    Hi Louis,

I hope this post finds you doing well!😀

Will the steel grey cowl neck tunic work with the grey straight leg pant, A273303? I think the pants may be too light.

Thank you for all you do!!!
    Bernadette

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette, I am out of town and will check when I get home.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette, sorry for taking so long to answer you. I have been looking high and low for those pants with no luck. I recently packed up 12 big black shopping plastic bags with samples to give to “Big Brother, Big Sister” and those pants are probably on there way to a very deserving woman……Yes, the pant is lighter, but that’s not always a bad thing if the shades are the same, Unfortunately I can’t tell you if they are or not. Maybe someone who owns those pants and the new steel grey pant can compare and tell you how they look together?

  2. vickybliss

I have just received my blackberry Petite Super Ponte Slim Leg Pant (A2984470. Your leggings didn’t work for me (wrong size? or wrong style?). So it took me a long time to take the plunge on a slim leg pant because I didn’t know which size to get and worried that it would be the wrong style. But I wanted the blackberry so much that I went with my normal size and the pants are wonderful and a perfect fit. I wore them with my blackberry top (a column of color) and my blackberry beads. Sorry to say no one noticed my wonderful pants but they loved the beads. I’m going back for the steel grey and also the other petite ponte pants in espresso. Ladies on the fence, these pants are winners!

    Louis,

If there is a reorder of the whisper knit pants, do you foresee either steel grey or heather charcoal grey to be one of the colors? I’ve been “collecting” pieces in the heather charcoal grey which I love! The whisper knit pants in heather charcoal grey would really add to the collection, but I’m wondering if I should start collecting the steel grey. This white haired Linea Lady does love grey!

Thank you as always! Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris, since I have done so many pieces in the Heather C.G. I would probably choose that one.

  4. maryinCT

    Louis,
Great news for me-my heathered gray midi skirt that was put on Backorder went to Processing for 2 days and is now showing Shipped!! Yey! I will now return my medium-if anyone is stalking this size, it will go out in tomorrow’s mail. I am a Happy Camper!!

    1. diane

Mary- I hope I get your return-I am on WL for a gray M.
Hope you enjoy your new skirt.

      1. maryinCT

        Diane,
My skirt still has tags attached and I stored it folded while I was stalking the smaller size so it’s in perfect condition. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get it. It is so lovely…I hope we both enjoy our new skirts!

  5. Margo

    Hi Louis,
Would you be kind enough to explain the color difference between Smoke and Steel Gray in the WK tunics? They look similar on my screens but I’m sure they’re not. I can’t wait for the Rhubarb Cowl!
    Thanks in advance,

    1. louis dell'olio

The smoke is a med. grey the steel is a dark grey. they are very different

      1. Margo

Thanks so much! Steel gray it is!

  6. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, before I undertake to shorten the array of super ponte
Pants that only came in regular sizing (I usually grabe a petite
    – could you please explain why you said that a bootcut pant need to be longer than does a slim pant? Don’t want to whack 4 inches off, if I should only be taking off 3 inches.

    1. louis dell'olio

A boot cut pant is designed to flare at the bottom. It can flare a lot or slightly. The flare is meant to easily go over your boot, shoe bootie etc. so the pant needs to be longer to accommodate heights of heels, and easily glide over the different shoes. It should hit the top of the show and could even break a little…A slim pant doesn’t break and should stop just below the ankle to above the ankle.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Appreciative thanks Louis! I feel more confident going into this task. And I am REALLY looking forward to the super ponte coming in more petite lengths.

  7. Joyce Adams

I feel compelled to jump in on the discussion about red pants. Several years ago you offered a red gaberdine pant, Louis, and I have it he pants, especially at this time of year. These pants matched a red boucle jacket cand snubbed knit top. I remember wearing the whole red outfit with a Christmas scarf to several Christmas parties and getting many compliments. I am a plus size, and one might think all that red would be too much, but it isn’t. So this year I am wearing the red pants with the long white cardigan and tank. Also, many seasons ago I bought a white embroidered coast which has red irises in the embroidery and the red pants look fabulous. I just want to point out how wonderful a pair of red pants would be in one’s wardrobe. Also, I would buy red WK pants!

  8. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Is there any chance of a reorder on A282511? Along with the modified boot leg pant, these are my favorite fitting slim leg pant. I see the black sold out in a nano second, but the espresso lingered. I’m guessing, based on reading your replies to this kind of question, that you’d have to modify these pants in some way & bring them back under a new item number. Just wondering if there’s a fan base for these pants…Thanks!

    1. Pecan Cookie

Fan base? Yes! Me! 🙂 I have multiples of them in both regular and petite for the different seasons with various shoes, boots, sandals, flats, tunics, blazers, etc.

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace…as of now no, these will not be reordered. As you have said the black is sold out. I only did the espresso because there were requests for a dark brown, so I did it. Since I hadn’t done a dark brown I thought it was a good idea, but as you can see they didn’t sell??? Why the black sold out and not the brown is a mystery to me. Surly everyone must own at least 3 pair of black pants. Same with the boot cut…..everyone wanted navy, but it didn’t sell. I guess I will have to be very careful about requested colors in the future. The requests don’t seem to be coming from the majority of the women.

      1. Jane J.

I have to agree with you, Louis, about some of the colors that I have seen requested here. Just my humble opinion, but I’ve often thought that they are not from the majority of your customers. Of course, I am one that is always requesting solid dark charcoal grey in pants and fuchsia in tops, so who knows! I can only imagine that it must be very frustrating and even disheartening trying to please everyone. Thank you for all your concern and efforts for the Linea ladies.

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jane…..I try to get a majority vote and thought Espresso and Navy were pretty safe, but if a color or two don’t sell, no matter how popular the item, it usually means no reorder…….BTW, fuchsia is a love/hate color. It really depends on the shade…..I have never had any kind of fuchsia color be a reorder.

          1. Joanne

            Linea
I purchased the multiples of the black and espresso pants in both regular and petite. I love them!

      2. Grace

Louis, I agree and know color choice is so subjective. I’m always surprised about some of the color requests made here. (For example, no offense to anyone, but I’d never buy a WK pant in red.) I always lean toward a black, grey, navy, taupe color palette for the basics. Dull, perhaps, but it works for me. I love neutrals and just add accent colors each season, and you always deliver the best choices. The port this season is just wonderful!

