Dear Louis,
My comment is in response to your request for leather jacket colors. I agree with many other ladies that navy would be great to add. Then in thinking about another color I thought dark chocolate brown would go with the new boho skirts and shirts in dark olive, steel grey, and wine. Then as I thought about it more, I wondered what colors the new WK pieces will be, because most of us would like a jacket to wear over any WK skirt or pant and top sets you are planning since we all seem to love the column of color concept. Hope this is helpful!
I loved your Easter photo!
Hello again, Louis! Your new lace tops and cami’s, in black and white, are stunning, and should come with a warning: If you don’t like getting compliments then these are not for you! People seem to feel compelled to tell me how gorgeous they are! Whether dining in a restaurant, or waiting for our table at the bar, total strangers approach me to offer compliments on them. When I wore the white one to Easter Sunday Mass, friends, strangers, and even the pastor, told me how special it is.
As a woman who just celebrated a significant birthday (in the black lace set), I must say you have taken me from feeling invisible to loving fashion again. My closet is now almost exclusively LDO, and always contains the right thing to wear for any occasion!
Louis!!! I received most of my goodies today! Oh my gosh, where do I begin…
The maxi dresses. I got the rich chocolate and dreamy blue. They fit perfectly! I’m 5’5” and ordered the regular length before I saw your presentation where you suggested women my height could go with the petite. Well, it was too late to change my order since the petites were selling out. The regular comes to my ankle and looks great. Perhaps down the road I will get them hemmed because I think they’ll look good a little shorter too. I am considering the island fuchsia in the petite…
I got the wildflower cold shoulder tops and ruffle skirts in both colors. While it may seem unnecessary to get such a distinctive outfit in both colors, I couldn’t resist. These are a wow and even prettier in person!!! While the black may be the obvious choice for many, and it is beautiful, the rhubarb is so gorgeous! Love the different colors in each set. The cold shoulder top fits perfectly. Shows a nice amount of shoulder, but isn’t droopy or gappy. Yet it has great coverage for bra straps. The skirt is soooo fun and flirty. When I unwrap packages and try things on, I have an audience. My cocker spaniels were watching me with delight. And when I had the skirt and top on I was being silly and twirling and twisting and my boys were watching their crazy mommy with their tails wagging. It was funny.
I got all three WK tops and love them with the skirts as well.
And last but not least, I got the petal necklace in chocolate. Such a cool necklace. It looks so substantial, yet it’s practically weightless. Just beautiful. I am hoping I can snag a silver one.
Happy birthday to me. 😊
Happy Happy Birthday Melissa…..I’m so happy you loved everything…..that makes my day!
Glad I could make your day. Your beautiful items sure made mine! 😄
Hello Louis,
On Easter I wore the ivory blazer and pants with your new scarf in the lighter color “Out of Africa” style as you had one of the models wearing it on your show. It draped so beautifully and I loved the look.
One question about the A302609 tank. I ordered the small and it is a bit too big, but I’m afraid the extra small might be a bit tight (plus it’s on waitlist in the Robin’s Egg blue). I don’t sew, but would it be difficult for a tailor to take it in a little on the sides? Not sure how easy it is to work with whisper knit fabric.
Thank you, Louis. ~ Barbara
Barbara a tailor could easily take it in.
Louis,
Do you have an ETA for the next delivery of new colors for the Crinkle Georgette shirt (A214117)? Looking forward to adding to my growing collection of this shirt.
Thank you.
Should be sometime this month.
Dear Louis. Hope you had a blessed Easter with your family. l was Linea head to toe. Wore the pink long WK cardi and tank with the pale pl
Ink crystal necklace set and black slim ankle pants and black lace trouser six I received three compliments and felt great .Thank you for all you do for us Fro m one of your oldest and longest fans and customers fro the 1970s
Louis,
I received both scarves on Saturday and found them to be as beautiful as I had anticipated. Oh my, all I could do was revel in their sumptuous beauty. Such colors! Such a design! As one of your “Lineaputians,” I plan to use them as cover-ups over some of my spring and summer outfits (after folding them into a triangle). May I request something? I’d love some standard-sized scarves done in your inimitable colors and outstanding designs. Thank you.
Count me in for the smaller-sized scarves. The larger ones overwhelm me, but I do love the ones you do.
The size of my favorite silky scarves – around 76″L X 30″W – a rather large rectangle. This allows me to tie it in several different ways.
