Yes….3 pieces in July, and a dress earlier
Yippy for me! I stalked other colors of the crepe gauze button front jacket and today I got lucky. It pays to be persistent.
CRAYOLA SAYS GOODBYE TO ‘DANDELION’
So, how did the departure of “Dandelion” affect you, Louis? Will you miss it, or are you looking ahead to its replacement?
You are the “Crayola Guy” and I want to know your reaction. 🙂
http://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/whats-hot/so-long-dandelion-crayola-is-killing-off-one-of-its-colors/ar-BByZdqP
I hate to see any color being eliminated, and I love the name. There is no replacement for a color…..they should all exist…..just make the box bigger!
Absolutely LOVE your response!
Me too, Goldie. That is the perfect solution…make the box bigger!
Hi Louis
On your future dates list, you list end of May shows as QVC2. May I assume that you are referring to QVC Plus.
Thank you
Dear Joanne, Starting tomorrow, April 1, QVC Plus will no longer be used. It will now be called QVC 2. The QVC Plus TSV will now be called the QVC 2 “BIG DEAL”.
I think in some alternative life I must have been in the fashion industry because I am so fascinated by it. I’ve often wondered how different is it to sell via a format like QVC as opposed to the more traditional methods for off-the-rack clothing? I think the trend is on the rise for online retailers. I only started to buy clothing from QVC about 2 years ago because I hate dealing with the weekend traffic to go to the mall. I’m in my mid-40’s btw. I also just learned that Wal-Mart is buying all kinds of online retailers to compete with online mega-giants. I was heartbroken to learn that they bought my favorite online outdoor gear retailer from Michigan. On a different topic, I am obsessed with WK. It is for all seasons and can be dressed up or go casual. Most importantly, it is so comfortable. I know it would increase the cost, but having multi-colored stripes (preferably in the navy family) would make me go goo-goo-ga-ga.
Dear Caroline….WK dressing is the best…..It’s sophisticated, timeless flattering, easy to take care of and best of all comfortable…..Multi color styles would be more expensive in WK, but the problem is the stripes. No matter what stripes I have done over the years they simply have not been great sellers. Usually one color does well …..like black and the others sit there.I haven’t given up on them but they aren’t the first things I think about to design…Case in point…..the Linea Leisure stripe Tee with the side godets. The black was gone in a flash and the color with white sits there. I would think in the summer white and a color with jeans or Capri pants would have done well, but only the black and white sold out and never returned.

There were very few days this winter when I didn’t wear WK or faux Shetland sweaters, either layered or alone. When it was frigid, I even wore a WK turtleneck, with a v neck Shetland and a Shetland cardigan over that. They give such warmth without being heavy. I have most of the colors offered in the turtleneck, but would love to have a light or silvery grey one. And in the Shetland group I would like to see a shade of red. Both of these fabrics are a triumph. I always get looks and comments when I wear the double zip long cardigan. I have the charcoal/blue and the wine/spice. The mallard turtleneck goes well with the charcoal/blue. In gloomy weather it gives me a lift to have all of these possible combinations to wear, even if I am going to stay at home and watch the snow.
Louis, I’m wearing the peacock 3/4 sleeve hi-low hem tunic (A263353). I wear these weekly – and the v-neck version (the gray/black and the clay/black geo print). This tunic may be my favorite Linea piece ever and I’ve been shopping you line since its beginning. Is A263353 reordered? I sure hope so. And, do you think you may do a v-neck version again sometime? Thanks.
Yes, the ombre top is coming back in some new colors starting in July, and then again later in the season.
Hi Louis, when can we expect some new pants with a 32 inch inseam? I love the ponte knit but the last ones were just too short with any kind of heel or with boots. I love the older ponte knits with the boot leg but would love to have some new straight leg to be able to wear with heels. Thank you for all you do!
Dear Judy, in May I will have a new gauze pant. It will be a simple pull-on……no pockets. It will be in two lengths, 32″ and a petite length…approx 3″ shorter. The boot cut is coming back in new colors. It really shouldn’t be called a boot cut because it has a slight flare at the bottom and a boot cut is more extreme.
Sounds COOL – wonderful!!! Any hints on colors?
Black, Royal Blue and White….the white is the only one lined.
This is exciting to hear, Louis! The gauze pant in 32 inches <3 AND new colors in the modified boot! Double yay!!!
I’m excited about the flair leg ponte pants coming in new colors! What are the new colors and when can we expect them?