        1. Grace

Oh, and I LOVE the fawn color–such a beautiful neutral. I purchased the reefer coat, TN, WK swing dress…I have the head-to-toe fawn outfit Jac modeled in her FB photos. So elegant! Just last week, I paired the fawn swing dress with the alabaster leather jacket, taupe suede boots and a vintage Hermes scarf with taupe/ivory/copper…my husband couldn’t stop raving about it! And, I felt so put together and beautiful. My husband even said…is that a Linea outfit? Of course! Thanks for all you do to help us feel pretty and get compliments from our significant others. lol!

          1. louis dell'olio

Grace your outfit sounds beautiful. I bet if I could get you in the all red WK long cardigan, tank and pant your husband would go bonkers!

            1. Grace

              HaHa! Maybe it’s worth a try 🙂

    3. louis dell'olio

Actually Grace, I’d love a red Whisper Knit pant. I think the long scarlet cardigan and matching tank with the red pant with the Scarlet Red and Gold seed Bead necklace would look sensational, but if I couldn’t sell a Scarlet Red WK skirt I would think my hopes of selling a pant would be slim.

      1. Grace

Louis, I suppose I feel I couldn’t carry it off, as some other Linea Ladies could. But, I do love the scarlet red and have the tank & cardigan you mentioned. I will be snatching up the red seedbead necklace (along with the amber) when it’s available, too. I’ll just be wearing my scarlet red tops with black, grey or white 😉

  9. maryinCT

    Louis,
I’m in a panic. I bought the heather gray midi skirt in medium and felt it was a little large through the waist/hips but size small was not available. I decided to keep it and bought beautiful gray suede boots to match. 2 days ago, a small popped up and I placed it on check hold until I could talk to QVC about returning the medium (hadn’t worn it yet, tags still on). QVC ok’d the return and changed my order to credit card. I was in heaven for 2 minutes until I checked and the order had changed to BACKORDER!!! QVC claims that this means the item is “ordered” and they PROMISE to honor the order. Is the skirt re-ordered and due soon-or do they mean due months from now? I have to decide whether to send back the medium and keep my fingers crossed for a small. Do you have any insights to their intentions? Thanks!

    1. Romy

I wouldn’t send that back until the other was shipped. I have had this happen to me several times before where either the back order was eventually shipped or more frequently cancelled all together. I think when you put something on a check hold they keep selling the item, it does not actually reserve it for you. So when you change it to credit card to process, the system then checks for inventory and if someone bought it on a credit card while you were on check hold, the inventory is gone now and they move it to back order hoping for a return so they can satisfy your order. With Linea items, the returns don’t happen that often though, so I wouldn’t send it back yet.

      1. maryinCT

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have never had this happen. The rep said that they stopped honoring the check hold status because too many customers had placed things on check hold and then cancelled them without purchasing and this effected sales. The rep was surprised when I told him I had stalked this skirt for 1 1/2 months for a return. I will take your recommendation and keep my medium…ah so beautiful with the boots.

    2. louis dell'olio

Mary….there is no reorder….keep your skirt until you get your small, but that probably won’t happen.

      1. maryinCT

        Oh Louis,
That’s what I think too. I will hold on to the medium and keep stalking.
I am a happy camper with your new slim ponte pants (love), the fog funnel neck sweater (and matching beret) and the reefer coat so, I really can’t complain. But, lesson learned…I won’t use check hold again!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Jac and see you in Dec!

        1. jazz

Mary, I’ve shrunk many a whisper knit a full size on purpose when I couldn’t get my preferred size. Just a thought.

          1. Judy l

Jazz, what method do you use to shrink your WK? I just lost a lot of weight and have WK tops that need to be shrunk.

    3. Grace

Mary, this happens to me only when I do a check hold on an item, when sizing is uncertain. I always thought the check hold reserved the item, but it doesn’t always. Every time I’ve done a check hold and tried to convert it to a credit card sale, it goes to backorder status. I hope your outcome is different, but not once have I received those items.

      1. debra

        Dear All,

Every time that I have used a check hold on a Linea item, it has sold out and not been delivered!! The check hold may be fine on something that is not selling out, but despite speaking to various Customer Service people at the Q about the check hold feature, it has not been held, period.

As a result, I will not use that feature anymore. It is a shame that it is not dependable, but if they are not going to hold the item, then it is a futile exercise.

Good Luck ~~~ I adore my midi WK skirts

        Debra

  10. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

My yearning is for the WK midi skirt to come in Linea dark Navy. I’d also like a return of the holiday sequin skirt but in a longer version. The new WK midi dress in dark Linea Navy. At my age in life, now a gr grandmother, the wide and plunging v neckline is too much for me. I have to wear a sleeveless turtleneck under them but I love the dresses even with that caveat – the long sleeves for warmth and the kength and easy swing-top-type fit are so ideal. That’s the yearn list. I am loving all the wonderful Linea fashions I purchased during 2017 as well as my vintage Linea – all in such good shape. Thanks for another great year!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

A287618, the sleeveless shell would also look, great under the dress. It’s another option to the TN

      1. Pamela

Hi Louis. Did I miss the black trapeze bracelets? Been checking last couple of weeks as I was thinking you mentioned they should arrive. I need, ok…WANT a black to match my new necklace . thanks. Louis.

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Pamela…..no you didn’t. They are at QVC, but who knows when they will be processed??? On air items get priority.

          1. Katie Lyles

I have been checking about every 2 hrs myself, I do not want to miss them again.

      2. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Thanks for the reminder and yes I do have those pieces. I’ve been assessing all my various sleeveless pieces – almost all Linea – and will probably try the white sleeveless wing collar to see how it does. I prefer the knit pieces though. It’s such a great dress!

    2. Grace

I’m also yearning for the midi skirt and midi dress in Linea navy! And, a longer version of the fabulous sequin skirt has been on my wish list for awhile now. I know I’ve mentioned it here before & others chimed in with interest. St. John did one in black years ago, and I passed on it because of the stunning price tag. But, I’ve thought about that skirt for years! Saw myself wearing it with a simple black turtleneck sweater. I’m keeping hope alive, Louis, even though I know the QVC buyers aren’t fond of holiday wear 😉

      1. louis dell'olio

        What do mean by long?

        1. Grace

Midi to maxi length. The SJ one was ankle length on me.