New Red leather would be perfect for all our navy and denim. Thank you
I left my house for 10:00 Mass this morning wearing the new crop pants in black, the long sleeve jewel neck WK sweater in Topaz, & the car-length ponte coat in Sweet Potato with the big buttons from years ago, & the Linea beaded earrings that are triangular-shaped with white, brown & dark brown beads (they have a matching necklace but I forget the name of the set). But there was a stray pitbull running around in the street with no collar…I couldn’t bring her in my house because I have 3 dogs & didn’t know how they would get along. Anyway, I took her to the Shelter which opened at 10:00 thank God…I was shocked but happy it was open on Easter. She is microchipped but the chip wasn’t registered. From there she will be released to a Pitbull Rescue that a neighbor is connecting her with. My neighbor thinks she was “dumped” because we have never seen her before & don’t know who she could belong to. So now I’m back home waiting to go to noon Mass.
Happy Easter!
Julie, what a kind heart you have! You will be blessed for helping this poor dog.
Jane, she was so friendly & sweet, & I hope she is placed in a wonderful & loving home.
Enjoyed my first day out of the house to go Easter Mass this morning since catching the flu. Thank goodness for z pack and tamiflu. It was cold here, I wore blackberry pants, print blouse, and faceted beads. I wore the fawn reefer coat and had on the black lace trouser socks. There is nothing like looking pulled together to lift the spirits. Thank you for working so hard for us Linea ladies! Much love and positive thoughts! Nancy
Happy Easter Louis! Just wanted you to know I am wearing Linea (black shell, skirt and crème jacket) today along with one of your old pearl gold & black necklaces. I am really excited to put this all on and I have you to thank for this feeling. My words cannot express how grateful I am for the design, quality and inspiration you put into each garment. Your pansy tribute to Jac was very touching and I am sure she is smiling down at you thanking you and wishing you a Happy Easter.
I just received the beautiful scarves. They are breathtaking! Now I’m imagining a pansy print scarf…..
Happy Easter!
Hi Louis,
Will you have any white skirts this season other than the white boho?
Thank you,
Bernadette
No Bernadette, I had a beautiful Super Ponte pencil in white, but in the end it wasn’t bought. I’ve kept the sample so I will keep trying.
Thank you. I was just watching your shows from last year and Jac was wearing the boat neck tunic in turquoise with the orange seed bead necklace. She had on a white skirt and gold shoes. Stunning and I was hoping to get the same look.
Maybe next year. 😀
Have a blessed Easter. May it be full of tales of your adventures with Jac and may they all make you smile and warm your heart.
God bless,
Bernadette
Please keep trying Louis! I would love an ivory ponte pencil skirt!
Think how beautiful the white skirt would look with your new tropical scarves in either color! I have both scarves and they are magnificent. I am only 5’4″, but I can wear them around my shoulders with many of your items–sleeveless black dress, green chemise dress, navy crop pants and sleeveless top, etc. I think they would be amazing with a white ponte skirt. I do understand that some smaller women would like a smaller scarf some day, but not me–I love this size–it is luxurious and so unique!
My Easter outfit was a breeze to figure out thanks to you Louis! I will be in Linea head to ankle, wearing the pink sequin crepe top, the white pointe pant, a vintage white shimmery 3/4 sleeve jacket with the new scarf in white, pale pink peep toes and a pale pink bag! It is so much fun to shop my closet! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us!
Much love. Enjoy Easter with your family.
Susan
Louis, on the new Denim, what will it be, a pant, skirt, jacket? Most important the pants, what kind of leg will it have and will it have a zipper or pull on. Thanks, please give us a hint!!
It’s a boot cut and it has a zipper and button. It’s not a pull on.
Louis as my orders trickle in I just received the scarves and oh my goodness they are so very beautiful and versatile just looking at them makes the chill and dampness disappear here in NYC. I brought 2 white and a blue….one of each for me and a present to give now I just ordered 3 more before these sell out. I didn’t realize you signed them as well thank you that is truly a special treat. My rave review has been done.
Hi, Louis. Almost my entire order during the Jayne show has gone to the dreaded Back Order–my Wild Flower Cold Shoulder and Skirt and my 2 Petite Maxi Dresses and my Coral WK Scoop Neck Tunic w/pockets! Do you know what that means? I called the Q Customer Service and I was told that the manufacturer agreed to provide additional inventory and that I will most likely get them. She also said that Back Order Items takes precedence over Waitlist Items. Is that correct? Thanks.
Dear Shelia……I truly do not know what a “Back Order” means. What I do know is no additional orders have been placed for any of these items. I would surmise, they are oversold, and they are waiting for cancellations and or returns. I do know no additional orders have been place, and i do not know why you would have been told that, but I will check on Tues. in case I’m wrong. It would literally take months to print, cut and make additional pieces.
OK, thanks, Louis. When I mentioned this on the Q Linea Forum, the gals mostly thought I’d been given wrong information by Customer Service, too. Looks like I may not get my order after all. Sigh…..