Too early to tell since they won’t be avail until after the summer…….but I will say wine and winter white are two of them

Hi Louis. How are you, the girls and how is Jac’s back? I hope all is well. I have been waiting for your new SS White T Shirts (4 White wait listed) A225482 and just received a notice that they are expecting them shortly. Do you know when they will be in? I received 2 of the pink and I love them. Stay well and please send my regards.
Dear Mimi…..Jac is coming along….still not 100%……as for the Tee shirt I have heard nothing about a reorder. I have inquired
Mimi….no reorders have been placed….it’s much too soon, so what you would get is returns.
Thanks.
Oh darn it. I wish I would have ordered every color of the crepe gauze shirt jacket. I hope it is a success so it will be reordered in different colors. It is a year round silhouette that can be worn everywhere and anywhere. I will stalk the Q’s website to see if I can snag another one but I do not hold out much hope. Louis, I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
Good morning Louis,
I enjoy looking at your archives, it’s like paging thru a fashion magazine. In your Anne Klein Look Book for May 2013 you have a beautiful white blouse with an enormous collar and deep V-neck….just stunning. What a replacement for the Kate shirt (I have 6)! Reminds me of a blouse worn by Lauren Becall in “Designing Woman”.
Have you seen the Oscar de la Renta postage stamp, gorgeous colors, nice tribute to the man.
Also, The Museum of Art and Design (MAD) has some upcoming exhibits on fashion, jewerly and Judith Leiber, looks interesting.
Regards to Jac, looking forward to seeing you soon.
Elaine
My latest Linea stash has arrived! Beautiful all…I am off to NYC to see HAMILTON In April. Guess who I’m taking to the theater, the MET, Whitney and Lincoln Center…
Thanks Louis!
Have a wonderful time….report back….want to hear about the trip.
😊I will…
Hi Louis-
Will the trouser socks be coming back? I gave these a five star rating based upon the pair of lace socks in the pack. The lace pair is completely fabulous!! – truly one size fits all. I like the weight of the other two but unfortunately they do not stay up on my long legs. If you bring these back can you give us a one size triple set of lace in black , navy and brown? Then for the solids can you consider two sizes, missy and plus? I hope these were popular enough to expand the selection. I will be a lifetime customer for sure!! Thanks for listening…
Susan
Dear Susan…..they should be! They were hugely successful, but with QVC budgets I never know what they will or will not be ordering. These were very popular so it’s just bad business IMHO not to bring them back. It’s not my call.
I found out, even on Sunday, that the three pack will be reordered, but a reorder has to be as the original order….no variations, so the sizing will be the same.
Oh boy my Mardi Gras necklaces from backorder to cancel so I guess that’s done. Maybe it will be a reorder in the future.
I guess if they are sending out cancellations there isn’t any hope. I have no word on any reorders, but I know there jewelry budget for Linea is very small so it’s usually a choice of either a reorder or something new. These are really limited editions!
They cancelled the wine and winter wHite ponte knit pants that I ordered in February lol but I received a letter stating that they will be available in August so I will be ready for that. Did I read that the seamless leggings are not coming back those are fabulous I am stocking up just in case. I hope the trouser socks return too more colors they are fabulous!
luvitorleaveit……that always happens, they only hold a wait list for 3 months at most. When the orders are processed it goes into the system and posted, then they have to remove them. They shouldn’t post them in the first place because the delivery dates is more then 3 months, but they are due in August…..Unfortunately the seamless legging are kaput. The selling dropped off and they decided to put them on clearance, which is disappointing because now I can’t bring them back or add new colors. They will happen with the opaque tights too, if it hasn’t already. SO get them while you can. The socks are coming back, but I don’t know about new colors yet?
Louis, I have an entire wardrobe of Linea, and have had since 2000 when your items iirst became availalble on QVC. However, I have never had as many complimments as I have had on the embroidered baseball jacket with stripe trim. I have both black and white – and may order the pink – however each time I wear it I receive multiple compliments. It is comfortable, casual, yet elegant. I feel terrific in in and have even received compliments from my husband and my boss. It’s an amazing piece, and right on trend as someone pointed out a month or so ago that the same or similar jacket was spotted in the audience of one of the awards shows. I will post on QVC as well – but a big thank you! Oh, yes – it looks great with the black/white stripe WK short sleeve sweater from a ffew years ago!
