I’ve DVR’d the show and will watch it in its entirety later– had family visiting and the show was on mute– BUT I could tell from the little I did see that each presentation was a home run!! Terrific styling as usual.
Just watched the show and it was a feast for the eyes. The colors, the styles, and the unexpected combinations.
Being only 5’4″, I especially appreciate the head-to-toe color that you offer. I wear them and just wait for the compliments to come.
Hi Louis
Am watching you while I type! I am even more in love with my coat (ordered 2 days ago) now that I’ve seen it live in Jill.
Did you ever consider a home line? While watching now, I thought how nice a beautiful houndstooth or paisley or plaid throw would be designed by you.
Hi Ri…..I too loved the coat on Jill…..and quite honestly I think she was taken a little aback at how great she looked in it. Before the show she and I went through the line up and she loved it just on the hanger, but she hadn’t tried it on. It was very brave of her to try it on during the presentation, and as I said, I don’t think she was ready for just how good it looked and FELT on. She truly wanted it, but alas it was wait listed in black sm. You would think one of their perks would be to be able to order the clothes a head of time, but it’s not allowed.
i get a kick out of reading all these comments and answers. The ladies are actually getting a top designer to be their stylist when putting your pieces together. Where else can the everyday lady get that kind of ‘hollywood” type attention. Bravo to you Louis. You are a true gentleman in every sense.
Louis,
I love the faux fur jacket shown in the Insider magazine. It looks shorter on the model which could just be that she is quite tall. Can you tell me what is the jacket’s length? Sorry to bother you so early about this jacket, but the length decides whether I keep funds aside for that one or order a second herringbone solid color jacket. Thanks,
Deborah
Dear Louis: Got your jacket in teal along with the teal turtleneck – can’t believe QVC posted right at midnight (10:00 p.m. MT) – what a beautiful jacket and it’s on easy pay. yay.
Dear Louis,
I apologize for jumping ahead of time, but in November Insider magazine it says that the “persian” faux fur jacket and the sweater tunic will be available in sizes XS-3X. Is this a typo error or the buyer didn’t order size XXS? I just have to have this faux fur jacket. I was born in Ukraine, and my grandma bought her real Persian fur coat there a long time ago.It was called KARAKUL (CARACUL – curly lamb sheep), and it still looks good. I always wanted to have similar, but modern. Your faux fur jacket is a dream come true. Please, please, double check if the size XXS will be available. Thank you so much for everything you do for us.
Hi Inna: I don’t see the word “persian” anyway in this ad – but it looks beautiful and QVC should have said PERSIAN like Louis described it. It is beautiful. Yes, my Grandmother was from Germany and you are SO right, it was a curly lamb sheep, unfortunately, she never took care of it and it deteriorated – LOVE that coat. Maybe you can get an XS since it so fitted.
Dear Inna………….I checked with my manufacturer and YES, they did order xxs, I don’t know why they didn’t list them……BUT they ordered VERY FEW in that size.
Thank you so much for your reply…. it’s greatly appreciated.
Inna.
Dear Louis,
Perhaps you have already answered this, and if so, I apologize. Are the leggings in the photo with the darling striped sequin tunic in the November Insider Linea? Are they due to be sold in November? Do they come in other colors besides black? Are they made of the same 7% spandex blend?
🙂
crdlb
No, I don’t know what they used.
Louis,
Blinddogs beat me to it asking about the sequin dress that is being discussed on the forums! I own the dress she is referring to and both of your sequin skirts which are the bomb so of course I MUST own this dress as well!! I am so sure your version is exactly what I want I have already packed up to return a RL sequin dress that is 3 times the price of yours. (and I didn’t even really love it) When, when, when will it be available? Long sleeve, sleeveless? It’s killing me!!!
As I said to Blinddogs……shot sleeve [which I think looks very chic, V-neck, and a short dress. Thew sequins are scattered all over but not paved in your face., and it’s emb. on nice knit fabric.
Louis, I’m jumping ahead here but on the Q boards it was posted that the Insider magazine is listing a November offering, a v-neck knit dress with sequins, in black. Probably about 6 years ago or so, you offered a black v neck knit dress with beading around the v– Is this a renewed version of that dress or totally different?
I ADORED that dress– but it fell victim to a storage area mouse attack (we live in a rural area, by the water, that has occasional invasions of critters, and our dogs don’t do the job that our late cat did LOL!) If it is at all similar, I will be speed dialing– and locking it in a vermin proof container!–Blinddogs
I vaguely remember that dress. This is a v-neck, short sleeve , short dress with tiny sequins scattered all over, It is not in your face paved with sequins, but it sparkles all over…it’s very pretty and on a nice quality knit.
Thanks so much for your reply. This is quite different from the earlier dress, which had long sleeves, an A-line fit and was about mid-calf. Unfortunately, short sleeves and a short length dress won’t work for me. Dang those mousies!–blinddogs
Dear Louis,
Thank you for your response to my sizing questions. I ordered your tweed jacket in L Walnut and Tarragon in XL. This way I will be sure to have a jacket that fits. They won’t be here before your Friday show – so I’ll just wing it for the new purchases. I did try to view A229473 (petite trousers) and A229475 (jacket)on the QVC website but both came up sold out without any pictures. Does that mean that you will not show these items on Friday or are these to be shown on your November show?
No that means they are holding them until the show and they won’t be released to sell until then. I don’t know why they put “sold out” it just confuses everyone.
Louis
Question about sizing on the houndstooth jacket which is now on line. I usually wear a medium in your line – about a 40 chest measurement. The small in the houndstooth is 40 and medium a 43. I am concerned about a medium – may be too large and then I will have to return. A comment from you would be helpful.
Jackie
Dear Jackie…..I hate to steer you wrong, and I actually don’t know…but this is my educated guess. 1- there is no stretch to this fabric, 2- It is a zip front so it may be more confining over the girls than a reg. blazer which is open over the ladies 3-You will also be wearing something under the jacket. I would stay with the med. if that is what you normally wear. Do you have broad, normal or narrow shoulders….that is also a consideration. If it measures 40 and you are 40….you really need a little wiggle room. 1 1/2 inches on each side isn’t that much. It really depends how you like your clothes to fit. You may want it to fit tighter for a more hour glass effect and leave the zipper open so it’s not confining …then the small would be OK. Also, consider the hip measurement. As I said when it’s a zip front garment you don’t have the luxury of the bottom spreading open to accommodate a larger hip. I hope I have helped and not added to your concern.
