    Hi Louis,

Do you know if the cargo pants are coming back for spring? Hope you are enjoying the holidays,

    Celia

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Celia,
No they have not been reordered. Have a wonderful Holiday…….Louis

Louis, Barbara said you want to know if there are problems with our Q purchases -ANY problems with fit, construction, mis-labeling, and the like! I received the black textured suit jacket (A219791) correctly invoiced, in a bag labeled black, but inside was a green jacket. I immediately ordered another black jacket rather than wait the 3 weeks for an exchange to process and, boy, I am glad I did since it is now on waitlist in my size. Thought you might like to know about the mistake in packaging. I am calling today to let them know and hope the service rep notes the error so that it does not count as a return against the possibility of a reorder later. Great suit! Thank you!
    Deborah

    1. Kate

I ordered the xs v-neck tunic and received an xs mock neck sweater instead. The bag was labeled tunic but inside was quite a different sweater. Of course there is nothing you can do about any of this but when you get dinged for returns its good to know that it wasn’t the clothes!

    2. Chris/Jazzmom

      Hi Louis,
I am replying that I also had a similar problem (ordered with some of the new items you presented) with the chain print blazer in Navy color– ordered a Small, bag labelled as a Small but inside the bag was a Medium sized blazer. I immediately ordered another Small and that arrived before QVC has even received the mismarked package. This is probably a warehouse issue and not a factory issue.

      Enjoy the weekend,
      Chris

Louis, I was lucky enough to get the fly front slim leg pants in black and olive and I LOVE them. They are flattering, comfortable, and stylish. I am hoping the QVC will reorder them in navy, grey, espresso, and reorder the original colors (I’d like to have some back up pairs). That is how much I consider these pants essential. Any chance you’ll be bringing more out in spring or next summer?
    Keeping my fingers crossed.
    Julia/Qulia

    1. Barbara in Virginia

This is the favorite cut for MANY of us, Louis, hands down!!!! Add me to the list of wanting this pant in more colors!

    2. enjay

Louis, I agree – although I do wish the rise on these pants was cut lower, I adore the slim legs. Hoping the Q brings these back! (And could you maybe consider a lower rise, please? Although I realize you’re designing for lots of different body types, the high rise seems to be a common concern that keeps coming up on the Q boards.)

      1. louisdellolio

        Dear Enjay,
I have spoken to my manufacturer about a lower rise measurement already. I will keep on top of it………..regards, Louis

        1. Sherry

Count me in…on the lower rise. The fit would be so much better for me.
          thanks Louis

          1. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

Count me in on the lower rise as well…

            1. Anonymous

Oh yes! The long rise is what keeps me from ordering more of your pants! Would love a shorter rise!

            2. CJ

I need the lower rise too!

  4. Sharon Santourian-Holman

I just posted on our Forum requesting Q reorder the bow sweater in Navy, Deep Violet and Expresso for next Fall. These colors would go with everything we have. I did not think this sweater would look as great as it does on me, it is my favorite!! I hope this can happen, we will see how many Lovely Linea Ladies post up. Just love it!

    Oh the Pythons are AMAZING!!!

    Thank you.

  5. Cathy

    Hi Louis,

    Reporting in from December shows:

Thought I hated Turtlenecks … Wrong! found my perfect generous fit on the second try; a 2X as 3X was much too big. Now I own and LOVE Black, Aubergine (my favorite) and Purple. Your Scarf Tip worked again; found a lovely cashmere scarf in soft grays, purples, terra cotta and dusty teal that looks so great with the Purple turtleneck and the Purple Crinkle Velvet Skirt! Grumpy (aka Walter) says I may buy anything in Aubergine :)))

Python Tops in Green and Navy: Grumpy REALLY likes these … go figure??? In 3X the fit is good; I wouldn’t like any tighter, but I might nip in the gathers just a tiny bit to snug the bust area a bit so the drape is closer fit. Very pretty, and much more comfortable fabric than I imagined.

Pucker Knit Suits in Green and Black: The skirts in 3X are so so so PERFECT, it’s like you made them just for me, figure skimming and a bit generous but not baggy … unfortunately the jackets are at least a whole size too big. I am much smaller top half than bottom half, but they were too big all over. Am on waitlist for both in 2X, with my fingers crossed … as the suits are just gorgeous, and so versatile.