Dear Joyce……I’m very happy you are getting such enjoyment from your jacket. Jill Martin came to me the last time I was at QVC, and told me she bought the black version and wore it when she was doing a fashion segment on the morning show on channel 4. She told me everyone loved it too. It’s nice to know women are getting compliments from wearing it. Thanks for sharing your story.
Louis, I received the stand collar tunic in Linen yesterday and am wearing it today with a black WK tank and your denim crop pants. I love this top and have the other colors coming.
I’m also wearing the satin gold trapeze cuff. I love those cuff bracelets and wear one or more of them at least 3 times a week. They’re my “go to” bracelet. I know your manufacturer can’t repeat them at the price they were at – and that Q can’t just up the price on that item # to accommodate a reorder. But, do you think you could come up with a companion cuff that worked with the trapeze and come in the same array of finishes plus maybe some of the glossy enamel colors like the black cuff? Definitely a glossy white for summer and perhaps a few accent colors like LDO aqua? And, I’d like to request your creative attention towards an earring in the satin gold and silver to go with the necklaces and cuffs I have that have that finish on them. I’m eagerly awaiting your upcoming multi-wire cuff and thank you for your wonderful designs.
Louis I need advice. What colors go with alabaster? Many thanks!,,
Dear Clothes horse…..it would help if you are talking about an Alabaster top or bottom. If you are looking for something to coordinate with a top, almost any basic bottom color will work….white, ivory, navy, brown black, grey, olive, wine. Honestly I can’t think of one that wouldn’t work….For an alabaster bottom….the same colors I mentioned plus soft colors like pale blue, pale lilac, rosey pink, pale aqua, aqua mist. Even some stronger colors would look good……accessories can always pull two colors together. There almost aren’t any limits,
What awonderful gracious man you are . Have been your customer since the 80 s. Still own many AK and AK 2 pieces. Thank you for being you !,,
Dear Louis, I want to be able to buy your pants but my shape is very round 2x with thin stick upper leg and calf. Shold I try buying to my waist measurement and consider a seamstress to tack in the leg. I will wear a lone top to cover the upper hip area.
Yes….try on pair. If your waist is the largest area then you must but the size that best fits the wait, and see what your seamstree can suggest before the altertion.
Louise, thank you for the kind response. Wonderfull that I too can become a Linea Lady.
Marti…..all are welcome here.
Hello,
I just tried on my new crepe gauze pieces. I absolutely love the button front tunic which I got in 3 colors in my usual size. I just noticed the note on your sneak peek sketch that it has the same body as the crushed gauze tunic from a few years ago. That is another favorite top!
The cropped pants fit very nicely in my usual size. I much prefer the letter sizing in these compared to the long wide leg pants from last year which came in number size. The letter sizing provides more ease which is nice for a floaty pant. I do have some sandals which I can wear with them and will have to work on finding some closed-in shoes for cooler weather.
I am having trouble with the v-neck top. One is clearly mismarked…it won’t even pull down over my body, so I’ll contact QVC to reorder in the correct size. I’m glad they are still available.
Thank you for these beautiful pieces. I usually much prefer fall/winter clothing, but these are a hit…cool, but covered!

“I guess that means you have received it! Yes, the pebble crepe tunic coming will be about this length and another a little shorter.”
Louis, your new crepe gauze stand collar tunic is now almost completely sold out. Three colors are already gone and Linen is in XS, S and M.
When are the other tunics coming? What colors will they be coming in? Also, you said pebble crepe tunic. Does that mean the same fabric is the 3/4 sleeve top with pockets A213621 that is now a retired design?
many thanks ~ Also, I want to know when to expect the black seed bead necklace?
Best, Debra
Debra……..the seed bead necklace is due in April….I have no idea when QVC will release it. All I know is it has passed QA. There are no other sleeved tunics coming in Crepe Gauze this season……not until transition in July. One pebble crepe tunic will be in April and one in May. They are both much longer then the one you referred to. The first tunic will be in black, white, hibiscus and turquoise, but there will be no sneak peeks until April closer to my show date.
I will be looking at your blog eagerly!!!
Hopefully, there will be earlier releases than anticipated on the Q website. Will the new pebble crepe tunics have sleeves? I do appreciate the variety of styles to accommodate so many tastes and favorites.
With many away over Easter and Passover, will the QVC Plus items be available on the regular QVC.com ? I certainly don’t want to miss a thing 🙂
Thank you for your reply ~ I greatly appreciate it.
