Still enjoying all of my new loot. I wore my black/white composition jacket along with an Armani black slim skirt, Linea ivory jersey knit tank and black heels for an important business presentation last Friday. I accessorized with a lovely Ripka silver and ruby pendant necklace and Ripka ruby hoop earrings. Composition jacket was just the right classy different touch for this important presentation. Comp. jacket is a wonderful summer/early fall jacket for both casual as well as professional wear. Best part so slimming and flattering to my figure.
My question: Are you doing anything in the tobacco color this fall?

My package of items I ordered from your last show finally came from QVC. Since there were 7 pieces in the package, I had a great time looking through them, and trying to find things to go with them. The item I particularly like is the black/white Composition Jacket. I have several shirts/blouses which will do nicely, but I fell in love with some of the Kate shirts under the jacket; especially the red and malachite colors. With the new crepe guaze pants in black, it’s a great combination. I was further delighted when I looked through my Linea jewelry and found a necklace in the malachite color–a station necklace from several years ago. With 2 of those and one of the Linea logo chains, it looks very upscale. I agree with others who have written about the fit, fabric and versatility of this jacket. Though it may be October before it happens here, I am so looking forward to wearing everything.
Dearest Louis, Belated birthday wishes from one Leo to another. Also wanted to say I’ve received my 2 composition jackets, 3 India tops, 4 swing WS tanks, 2 crepe tanks and 2 crepe swing jackets along with the ivy crepe pull on pants. This 3X top 2X bottom LL is very well pleased by all! Only problem is waiting for new jewelry to adorn each outfit, though can ‘make do’ with the 20-something LDO items already on hand. XO

I was wondering if you had any idea yet if J335215 necklace was going to be reordered? I actually ordered one in each color, but was sent two black ones, and by that time there were not any alabaster left to exchange it for. So I am hoping for the alabaster to come back.

As for the swing tank, I only purchased the turquoise and passed on the black in this style. Not because I didn’t love it, but because I already purchased 2 of the long black tanks to go with the long black cardigan from last fall. I literally have stacks of whisper knits and am trying not to buy so many colors in the same style. I don’t know how you keep coming up with new whisper knit styles to tempt us….
Not that I “need” another swing t-neck, but I see aqua mist is a new color. Will the new mint mist pendant go with the aqua mist? I receive compliments every time I wear the aqua mist crepe gauze cardigan.

They are very different. The one you reference is a knit and more fitted with an asymmetric bottom the new one has a looser fit with a slight high low hem

Dear Donna…..the short answer is no…..If you look at the inside of the jacket that’s what the pant color would be. As an accent color I love it, but I think as a full pant the color would appeal to a limited audience…..Black, white and Ivory are your best bets……..maybe dk. grey?

Louis, will your new Port shade be compatible with the Whisper Knit skirt in a wine color from three or four years ago?
Dear Goldie…..you know mixing colors is very personal. Some only like things to match, and can’t deal or don’t know how to pull different colors together. I tried then, and I do like them together…..BUT…..you would need the right accessories to make it work…..i.e……faceted beads that have these different wines in them…..a scarf…….wine tights and port shoe boots or pumps…..it has to be worked so it looks like they are perfect together.

I purchased a walnut WK pencil skirt and matching tights For a column a looking at WK TN s .Browns available are espresso and Heather mink.

The espresso is a dark brown but not the same as walnut. The Heather Mink is brand new and was just posted. I haven even posted sneak peaks of it. It’s a med brown color and it’s heathered so it should look very good with the walnut which is very dark.
Louis – should we order the same size in the sleeveless turtleneck as the long sleeve turtleneck? I think I need them all!
Dear Ann…..that’s a good question…..The classic TN is in the jersey stitch which is not as stretchy as the every needle rib, and since this is sleeveless my initial suggestion would be to size one size down from the basic TN. If you have anything in the every needle rib to compare it that might help. Also,it would depend on your figure. If you’re full busted that’s something to take into consideration.
What’s the difference between light sand CARDIGAN and linen (which came in the stand collar) button front tunic? Can any of the new crepe gauze tank tunics be used with Linen Tunic? Thank you.
Dear vickybliss…….they are all VERY similar. The linen is a little lighter, but they can all intermix. These pale neutral colors in the sand, beige, linen family are all brothers, sisters and cousins….if you know what I mean. They are all tonal and most do work together……..these certainly do.

Hello Louis. I received the A293755 Crepe Gauze pants in Dark Sand. These are the perfect pair of Summer (and beyond) pants for me. I am hoping the black comes back in Large. But I am also here to request more colors, navy, any shade of gray, alabaster, ivory, white. I had to send the Gauze pants back, because the legs were too wide in a size Large. I need Summer weight pants to wear to work. The trimmer leg on this crepe gauze style is just right. Plus the length at 32 inches is also perfect. Thank you for a great design. Hope to see more of it.
Dear Linda…..before I add colors I have to see if it gets reordered first! LOL. I can’t do light colors in this pant because it wasn’t priced as a lined pant, and reorders have to be as the original, but navy and grey are good.

They wait a minimum of 3 months to see the final sales but mostly the returns. If the returns are high, for any reason, it’s dropped as a style. Then maybe they will reorder for next year

My composition jackets arrived. They are perfect as to fit, fabric and styling. As I am a big fan of your tortoise jackets, I was not surprised that this style would again slim and flatter my figure. Besides the wonderful all over non print print being so versatile as to accessorizing, the jacket just skims the body perfectly. I can wear the jacket alone or it looks wonderful with my new jersey whisper knit tops in black or white with zipper pulled half way down. The blue of the blue/black jacket is a wonderful color. This jacket is perfect for my professional life and also for casual wear.