Enjoy Easter at your brother’s home! Eat some chocolate eggs!
I think backorder means you probably will get your orders. It just takes longer. I’ve had many things go to backorder and they go into process a few days later.
Well, will wonders never cease! My order now states In Process! Yeah!
FABULOUS! It was meant to be!!
About Wait List – I’m guessing part of this is waiting for returns & exchanges to come in and be sent out to wait list orders. If this is the case I could see it taking 3-4 weeks after the initial orders were placed after shows. I placed an order on Mar. 2, received it Mar 10th, took it to the post office for an exchange the same day and from Portland, OR and it took a full 14 days (!) for it just to be sent from my post office and to be delivered to QVC in PA on Mar. 23. Add a few days for processing the exchange. I used the prepaid label and have expressed by strong dissatisfaction of the return/exchange process to QVC.
I have suggestions for leather colors, British Tan also a Aqua, for a spring surprise. If the buyers won’t go for a spring color for winter. What about a winter white. Fingers crossed.
A leather jacket in Linea navy would be wonderful. I have so many other pieces in that great color.
Louis,
It’s my birthday and I took the day off of work to hang out with my dogs and do whatever I feel like. Will probably end up doing some preparation for Easter company and maybe take a long nap. 😊
Right now I’m rewatching some of your shows that I recorded. I love the WK swing tank. I have every color and think they are going to look great with your new crop pants that I got. Since they are on clearance are they not coming back in new colors?? Any similar tanks coming? I just ordered your three new ones to go with the wild flower ruffle skirts.
Also bummed to hear the WK tunic with pockets isn’t coming back. 😕
Dear Melissa….enjoy your day. I hope your weather is better than ours. Gloomy, rainy and cold. There are no plans to bring back anything like the swing tank since it really didn’t sell well? I was disappointed about the straight bottom tunic with the pockets too.
Thank you Louis! Not to rub it in, but the weather is beautiful here. Warm and sunny. Not too hot yet. You need to visit Florida!
I do not understand why the swing tank didn’t sell well. Especially when everyone loves the long sleeve version! Wonderful style and colors in my opinion. That and the tunic are great basics for me. Disappointing.
Oh well, I know you have more beautiful items coming.
Hope you have a nice Easter with your family. I mentioned before I’m looking forward to wearing the beautiful exotic floral top in alabaster. Perfect for the occasion.
Take care,
Melissa
Dear Louis
Loved all your shows, especially the one with Jayne. It was classic Linea with a twist of fun and the enjoyment of fashion! You were at your best and your collaboration of ideas with Jayne made it even more special! Judging by the models’ reactions, they loved your creations, too! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to making these real fashion presentations. What a pleasure to watch. Yes, as Jac said, you were fabulous, and I am sure she is proud! Now that you are home you deserve a very special Easter with your family…including the girls who I hope are curled up with you even now! In regard to leather colors, I would like dark brown, navy or bronze. Thanks so much for asking for our input.
Dear Wendy, actually what Jac would tell me is, “go out there and be “wonderful””. I hope I was for my Angel.
Louis, you were fabulous! It was such an entertaining show with Jayne. I love that Katia makes you laugh—she’s a hoot! We can laugh together and cry together, that’s what friends do…….
It feels good to laugh….it’s been a long time that I’ve had anything to laugh about.
Thanks again, Louis, for your fabulous visit and designs! To lift your spirits, I must share two elevator experiences which involve my beloved gauze crepe stand up collar shirt jackets in black and aqua mist (my favorite color). As we travel frequently, they are so perfect that I always take them.
We visit Italy about once a year, and my philosophy is “One cannot out-dress the Italians”.
However, one evening at our favorite Amalfi Coast resort my husband and I took the elevator to go out for the evening. I was wearing the black gauze crepe jacket. A charming Italian gentleman, whom we’d met earlier, entered the elevator, and immediately exclaimed, “Madame, your jacket is beautiful!”
Recently we boarded a Florida resort elevator when I was wearing the aqua mist. The woman next to me said, ” You look so elegant you must be going somewhere special!”
Louis, your designs are a treasure!
Dear Pamela….I’m happy to hear you are getting compliments all over the world! I know the Amalfi coast very well. I worked with Andrea Pfister on the AK show collection for 17 years, twice a year, and we worked in his villa in Praino, which is the next town down from Positano. Jac would often come with me during the summer trip. It was, as you know, Paradise. His villa was very well known as it was the last villa before the cliffs went down to the sea. You could see his villa from all the hotels along the coast. He was very good friends with the owners of the Saint Pietro Hotel and the Sirenusa [I’m sure I spelled that wrong]….and Jac and I became friends with them also. We had many fabulous dinners and lunches at the hotels, and everyone was dressed beautifully…..so getting a compliment from an Italian man is a high compliment indeed! Were either of these the hotel you stayed at?