Yes, the pebble crepe items have sleeves. I would hope all of the items will be avail on the Linea site
Hello Louis
Great show . I have 3gauze pieces comingan alabaster tank from last year and a white WK skirt in XXS Can’t wait! Still hoping for an ivory one. Is there an alabaster as WK sweater coming? Thank you and Jac too!Love
There is the reorder of the short sleeve jewel neck WK ENR coming in Alabaster.Off the top of my head I don’t remember another
Louis, I think I saw Jac wearing a black bead seed bracelet that matches the necklace, will that bracelet be sold next month with the necklace?
I have samples of the bracelet in all the colors, but unfortunately it wasn’t bought…..I’m hoping next time around if the necklaces do as well as i think they will.
Louis, Please have more tunics on QVC such as A287617. It looks like it is almost sold out. That length is perfect for us gals that are over 5’7″. It seems your tunic tops sell out pretty fast. thank you for your wonderful designs.
I agree, Karen. Length is perfect. Although I’d love a tunic at this length, without the shark hem. I purchased the tunic in aqua mist, linen and black. Looking forward to wearing them 🙂
I guess that means you have received it! Yes, the pebble crepe tunic coming will be about this length and another a little shorter.
Yes, the aqua mist tunic arrived today! So beautiful and I’m so glad I sized down–the “click here” measurements were accurate. Happy to hear more tunics are on the way 🙂
Dear Grace…..please don’t forget to leave your reviews on the forum and the Linea QVC site…..it is helpful to all.
Dear Louis,
I just left reviews in both the forum and QVC. Happy to do it! From what I’m reading so far in the forum, everyone is saying the tunic is a “wow.”
Hi Louis, will your Knit Pull-On Slim Ankle Pants return? I’m particularly interested in Pale Khaki. The pants are the best ever!
Yes, the pant is coming back, but the Khaki is being replaced with Alabaster. They are very similar, but there are many more tops in Alabaster to coordinate with then the khaki.
Louis, the long sleeve button front shirt that was a “one day only” on yesterday is on clearance today, does that mean they will not be coming back? Will there be a replacement?
That’s correct…..it has had a 6 year run, and sales have slowed down. They consider the wing collar long sleeve it’s replacement which has been reordered. I will always try to offer a classic cotton shirt as part of my assortment, but in the end it still depends on whether they buy it.
Good to know — just ordered 3 more bringing my total to 8. Hey, this shirt is never going out of style. Thanks Louis and Tylerpoo!
Great show yesterday Louis! I enjoyed watching it!
Louis, I love the new necklace Maria was wearing with the bar necklace ❤️️
It’s a new sample….hasn’t been bought yet.
FYI – A287617 Crepe Gauze Jacket is on Buy More and Save $4.00.
Louis, do you know if the Mardi Gras necklace will be reordered? I know it hasn’t been long since it sold out, but see all 5 star reviews. I hope so.
I would hope so but there is no guarantee
Hate to ask again, but when is my sea glass necklace coming please? In case you missed my posting before under the necklace, the link to the North American Sea Glass Festival is seaglassassociation.org, Louis. Thanks and cheers!
That’s strange….I answered you a while ago. The necklace is due in May, and I googled the sa glass association. It was extremely interesting…I had no ideal anything like that existed…..thank you!
I’m glad you asked again, I have been stalking daily.
Has anyone received the new stand-collar gauze crepe tunic, A287617? I’m between sizes and want to know whether to size up or down. Thanks.
when will you bring more plain white t shirts to QVC
Dear Susan….I have no idea if they are going to even be reordered. If they are not until next year.
Louis, I was visiting a friend in California and gifted her a whisper knit sweater, which she fell in love with. We went shopping at some posh stores on the Main Street when she found a sweatshirt for $124 that she liked. I told her that Louis had several lovely hoodies available that were of much higher quality and priced a lot less! That wasnt the last time I mentioned your name on that visit! I loaned her a pair of your seamless leggings and she bought some before I left. Just had to share my enthusiasm for your work!
I received a catalog in the mail the other day that had several sweaters and dresses with these oh so feminine flutter sleeves! I love feminine touches and wanted to request some Linea pieces with subtle flutter sleeves at the wrist or elbow.
Hi Louis! I am having so much fun with all my new Lines pieces! I especially love when I wore your WK ivory skirt a WK BLK MOCKNECK with the new WK IVORY long cardigan. I HAVE TO SAY I LOOKED STUNNING! Also enjoying my new mardi gras necklace, already have worn it a few times. Very versatile and lovely!