          1. louis dell'olio

That would be too expensive for QVC….the best I can do is 25…..maybe 26, but that would be a problem for petites, and they won’t buy a sequin skirt in two lengths

            1. Maia

A length of 26″ would be great for me! I’m tall and it would cover my knees. Here’s hoping for such a sequin skirt for next year!

            2. Grace

Thanks, Louis–I understand the challenges with budgets, sizing, etc. We can’t always get what we want 😉

    3. vickybliss

I have the same issue with the neckline and finding something to go under the black is easy. Louis, what sleeveless top (color) would you suggest under the wine colored dress? Thank you.

      1. louis dell'olio

Dear Vickybliss….I would use the ivory with the wine too….it would be easy to accessorize…..black would also work with black boos and gunmetal accessories to keep it all tonal

  11. CC

Louis congratulations to you and your team for the beautiful 2017 offerings. A couple of wishes I have for 2018/19.
    1) Whisper knit in lapis blue
    2) WK short sleeve tops in a longer length.
    3) A WK jacket created similar to A237387 Zip Front Ponte Knit Jacket. This jacket is perfect in so many ways, like the nylon 2way zipper, length, zipper pockets and seaming detail.
    4) Lastly I’m yearning for rich deep blue colors

Thank you for always keeping it real. Hugs to you & Jac.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear CC, the jacket you are referring to is a knit fabric, not a sweater knit, so they wouldn’t be quite the same. With fabric you can shape more that a sweater knit.

      1. CC

Thank you Louis for responding to my wish list😄. Btw I’m living in your new slim ponte pants. Naturally, want them in Navy. I’m tall & size 4 and they are the right length. Since shorter cropped ankle pants are hot right now I also got them in petite. The petite length shows off my ankles in shoes and look 👀 great. Also love the petites since they hit just above the ankle boots—right on trend. We need more of these, they flew out. My favorite A237387 ponte jacket, as you mentioned would not be exactly the same in WK, my hope would be with your magic it could have some of the same useful features — on seam zip pockets, nylon zippers (light weight & don’t Scratch like metal zippers) and the now “required” 2way zip. The length of this jacket is spot on. Honestly find I need this dream jacket for when a more leisure jacket is not quite right. But still want it to have same features.

Ahhh Louis we can always dream.

  12. Tylerpoo

Louis, if you do another WK pants, please consider scarlet red and alabaster. Thanks

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Tylerpoo, there is a good chance the pant will be reordered….I would consider Alabaster and the red, but the red did not sell well in the pencil skirt so I would be hesitant. If the pant didn’t sell because of these new colors it won’t be reordered for a third time. It’s a big chance

      1. Tylerpoo

Louis, I really think the Red WK pencil skirt didn’t do well because of the length, it was too short. The WK midi skirts should do well and if they do, then please consider doing the midi skirts in these colors.

      2. JBCinSD

I’d love the whisper knit pants in charcoal grey, espresso, smoke and hunter green.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

If it gets reordered, they would only order one or two new colors so what are your top two colors, and is the grey the heather charcoal grey as many sweaters and the midi skirt or a solid grey

          1. Jane J.

Louis, I would like a solid very dark charcoal grey and the alabaster. NO scarlet red pants! Thanks for asking.

            1. Grace

I wouldn’t buy red WK pants, either. I would buy charcoal grey.

    2. luvitorleaveit

I would absolutely love to own the WK pants in alabaster and scarlet red! I just ordered the WK skirt in scarlet red I forgot about that all I’m missing is the black but no more size large.

    BEAD NECKLACES UP FOR ORDERING

  14. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

Hi Louis! I have been catching up and reading questions from the Linea Ladies. On the subject of the drawstring pants that came in a taupe brown, a charcoal grey and black, I would like to throw my name into the hat. I purchased multiples of this style along with the matching body suit. They are so soft and comfortable. Mine are pilled and shabby looking at this point, but I cannot part with them. If you decide to redo this pant please stick with the same type of color palette, please don’t change anything about the length, leg width or rise. To get around the buyers objections, you could change the waistband to the wide elastic that you use in the ponte pant. 😘
    Susan

    1. Jane J.

Hi Louis, I’ve posted several times about how much I love my drawstring pants (wearing them today!). Just my opinion, but it’s the drawstring feature that made these pants special. Without that, they would be just regular pants, so I would not want to see a different type of waistband.

      1. Judy M

OK Ladies sounds like a pair I would love to have. always looking for comfort!

  16. Debra

    Dear Louis,
I have gone to the QVC video numerous times, but find it hard to see the “true” color of Paradise Red.
Would it be possible to share some photos of it side by side with the Scarlet to see the variation? I knew that you described it as more of a fuchsia? but it is hard to see.

    many thanks,
    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra, I tried taking pictures but the colors did not come out. Paradise Red is a red with a little fuchsia, so it’s a blue red, not a tomato red.

      1. debra

        Dear Louis,
Thank you for trying. I am trying to see if it varies from the Scarlet Red – that color is a “cool” red I thought and a great color for me. But, I am not sure how you would classify it or if you think that Scarlet is a tomato red…

I have a closet full of your WK and love it!

        thanks,
        Debra

        1. louis dell'olio

Scarlet is not a tomato red. To to would be classified as more of a blue red. It really is a pure red. Paradise red is a blue cool red

    2. gapeach

      Debra,

I have the Paradise Red Sweater, and it is definitely not a scarlet. As Louis says, there is definitely a fushia tone. I really like it; I’ve not seen color to compare it to.

      1. Debra Kurtz

Thank you so much for your help. I ordered the sweater and matching scarf, so good to know that it’s a unique color.

        1. WNYGAL/APRIL

I don’t know if this helps, but I have a Lands End Primaloft quilted jacket in Fuchsia, which is really a very hot pink, which I wear my Paradise Red WK scarf with, & they look fabulous together. But that’s just me.

  17. vickybliss

My first Linea purchase was (A89794) a navy Georgette Floral Print Ruffle Blouse. Louis, could you tell which year you offered this blouse. Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Well Vicky…..since the reviews start in 2011, I would venture to say…..7 years ago?

      1. vickybliss

Didn’t think to look at the reviews and the first one is 05-22-11. Which means probably the spring collection 2011. I still wear this blouse and it is so well made. Louis, thank you so much for your lovely designs.

        1. louis dell'olio

Trish….I think it’s more “in” now then when I first did it.