We love Eden Roc Hotel in Positano. It’s a boutique Hotel with 27 rooms. Dominic Casola built it in the ’60’s, and now has other properties as well. We stay in the same suite every time, enjoying its large balcony overlooking the water. It’s just above Le Sirenuse, and we feel it is more classically Italian. The staff has been there for ages, (now including his sons) welcoming us like family. Dominic is very likely to insist we join him for some limoncello he just made. His wife still presides over the kitchen. They’re likely to urge us to have some figs freshly picked from their garden. Carlo, the wine steward, is so knowledgeable that now we just let him select the wines to be shipped back home. We use the same driver every year, and Alex know how to get us into some magical places. He also drives Sophia Loren, among other stars, and pointed out her villa to us. Now you know why we keep returning!
Easter blessings to you, Louis!
British tan would be great for leather. I am really enjoying wearing the WK tunic with pockets. I have all four colors and am sad to hear it may not be reordered in more colors. They are the type of pieces one goes to 80% of the time. Also love the Pompeii necklaces which work so well with the sweaters. Is there any chance the Pompeii necklace could be done in a similar Silvertone? Pink, pale violet, icy blue, mocha, and dove gray would be great – just dreaming!
Stephanie. it is too soon to know if they will reorder the Pompeii since they still own it in two colors. Their jewelry budget is tight so sometimes it’s a choice of bringing something back or bringing in new, which is unfortunate. For instance the Scythe necklace should definitely be reordered, but it may not be if we want to bring in new items. They really should have a separate budget for reorder items.
Thank you for asking us what colors we would like in leather. I would most appreciate your leather in a Linea Navy to go with all my beautiful LDO Navy pieces. In navy It would also be perfect with my blue jeans. I do not have any navy leather items. If this new leather item has my beloved whisper knit in it—-how useful it would be to use with my other navy WK pieces. For me, your navy items are invaluable and transition easily through all 4 seasons.
As many of us, I wear a ton of black items and they are everyday necessities. But LINEA navy is its kinder, gentler sister that I require just as much as black.
Louis, I would like a camel color leather jacket. It could be worn into spring.Thank you so much for your beautiful designs and hard work. Gayle
Hello Louis,
In response to your query about a leather color, my suggestion would be British Tan.
I was able to watch your very enjoyable, informative, and fun shows with Jill, Jayne and briefly with Leah.
Thank you, Louis.
Leather colors:
dark, rich chocolate (and some super ponte pants to match would be nice, too)
KUDOS from me too, Louis. All the shows were fabulous and taped for re-viewing. I love rewatching, getting ideas for ways to put things together. I always love you with Jill and Jayne—perfect pairings. They give you all the time you deserve to explain design, fashion, trends, history etc., without silly banter interruptions!!!! THANKS FOR A GREAT WEEK. Have a blessed Easter with your family. You know we will all be thinking of you. XOXO
Karla
Louis, what a fabulous week! Your two shows with Jill and Jayne were so great and of course I loved all the presentations! Jayne and you were so funny, so light, so informative and so enjoyable. What a joy to watch! Even your girls were having fun, too! There is such joy when you are paired with Jayne and Jill, it is lovely to see. They both give you the opportunity to educate us regarding your designs and how you chose your fabrics. This is how it should be. I hope QVC takes note of these pairings! My credit card is burning and I eagerly await my UPS man with all my goodies! Congratulations on beautifully presented and successful shows!
Bravo to you, Jayne, and the models. The show was one of THE most enjoyable I have seen on the Q in a long time. It was a blend of good info from you, lots of humor, some improv, and a good pace of providing product. I like that the models interacted with you and Jayne too. No nonsense boring chatter. Professionalism by all. You all were having so much fun it made me want to go out with all of you after the show! The show should be used as a training guide for all new hosts – and some current ones too. I am at the airport waiting to go somewhere warm decked out in full Linea!
Hey Louis! Safe travels to your brothers’ house for Easter. I think the shows went great! I got everything I wanted, (and more…)
Hi Louis,
I enjoyed seeing you on the shows and hits. I so appreciate all of the work you do to provide such beautiful clothes. I used to sew, and especially notice and admire the detailing on the garments.
The green print top (that is coming) with the lighter green and camo green looked so attractive. I really would love to see more greens.
It must be exhausting doing all that you do from the design, planning, arranging, and all of the steps involved in putting on a show like you do.