Hi Hudson Valley Nancy…..I don’t believe I remember you posting here before? Is my memory failing me?? Your outfit sounds fabulous simple, clean, sophisticated and still bold. I would bet you were the classiest women in the room! Just changing your bottom to black pant, ivory pants or a black skirt and you have so many options, and that’s not even introducing a color…..enjoy
First time posting Louis, you are correct! But have a closet full of your designs…Love pulling everything all together. Looking forward to the alabaster slim pant, have them in every color. Love your other alabaster pant, have the black as well, actually purchased 2 alabaster, “just in case” they are my favorites. When I go through my clothes to donate to good will, your designs never go, they are too “classic”. Already ordered my tunic shirt/jackets in two colors, black and aquamist, ordered the truffle crop trousers and wrap over tunic, but can’t wait to wear the black tunic/jacket over the truffle trouser. Please consider a feminine blouse, I love blouses!!
I too feel very strongly about feminine blouses, but they have chosen only one out of many. One is a start !
Louis, I realize I have your Geranium Pink color on the mind because you approved of it as cardigan for the Pink Wing Collar Shirt, but it is all over the place this spring. It is YOUR COLOR, exactly. Your Fiesta Colors were ahead of their time!
The gauze pieces are up!
Dear Louis,
When styling the cropped pants for the show, please show us some shoe choices for those of us who can’ t wear heels.
Thank you!
I have a limited choice, and don’t always get what I want. The new shoes coming in are very heavy looking and not to my liking. So I have to use what I can get.
Thanks for trying. I didn’t realize that some of those decisions were out of your control.
Since I don’t do shoes I have to use what’s avail to me.
I think these would be awesome with pointed-toe flats or low mules, right?
Yes that sounds good.
i’m seeing lots of colorful espadrille with a pretty ribbon ties around the ankles how would those be with these kinds of pants?
Thank you for the ideas, but it is almost impossible to find cute shoes that are able to accommodate an orthotic. I think I will need to ignore the shoes and let Louis’ lovely clothing and jewelry designs do all of the talking. I haven’t yet worn the Mardi Gras necklace, but when I do, I’m sure no one will be paying attention to my feet!
Dear Chris…..Jac and I both wear orthotics, and she has no problem finding shoes….epadrilles, and wedges would look good too. I think the Eileen Fisher suggestion is a good one.
YES, I was just saying that to Chris
My wardrobe from Louis is complimented by linen pieces from Eileen Fisher. She is doing lots of cropped pants/ culottes… with a variety of shoes. Go tho her website/ click on pants to see how shenshows them.I rarely if ever wear heels anymore…so I went looking for shoes that enhanced the proportional difference of wide crops and bare leg. I cannot wait to get my goodies from this most recent group of Louis’ beautiful thinge.
Dear Louis,
You mentioned that the crepe gauze tunic jacket in light pink matches last year’s sleeveless gauze tunic. Do the black ones match as well?
I have gotten great compliments on the red whisper knit long cardigan, worn with matching tunic, and on its own. Love the bright red and black.
thanks,
Debra
PS I paid for my mardi gras necklace by check order as soon as it came out. I took it off check order and paid with my credit card, and it is till on backorder…. I have not had any updates. 🙁
Dear Debra…..if they aren’t exact they should be extremely close. There’s no guarantee from one season to the next even with the same fabrics, but mine do match……Glad to hear you are enjoying you red set. I think many women were surprised just how flattering it is….even petites……sorry to hear about your Mardi Gras necklace. If they haven’t canceled it there’s still hope.
Thank you Louis. I know that it is so hard when working with dye lots. That is why I always buy as many matching shells and tanks to match with cardigans in your line. Good marketing and creative designing!
Hi Louis, I’m wondering if you could share what size Jac is taking in the A287617 – Crepe Gauze Jacket? Thanks, Ruth
XS….she has broad shoulders…..she could wear xxs, but the shoulders are more comfortable in XS….whe she tries it on she may want the xxs……that’s the best I can do.
Dear Louis, Thanks so much for getting back to me. That answer does help me.
I’m finding the look is a little bigger this season too and my eye is getting used to it.
All the best to you and Jac,
Ruth
My trench coat replacement buckles are here! Many thanks to you and Rowena.