Thanks. Your answer will help me decide. I get used to tops and jacket that stretch so when one comes along without stretch I need to consider your suggestions above. I think I will order a medium because I will wear your turtleneck sweater with this jacket.
Louis, you previewed ivory pants on Jac this summer (and now on video for the open work top and tank A224875). Are these the same pants that will be offered during this visit?? Thank you!
No they are vintage Tall Linea pants.
You mentioned right in the video that the “…pants are coming too…” but perhaps you meant some pants, not those pants.
Correct….I try to pull vintage “Tall” pants for Jac, Kate and Chantal, because they are so tall. Angela, Brenda and Maria are more 5′ 8″ and can wear the reg. length. Actually even though Kate is so tall, a lot of her height is in her torso, so she can get away with a reg length. There are times when the same pant will look short on Jac but OK on Kate.
Thanks Louis. I pay particular attention to Jac as I know things fit me much the same way as I am all legs. Here’s to hoping for talls in the future. You know I am not the only one…
Hi Louis
I just bought your new coat in black! I have been waiting patiently and it finally appeared on the QVC website.
Cannot wait!
CONGRATULATIONS! I hope it’s all you expected and more.
Hi Louis,
! wrote several days ago and I was hoping to hear back from you regarding your sizing before your Friday show. I have not placed sn order yet and I want to order but need some guidance. Your large according to QVC is 14-16 and XL is 18-20. Are they cut generously? I think I am between sizes so do not know which size is appropriate. Please help. Thank you so much.
If I may answer, I think the Linea line (for me) is cut to the measurements of the B&M stores’ clothing. Definitely locate the ‘click here’ measurements of the individual garment–looks like they measure on a flat surface and then double that number for the circumference. Known your own individual body measurements and apply them to the garment measurements closest to them. Take into account things like material with a certain amount of stretch and of course the use of full elastic vs. partial elastic around the waist. HTH.
Chris….thank you …..you explained it perfectly….and yes, garments are always measured lying down a flat surface so there is no distortion. If a leg opening measurement is given as 10 inches, that is the half….the total circumference would be 20 inches.
Dear barbara……I think Chris may have answered your question. To say that all of the garments are generous would be misleading. Yes, in general QVC requires a larger somewhat generous measurement. However, each style is different, even if they are always fit on the same model. If you fall closer to the 14 or are a true 16 than I would say the Large which is what the model Maria wears. If you like your clothes roomy and you are closer to an 18 than maybe an XL will suit you better. I think you should look at the existing Linea clothes on the site, a pant, a jacket and a sweater and see which click here measurements are closer to you. Always check the “click here measurements” for the most part they are accurate……….I hope this helps you decide.
Dear Louis,
Will all the items from your sneak peeks be shown on this Friday’s show or will some be held back for the show of 10/30?
Dear Debbie…..have your speed dial ready….all the sneak peeks are on this show! When I was working on the show…assigning the models for each outfit, I thought WOW this is going to be a wild show on so many levels……I think by the end of the two hours the models, including my Jac are going to kill me, with the stocking changes, and layers and accessories changes they will have…and all in 4 to 5 minutes!!!It is going to one heck of a show. I would recommend to DVR the show if you can….so you can go back and really take a good look……it’s going to be FAST & FURIOUS!
HOORAY !!
I no longer have to hold my breath and turn blue in fear of missing out ! I have just ordered the Houndstooth check jackets ! I am sooo anticipating receiving these! They are both so beautiful and will go woth so many of my Linea pieces.
Thankyou for creating these Louis and I’M NOT DONE YET–I still have Fridays show !!
Shari
Thank you, Shari, for mentioning this. Q has them buried at the bottom of Linea page 2. I will miss the show Friday (work really messes with my life). So I was going to order early anyway. Yay!
Wow, the houndstooth pieces and the new coat are up and available for order!
This is a first!!!!Actually a second. I guess they are thinking this will help some of order problems from the last two shows….just thinking out loud.
I have another question: Can I wear the Houndstooth Zip-front Blazer (A229469) in VIOLET/BLACK over the V-neck Dress with Pleats (A228334) in GRAPE. In other words, would the violet and the grape clash? How about the heathered grey dress instead?
Thanks in adavance for your response.
I see that we keep you VERY busy!!!
Dear Crisso,
I looked at the colors next to each other and YES, the grape dress looks good with the violet HTC. The grape is deeper and darker, which is a good thing, because it is better for the “skirt” of the dress, coming below the jacket, to be a little darker than the jacket color. The gray also works, but I prefer the gray dress with the Blk/Ivory HTC.
I can’t wait to receive the entire 3-piece look plus the grape dress. Thank you!!
Hi Louis
I think my last email may have gotten lost. I had put in a small wifh list:
1. Longer jackets 27″ There are lots of Linea ladies who are tallish. Perhaps a variety of both petite lengths and regular lengths?
2. Pants at least 2″ longer. Many of QVC’s own brands and other brands provide pants with inseams of 27-29″ (petite) 31-32″ (regular) and 33-34 (Tall). One poster even suggested unhemmed pants!
3. I love your long sleeve sweaters but not the 3-4 inch cuff at the bottom. In my opinion this dates the garment. I bought your silk/cashmere sweater which has the perfect sleeve. It is so soft, I want a blanket in that fabric!
I know a number of us Linea ladies agree with the above. We are not asking, of course, that this comes at the expense of the more petite Linea ladies.
Dear Crisso,
1-I will have some jackets that are 27″ of course if you are an xxs or an xs they will be a little shorter due to grading.I already have a few jackets that are this length, perhaps they were not your style.
2-It is up to the buyers whether tall lengths are purchased, not me. They seem to only buy tall lengths for in house brands. I have tried and tried. This is a fight you ladies have to take on. I suggest you start a campaign, but I am telling you …..you will need a very large number of women who say they want talls in order for the buyers to order them. If selling talls was a big business for them they would do it with more brands.I suggested unhemmed pants and the answer was no.
3- I do not know which “hem” you are referring to as a “dated” hem. You can only do three types of “starts” or hems for a sweater…….ribbed, tubular [which is what the cashmere blend sweater is], and for certain stitches, like the Every Needle Rib, no hem…….it comes off the machine clean and will not unravel. I do all three depending on the style. Most of the classic sweaters I do are tubular.Personally, I do not find any of these options dated and are used often on all types of sweaters depending on the style. Maybe it is the style you didn’t like more than the hem. Anyway, I always offer many different options because different women like different styles.