Loved all the shows! Already have the tiger lily top, can’t wait for the scarf. You and Jayne are perfect together. Sending love from the PNW. Safe trip home.
Dear Louis,
You’re probably exhausted, but just want you to know how much I enjoyed all your shows this week. So many pretty new things heading my way. I’m most excited about the cold shoulder top, which I’m getting in rhubarb, and the wood/leaf necklaces that are coming home to me in the gray and ivory. (Along with a whole bunch of other things!)
Every show and “hit” were a home run!
crdlb
The beautiful Petal Necklace is completely SOLD OUT! Waitlist available for Chocolate only!
Hi Louis,
I pre-ordered the ruffled skirt and was waiting to see the pinstripe embroidered shirt, but no! I’ve been checking every day to
see if it’s posted. When you put it on your blog I knew I must have it and the skirt. I love your embroidered pieces and your floral prints. I have a burgundy open front sweater with embroidery on the sides from a few years ago which I still wear often. My granddaughter was about five when I got it and she loved it. She called it a sweater jacket. We share a love of fashion.
My best to you for the Easter season.
Dear Gail, the emb. Stripe shirt is due in April.
Louis, thanks so much for letting me know. I’ll be watching with credit card in hand!
Hi Louis, Thought you’d like to know that QVC just sent out emails saying you’ll be on tomorrow (Thursday):
Linea by Louis Dell’Olio
Thursday, 03/29/2018, 3:00PM – 4:00PM EDT
Yes, I received this too. I thought “What the heck?” Especially that they sent me NO notices about all of the shows from these past two days. I assume this email is a mistake??
That’s a mistake. My buyers don’t know anything about it
Dear Louis,
I really enjoyed your show with Jill yesterday. You two work so well with each other. It’s nice when the host asks the right questions and lets you speak. I loved hearing how you choose prints. Your wildflower print is gorgeous!!! I had to get the skirt and top in both colors. The rhubarb is stunning. Also got all three tanks to go with them.
I also picked up the maxi in blue and chocolate, both scarves, and the chocolate petal necklace. Wanted another color but they sold out so quickly!
Looking forward to your show with Jayne!
What a fun show with Jayne! My favorite pairing. 😊
Had to pick up the mochaccino dress (I have the black).
Great sneak peeks!
Safe travels!
Off to work to pay for all my purchases. 😆
(Sorry I posted this again, first time went in the wrong place.)
It was a beautiful show this afternoon. I loved the black floral skirt, but sadly when I tuned in my size was already gone. I have a couple questions about the pebble crepe pants in the “stream” color that you mentioned were coming in April. What is the inseam length on that pant? Will there be other pieces in the “stream” color? Pale blue is such a favorite of mine; it looks great with black, grey, khaki, olive, white, etc. And, I love your pebble crepe fabric. Thanks in advance.
Lily, it is my understanding that “stream” will be the print, but solid colors will be light raspberry, bachelor button, saffron and green. I’m like you…wondering what the inseam length will be.
I think it’s a reorder of the A288391 crops. At least I thought that’s what he said.
Dear Lily, the inseam is approx. 24 inches, and yes, there will be a top in the color. It’s the reorder of the top with the back invert pleat, and I believe 3/4 sleeves?
Wonderful show with Jill. So many fabulous designs and exciting jewelry. Saying Jac’s name was so poignant and I’m sure no slip of the tongue. That moment brought tears to my eyes and reminded me how much pain you are in. Jac is always present in every show. I never watch a show without seeing her modeling the garments in my mind’s eye. Katia was so much fun to watch showing off the “Cuba” skirt and blouse and I thought Maria felt especially spiffy in the cold shoulder blouse as too.
Louis, thank you again for all the work you do to bring us these fabulous clothes. I notice that other “designers” just show up for shows and read the tags while presenting their clothing making it obvious how removed they are from the process. It makes me realize just how lucky we Linea ladies are. Looking forward to the shows tomorrow. Can’t wait for my new items to arrive. The only thing I’m not looking forward to is the credit card bill!
Sending you hugs and warm thoughts.
Donna from California
P.S. I’m excited that the Etruscan necklace has been reordered. I have the gold and want the silver. I find myself reaching for that particular necklace frequently as I find it “plays well with others”. It is the perfect addition to so many different necklaces to beef up the look.
Louis-echoing the thoughts of many others- a FANTASTIC show this afternoon
with Jill. You two are a great pair! A pleasure to watch! Thanks for all
your beautiful designs.
Just watched your show that I recorded today. I was so taken with the way each detail of each garment or jewelry item is explained. I enjoy the history behind each. No one else even comes close to your professionalism. Congrats on a great show with Jill. It’s good to keep busy! You are enjoyed and loved by so many.