Louis, my composition jackets arrived today. I ordered the blue combo and the white/black combo. I like this one so much that I ordered the remaining color.This is a perfect jacket for year round in Florida. It looks great with crop pants and sandals.I know… why would one need long sleeves with the shorter pants and sandals? Because of air-conditioning on my shoulders and arms.This jacket is the perfect solution. I will leave a 5-star review!

I have noticed that their pictures do NOT show things at their best! I depend on your blog, Jac’s Facebook, and the presentations to really see what the clothing looks like. I almost didn’t buy a primetime special cardigan with zippers, because I looked at the picture on my phone. But, I watched the presentation, and WOW! Just got that yesterday, and I LOVE IT!

Tuned in to the one am Lisa Rinna show Monday morning and had to laugh. The host asked Lisa if the necklace she had on earlier was one of hers and Lisa replied that she saw it in the model’s closet and loved it. Lisa walked over and grabbed the necklace and put it on while they discussed what a great necklace it was and wondered whose it was. It was your gunmetal ribbon necklace. I was shouting at the TV – it is Louis’s necklace.

So interesting! I often see models showing other vendor’s garments who are styled with Linea jewelry. They always look great but I’ve never heard anyone credit Louis for the jewelry. Obviously the stylist who dressed the model recognized how great Linea jewelry is!
Linea Jewellery is the BEST on Q – and when you compare it to what’s available in high end Department Stores – you would have to pay 10 times more for comparable style and quality.

As soon as I saw the necklace on Lisa, I called CS and told them to mention that it was Louis’ necklace. It’s about time he gets some credit. The models wear his jewelry often. Obviously, to no avail.
I noticed they took it off. Many times models and hosts wear jewelry from all QVC vendors with out any credit. The hosts have to let the producers know what they are wearing in case a customer asks, but they don’t discuss the shoes or accessories unless they are selling it.
She took the necklace off because she changed her top to a black top. Lisa said she wanted a clean look, to emphasize the tunic who knows. I would say, I’m sooo fed up with QVC when it comes to your products, that if it were any other brand, I would stop buying from them completely. The only other clothing line I rarely buy is Lisa R. Cargo pants. I’m an xxs and they fit almost as well as your pants. I ordered your new Composition Jacket in the blue in the xs and small. I wanted to order the tobacco but I’m not sure of the sizing. Sometimes I need the xs and sometimes the small. Hope all is well with you and Jac (especially her back) and the girls.

Dear Debra……I’d love to, but QVC really jumped the gun this time. I haven’t even received my samples yet!. I can tell you it will come in the pink, black and ivory. The fabric is a poly. it is a little heavier then my faux de Chine so there is no see through. It has a smooth silky surface and glides over the body…..absolutely no clinging. It looks expensive.

Dear Debra……I don;’t have the samples and I don’t recall the actual fiber content, but I believe it’s a poly/span blend….If it is something else I’ll let you know, but for now assume it is poly/span. There aren’t any skirts designed to go with it, but in these colors any skirt would be good!
Hi Louis! The Linea ladies got me hooked on your line a few years ago. I have loved everything I purchased from your line, but the recent crepe gauze tank tunic is the best ever. I am in Arizona so I live in sleeveless tops. Whether my upper arms are “in shape ” enough for that, I don’t care!! It’s 117 degrees, I’m not wearing sleeves! These tunics are my dream come true: perfect fit, light and airy, 100% comfort! I purchased all colors, in my regular size, and their perfect. I wish there were many more colors! Donna…I know what you mean….117 degrees! Who’s looking at arms!…LOL. I’m sure these must be very comfortable for you. Have you looked at the other Crepe gauze sleeveless tunic with the georgette border? It’s the same crepe gauze and the same cut…..lots of others colors…perfect for AZ.

I received my jacket and tried it on with the dress. I think it is only so so. The jacket is much better (stunning) with pants and the dress is better with a slimmer cardigan. I hope you and Jac are having a lovely day!
I think you are right. When you have a top with volume it is usually better to keep the bottom slim.
Louis, my India tunics arrived today in fuchsia and navy. They’re gorgeous! The colors are amazing, and I adore the fabric. It’s so light and silky and flowing – perfect for the summer. Definitely a winner!
Dear Enjay……So happy to hear you love your tops I haven’t used this particular fabric before. I chose it because of its’ silkiness and light weight, all the things you mentioned. There were some other choices with span, but they weren’t as light in weight and they weren’t as flowing or silky. We eased up on the sizing to accommodate this…….I would recommend to anyone who is between sizes to size up one size. Did you get your regular size or did you size up? PLEASE don’t forget to leave your reviews on the Linea Forum and the Linea apparel site!

I agree about the Howlite, Louis. It would be foolish not to get it. I’ve found it VERY versatile.
What is particularly wonderful about this necklace in any of its colors is that you do not feel as though you are “fussing up” an outfit when you throw it on. It is a piece that takes the eye, but it is not a dominant, look-at-me piece, announcing that you took great pains to prepare yourself. I very much like the casualness but striking beauty of this piece. It is easy to wear.
I know I will get the pink in new top coming up as I love to put pink and black together. But I most likely will get the black and white as well…my 3 india inspired tops will be here monday and soooooo excited to get them!!!!
My India-inspired tunics arrived and they’re just beautiful. So richly detailed and the colors are so saturated, especially the fuchsia. I’m a print-phobe but these are tops I will love to wear. I tried one under the long cardigan from last year and the longer sleeves of the tunic peeking out looks so good! For anyone looking for size advice, I ordered both XS and SM and found I like the slightly larger one a bit more as it had a more tunic feel. That said, both fit well, just a matter of style preference. And I gave away the smaller one!