I sometimes do not “get” QVC’s ordering behaviour. They should know by now that your line gets more Customer Top Ratings than any other and that there are women of every height an girth wanting your designs.
About the comments I made re:the sweater, I did not mean offense. I was referring to the ribbed cuff on the sleeves and not the sweater hem. As I said I adore the silk/cashmere sweater and look forward to more like it.
Thank you so very much for being such a gentlemen and responding to all our questions!
Good morning Louis,
Have a question about the magentas– does the new magenta tank look good underneath the shabby chic cardigan? Does the magenta T neck look good underneath the shabby chic cardigan?
Thanks,
Chris
Morning….I checked and they are not a good match at all.
This is Really ironic. When the first photos of the Pink topper were shown, I looked at the closeup of the swatch, as you always give this closeup of fabric which gives an abstract impression or visual “feel” of the garment. Even though I have not seen the November photo of the “Fur” coat, your close up of the pink swatch to me looked something like broadtail. The long fibers swirled like broadtail has a tendency to do, similar to curly lamb, but different and much more elegant.
It was amazing to me that a COAT fabric could so closely resemble FUR, understanding, of course, that things tend to get distorted in such a close up view…but that’s the beauty of it isn’t it? Louis, I know that coat is a knockout. The first time I saw it, I thought of Ali McGraw in Love Story.
Hi Louis, do you know the date and time of your show(s) in November? Thanks
Dear Sherry,
I’ do not believe it will be alone hour show. I think it will be appearances on different shows. That said, I don’t have any dates or times yet.
Hello Louis:
We’re all getting Linea Fever as the days tick down to Friday. I adore the the new Topaz color. I do not have my winter wardrobe unpacked yet, since it’s still 80-some degrees here. I was wondering if this new Topaz coordinates with the copper boho from several seasons ago. I know you may not have it anymore, just hoping you might. I know I’ll wear it with black anyway, so I’m definitely getting that blazer. It’s just not a color I have very much of in my wardrobe–yet!
Thanks,
crdlb
Dear Carol…..the copper boho is much more red compared to the Topaz. I am so pleased there is such an interest in this color as it is one of my favorite colors and not one you see too often. I really don’t think you need a lot of pieces in your wardrobe in Topaz, that’s why I only did the T-neck and Blazer. I would have liked a skirt and maybe one more style that wasn’t a t-neck. It’s a great accent color to one’s wardrobe and looks great with dark NAVY, CHARCOAL GREY, Walnut, dark OLIVE and of course BLACK. It also looks great with all of the other jewel colors, like the Teal, Forest green, Aubergine and many more.
Dear Louis: Almost fainted – your Faux Fur Shearing Jacket (November) is the most beautiful jacket I have seen – I LOVE the black, and the sweater tunic with sequins and THAT BOW TIE is out of this world. It truly is the magic of the holidays. I LOVE ALL THESE DESIGNS.
Dear Toni….are they calling it a “faux fur shearing”? What does that mean? It is a faux fur that is made to look like Broadtail….one of the most expensive Persian type furs. The stripe sweater with the sequins and the hounds tooth check skirt is TDF.
They labeled it Faux Fur Jacket, Faux Shearling. It looked like Persian lamb to me (my Grandmother’s coat years ago), but it does not describe it that way. Since it looks like Persian, I am getting it. I LOVE Tatia as your model, what a figure, TDF.
Where are the Fur Jacket and Sequin tunic shown???
Thanks, Cathy from PA, in the car in Oklahoma 🙂
The Nov. “Insider” on Katia….she’s too small for the dress. It just hangs on her.
Dear Louis: I agree – the waist looks awful on her – and she always wears your clothes well.
I don’t usually use Katia. I think she is too thin for my clothes and she moves too much and always pushes the jackets back….not allowing the viewer to see the garment properly. I think she does it because the jackets swim on her. I think she is very beautiful, just too small for me
Dear Louis: Also besides pushing the jackets back, the models wear scarves over the jackets and sweaters and we can’t see your product and they push up the sleeves and you can’t see the entire product. Of course, the producers tell the robotic/man held cameras to shoot 100 feet away and when you are describing your product and colors or tell us to look at the models, QVC shows a laser shot. Jac is a perfect model because the entire product is shown without antics. Unbelievable. You are the only one I watch anymore – can’t take that station.
Thanks, Louis! When we stop for the night, I’ll log onto my insider for a look; sounds lovely … and even though I look NOTHING like her, Jac is my favorite model too 🙂
Cathy, currently in Oklahoma
Hi Louis,
I am new to your line, having just arrived on the planet earth! Where have I been all this time? I have a question regarding your sizing. I am 5’2″ and wear a size 16.In Eileen Fisher clothes I wear PXL. When ordering your blouses, blazers, turtlenecks – should I order L or XL? Your clothes are simply beautiful and classic and your jewelry is very chic. I look forward to adding many pieces to my wardrobe. I have your October show on my calendar and can’t wait. Thank you.
Dear Louis, How will the violet of October blend, complement, (or not) with the magenta of the lace jacket and the fuchsia of the November show? You are the master of colors and come up with combinations that seem unfriendly and yet they seem to smile at each other when you put them together! What a talent……..
Hi Louis, I have a question about the scoopneck shell, item #224278. I see there are two new colors, pale carmel and pale olive. Will the original color natural(?)be reordered? I just received the lace jacket with trim detail in raspberry and would like to purchase the original color. If the color is not reordered would the pale carmel go with this jacket or can you suggest a different color. Thank you, Mac
Dear Mac…..I hope it said “caramel” and not camel…..if so that’s a mistake. YES, the original color is definitely being reordered and it will look perfect with your lace jacket. I don’t understand why they would have the two new colors listed and not the original…….I’m sure they have a reason?
Louis, Thank you for getting back to me. The QVC site said caramel, I need to wear my glasses when I type. That’s good news, I was hoping the original color would be reordered. Thanks again, Mac
I am addicted to your designs. This is not a question, just a statement. I enjoy wearing the paisley boho from last spring Whenever I wear it, I love looking at the design and I receive many, many compliments. It is a work of art. Thanks
I aked this before but didn’t get posted. Will the lace cardigan work uner the gray plaid jacket A227574?
Hi Beano….I thought I had answered this? I think they do work. It is certainly not your run of the mill combination, but with black under the lace and wrapping and belting the cardigan, and with black bottoms I think it is very different and unique.
(Dear Louis, I asked this on a previous post, but I had written so much that, I believe, you missed it.)