Absolutely beautiful show with Jill, Louis!!! It was exquisite in every sense of the word. When you spoke your beloved Jac’s name, she was announcing her presence to you and to us, your friends. She was letting all of know that she would make the show one of unsurpassed beauty, grace, charm and joy.
Jac is by your side, Louis, even during the hard times.
Hi Louis –
I am loving all your new spring designs. I can’t get enough of your shows. I am so glad you are on multiple times in the next few days. I don’t watch QVC at all anymore unless you are on. All the other “designers” seem so mundane compared what you offer us. You seem to have gotten your on air groove back. We all know what a hard time you have been through and how much you miss Jac. She would be so proud of your designs and the professional way you are on air. The Linea ladies just love you and are cheering you on.
Bravo Louis! You and the models looked fabulous today! Despite the moment of requited emotion, the mood of the show overall seemed to return to the uplifting, exciting and chic presentations we know from you. Thanks so much for caring about us. I for one am humbled and flattered. Happiness to you. Pamela in the SS
P.S. And oh btw, purchased several pieces as well. Cold shoulder, grey necklace, blue dress,3 tanks. Humbled, flattered and broke…lol
Louis.
Loved your show and especially appreciate a host who lets you talk about your designs and their construction. I do not appreciate a host who talks about herself instead of giving you the time.
Love ya
Dear, dear Louis: so touching to see everyone’s little “loss of composure” , for lack of a better term. You were surrounded by so much love in that moment that it brought tears to my eyes, and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one……how much your girls, and us ladies love you….Jill was fabulous and gave time for everyone to recover. Our hearts ache for you. Your bravery is astounding; we are all pulling for you, that your pain will lessen with time, and the good memories will be the ones that fill your thoughts.
Dodie, you said it so well. I noticed it, too, and thought Jac what a tribute to you. She could have looked beautiful on stage and been a terror behind the scenes. But she was as beautiful (maybe more so) on the inside as she was on the outside. Louis, your ladies are feeling your pain. On a high note–you were fabulous!!! I didn’t think I would like the Cuba skirt and I definitely have not liked the cold shoulder look. But leave it to you. I had to have it. I am built more like Maria, not as beautiful, but she won’t be standing next to me!! You are knocking them dead this time around. Keep it up. Your Linea Ladies are with you all the way!
Louis, Wonderful Show! And Jill was Great!
The 3:00 show was great! Loved every minute of it!
Dear Louis, Your presentations on the two shows so far have been wonderful and more. I’m always impressed with your ability to bring forth the necessary information even if there is mindless chatter going on around you. You are a champ and we love you! I’m looking forward to your 3:00PM show and the others to follow. Ruth
Ruth – your words are so true! And ‘mindless chatter’ did make me laugh!
Thanks Seka. The tone of the prattle always reminds me of some of the comediennes of the 1930’s, such as Billie Burke in Dinner at Eight.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18x-buOwgDg
And yet, Louis perseveres, ever the gentleman. Bravo Louis!
Ruth – your video clip was the perfect example of ‘mindless chatter.’
Louis, I fell asleep waiting for your 1 am show, but I got my order in and watched everything on video this morning. I am looking forward to seeing the short sleeve maxi dress and am hoping that you can tell us what sizes the models are wearing on air, which helps me determine my size better. I ordered the admiral blue in my normal xs, , but I’m questioning the chest measurement as it seems smaller than the moss crepe midi that you did last fall.
Hugs to you and I look forward to your shows these next 2 days!
Hello Louis, I fell asleep last night waiting for your show but half way through I woke up just in time to see my seed bead necklace. My heart started to pound when I saw pink. What other colors are coming because I need to start saving and when are they coming. I bought three of the sleeveless WK tunics that I love so much and the bead necklace and the petal necklace too. The crepe shirts in black and white but I really want the lilac to but the tunic that matches the lilac shirt where can I find that. Please forgive any mistakes with spelling etc because I’m dealing with only one eye . See you later on the other shows. I hope it’s getting easier to be at the Q .
FYI – There are only 18 Silvertone Petal Necklaces left – and only 32 Russian Goldtone.
Silvertone is now Sold Out – Waitlist available.
Russian Goldtone is now Sold Out – Waitlist available.
GOOD MORNING LOUIS !!!
I just ordered the black ruffle skirt and top. Also ordered the wood bead necklace in ivory,(which I have been stalking for awhile).I didn’t want to miss out. Last night I ordered the tropical top and scarf in white. Summer—here I come!!
I have kelly green sandals, red sandals and yellow and metallic sandals ,which will be awesome with the ruffle set.
I will be wearing the white lace top with a white chiffon and taffeta long skirt on Easter sunday when I perform on my harp(which is ebony and gold).