  18. TrishM

Hi Louis, hope you are having a good November! I cannot believe we are into November already, but i am thinking Christmas presents and I want to get my mom a whisper knit swing sweater, and she loves the cowl neck but she is fussy about colors and I know she wouldn’t want black or grey, and I am finding it hard to wait until Dec 12 to learn what the other 2 colors are, just hoping you can give just one of the other colors? I don’t mean to be so difficult, I know you like some things to be a surprise. But I have limited time to shop. No worries if you can’t. I personally am getting both the black and another color, I don’t care what it is!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Trish…..the colors for the cowl sweater will be black, steel grey, Clove which is a deep olive but not dark, and Rhubarb, The Rhubarb is a med shade of a raspberry brownish red.

      1. TrishM

PERFECT! My mother will love the rhubarb (as will I). Thank you so much, now I know to wait and not worry about her gift. I appreciate that!!

      2. TrishM

PERFECT! my mother and I will both have the rhubarb, and now I can relax about her gift. I appreciate your spilling the beans for me!!

      3. Joanne

        Hi Louis
Do you think your Clove deep olive color of the cowl sweater will match the olive Linea slim ankle pants (A265615).

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne….they aren’t a match but they blend perfectly. That is how I will be showing the tunic.

          1. Joanne

            Hi Louis
This is wonderful that the clove will blend with the olive slim ankle pants. Now I will also be buying the steel gray tunic as well as the clove tunic when they are offered on Big Deal Day.

    2. JBCinSD

Which item number are you asking about, Trish?

      1. TrishM

Hi JBC, it’s the BIg Deal in Dec….a whisper knit swing cowl neck. There are pictures of the grey in Louis’ blog for the ponte pants I think.

    Dear Louis:
Oh my gosh, your clothes are the best and I seldom wear anything else. lucky for me I’ve just dropped a dress and pants size. at the rate I’m going i’ll be doing great for early summer. I noticed your pebble crepe tunic w/pockets is on clearance. is it coming back. it is my favourite go-to top. my 3x and 2x are way too large. if the top is coming back I will stock up on 1x, xl, and lg. that’s where I’m headed. it always sells out so fast. PLEASE don’t retire this top.
    sincerely, Janis Hearn

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Janis…….congratulations on the weight loss. I know it’s a hard thing to accomplish……Unfortunately, if the tunic you are talking about is on clearance then it will not be returning, What is the style number?

    Louis,
Interesting to hear that the bootcut will be in a petite inseam of 29.” That is exactly the length to which I have the regulars hemmed, but I will have to compare the rise. That is usually why I can’t order petites. I usually need regulars for the rise and then adjust the length.

I ordered the new slim leg pants. I never wore slim legs before, but thought I would try them. Since you said that they fit on the top exactly as the bootcut, I ordered the regular length knowing that I would need to hem them, but thought I would need the regular for the rise.

They arrived yesterday and they are actually looser than the bootcut pants on the top. I compared the rise measurements which I should have done before ordering (my fault). In my size, the rise of the of the petite slim leg is the same as the rise of the regular bootcut, not less as petites usually run. I should have ordered the petites. I think I will ask for an exchange of the regulars for the petites. They still have blackberry in my size, but the black is on waitlist. Sometimes it takes a few tries to zero in on the correct size from style to style. I hope buyers don’t count that against you for reorders.

Before doing an exchange, ideally, where should slim leg pants hit? Again, I wear 29″ in the bootcut.

    Many thanks as always!

    1. louis dell'olio

Chris look at the video I think you will get a good Idea where they should hit

  22. Hudson Valley Nancy

    Hi Louis,

Will be staying on Coronado Island in San Diego in a few weeks. Thinking about taking along the swing topper in Alabaster, any other wardrobe ideas for me? The weather has been low 70’s during the day and chilly at night. San Diego is so different than New York, much less formal I think?

    1. louis dell'olio

Not knowing what you own…I would use WK as a base and build from there. One of the poly jersey print tops, one of the Floral blouses or the Big Deal tunic blouse are always good in the evening….not too dressy but just dressy enough with accessories. The swing WK cardigan or any of the WK swing tops always works too.

    2. Sheesh

Nancy, you need the WK SS crew neck top (A267882) in Alabaster to wear with the new Holiday Topper. Wear “the set” over Alabaster, Black or Espresso bottoms—even Olive. Throw on some Linea jewelry and you are all set for a nice evening/dinner in San Diego!

      1. Grace

        Great outfit suggestion!

  23. Chris/Jazzmom

    Hi Louis,

I’ve got a big request. The swing jacket even though I love the color (alabaster) & the fabric, the swing style is not a style I look good in. I did look fabulous in the assymetrical open gauze crepe cardigan in the celadon & black. For next spring/summer could you add alabaster to the color roster of this fabulous open cardigan? It would work with the alabaster pants (A276295) & (A265615).

Alabaster is such a great color on many of us who cannot wear winter or optic white.

    Thanks again.

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. louis dell'olio

Chris….sorry, but that gauze cardigan isn’t being reordered.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Will a jacket other than swing style be offered in alabaster in the future?

        1. louis dell'olio

          Don’t know…..haven’t planned that far….LOL

  24. debra

    Dear Louis,
    Just another fan letter.
I had to pack for three days in Toronto and had rain and wind all three days, leaving and returning.
Your WK is my first and most perfect choice for early winter weather.
I wore my Scarlet crewneck sweater from last year, the WK Charcoal Gray (love it, need black) scarf all three days, my Charcoal Gray WK turtleneck and Gray midi skirt the second day, and the WK black button down swing cardigan over a denim skirt coming home (with the scarf).

There is nothing like WK. Back to work, I am wearing your Blackbery Turtleneck and Midi Skirt today. They are life savers and perfect for this changing weather. Today, I also have my silver trapeze necklace J331644 to pull it all together and add interest.

I would love to see more midi skirts or longer length below the knee in the future. These are fabulous and the Charcoal Gray is a total workhorse for me.

Would love to hear more about what is coming soon. I will be out of the country and sad to miss the December shows as I know I will want whatever you present. I wish there was early ordering so I could get on the list now.

    All the Best,
    Debra

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debra…..the Big Deal is Dec 12th…..Are you gone?

      1. Debra

        We are away Dec 3 – 14.

    2. louis dell'olio

You will just miss it, but since it’s a Big Deal on QVC2, you may be lucky, and there still may be some inventory.