“By the way, would the stretch lace top in black/white (A229478) work under the black textured jacket (A219791) for a not too dressy evening out?”
Dear Maria….I put the two pieces together and yes they look good together.
Hi Louis
Just wanted you to know that I was the original poster on the QVC board asking about can the width of the turtleneck be shortened somehow. Shoesnbags came up with the amazing answer to try steaming it. I did exactly that over the end of the ironing board. The higher I went the more stretch I got. This is exactly what I wanted to happend to all of my many Linea turtlenecks I have purchased. They can all be worn now as either a cowl or a low draped turtleneck. I also very hestitantly tried it on your silk cashmere turtleneck and it also worked! So give it a try. It works. I love your clothing line. Your clothes are Lineaqib which stands for: Linea (to recognize you the amazing designer), inspirational (in that they make a lady feel very classy) and beautiful (as they are on trend and the attention to detail is precise). As I am writing this lengthy reply, also appreciate you using Jac as a model as being an older woman (by age only) it shows how well your clothes look on every body type. Keep up the extraordinary designing!
ceodih,
Please explain steaming turtleneck in more detail to make it looser. what do you mean by over the end of ironing board and the higher you went. thanks, diane
I stretched the collar over the short end of the ironing board and then took my hand steamer and ran the steamer around the stretched neck and that relaxed the material so that the neck nows drapes loosely rather then being a tight turtleneck. The neck is made out of a different material than the WK body and that is why it can be relaxed. Hope this helps.
Hi Louis,
I have HUGE plans to order both of the houndstooth jackets. Don’t really care about price, even if I don’t have a money tree !haha I am wondering though about your red turtleneck top that you have paired with the black and white one. Is the neck consuming or do you think I would be better with a mock neck in the red? I LOVE the look of a turtleneck, but, never can quite get there , to be comfortable unless the neck is soft and loose.
I am holding by breathe in anticipation for the jackets,I’m almost turning blue hoping they don’t sell out before I get mine! THEY ARE GORGIOUS !! I can hardly wait.
For next Fall/ Winter I would also love some more of your “to die for” sweaters!
I tend to wear the more~~ shall we call them ~~ lively colors through the dull months of winter~~limes, pinks, roses, pastel greys, lilacs as my hair color is white silver and VERY short.
Waiting with anticipation,
Shari
Dear Shari the A72448 red turtle neck is the one you should definitely try. Read the reviews….the great majority of them are 5 star. Even women who swore they could never wear one, love these. Women with shot necks have said they can fold them twice and still look good and be comfortable. The main thin is they are very comfortable and the necks are very comfortable too…..nothing ventured….nothing gained.
Hello Louis, on this cool crisp day, I am wearing the Ottoman Rib cardigan 9 item # A84333. I love it. Are there any more chunky cardigan/sweaters like this coming in the future. I love mine. I love to wear it jeans and short skirts and boots. If there isn’t one this season, can u please keep it in mind for next fall? Another thing I would love for you to do is scarves to pull all our beautiful outfits together, especially for that pull together weekend look. Now that your jewelry is so popular on qvc ( some of it is already sold out in less than a few weeks) maybe the PTB will let you do that. Please see if that is possible. Thankyou again for all that you do.
I don’t have any chunky sweaters planned for this fall, but I just starting to work in next fall so I will definitely keep that in mind. I have gone down the scarf road with the buyers many times…..so far they are just not interested….I would love to do them.
Louis: Is the rise in your pant, A229472 the same as the rise in the drawstring pant? Thanks.
Dear Toni……..the rise is pretty much the same…..the knit may be slightly shorter…..but just slightly. There is more of a difference in the fell of the fabric than anything else……ones a knit….the other is a woven.
Wow! I can’t believe that the A72448 WK turtleneck in topaz is already sold out in three sizes! Of course, my small is one of them. Bummer. Well, I guess Louis did warn us. My bad. I’ll keep checking for reorders. Maybe I’ll get lucky.
FYI, the new teal and fuschia are also sold out in one size already.
I did get lucky!!! For some inexplicable reason, the topaz turtleneck is back in stock in the small size. I ordered it this morning. So it does pay to keep checking.
Dear Louis: Is the rise on your new pants, A229472, like the rise on your drawstring pants? If yes, I’ll have to order up a size. Thanks.
I posted this on QVC Linea Forum but the linea ladies suggested I post here as well:
http://community.qvc.com/forums/linea/topic/330000/postid/6552253/re-short-wish-list-for-linea-fashion.aspx#6552253
I hope this works. I guess you need to highight the above and cut and paste it onto the window bar
Dear Crisso,
Thank you for re-posting your list here on my web site so I could have the opportunity to read it. I do sometimes look at the QVC Fashion Forum, but not too often. I have found it better to communicate with the women who are interested in my line and have questions for me, right here at my home base. The forum can sometime get a little too dicey for even me. When it comes to up- dating an existing reorder style that is not allowed. A reorder style must say exactly the same and must be the same price even if it’s 10 years old. Can you imagine how confusing it would be to start changing the style or size of an existing item. For the women who bought and wish to buy it again, they expect it to be exactly as the one they had before…..if they felt it was originally to big, they have learned to size down when reordering. If we change it mid stream there would be chaos. To get a turtle as the one you described, a brand new one would have to be developed. I know for sure that the buyers would not want two turtlenecks in the same yarn. I wanted to do a new short sleeve jewel neck sweater in the WK and I had resistance because we already had one in the cotton/rayon…..even though the new one was going to be a different shape and different trims….that is what I am up against. They might be more open to a long sleeve mock neck with an “up dated” treatment….would that be of interest? As for longer styles, you will see many of the new “ESSENTIAL WK” styles coming in Nov. at a longer length. There will also be more of a mix with the jackets……you also have to realize something that may not seem so evident, but there is usually only one jacket per show…..so it is hard to get a good mix. In the fall, we can sometimes have two i.e. a leather and a cloth jacket, a novelty such as the HTC and the solid boucle…..As far as pant lengths….that is a constant BATTLE, and so far I am loosing. With every single pant I ask for TALLS….to no avail. I am afraid it is ALL of you tall ladies who are going to have to fight this battle. For my manufacturer it is no problem to add a longer length. So far my tall ladies have not come out in the NUMBERS that are needed to make the buyers and their managers….change their opinions. A TRUE campaign has to be organized for this to happen in GREAT numbers. I am only one voice and probably the only designer at the Q who asks for these things, because when you ask……I ask, but YOU need big numbers of women to get it done. They do offer talls with some of their in house brands, but I do not believe the track record is that great, or they would do it more often. Please if you have ANY questions for me, do not hesitate to come here and ask.I would be happy to help in any way that I can.