Purple Asymmetrical Suede Jacket: Oh, Oh, Oh! Generous fit, room to cinch in (and create 🙂 waistline, turn back the cuffs a bit, and I’m ready to go anywhere. And the color … and the buttery soft suede; it couldn’t be any nicer (well, unless it was Spruce Green … LOL). Grumpy said “You can NOT send that back” … YES!

The BIGGEST Surprise? The Bow Neck Sweater! I took a chance when the first great reviews started coming in, and ordered in Black and Chartreuse, in 2X … the fit is still generous, but just right as I can either pull down or blouson, the colors are rich and saturated, the buttons are lovely, and I think I need Ivory!

Thanks to you and Jac, and Happy Holidays!

    Hi Louis,

As many of the posters have said, your shows were magnificent. My purchases are starting to arrive and they are awesome. My closet except for workout clothes is about 90% Linea. Thank you for bringing such wonderful clothes to us!

In an earlier post you had said that a single breasted jacket in a window pane print made in cotton sateen with 3/4 sleeves was coming this spring. I love window pane prints! Would you please let me know in what colors this jacket will be available? Thank you!

Have a merry Christmas and a healthy and properous new year!

    Carol

    1. louisdellolio

      Hi Carol,
The jacket, which is a little swing jacket with a shirt collar and a trench back, will come in navy/white, turquoise/whit and white/black…..regards, Louis

      1. Carol in FL

Sounds great! And in all my favorite color combinations! Can’t wait to see it. Thanks for the quick response.

        Carol

        1. Cathy

          Carol and Louis,

Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here … That “Little Swing Jacket” sounds darling, and what delicious color combinations! I’d need all three I think …

Louis, is it too early to ask how early in the spring this might be presented, so we can plan our economic recovery strategies after December shows LOL ???

          Regards,

          Cathy in PA

  7. Kate

LDO–I posted this on the Q but did you notice this morning three of your items are now shown online on a real, live human being? Great news!

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Kate,
I noticed because you pointed it out.I hope this is something they continue with, but I haven’t heard they are going to live model shots……LDO

      1. Kate

It’s what they do for Joan Rivers, Isaac Mizrahi, Dennis Basso so I can’t imagine why the same would not happen with Linea going forward. Your brand is clearly a customer favorite and deserves the same E-ticket treatment!

  8. Barbara in Virginia

HI, Louis! It looks like my query was lost in my rave for the plisse suit, but the skirt is some kind of PERFECT on me! The fit, the cut, and importantly the length!!!! Is there any chance you will be doing this skirt in other fabrics in collections to come? Do please say “YES!” :-). AS always, Barbara

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Barbara,
I have sketched that style again for next year ion different fabrics. I think what really works for that skirt is a combination of the narrow bias waist band and the fabric itself. If they select any pencil skirts next fal…..I will do that one…..regards, Louis

      1. Barbara in Virginia

Music to my ears, Louis! My knit skirts arrived to day. Perfection :-)!!!

  9. Connie

    Merry Christmas Louis!
Any idea yet if the whisper knit v-neck sweaters will be re-ordered? I don’t do turtlenecks (can’t stand anything up around my neck) and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the v-neck sweaters but only was able to get the black and aubergine (so far; still stalking the mallard and olive). Ladies are asking on the Q forums if this one is coming back. Please say YES!!! Would love to see it in red and spruce green too!
    Thanks, Connie

    1. louisdellolio

Dear Connie, I would love to say YES, but as you know that decision isn’t up to me. That is totally up to the buyers and planners at QVC. All I can say is post a request on the QVC Fashion Forum…..”Who wants to see the Linea V-neck come back next Fall?” and see what kind of a response you get. The QVC people will see it………….Regards Louis

      1. Connie

        Done! Thank you!

  10. Tylerpoo

Happy Holidays to you ,Jac and the cute little fur babies!! I have received about 10 items and 2 are on waitlist. The watercolor blouse is a little too big so I will reorder a smaller size. Is there any chance that you will do the pucker suit in another color like grey, navy, ivory?

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Tylerpoo,
I have strong doubts that it will be reordered, but one never knows…..regards, Louis

      1. Kate

I was about to lobby for the suit in navy. Hoping with stellar reviews coming it is reordered.

        1. Barbara in Virginia

Another request here and ditto on the navy!