–Nedra
Louis, in a previous post you suggested that I could choose the regular-length gauze pant as opposed to the petite-length pant. Did you suggest this in case I wanted a pant that falls longer on the leg? (Yes, I would like that, to tell the truth.) I placed an order for the regular length, but I thought I had better follow up with you to ask for your reasoning for this thought. TIA for your response.
Yes, that was what I thought, but you should compare the inseam measurements with pants you like. Likewise a tall woman may want a petite pant for a skirt look…..it all depends what look you are going after. Always check inseam measurements.
Thank you, Louis. Good guidance, this.
Louis, I just placed my orders for the crepe gauze pieces. This is one of my favorite fabrics. I’m nuts over the shirt jacket. It is going to be perfect for Florida where it is hot outside with air conditioning going full blast inside in offices and public buildings. Which brings me to my next question. Will there be any tanks or tunics later in the season? I would love more sleeveless options to go under this shirt jacket and the zip-up jacket A276280 from last year (which I bought in all colors). I wear my whisper knit tanks under the zip jacket, but crepe gauze as a matching layering choice in more than 2 colors would be fabulous (I have the sleeveless alabaster tunic and black tunic).
The new ivory, red and black WK tunics would work under these depending on the colors you bought, but the ivory and black works will all. There is a WK shell coming later but only the white and black options would work unless your getting the black jacket and then all colors work.
I have a question about the crepe gauze pant and tunic in truffle. On your sneak peek the color looks more taupe-like but on the qvc site it looks more tan. Which is more accurate? Thanks.
Lynn…..I’m going to really confuse you…..I put the top next to “MY” screen…..and the Truffle color is somewhere in between. It’s not as yellow tan as the QVC pic, but it’s not a gray/taupe as my pic either. It’s impossible to truly get an accurate color in a photo.
Thank you for taking the time to look that closely! You’re the best!
Dear Louis,
I’m about to place my order for these beautiful pieces and I see I’m between sizes on the trouser pant. Would you recommend sizing up? Thanks in advance.
For me, no, the pant is easy. It’s just the waist you have to consider. If it stretches enough then there should be no problem. Of course I am giving blind advise since I can’t see you.
Thanks, Louis. Based on what you’ve said, I’ll stick with my usual pant size.
Someone asked a question if the gauze top needed a tank. You said, the top was not see through. What about the jacket? Does it require a shell or tank? From the photos, it looks sheer.
It isn’t sheer. I did a sleeveless tunic last year in the pink and alabaster, and no one thought they were sheer,
Great! I have the pink nugget necklace (the set to the earrings on bust in pic) how does this necklace work with the pink gauze tunic? your advice is always right on the mark! Thanks again
It’s perfect!
Louis-Love,love,love your new items. You’ve outdone yourself (again)
One question regarding sizing-as to the new crepe gauze jacket-do you
think we should size down or stay with our normal size?
Stay with your size or it may be tight in the shoulder, and if you want to wear anything under it you’ll need the room
Thanks!

Good news
Love the new posts can’t wait to see on the show!! Do the gauze tops need shells under them?
No…..they are not see through.
I want to add my 2 cents worth about the Q not offering a maxi dress for the season. Big mistake on their part. I have purchased practically every one of your maxi dresses because I loved the fabric and the easy care. The Denim & Co are too frumpy for me ( sorry Gary) and Rene is too low cut or has big slits in the side or netting, Isaac’s are limited. Gee whiz, do I have to go to Chico’s? Come on Q, give us just one in the summer next year.

Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit Full Needle Tunic Tank
Louis, I have only one request for next year. Could you please make this exact tunic with short sleeves? I have all three colors and wear them each week with the matching cardigan. I mix them up and also wear them coordinated. I am quite small and have skinny arms so I do not like to wear sleeveless tops alone. It is getting warmer in San Francisco and soon I will not be able to wear them. I need a short sleeve version to wear in warmer months. Please help us out with this item. I believe other women would like it in short sleeves. Much thanks to you.