Happy Saturday Louis!
J264035 is the Reorder of your lovely knotted pearls in new colors, ‘cept the Gray – new Navy/new PP. The product description has not been changed to reflect change of color – the Soldouts remain listed! Such a rigid rule – sure QVC has their reasons? At any rate, would like to know if pearls are glass alabaster (many reviewers have commented on great luster) & are the findings gold-plated for that price?
Somewhat sure my Mr. Handsome will gift my upcoming BD with all (3)colors since my hints were less than subtle…LoL! Love the 72″ versatile length, substantial 12 mm & the addition of lobster claw – near perfect.
Looks like the new jewelry collection is a great success – most of my desires are already soldout!
And a GOOD morning to you….You are a very early riser!I guess the days are really getting shorter in Anchorage…what time does it get dark up north? I don’t know why discontinued colors that are sold out are still listed when they are definitely not coming back….I think it’s a matter of house cleaning and they are just not caught up. I know the pearls are a very good quality glass, but I’m not sure about the alabaster part? They do have a beautiful luster and a deep rich color. I was disappointed that the wine and green pearls were not reordered since the returns were very very low….well below the QVC requirement for reordering. At least the deep gray made a comeback and the navy [a very hard to find color] turned out beautiful too. I was very careful that the pink was exactly the shade I wanted. TOO pink and they would have been cheap looking. They just had to be the right shade and blush of pink…….Hints are always welcome by us men…..I only WISH my Jac would give me some HINTS. Every time I say, “Hon would you like that” or even “Hon isn’t that pretty”….the answer is always the same…..”Yes, but I don’t want it…don’t get it for me.” She can be the most difficult person to buy a gift for because she just doesn’t want stuff. I guess it’s a blessing?????…..but, I really enjoy buying her nice things……
Up early to make Apple Butter with the backdoor neighbors today. Yes, it’s time to winterize here in the Great Pacific NorthWest – frost is on the pumpkin, literally! We currently have 11.5 hrs. of daylight that dwindles to 5.5 hrs come Solstice. Our urban Moose are making weekly appearances this time of year – Glad we beatin’ to all those apples as many of the leaves have fallen from the trees.
Thanks for the info, keep you posted on the pearls.
I would love a long sleeved mock neck or just a close fitting round neck and please make a shorter length…… the long length is not flattering to me at all and adds pounds rather than looks slimming……. there must be other women who are not fans of the longer length………
The Linea line has such nice variety that there seems to be something for most preferences, and adding a little more… is more! We all like having a choice.
Just wanted to say that I’m 5’9″, and I love that a lot of the Linea jackets and tops aren’t the longer “boyfriend”/tunic length that I hate and feel frumpy in. I prefer a tailored/fitted look every time. Also, I just received my first two WK turtlenecks and I think they’re fabulous… wouldn’t change a thing, just more colors. The 32” inseam mostly works for me on the pants, but it would be nice to generally see more tall pants offered so that I could wear heels with them.
Will you be bringing the grey metallic crinkle maxi skirt back? It also came in bronze. I think it was available in July. I have been checking ,but haven’t seen it back in stock on QVC. I need an x-tra small. Is there some other place I can purchase it other than QVC? Thank-you.
Dear Margaret…..unfortunately that skirt was not reordered and all the styles you see for QVC are exclusive to them.
Hi Louis!
Thanks so much for bringing us these pants, especially in IVORY! In terms of style/fit, would you say these are closer to the herringbone pants or the “safari” pants (that came in mushroom and navy)? We are still getting used to the numbered sizing and I am hoping to be able to cut down on returns…
I would say closer to the safari pant, because the fabrics are the same.
Thank you! I LOVE those pants and the fabric.
Hi Louis: Will the new lace cardigan in gray be a good match with the plaid blazer A227574?
Dear Beano….at first I thought the silver gray lace would be too cool for the warm gray in the plaid, but after looking at them together I think it can work. If your planning on wearing the black tank and wearing the lace wrapped with the belt as in the photo with the jacket over it and black jet beads….with a black bottom….I think it would look very “cool”.
Hi Louis,
Just thought I would add my two cents to the plus size skirt discussion. I pretty much agree with everything Diamondscribe said. I am 5’6″, busty, long waisted, no waist, slim hips and nice legs. I look best in pencil skirts from just above to just below the knee. The ribbed knit pencil skirt is my absolute favorite but it almost didn’t happen. When I first ordered this skirt I ordered the same size as the cotton pencil skirts I own, size XL. But something was “off” with the way it fit through the hips and I sent it back. I don’t remember now why but I decided to try again and ordered down to a L and fell in love! I guess the reason this skirt works so well is it is stretchy enough in the waist that I can size down to get the correct fit through the hips. I currently have this skirt in black, navy & cassis and will be adding more colors as my budget permits.
I own only one boho, in black, but as Diamondscribe said, it’s not my best look.
And a-line skirts look absolutely horrible on me. The QVC hosts always go on and on about how a-line looks good on everyone but it’s simply not true. I look like a whale in them.
Anyway, I’m so glad to have found your line and glad you offer “different strokes for different folks”.
By the way, I would love to see the cotton pencil skirts offered in solid colors such as black, navy, olive, khaki & white, but would prefer they be an inch or two longer.
Thank you Louis!
Dear Connie….thank s for the TWO CENTS…..your comments were worth much more to me!I understand everything you have said. Clearly there are two camps with very different body types. The ladies with the narrower hips and good legs like the short pencil skirts, The ladies with the fuller hips like the bohos and longer skirts. I totally agree about A-Line skirts….in the wrong hands and on the wrong women they can look very OLD….or like golf skirt. The pencil skirt is much more flattering and much sexier….As for cotton pencil skirts….after last spring there was a loud cry for a denim pencil….so… I heard the cry and there will be a wonderful plain pencil skirt in the WASHED INDIGO as last year, the White as last year and a new surprise FUN COLOR…..I am sure you will like them. By the way….measurement of a woven skirt are almost always going to be larger than a knit. because there is so much more stretch to a knit, so it doesn’t surprise me than you needed to size down for the knit pencil skirt.
Louis:
1. Does the new multi-facet bead necklace in what QVC calls the “Black” option go with the new Velvet top in Tarragon?
2. What colors of the WK turtleneck go with the new Velvet skirt in Tarragon? Can’t tell what the background colors are.
Many Thanks!