  11. Shari

My reply was to be—just wanted you to know
sorry for the typo !!ha ha

  12. Shari

    Good Morning Louis !
Just wanted you ~~ I ordered 3 of the bow sweaters~~ Black, pink and the ivory and I LOVE them all !! Fit like a dream and feel oooh so good !
I also ordered (have not received yet)the black charmuese blouse and the pink vest front sweater.
Wishing you, Jac, and your “girls” a very Merry and Blessed Christmas season and a Happy New year to come !!
Thankyou for all my lovely Christmas sweaters !! To me from me !
    Shari

    1. louisdellolio

Dear Shari…..that’s music to my ears. I’m always happy to hear good news…..PLEASE don’t forget to post your comments on my QVC Linea site……
      ……………..best regards, Louis

      1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

LOL oh we ARE posting away Louis.:)

  13. Chris/Jazzmom

All I can say is ‘wow! DH loves everything I have ordered so far. The pucker suit in green, the gunmetal trimmed black faux suede jacket with the faux suede riding skirt in black, the raspberry watercolor blouse with the merlot pants. Loved the fit on these pants and ordered the slate blue and waitlisted the sand color. Everything works together– I tried the raspberry watercolor blouse with the merlot pants and put the green pucker jacket over it– fantastic. Then I switched the jacket for the gunmetal trim black jacket– another great look!! Going to play with the slate blue pants and see what I have that works with it when they arrive in my size. Thanks again for your dedication to your craft!
    Regards,
    Chris

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Chris,
I am so happy everything is working out and especially that your DH is happy too. I don’t know if I mentioned it, [was it you who asked if there were any prints that worked with the blue pant?],but the blue Python print looks great with the blue pant and I would think the black faux suede jacket would look great over that too………….regards, Louis

  14. Sharon Santourian-Holman

WOW!!! That was some show for Fall!! I have ordered 10 pieces , and I did order all colors in python as I said I would. That pucker knit jacket, AMAZING! The buttons!!! The fit!! I didn’t get the skirt and they are all on wait list, however I have many things to blend this piece in nicely. My jaw just dropped as I opened the package and even more when I put it on. 🙂 Stunning!!! Beautifully made and comfortable too.

I also just received the bow sweater. Now…I am a V neck woman and I was on the fence about this one. However I am very pleased!!! It will look great under a jacket and also with jeans.

The sand tunic , is lose as it should be when I view the videos and I love it too.

Waiting for the rest….:) I do look very nice in our Linea clothing and I am a professional working gal. LOL, best dressed in the office and get lots of compliments-that really makes my day.

Question: the Chartreuse green bow sweater. I have olive skin, dark hair and a bit afraid this color will not look good on me. Some greens like olive, I incorporate magenta pieces and can wear it well. But this color I’m hesitating. Do you think it works on meditereanian coloring?? LOL, that color could make me or break me.

Have a blessed Holiday and congratulations on a very successful showing. Hugs to you both and many thanks for making me look good!

    1. louisdellolio

Dear Sharon…….tough question……without seeing you, I can’t be sure. All I can say is it is a deep saturated color and not extremely yellow, but on the yellow side for sure. Sometimes it is a simple matter of adjusting your blush or lip color….a deep berry stain on the lip always looks great in the winter. I think the color is so beautiful and unusual….I would say…try it….you may be really surprised!…..Louis

      1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Yes, it is a tough question. But it IS a great sweater. Thank you Louis and have a Blessed Holiday.

  15. Barbara in Virginia

Hi, Louis! Kudos to you and Jac both for fabulous and credit card busting shows! But who’s paying attention to that :-). My Spruce suit arrived today and it is PERFECTION!!!! I am loving each and every look I can create with the two pieces. I’ll probably wear it first to our Christmas Eve service with the gold ball necklace. Finally I have a skirt that is perfect for me! Is there any chance that you will be making this pencil skirt and in this length in other fabrics? Please, please, please say YES! As always, Barbara

    PS LOVE Marie’s Christmas poem!

    1. Kate

I want to add my most sincere thanks for this amazing suit. I am attending a holiday party on Friday and needed something super-sharp and elegant-as usual you came through LDO! Oh, great buttons by the way.

  16. jmarie

    Santa’s on his merry way,
Lots of sweaters in his sleigh 🙂
    Pink and black and aubergine,
Purple, fawn, and one spruce green!

Pearls and chains and sleek berets,
    Goodness gracious–Easy Pays!
    Many riches, who could choose?
All of this– and puppies, too!