      1. Sheesh

Louis, I placed an order for 8 pieces of your jewelry from Dublin on my iPad! If Debra has a smartphone or a tablet, she can download the app or use the Q’s website and order from overseas—as long as she has an internet connection. Believe me, I do not let international travel keep me from my Linea! Also, you can even buy an internet connection from the airline to use during your flight For long flights, it’s well worth the charge—won’t break the bank.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Shelia…..you are too cute……I love your “never say die” attitude……You must be one hell of a business woman…..and you can take that as a compliment!

  25. Nancy

Dearest Louis, I am very sorry to hear that your Petite sizes aren’t selling. I wear a Petite since I am only 5’1″ and buy your Super Ponte pants every time they are aired, this last show being no exception. However, I ordered the Regular length since the 27″ leg is too short. I will have to shorten the Regular length just as I do with all the others. Please pass on to your buyers that we Petites still want to get your wonderful designs rather than always having to shorten or, worse yet, pass up something say in Whisper Knit, because of the problems with shortening some styles and fabrics. A 28″ leg is just perfect. I have several of your pants that were listed as “Ankle Pants” in the 28″ length. Hope this helps and that they listen. Best wishes as always.

  26. Carol

Hi Louis, In your latest post showing the Crackle & Flower Necklace…what item number is that beautiful shade of purple…looks like a sweater. Somewhere I think I have missed that item…hope it is still available!!! We were traveling last week and I actually took a picture of the news lady on TV with that color of dress on…was going to send it to you as a suggestion for a sweater color. Perhaps you have already done it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Carol…
A298459 is the style number , and it’s the Violet Haze blouse

  27. 1jac

    Hi Louis,
This is a follow up to my question regarding long sleeves on my port reefer coat. I decided to shorten them. I have a wonderful Italian tailor, Angelo, who alters my clothes when needed. I picked it up today and he did a masterful job. He shortened and closed the sleeve completely, sewed back the 3 buttons and stitched a border about a quarter inch from the sleeve edge. I’m so happy I chose to spend the additional $ and now it’s custom made for my needs. The QVC price was quite reasonable for a LDO designer garment. So all the way around, it was $ well spent. Happy ending and I am thrilled. Selfishly, I hope my two Italian “craftsmen” ( for lack of a better word) NEVER retire!!! Thank you again for your wonderful creations.

    1. Sheesh

1jac, where are you—I want to go to Angelo to get my two reefer coat sleeves altered!

      1. 1jac

        Westchester Cty, NY 🙂

        1. Grace

I’d love to have an Angelo in my life–finding a good tailor is priceless. 1Jac, you are a lucky lady!

        2. Sheesh

Oh, I used to live in Westchester County for 10 years, so I know the area well. What is the name of Angelo’s shop, if I may ask? I will drive down and have my 2 Reefer Coats’ sleeves altered! Worth the trip. I don’t think my local seamstress can handle it.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

I’d like to know too….that’s closer to me then is is to you Shelia!

            1. Sheesh

Louis, I found this one in Larchmont—named Tony—not Angelo—but it looks good. http://mancinocustomtailors.com/

But I’ll wait until we hear back from iJac.

            2. Sheesh

OK, Louis, I think I found “Angelo”–I think it’s House of Angelo in Yonkers, NY on 495 Odell Ave. off the Saw Mill Pkwy, north of the Cross County. I’ll do whatever it takes to have the sleeves on my Reefer Coats look perfect!

              Waiting for iJac to verify.

            3. 1jac

              Hi LDO and Sheesh,

Just saw your inquiry about Angelo! You Re a good sleuth Sheesh. It is House of Angelo!,

  28. Becky in Florida

Love your new “Fog” color. Ordered your “Whisper Knit Swing Turtleneck” in the new “Fog”. The turtleneck was too tight on me. Living in Florida, I would much prefer your item A268137 in the new “Fog” color. This is the Whisper Knit Swing V-Neck top. You do have a whisper knit v-neck top in your line but it is not the swing whisper knit.

  29. queendiva

    Hello Louis,
As usual, I enjoyed shopping and watching your “hits” this past week.
Please allow me to say something about a style of pants from several years ago that I LOVED and just reluctantly put into the Donate bag as I have lost too much weight to wear them any longer. They are A227577- poly/rayon knit drawstring pants with pockets. I feel as if I am saying goodbye to an old friend! They were such a comfortable Go To in my casual wardrobe. So Designer!
Needless to say, I would love to see a similar neutral colored casual knit pull-on pant in a drapey fabric in the future.
    Thanks for listening.

    1. Victoria1

I already asked…I have those pants in charcoal gray and brown. I adore them. Louis says nobody bought them, so can’t be ordered😢! Perhaps he will give you another answer!

    2. louis dell'olio

I remember the pant well, and you aren’t the first to request a new version. Every time I mention the request made of this style pant…I am told if it was so popular why wasn’t it a reorder candidate? I am also told that drawstrings do not do well because women don’t like the bulk? I am doing a printed drawstring crop pant for next June….let’s see how it does, and maybe I’ll have some ammunition to bring the pant up again.

      1. Teri

I am wearing mine right now.

        1. queendiva

Thank you ladies and Louis for your replies.
I can live without the drawstring as long as the other criteria are considered.
If I recall correctly the pant was originally offered in three colors. I have the gray and brown/taupe. I have TOO many black pants!
Teri: wish I was wearing a pair of mine now as well.

      2. Judi

I hope the crop pant does well. I love and treasure my drawstring pants, all colors. The fabric is soft, they are comfortable and I don’t find that the drawstring adds any bulk. I don’t understand many of the decisions……….
BTW, the Fall collection is spectacular. I’d be hard pressed to name my favorites!
Best wishes to Jac, I hope you both stay well.

      3. Jane J.

Hi Louis, I’m one of the ladies who has asked you previously about bringing back the drawstring pants A227577. There’s something really nice about this pant — the fabric (52% polyester,48% rayon) that is so soft and drapey and just the perfect weight. The drawstring is essential — easy on, easy off, no bulk. Deep pockets. Perfect pant length and width. One of my black pants is becoming threadbare and I dread the day I won’t be able to wear them anymore. I also have them in the grey and a spare black (thank goodness!). Would love to see them available again.