Dear Nancy…..to answer your questions:
1-The color that “matches” best is the necklace QVC named “BRONZE”, though the major metallic bead color is more of a pale coppery/chocolate bead with Amber and Olive or SAGE large beads and bronze beads on either side of the large color beads. The choice they call BLACK????? has absolutely no black in it. It is a combination of GUNMETAL, Amber, Wine and the same Bronze beads. I think they both look good worn together with either jacket, but if you want to get only one then, for the tarragon, you should get the bronze.
2- Olive and Topaz and even Black are your best choices. Other colors [not in the turtleneck] that work are of course the Tarragon, the Pale Olive s/s crew, anything in Walnut [many more coming] and even the Persimmon WW cardigan can work.
This is SOOOO helpful Louis! It’s so hard to tell what the background colors are in the gorgeous velvet print since it doesn’t photograph very well. I am hoping and wishing that they would give you presentation time just for that gorgeous necklace in “bronze” and in “black”???? 😉 so that you could point out what colors go with what.
As to tops with the velvet skirt, I’m thrilled since I have most of those tops already. I was thinking that the background colors in the tarragon print leaned toward aubergine but apparently they lean more toward brownish rust. Thank you for the clarification!
You’re very welcome….There really isn’t any aubergine in the Tarragon print…..there is in the walnut and that is why the “black’ necklace works with it…..but as I said…..I REALLY love the two worn together….it is gorgeous worn that way…….
You know Louis: It looks to me like the button-front cardigan in CASSIS would be awfully YUMMY with the “black” option of this velvet print skirt. It looks like I’m going to have to go with all 3 skirts AND both of the necklaces – “black” and “bronze”. They too look just too delicious together to pass up. Thanks for your help in figuring it all out!
Dear Louis: Just received the beautiful fleu-de-lis cross in wine – I LOVE the brushed goldtone and the deep wine. ALSO, the bead necklace in bronze – I WAS SHOCKED. It look so small on the QVC picture, but it is substantial. I LOVE IT. I am wearing it now and I’m in my nighgown. I can’t believe the beautiful necklace is so inexpensive – QVC missed the boat on this one. I LOVE IT and now I HAVE to order the gunmetal gumdrop earings or whatever they are called. I LOVE the gunmetal look with the amber/orange huge beads – you really are a CREATOR.
Hi Louis, the new bead necklaces are wonderful! I even bought the earrings and I don’t have pierced ears. I’ll need to search for findings that will work. The newest necklace is spectacular and it looks like it will have matching clip-ons.
Questions: The flecked tank that looks like linen, A224278, is available on wait list in Pale Olive and Pale Caramel. Will these new colors also have the flecks in the yarn? Will the Pale Caramel be a new color for the herringbone blazer and trousers? Those pieces are among my favorites. I bought the jackets in two sizes so I can either go skinny with a tank, or layer more heavily with the larger size. That fabric is a dream. Thank you for a spectacular Fall Collection!
The new tanks will still have the black flecks. No, there will not be a herringbone in caramel
Louis,
Are the new ivory gabordine pants straight leg, wide leg, or tapered? Because of my “saddlebags”, I really don’t look good in tapered pants, so I may have to wait for another one of the ivory pants you will be introducing in the months to follow.
Thanks for your beautiful clothing that is so reasonably priced particularly considering the great lengths you go to in order to offer only the best in quality detailing.
Cathy
With a 10 inch bottom opening they are not tapered….these would be for you. If you have any pant lay them flat and measure from side seam to side seam [or half the pant] and you will get an idea.
Today I received two of your new crosses [black and wine] and they are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much! I quickly ordered the olive. 🙂
I am so happy you like them….you won’t be disappointed in the olive! Please don’t forget to leave your review on the jewelry QVC Linea site.
I wrote a review this morning and also mentioned these gorgeous crosses in the Fashion Forum. Thank you again!
Colors, colors….. Louis, which colors of your turtleneck do you think go well with the tarragon velvet print skirt – obviously olive but what else? It’s really hard to get a fix on what the other colors are in that beautiful velvet print. And if I jump for BOTH the velvet skirt and the velvet top … which of your beautiful necklaces do you think goes best with that tarragon velvet print?
Louis,
Today I received the new bead necklaces–one in each color. They are long enough that I can double them up–fabulous statement! I also love wearing both of them long, or one doubled and the other long. Having both really makes them versatile. Didn’t get the matching earrings, but have your demi hoop in gunmetal–is that the color you would suggest? I am going to order the demi hoops in gold and silver because they are a beautiful basic. If I do get the earrings that match the necklaces, will one color work particularly well with both necklaces? Thank you!
Barbara
I think the wine earring works best wearing both. Also a hint….when you wear them together long……make one as short as possible on the extender and the other as long as possible on the extender….they will “nest” better that way…..also make sure you don’t have the two big beads for both necklaces on the same side when you wear them. I ‘m thrilled you like them and got one of each. They really look fabulous worn together. I prefer either the gold or gunmetal demi hoop with the necklaces….they both work. Of course worn alone with the wine bead necklace I like the gunmetal and with the olive bead necklace I like the gold demi hoop.
Louis, I am answering your question about skirts. I own at least 10 Linea skirts in various styles. I agree with Diamondscribe’s comment about proportion and she has given me a lot of good advice over the years in respect to Linea styles that would work for me.
I am currently an XL, 5’5″, apple-shaped, short-waisted, with a Jane Mansfield top.
Knee length and more A line are my most flattering shape. A215166 in black with tights and short boots is one of my favorite looks. I roll up waist once to make it shorter on me
I like your wool blend pencil skirts with the v-neck whisper knit and a long WK cardigan to camouflage my middle and give me a long, lean look. I have that skirt in 4 colors, and I want it in aubergine and steel gray.
I also looked great in the mushroom, sunburst skirt. LOL, my Mom actually gasped and lifted up my tneck to see what kind of waist gave me such a long, slim look.
When I was a large, I looked lovely in the purple crushed velvet skirt with the Vneck satin blouse in purple. The way the blouse hangs disguises my short-waistedness.
However, when I am an XL, as I am at the moment, the bohos (I have 3) and the black velvet skirt in XL don’t work on me. They have too much material and for some reason, emphasize both my short-waistedness and top heaviness. They are better when I am thinner, but I have to be very, very, choosy with what I wear on top, and they are not my husband’s favorite look (and he is very supportive.) Thank you for asking!!! I love your clothes!