NEW Items Posted! The Maxi Dress – the Wildfloer Cold Shoulder Top & Skirt – Whisper Knit Tank – Petals Necklace Set – Wood Bead Necklace Set.
Check JustJazzmom’s Post on the Linea Forum which Lists the Item Numbers!
Petal necklace only came up when I put the number in. I bought the chocolate!
I purchased the Twilight Multi and found that my yellow Linea Denim from a few years ago looked good with it. Just pointing that out to any of you who has the yellow denim with either of the Tiger Lily Toppers. First time I discovered something on my own! At least we can wear these until his new denim comes out! Love your designs, Louis!
Louis,
Quick question. Do either of the tiger lily scarves go with the new admiral blue maxi dress?
Thanks,
Melissa
I’m not home to check but I would think antything will work with the white scarf
Ok. Thank you!
Good morning dear Louis. I pray that you’ve had a good cup of coffee and are safely on your way to QVC! I have to say that it has been very hard to choose which outfits to buy from your spring collection. They are all so beautiful. It seems like I have been waiting for these March shows longer than usual….so glad we are spoiled with three days of your shows. When you find yourself with some time to kill, come to the site and we shall keep you company. I know you said that staying at the hotel held many memories.
I’m glad to hear of your plans to be with your family for Easter. I am grateful that my family is back home, together, after a few months of treatments for my son. I will make a big dinner and a lemony dessert and be thankful for every minute. Hugs and blessings!
Dear Karen, it is good news to hear your son and family will be home together for Easter. I know that you know only too well that every minute of every day is so precious. Have a wonderful Easter…..Jac loved, along with me, lemony deserts. Jac used to make the most delicious lemon pound cake with lemon peal. At the very end when the cake was just out of the oven Jac would give me a mixture of sugar and freshly squeezed lemon juice to pour over the hot cake. As it cooled it would crystallize on top and the juice would infuse with the cake….How I miss her cooking. She was the best.
Sounds like a lovely dessert! If you should ever want to share the recipe, I would love it. Her spice cookies are unique in that they have orange peel in them. Really makes a difference. I plan on making “Jac’s Cookies” every fall/Christmas. It’s a new tradition. Have a good morning5HYM and I will see you this afternoon!
Tiger Lily Scarf is posted on Q and available to order! A302608.
Hi Louis, I recently bought a pair of pants from MM LaFleur. The style is called Foster. The cool thing about them is that about 4 inches up from the hem on the inside of the pant leg on either side are small buttons. There are tiny slits in the hem. This allows you to change your pant length from regular to cropped and back again. I don’t know if it’s possible but I would love to see this feature on some of your pants. Just something to think about!
Hi Louis,
I’m planning on getting the wildflower blouse/skirt in both colors. It is too special and so me. 😊 I am one that is often between sizes. I usually take an XXS or a 2, but because I have long arms/torso and my shoulders are a little broader I sometimes need to size up. Can you tell me how this top runs?
I wore my yellow pinstripe shirt the other day. Love!! Felt so feminine. Love the yellow with jeans too.
Any idea if the WK tunic with pockets will be reordered? Love my camo and coral. Linen isn’t the best color on me but I want this in more colors!
My birthday is Friday so I’m especially looking forward to your shows this week. Happy Birthday to me! Lol
Hugs,
Melissa
Dear Melissa you should go with your xxs. I don’t know if the WK tunic will be reordered, but if I had to guess I would say no.
Thanks for responding Louis! Will get the XXS.
That’s a shame about the WK tunics. I love them! They are must haves to me, just like the WK swing sweaters. Just may have to get the linen and navy. Great basics to have.
Am supposed to be doing laundry and more, but am having a lazy day with my cocker spaniels. Watching some of your past shows I DVRd. Saw the camo tunic with the cypress necklace. So bummed I missed out on the cypress. I did order the blue to go with the upcoming blue maxi dress. Loved how you paired the aqua Pompeii with the linen tunic.
Hope you are doing well.
Melissa
Just adding – what a fun show with Jayne! Love when you work together. I had to pick up the mochaccino dress. Already have the black. Enjoyed the sneak peeks!!
Just purchased /ordered the Snag tool at Walmart with free pickup, order total was $2.88.
Louis, I do a lot of sewing, and there is actually a specialized hand sewing tool specifically designed to to fix these annoying snags! “Snag Nab-It” by Dritz, the sewing notions company. It looks like a 2 1/2″ long, fine sewing needle that is very slightly “sanded” on one end. You put the needle end through the center of the snag, pull it through the garment, and the sanded end catches the thread and pulls it to the back with no damage at all. I’ve used mine for many years, and it’s fixed every kind of snag from fine threads to heavy knitting yarn. I consider it priceless!