      4. Anonymous

Add me to the list of those who want them back. I’ve worn mine out but cannot bring myself to throw them out. You don’t want your Linea Ladies all shabby now, Louis!

        crdlb

  30. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. I bought 2 of the Bright Necklaces when they were first ordered. After I received them, and saw how lovely they were, I got on the Waitlist for 2 Blackberry and 1 Alabaster. I just checked my Waitlist and the orders were both recently cancelled. Now, I know they were reordered, and I know you had said at that time for people to get on the Waitlist, but I was already on the Waitlist, and the necklace was not even in the inventory so could not be Waitlisted at that time.

So, it appears that anyone wanting these reorder necklaces has to stalk the inventory and reorder. Do we have any idea of when they are scheduled to reappear so we can “stalk” them? Thanks, Louis.

    Sheila

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You know Shelia….who can guess what’s going on with them. The cancellation may mean nothing. After a certain period they automatically cancel and since yours were from some time ago the dead line may have been reached and yours was canceled?????? Just a guess, but I will check with my manufacturer, and buyers and see if I can get to the bottom of this It may take a day or two or three…..

      1. makp

Thanks for checking on this, Louis. I too had alabaster beads on waitlist since the showing and thought I was all set for the December order, and then last week received cancellation notice. Hate being bumped from the front of the line, but hoping we can order on line as soon as posted thanks to the vigilant Linea Ladies!

  31. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

Hi Louis! I purchased the Polish berets on EBay to match the new sweaters. I love the quality and the fit. Are there any other colors that you have purchased that match up to your Linea color palette?
    Sussn

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Susan……I did but the dark grey to go with the Steel Grey Big Buy coming in Dec.I believe Anne is wearing it with the new slim leg ponte pant

      1. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

        Thank you!

  32. Ruth

    Hi Louis,
    FYI:
Refinery29.com is reporting that “Paperboy caps are out and Modern berets are in”
They continue, “berets are universally flattering. Plus, they’re totally having a moment.”
    http://www.refinery29.com/fall-winter-versatile-clothing#slide-8
Louis, you have your hand on the pulse of style at every turn.

    1. louis dell'olio

Hi Ruth….thanks for the article. I just like the look of berets and I always have used them. It’s nice to know that they are in, but in France they never went out…..LOL

  33. Ruth

Hi Louis, I caught both your shows on Saturday and purchased the pants in black and gray and the jacket in black and red. I’m really looking forward to receiving them! It’s so enjoyable to watch your presentations. You are both informative and entertaining. Can’t wait for your December shows!

  34. Kathy/Wis

    Hello Louis
Just heard the news on the bar earrings! I guess they heard us.
    Thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

YES THEY DID. I told them and told them I got SO MANY REQUESTS! Now they better sell or they will never listen to me again!!!! LOL

      1. Kathy/Wis

Don’t worry we will sell them out ! Will they be sold separately or in a box of two or more?

        1. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

No worries Louis! I was just looking for an earring to wear with my shiny black set. Can’t wait!! Thanks for being our advocate!
          Susan

      2. Goldie76

Louis, will they come in both clip and pierced?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Pierced only. I’m lucky I got them to buy them. I didn’t want to push it

          1. Goldie76

            Got it! LOL

      3. Sheesh

Well I’ll be buying Gold, Silver and Black! I think the majority of us will be buying multiples! Thanks for staying on the buyers!

        Sheesh/Sheila

    2. louis dell'olio

Not sure yet. I think they are planning to sell them separately. Due to the way they are made as solid bars and highly polished, and then the special packaging with the vacuum packed bars….they won’t be inexpensive.

  35. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Double “yays” on the bar earring coming next year! THANK YOU for making this happen so quickly! I’ll be buying every color and doubles for gifts–and I doubt I’ll be alone. The “bar suite” is now complete and what a stunning set it is…

    1. Stephanie

      Bar earring..YES!!!

No amber seed bead this year, though? Hasn’t posted yet.

      1. louis dell'olio

Sorry….next May with 3 other new colors and the CUFFS

  36. Shari

    Louis
I ordered the black and the grey slim leg ponte pants.
Those are a no brainer, but was wondering on the blackberry,
if you thought it might go with any pinks, light grey, black?
Couldn’t tell on the show if it was more purple tone or more
    of a burgandy tone.
I’ve never had your ponte pants and am excited to receive them.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shari….the blackberry is a deep color. Is has more purple,in it than wine, but it is by no means purple. It is more neutral then you would think and would look wonderful with all the colors you mentioned. I have already shown it with the Violet Haze blouse with the trumpet sleeve. I love it with greens, aqua and turquoise. You really have to play mixing colors and accessories.

  37. Chris S.

    Louis,
I’m wondering about the new jacket over your fuller leg crepe gauze pants, or would it be too much volume? I am also thinking about the long whisper knit skirts you’ve done. Would those work with the jacket? I have your “vintage” black velvet pants that I’m looking forward to trying with the jacket for a holiday look. I sure would like more of your velvet.

    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris……all of your combinations would work…..but…..it all depends on attitude. I see no reason why you can’t wear the gauze pant with the top. It’s not a palazzo pant. The long WK skirt with boots would look great, and the velvet pant is perfect….if you are short and a plus it probably won’t work ar well, because it can be a lot of clothes to carry off. Then I would suggest a slim pant like the new Super Ponte slim pant and a simple WK tank or shell

      1. Chris S.

Thank you. I’ll try them all and see how I feel the most comfortable. It’s nice to have so many options with your pieces I’ve been collecting!

  38. Jen

Louis, I woke up at 3 am and ordered all 3 colors in the new slim leg pant. Early bird gets the worm! Can’t wait to receive them. Everything you do is beautiful!

  39. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. Was that a Sneak Peek on the Ombre Cuff in Red that Angela was wearing this AM? Please say YES!!!! Don’t tell us that it is yet another design offering of yours that the Buyers rejected!!!

    Sheila/Sheesh

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shelia the necklace and cuff will be BOTH coming next May……sorry for the long wait, but they are part of my Spring /Summer line. And the color Jacque was wear….the black/gold and topaz is coming too

      1. Grace

        Oh, that IS wonderful news!!!

      2. Sheesh

        FABULOUS!

        Love, Sheila/Sheesh

  40. Debbie M.

    Hi Louis,

Can you provide an update on the crackle bead sets? Do you still expect them to be available by tomorrow?

  41. Terri

    Good morning Louis!
Will the Trouser Socks A283073 be reordered for this year? Those are a staple and I have had them on waitlist forever, it seems!