Hi Louis it’s been a minute since I have posted here been super busy being fashionable and working, but I have not stopped shopping by any means I brought both the black and red WK long cardigans with the matching tunic tanks..gorgeous – luv my WK as long as you keep making WK I’ll keep buying, the aqua mist jacket/top is lovely I’ve already wore it twice to a birthday dinner at a restaurant in City Island and to work. Your seamless legging are wonderful I have been wearing these instead of pantyhose with my dresses this winter I think I read on your blogs that they will not be returning so I am stocking up while I can. I am so hoping that the mardi gras necklace is reordered I was pretty much in flight when it was posted and wound up on backorder even though I had all my outfits ready to wear it with in my head when you first gave the sneak peek. I am waiting for my sleeveless tops in the white and aqua, and probably the yellow too – thank you so much for doing this they are exactly what I like to wear under the long sleeve and or short sleeve cardigans when the weather is cool or warm. I was wondering if you plan to do a dress in the crepe gauze material that truffle color is lovely; I think I pretty much much own most of the dresses you have done (long and short) and would love to add some more. I’ve posted my reviews!!! Now to brace for hopefully the last storm stay safe and warm.
I will be doing a Crepe Gauze dress in a color similar to truffle…..it’s called Mochaccino
Yes!!!! Thank you.
Dear Louis
Awhile ago you posted the website where you purchase berets and I can’t remember it. Please help .Thank you
Jedrzejko Berets……it’s a Polish company. You can either google them or look them up on ebay.
I bought 3 from their website. They are great! Buy, bye, bye. Thanks Louis. Stay cozy. Regards to Jac. Hope her back is ok.
Mimi…..let me know when you get them!
Hi Louis! My sleeveless shirts are on the way! Thanks! You had mentioned in a prior post something about a heather whisper knit? Is that scheduled for the fall? I don’t mean to ask for details ahead of when you want to reveal…it’s just more about planning for wardrobe additions. And no maxi dress this year, correct? (sad face). Thanks!
Did I mention heather WK? Yes, they are coming for next Fall……no maxi dresses chosen :{
I think someone asked about the pearls coming back? Could you float the idea to the powers that be for another round of pearls that are smaller in size (like 9MM maybe?) and not as long as rope?
What length are you talking about? Are you talking all pearl or with a scattered station of a metal bead for example?
More like a 20″ necklace that would look good over a sweater? Beads and pearls would be great, but just shorter strands in smaller MM of your classic pearls too (grey, red, navy, all those great early colors!)
Dear Louis
Thank you so much! This size info will be very helpful to many of us. The Q Social Team told me Amanda wears a 34A, can you confirm? She looks very curvy, and fuller chested on air/video.
Have a Great Day!
I don’t know the models measurements. Jac is a 34A and she wears a size 6 in the shirt or an xs. She has very broad shoulders. Amanda has a narrow torso.
Thanks Louis for the additional info. I had asked you what size Jac wore and you told me a 6. Then I saw Amanda who looked like she might be near my size, so I was thinking I should get a 4. But I have broad shoulders so I think I should stick with 6. Thanks!
Louis,
Earlier this morning I was checking my email and came to your Blog – where I saw – or thought I saw – a Beautiful New Pebble Crepe Tunic. Now I come back here a few hours later – and I see the Gorgeous Gauze Crepe pieces – and the Pebble Crepe Tunic is gone!
I was hoping no one saw that!!!!!! Why are you up so early! I think the older I get the dizzier I get…..That tunic isn’t coming until MAY…..I posted the wrong thing! SHHHHH. Don’t tell anyone!
My lips are sealed!
Someone posted th new items on the QVC forum early this morning, I hope it does not cause much trouble for you. They look so gorgeous.
The wrap over top is fine to post. Thanks for worrying.
Hello Louis,
Enjoyed seeing the wing collar shirt this morning. I have a quick question I hope you can answer. What size shirt was Amanda the model in pink wearing? Leah was cut off while asking the models their sizes. Many of the Linea Ladies, myself included would really like to know this, please. I tried CS and even posting for assistance from the Q Social Team on the Customer Care Forum to no avail. Truly hoping you can help and provide Amanda’s size.
Thanks for your time and attention. Warm regards to both you and Jac.
Rochelle
Morning Rochelle, Amanda was wearing a 4,and she had it buttoned all the way down. Personally I like the “look” of the bottom button undone, but I thought she should show it all buttoned. Jac was wearing a 6.
Will you be making more summer tops in olive?
Not this year.
Dear Kathy……sorry My memory failed me….yes there will be an olive color top called “CHIVE” coming in April.
Louis, I want to thank you so much for sending the buckle for the trenchcoat. I have the black coat, and I really love it. Received so many compliments on this. Can’t wait to see what is coming next! Thanks again.
Dear Eileen….so glad I was able to do this. When you have it dry cleaned tell them to be careful with the buckles and don’t even have the belt cleaned unless it absolutely needs it.