With today being one of the rare calendar progressions left in our lifetime (10/11/12), I have progressed too. (What a stretch, huh?) I’m now thinking to buy one total draped outfit — that would be the surplice top, skirt and jacket. Somehow, I think I will regret not availing myself of this beautiful — in all respects — opportunity. Leaning toward the teal, even if I do have my own teal top already. I’m certain the shade is different from yours.
I received the “black” (wine, to me) necklace and earring set. Louis, they are absolutely gorgeous! Can’t say enough!
(Calendar-wise, we have 11/12/13 and 12/13/14 left to experience — we hope. Being alive at the beginning of a century has its perks.)
The teal and the purple are both beautiful and you won’t go wrong either way. I don’t think I would want to be around at the end of this century…..if there is anything left.”Live for today” are words that were never truer.
I’m with you, Louis, on that! As so many — plus you — say: Man makes plans and God laughs. Be kind, get some joy and smile!
AMEN
Dear Louis:
I just received my shabby chic sweaters, and they are every bit as good as you said they would be. I am also thrilled to see that there are going to be online Essentials in wk. Can you tell us if any of these new Essentials will be a long sleeve v-neck sweater? You know how disappointed we were that only existing colors were reordered. I won’t ask you to spill the beans about the colors yet, unless you really want to tell us……
Sincerely,
crdlb
Dear Carol,
since we already have a long sleeve V-neck sweater, there was no reason to do another. I am sure?? that it will be reordered and I will try to get as many new colors as I can……..The colors for the new essentials are: BLACK, IVORY, NAVY, WALNUT, FUCHSIA, TEAL, and VIOLET……there will be a variety of styles….all new, except for the classic cardigan which is the same as last years, the only change is the style number. However, not every style will be in every color, so there will be 4 colors, for the most part, per style.
So now I have to buy 24 WK’s to get all the variations? Bring it on!!!
BTW< I received my velvet pieces and LOVE them…thanks for the early sell, it's spreads out the pain.
You are very welcome…..I know you and thre ladies are going to love the new WK styles……I am sure there will be some who ask….”why didn’t you do such and such a style?”. Just let me know what you would like and I will try to get it done. I think the early selling is a great thing too. If it proves to be successful, I am sure that the PTB will want to open this up to more styles……….we’ll see.
As long as there are tanks, I am happy! My office is cold, hot, cold: so tanks, short sleeves and jackets work for me..
Have a wonderful weekend..
You will be happy!
Fingers X’d for the encore of WK V-neck in Aubergine (or any other style of WK)! Looks fabulous with my Mookaite gemstones.
Are you saying you want MORE Aubergine?
Yes – please!
Would also love it in the classic cardi(A219797) with a matching knit pencil skirt (A09484) to add to the mix!
Love it with Persimmon – how does it look with the ‘new’ Topaz?
Yes, if the persimmon and topaz look good together, I’d like to see them together on one of the models. Love the persimmon and tarragon!
The Topaz and Aubergine look wonderful together….very Renaissance colors.
All this COLOR! is SO exciting! – Puts a real bounce in my 3-4″ heels. Thank you, Louis!
My….oops – Our Dear Designer, Louis, off I go from Seattle to Boston tomorrow with my wool check mushroom jacket, walnut WK pants and mushroom feather blouse, tarragon sweater, ivory tie blouse and ivory turtleneck – oh and the love knot necklace – to visit my youngest daughter and her fiance. We’ll be planning that spring wedding in France. My idea was to hold off on any more purchases until your spring pieces come out, but these Oct. Sneak Peeks are making that terribly difficult 🙂 Love & Thanks to you & Jac!
Oh dear – and I proof these. I meant plaid mushroom jacket, of course.
Dear Louis: Just received the TOPAZ T-NECK – outstanding, it is beautiful. I thought it might be close in color to the caramel, NOT. It is gorgeous and I will get the matching jacket. What a saturated color.
Glad you like it….the jacket is a dead on match……it’s a beauty!
I love your style and have several pieces from your line. One of my favorites is the Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Stretch Cotton Leopard Print Jacket. I have worn this jacket for at least 3 seasons and it looks brand new. When I wear it, I never fail to receive compliments and women always want to know who it is by and where it was purchased. It is not only a great looking jacket but perfect for our climate in Texas. Unfortunately, I must have left it on an airplane on a trip to Chicago. I’m sick at the loss. The brown multi is sold out on QVC.com. I could go with blue as it is also great, but I would want that as a second color. 😉
Please tell me if there is any other site that sells this fabulous jacket. I even looked on eBay but no luck there, either.
Thank you in advance for your response.
glenda
Dear Glenda…..I have two cotton stretch Leopard print jackets…..I am assuming you mean the brushed cotton trench style that comes with the self fabric tie belt. QVC is no longer reordering that jacket and there is no other place you might get it other than E-bay as everything that is on QVC is exclusive to QVC. I will be selling this jacket again on my next show, Oct. 19th as and the sizes and colors sell out that will be the end of this jacket, so I would advise you if you want another color to get it before the show, or your size and color may not be avail. Sorry to hear about your loss, I left Jac’s I-Pad on the plane….went immediately back and it was gone. We were in first class so I’m sure one of the stewards took it home as a nice little gift.
Hello Louis,
Today I am wearing the walnut whisper knit pants and tunic and i layered it with A221816, the open front cardigan in espresso, inspired by your doodling. I love it together. i would like more cardigans in this style, especailly in the whisper knit to coordinate with the pants and tunics from the last show.
Do you think the whisper knit would drape as well also, if not, another fabric/kint in this style(similar or same) would be nice to layer with all the whisperknit pants and tunics that we bought on the last show. Thankyou for all you do.
Dear Nikki, the WK would work beautifully…..it may be a tad expensive, but I will try one for next fall.
i would love it, and it would be worth the expense, thankyou. Would love it in matching colors or coordinating colors. I love the way you mix colors. Thanks
P.S……I don’t know if you heard but in Nov. I will have ,ON LINE ONLY,a whole new Essential group of Whisper Knits in 6 colors, walnut being one of them…..so you will have at least 3 to 4 more choices of walnut sweaters to wear with your pants.
thanks for the info. I look forward to it, in the mean time I have the Oct 19 show to look forward to.
Hi Louis,I just received the velvet trim cardigan,WOWIE ZOWIE it is beautiful,I love the vintage inspiration.I am sure I will need to order one for Mom too.I have a simple question, will there be any pants in the Oct collection?
Thanks again for such fabulous fashion.