    Thanks!

    Terri

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes Terri they should be arriving this month, but I never know when items that are not part of a show get posted???

    2. luvitorleaveit

They cancelled my order that I placed in August I ordered the three new colors. I thought since they posted it was available but I guess not.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I ‘m not surprise! They will be in soon. I received my samples and they are all wonderful

  42. Mimi

Please tell Jac as always, she will be sorely missed. I hope she’s ok and her back is the same and stays that way. See you soon. Take care and be careful out there. Please take special care of yourself in the next few days and always.

  43. Cheree in Chicago

Louis, you will forever be one of my favorite designers. I had the pleasure of meeting you back in the ’80s when I was on a long-term temp assignment with Anne Klein II working with Maurice Antaya, Helen Wong etc.. So glad to see you’re still on the scene. Thank you for your timeless creativity and continued contribution to Fashion. – Cheree

    1. louis dell'olio

Cheree, nice to hear from you….I still speak to Maurice….it’s hard to keep up

  44. Ann

How do you suggest accessorizing the Port Reefer Coat? A woven scarf, a satin scarf or something else? I’m going to the Philadelphia Art Museum craft show next week and it might be the opportunity to pick something up.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Ann…..accessories are the most personal think you can wear. They really are an extension of your personality…..all you mentioned are great choices…..choose what you love and it will be perfect!

  45. Fairfax

Anyone else waiting for the wire cuffs??

    1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Fairfax, I’ve been checking daily since Louis announced their reorder with a possible October arrival. I’m so excited that these are returning.

    2. Bernadette

I am. I check multiple times a day. I missed out on the Etruscan necklace in the green patina so I keep checking for that as well. I did grab the fishie. 😄

Hopefully they will appear soon. Checking for items feels like a full time job!!! Lol

      1. louis dell'olio

I checked for you and they shipped to QVC yesterday so it should be some time late next week or after the following…..depending when they get processed..

        1. Fairfax

Thank you for checking. I can’t wait. I wear my matte gold almost daily, and
I’m looking forward to the rest of them. You are the best!!

        2. Bernadette

          Thank you. 🤗

  46. Kate

I know you’ve heard this before I want to let you know that I sent two pieces of Linea jewelry to the manufacturer in RI a few week ago for replating. They were the multi-chain necklace and bracelet from many years ago. Over time they had dulled. The pieces arrived today packaged in your signature boxes and chiffon bags, and were in pristine, as-new condition. Thank you for working with your people to make this type of service happen.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Kate….I’m really happy that they did this for you and the pieces arrived as you would have liked. I have to give all the credit to the jewelry company I work with. At one time they used to do all their manufacturing in R.I. as so many other firms did, but Americans want everything for less, and they were forced to close much of their facility and go to China like everyone else. All of my Anne Klein Couture was made in R.I. Not a piece was made over seas. They still have a very small operation that manufactures very special pieces [very expensive], mostly in silver, and they have the capability to fix and replate pieces. How long this will last is anyone’s guess, but the owner is a wonderful man who stands behind his products…..even if they are made else where.

  47. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

My nephew is getting married in November in Raleigh, North Carolina. The wedding will be at a hotel with the ceremony on an outdoor patio (weather permitting) and the reception and dinner in doors. Dress is “semi-formal.”

It’s been years since I’ve been to a wedding and I’m not sure what the proper dress code is now. I have a closet full of Linea mostly in black along with other neutrals. I also have several non-Linea cocktail type dresses. Would it be appropriate to wear black at the wedding??? I have both of your sequin skirts (tiny interspersed sequins and the other is the full large sequins) as well as your sequin dress in black. I also have the whisper knit dresses from a few years ago in black and olive. I’m thinking the sequins would be too much and the whisper knit dresses not dressy enough? Dancing will be part of the festivities so I will need to be able to move freely. Any suggestions that you have would be greatly appreciated.

    Can I wear black?

    Thank you!

    Carol

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Carol, yes you can wear black……anything goes today. You can wear a black top and bottom with a color jacket like the new alabaster shantung jacket or anything else you may own…..a sequin skirt with a black sweater set and pearls would also work.Semi formal means no long dresses, but is open to many possibilities.

      1. Carol in FL

Thank you so much! Looking forward to the upcoming shows.

        Carol

  48. Jen

Louis I had to share… back in the summer I ordered your crepe gauze tank in my normal size medium. Unfortunately I had to send it back because I’m large busted and there was no give across my chest. When you presented the new top in the violet haze I thought I would give it a try because of the new material having stretch. I just tried it on in a medium and it’s perfect! I love this new material! I tried it on with my blackberry bead necklace and it is stunning. I will have to go back and get another color. Thanks for making us look sooo good. I will be watching on Fri. and Sat. Have a safe trip.

  49. 1jac

My question is for Louis the Tailor, not the designer. Your beautiful reefer coat is way too long in the sleeves. I tried your suggestion of turning it back. I’m afraid it changes this sleek, sophisticated look entirely. By turning the sleeve completely under,so no buttons are showing is the right sleeve length I need. I’d like your opinion before taking it to my tailor. If I go this route, do you suggest sewing back on the three buttons on each sleeve? Sadly, I am considering return it.Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jen1…..First you must show it to your tailor and see what he/she suggests. If he can shorten it, you can have the buttons sewn on top, and you can even close the remaining button holes. but it’s better if the tailor sees it.

  50. TrishM

Hi Louis! Every Christmas I present my dad with a sweater…usually cashmere. Now that he’s getting a bit older my mom wants something that is easy to wash and comfortable and I just want to get him a Whisper Knit Sweater!! Do you have ANY PLANS to do a man’s sweater, or, can you recommend some manufacturer who makes men’s whisper knit equivalent sweaters?? Thank you. I wear whisper knit to work at least 3 days a week. XOXO Thank you!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Trish…….I honestly don’t know a men’s line that does an equivalent of a WK. I do wear the WK T Necks in a 3X, but he may not wear TN sweaters.

  51. Ruth

Hi Louis, I’m wondering if you could share the fabric content of the Shantung Swing Jacket. If there’s a bit of spandex (which I like) it affects what size I get. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

      Ruth….it’s 95% Polyester and 5% spandex

      1. Ruth

Wonderful! Do you know what size Jac is wearing in it? Knowing that helps me too.