I Just checked, and Amazon has it for $2.69. Type “Dritz 618 Snag Nab-It Tool” in search box. It’s also available in the sewing notions section of many home sewing stores.
I should also add that because the Snag Nab-It is such a fine needle, it can repair snags in woven, as well as knitted, fabrics. I’ve successfully used it on every kind of fabric imaginable, including silk, with no damage.
Thank you so much for this info!! Sadly I didn’t learn to sew from mom when I had the chance, so am rather clueless about such matters, but I need this!! I seem to get snags from when my dogs greet me, from the Velcro on their “donut” collar or their Thundershirts, and who knows how else but I seem prone to snags. I either try to stretch the fabric a little or use a needle with frustration. I’m ordering this today! One for home and one for my desk.
So glad to help, Melissa — hope this makes your life easier, especially with your sweet pups!
Hi, I have a snag repair tool which works great. It is a very fine latch hook that you push through from the back and grab the loose thread. The latch closes as you pull the thread through to the back side. I probably bought it at a fabric store years ago. I just Googled Snag Repair Tool and different ones are available.
Hi Louis,
I hope you are doing well and staying warm! 😀
I have a few questions I am hoping you can help me with…
First, being the ever so graceful person that I am not, I managed to get a pulling in my new dark olive tunic with the pockets. It was quite a long pull but I was able to stretch the fabric and quite a bit of it went back into the garment. However, there is still approximately one inch of thread still hanging out. How can I fix this and not ruin the garment?
Second… I love the white belt you use on the girls when accessorizing their outfits. I have searched and searched and cannot find one like it. My favorite part about the belt is that there is no hardware to match and I can where any color of jewelry and not worry about matching metals. Would you be so kind to tell me where you purchased yours?
Third… do you happen to know when the white boho will be posted?
I’m anxiously awaiting your next show. 😀
Sending lots of hugs to you and warm wishes for warm weather.
Bernadette.
Bernadette, I apologize for interrupting, however I keep a fine crochet hook and when I get a run like that I pull it through the back so that one inch of thread will be on the reverse side.
Thank you Karen! Wish me luck!!! My hands and eyes are not what they once were in my 20s! Lol.
Dear Bernadette…..I’m afraid I do not have a better answer than Karen’s. This has happened to me. My form has a wire mesh head, and over the years some of the wires have detached and stick out slightly. I try to turn them in with a pliers, but still sometimes the sweaters, and fabrics catch if I’m not careful. I do the same thing you so. I have used a straight pin, and try to catch the tread on the head of the straight pin, and gently pull in through. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. You need a lot of patience. The white boho is due in April. Since it is a reorder they can post it at any time. I would start checking the second week of April, which is a week before my shows. As for the white belt they are all Jac’s belt from Anne Klein so it is vintage. Your best bet is on line like ebay where I have gotten belts in the past. Also in the search box type in “Designer Belts” or “white women’s belts’, and see what comes up. It’s always changing. You may have some luck on the on line outlets.
Thank you Louis. I will give it a try with the straight pin, definitely keep an eye out for the boho, and check eBay. I will post back my results just in case anyone else is looking for the belt. It seems odd to me that belts are hard to find in the stores. Maybe it’s just a trend that they are not popular right now. I try not to get rid of any accessory. You just never know when they will come in handy. And now that my closet if full of Linea I will only be rotating clothes for the season rather than starting a pile for goodwill.
Louis, I have to tell you… even though I have only been a Linea Lady for about a year I now realize that my way of dressing was molded from you. I looked back at the vintage Anne Klein ads and remember seeing them in magazines, fabric patterns, etc., and that is how I tried to dress. That was and still is my look. I feel sooo very blessed to have found you and honored to be able to talk to you. The fact that you answer me back is such a privilege and I’m grateful that you think of all of us as friends.
I always keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May God always keep his Angels around you for guidance and protection. And just remember, if you ever feel like they or Jac are not listening… sometimes the teacher is always quiet during a test. When I feel like my loved ones that have past don’t hear me or that God hasn’t given me a sign I often think of that saying and it helps me to keep pushing through and I know i will hear from them soon.
Hugs to you,
Bernadette

Hi Louis
I am a big fan in general of your slim ankle pants. I especially like the new super ponte slim ankle pants A298446 Regular and A298447 Petite.
Will you be bringing back super ponte in both lengths. I usually purchase both lengths. They are so slimming. I just love the no pockets.
Thank you
I am also a fan of the A298446 Super Ponte Slim Ankle Pants and bought them in black and brown. I would buy more black plus dark gray and/or navy if you brought them back.