Dear Liz, yes there will be one pant in a gaberdine…..in Black and Ivory. The pants are zip front, partial elastic waist bands, no pockets due to the ivory and they are unlined which makes the ll year round pants. They will also be in numerical sizes. Lately the “ladies” have been talking about “pant liners”. Honestly I had never heard of them, but Jac told me they have been around for some time…..what do I know? Anyway, that might be a good thing for the ivory pant. They look fine without, but for those in colder climates…..they might come in handy.
Hi Louis…. I’m in all Linea today (as I am most of the time). Going to see an account in your black textured blazer, short sleeve shell and long skirt.
Would you consider making a basic jewel neck sweater with long sleeves (similar to the short sleeve A3825 – need white and cream in this as well!)? Would love this in the basics, black, white and cream…. with a fuchsia too!
Also… am looking forward to your boucle jacket in the next show (already ordered 2 fuchsia turtlenecks and a topaz), but it’s only 25″ long, so I’ll have to see how it looks on beautiful Jac …. will you consider making blazers a little longer in the future? I know this has been brought up before, but I much prefer the 27″ length, as I know many other women do as well. I think that length is more flattering on me.
I’m also thrilled that you have a longer skirt in the show. I’ll be getting that in the violet… and probably the other colors (i own about 6 long Linea skirts already, and every other color you’ve made – I can’t get enough of these).
HAVE A GREAT SHOW!
Dear NYC1,
I can certainly add a sweater like that to my WK line up……when is another question. As for 25 inches…..that is not considered short sweater when you consider most jackets today are 25 to 26 inches. I will definitely be doing some longer jackets.
Agree, I was asking for longer jackets. I’m very happy with the sweater lengths. Thanks for your reply!
Hi Louis,
I love your line. 99 % of my wardrobe is yours.
Will the new HT jacket match your previous HT skirt?
Can you post the prices of the new sneak peaks? I would love to be able to figure out how much of the the line I can order. I want everything in multiple colors!
Thanks for ALL you do for us.
Vicki
Dear Vicki,
I no longer have the samples of the original HTC so it’s impossible for me to say if the coordinate or not….I’m not even sure if they are the same size check or not.I am sorry, but I don’t have the retail prices. I know that’s hard to believe, but the first time I see how much QVC is charging for an item is at the show….the same time you do.
Hi Louis I have purchased a number of your jewelry pieces and love them. wonder if you may think about adding some of those belts I see in your pictures to your line?
Dear Pat….there is nothing that would give me more pleasure than to be able to offer my customers all types of accessories, scarves, berets, bags, hose that match the clothes and belts. However, at this point in time QVC has no interest to go beyond the jewelry. I have found some great belts on E-bay that I have shown with the clothes.
I find good belts on Ebay, too! We must be bidding against each other some of those wonderful Ralph Lauren belts over there–and some AK, too. Ebay is my friend for accessories. I love that you were able to bring us the scarf in the HTC. Looking forward to your October show and to all the lovely additions to my wardrobe this fall.
crdlb
If the HTC does well, I would like to request a vest in both those colors — black/violet and black/ivory similar in style to the raspberry/navy striped vest you had a few years ago. I think that would be a great change off piece to wear under a solid colored blouse over the HTC skirt.
Hello Louis, I was wondering if this is the end of the sneak peeks so we ladies can make out are want list.
Not quite yet!
Uh oh……! Louis, I just bought a new BMW Saturday I must chose very carefully. I did however, but 2 of the baroque crosses- one to keep and one for a holiday gift. Choosing one piece may be difficult.:)
Thank you Louis. While you are sketching “my” sweater for next fall, would you kindly consider drawing another tweed jacket? This one in shades of blues and white or cream that is without a collar or lapels, similar to the pearl & ribbon trim jacket style. Your recent jacket styles in tweed, chenille and the upcoming herringbone texture are wonderful, but I cannot wear such a structured fabric and man-tailored style for my curvy shape.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Louis
I keep looking on Q’s website for your new coat – when I type in the item #, I get a message that the item is sold out.
Is that possible? I have been checking every day since you posted the sneak peak.
Hope I didn’t miss it.
Ri
Dear Ri….QVC won’t post them until the day of the show…..at the earliest at 12:01am……until then they show them as “sold out”…..what they should post is “not yet available”, to avoid confusion. Don’t worry they haven’t been sold yet.
That’s what I was hoping! Thanks 🙂 I am obsessed with this coat.
Hello Louis- May I make a request for next fall? (Giving you just enough time, I hope.) To go with all my black tops, skirts and pants, I would love to have a Whisper Knit flyaway cardigan with just a tie at the front. I would really, really love if you could bring it to us in a rich, jewel-tone Ruby or Crimson. I don’t think I have anything Linea in that color. Thank you.
Always looking for new WK styles……will make a sketch.
A “V” button-up Vest in WK would be a great layering piece? Just wishin’ !
I did one and it looked great but they didn’t buy it……I’ll try again.
I own your knit pencil skirt in almost All colors (missed out on beloved Spruce Green of long ago due to limited stock!) and I’m hoping for a re-order? of the Mushroom WK turtlneck – if so, will purchase the matching skirt! I LOVE ALL your knits – BEST quality in such Classic designs….easy wear/easy care! Love to wear tonal & let my accessories ‘Shine’. BTW – scored on the Cassis WW Cardi to match the pencil skirt – very special color indeed!!!! Very excited for the WK Essentials coming soon……….Hope the buyers realize ‘a vest’ would be a great addition!
Dear Pamela…..I do have some good news….the MUSHROOM WK turtleneck has already been reordered and will be avail sometime in Dec. It takes quite some time to order the yarn, dye it, knit the pieces, put hem all together package , ship process and ship to the customers. Quite frankly I’m surprised they will be here so soon…..it usually takes 5 to 6 months.I hope you are on wait list, because those customers will be shipped first. Forget the spruce green…..if it hasn’t been reordered by now….consider it a retired color, unless I can resurrect it somehow in a new style.I think with the vest it was the price…..it was almost the same as a cardigan, but I will try again.
That’s shockingly GOOD news! – Thought I’d be waiting a full year @ best! I will be placing my order including the skirt as soon as it’s made available on the website. Your insight is ‘priceless’ & very much appreciated. As for the precious Spruce Green, I feel blessed to own the wool boucle satin trimmed jacket & godet skirt/suit (Black too!) – Always turn some heads with that one! Guaranteed to have a great day when I’m dressed in Linea (head to toe)!
Oooooo, maybe a fit and flared style! Love these sweaters.