        1. louis dell'olio

          XS….she has broad shoulders.

          1. Ruth

Thank you for that info. I take an XS in the Gauze Crepe Stand Collar Tunic which has some spandex and a swing shape. I had to go to a S in
A235322 3/4 Sleeve Open Front Jacket in what looks like Noil or Tussah silk – no spandex and a more boxy shape. The shantung jacket has some spandex and appears to have some swing. I know you can’t guarantee anything but what do you think XS or S for me?

Thank you, Louis, for the new shantung jackets! I have been hoping for more of your shantung pieces, as I love all of your past jackets! They are my all-season favorites: olive and blue safari unlined jackets and pink and pale blue lined swing jackets from years ago. I always receive compliments when I wear them. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I try to find special occasion jackets, and they’re always sent back because they aren’t the quality of yours and are almost 10 times the cost. I plan to order all three of your color choices and will be so happy! I’ve been praying that the QVC buyers would approve some special occasion fashions of yours. Hopefully, they will approve at least one lovely suit or outfit a season. I’m still wearing your crinkle velvet long jacket and skirt in black and purple and the woven skirt with matching jacket with satin ruffled collar and sleeves. When I wear that suit, all compliments include the same word,”class.” That’s the essence of all your designs!

  53. Romy

Hi Louis, My all time favorite pants is your A257338 that was done in I think the same material as your new slim super ponte pant being shown Friday, is that right? I can see that the inseam is going to be a bit longer which is great for me but I was wondering how the fit on the new pant would compare to A257338? My old pant was part of a pant and blazer offering you did several years ago, that I still love.
    Thanks kindly, Romy

When are the 3 pkg. hosiery items you make being presented? I just received 3 notices that my orders have been cancelled, and I can’t go back and reorder them. So when are they being presented? I just need to keep an eagle eye out for them. Thank you!

    1. JBCinSD

Louis answered earlier that his trouser socks would likely be available in November. He has added some colors.

      1. Marla Reames

Thank you, JBCinSD,so much for the information. I don’t see all of the responses on this page. I ordered all 3 new colors and am hoping black is coming back! If you see they have been posted please post. I am going into stalking mode and will post if I see it first!!

    1. louis dell'olio

That is the # for the new petite pant being shown on Friday morning.

  56. Judy

I’m so confused please tell us the difference between the new super pointe pants coming Friday and the other super pointe slim pants A282511 is there a difference or is this the same pant just more colors?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Judy there are 3 Super Ponte pants…the Boot Cut…the one you mentioned which is a straight leg and the new one which is a slim leg.

    Hi Louis,

I just saw an update on the storm. Please stay safe. We’re thinking about you, Jac, and the girls.

    Prayers for you all.
    Bernadette

    1. louis dell'olio

The storm was wicked! So much rain and wind!! It has stopped raining for now, but we really needed it….The winds continue…..We fared pretty well, but my neighbor lost a huge tree that when crashing through his fence….better than the house!

      1. Bernadette

Glad to hear all us well. Yes, the fence is much better for the crab than the house.

Hope to see Jac on this next trip.😊

        Take care,
        Bernadette

        1. Bernadette

Phones are such a pain. Crash not crab. Lol. 😉

  58. Ruth

Hi Louis, I received my black Reefer Coat and it is perfection! Thank you so much for bringing us these beautiful clothes.

  59. Jen

Louis, can you tell me the inseam on the new ponte slim pant?

    1. Jen

I just read in your post 30 inches for the regular length and that works great for me. I am average height and 32″ are just too long for me. So this is great news!

  60. Christine

Love Love Love the new holiday swing jacket. Will it match the red sequined top and skirt you did a few years ago?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Christine….I no longer have those pieces, but if you have anything in the Scarlet Red Whisper Knit, and they work together with the sequins then yes. I am willing to say they will go well together.

      1. Christine

Thanks. I plan to get the holiday jacket in either case. Will have no problem finding something to wear with it. Thanks for designing such fabulous clothes!!

  61. Clarika

    Hallo Mr Dell’olio

Would you consider wearing the alabaster with navy? I am a bit pale for black, so navy is my uniform. I am really liking the new shirt/jackets and how about the scarlet with your winter white?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Clarika….yes to both questions…..The charcoal grey would be perfect too

  62. Jen

Louis- I noticed “Y” necklaces on the models that had geometric shapes. Will we be seeing those necklaces next year?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jen…..yes, the Geometry necklace and earring set is for next Spring

      1. Jen

        Ok. Thank you.

  63. louis dell'olio

I would go with the zig zag….do you have the crepe gauze cardi and tank. They would all look great together.

    1. Melissa

Thank you for your input Louis. I don’t think I have the crepe gauze tank and cardi. I don’t remember why, lol. I need to look in my closet and if not, I’ll see if it’s still available in my size. Thanks again!

      1. louis dell'olio

You can use any black tank top….the WK tunic tank?….it’s the cardi that is important…..Do you have any of the Aztec necklaces? They would be perfect.

        1. Melissa

Yep! I have the WK tunic tank (in all colors, love it) and if for some reason it’s cold I have the long sleeved version. I also have the WK swing cardi and the other long cardi you did last year(?). I have the alabaster Aztec necklace. That would look good. Thanks for the suggestion!

          1. louis dell'olio

I think you’re all set, and you didn’t have to buy anything!

  64. Terri

    Good morning Louis!

I have the port blazer coat and honestly it is the BEST ever! I have never had a coat that actually makes one look svelte, it is that figure flattering. One related question….I have been to the eBay site looking for berets that you mentioned and i can’t find the color that matches the port. Can you give me any help on the shades listed as far as the name of the color?

    Many thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Terri….I got my wine beret years ago and it just happened to be dark enough to work with the Port…..it’s a treasure hunt.

  65. Melissa

    Hi Louis,

I have a wedding to go to in a few weeks. Outdoor wedding in Florida. Trying to figure out what to wear. Does the abstract print top in sienna go with the pleated skirt in adobe? I thought I remembered reading about that combination. I have the top, not the skirt.

Also considering wearing your zig zag skirt in the brown tones, not sure which too. Depends on the weather.

    Thanks!

    1. Linda in AZ

Hello Melissa. Louis would be the final authority on answering your question. But I just wanted to say that I have the Sienna abstract top and the adobe pleated skirt. They go well together to my eyes. Hope you enjoy the wedding. Linda