Watched the shows and ooh-ed and aah-ed,
Squealed and smiled and stared in awe:
    Cozy sweater, sexy skirt,
With legs like Jac’s– I could flirt!

    Orders placed and now to wait;
UPS, how long you take 🙁
To Louis, Jac, and all three pups:
May Christmas wishes fill you up!

    Akemashite O-meditou Gozaimasu!

    1. margaret

      Louis,
I LOVED your shows this week, and I bought one of each, no kidding! I can not wait to get everything in! I love the longer pencil skirts and the sweaters to match, how elegant! Thanks for giving us the tip about the python on line, I got the black and green. Now I have to get that credit card under control before you bring more things! Thanks so much, you whole collection is gorgeous!

    2. louisdellolio

      Dear jmarie,
Thank you so much for the poem! A Merry Christmas to you TOO!

    3. Sharon Santourian-Holman

      LOL!! I LOVED this!!!!

    4. Celia

Merry Christmas, Marie! This poem made me smile.

  17. Jana J

Louis, my husband’s Christmas shopping is done thanks to you! I got to pick out what I really liked and he didn’t even have to debate what to get this year.
(Or go to the mall!) You are truly blessed with a remarkable talent in design, a beautiful wife, and those Scotties are just too cute. Merry Christmas to you all.

  18. Chris/Jazzmom

    Good morning Louis,
Loved the AM Program!! Jackie wore the black velvet jacket and she had on the multi cross station necklace but there was also another gold chain with what looked like rosettes at intervals. Is this another necklace that the buyer didn’t want or is this necklace from your own collection?
Everyone looked fantastic on the AM program!
    Regards,
    Chris

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Chris,
That is a vintage A. Klein necklace and the stations are gold knots……

      1. Susana (Suzzeee)

I am beyond in love with that necklace with the multi gold crosses – they showed a closeup and I must…have…this! Q…are you listening??

  19. Steph

Wishing you a very Blessed Holiday Season

I have a quick question. This morning on QVC one of the models was wearing your long knit steel grey skirt. I absolutely love it and have been looking for a long skirt in this color for a long time. Please e-mail as to where I can buy it. Thank you so much and Best Regards,

  20. Rosemary

Hello Louis, I was not expecting the wonderful items you had on the show this AM! In addition to the skirts, blouses, & sweaters (for tonight’s show) in all colors, I ordered the faux suede jacket in aubergine & the riding skirt in blacK, grey, & taupe! And four of the five colors of the turtlenecks are “out for delivery” today. The possibilities for mixing & matching the colors will be wonderful!!
I think I did enough for awhile, but will still watch PM Style tonight.
Thank you for the quality, style, & wonderful colors!
Again, Happiest Holidays to you, Jac & the “Girls”.
    Rosemary

  21. Rosemary

Thank you, Louis. I’m all set!! You just walked on with Jane & Carolyn. I’m going to watch, but the three pieces in all colors have been ordered!! Am very pleased! Will watch tonight also.
    Thank you again for answering!
    Rosemary

  22. Rosemary

Hi Louis, I really enjoyed your Friday show! Bought the turtlenecks in five colors! Should be here tomorrow (only ten mins. from Studio & usually get orders early) & can’t wait! You might not be able to answer this, but will cardigans, blouses & in particular, the new skirt, A219798 in pink & black, be on the 6:00 AM show or held for PM? Need to adjust sleep schedule so I don’t miss out! I have that beautiful jacket, with pearls & ribbon trim, in both pink & black. Purchased for my sister, stepmother & myself for Xmas. We live in different states so not much chance we’d be wearing the same outfit @ the same function! Have been anxiously waiting for the skirts, especially in the pink. Now after seeing the blouse & cardigan, I think I will be ordering more than planned!
Thank you for bringing this beautiful line to the Q!
Best Holiday Wishes to you & your lovely wife & those cute pups!
    Rosemary

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rosemary…..the 3 items are on PM Style and I am at the beginning of the show…..unless it has changed…..regards, Louis

  23. rod hudson

Where can I buy your mens suits in the Chgo area?

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Rod,
My suits are exclusively sold at through the SYMS chain.

  24. Sharon Santourian-Holman

I was able to watch part of this afternoon’s show on my lunch break, on my Android phone. Huge difference seeing all our sneak perks on live women.:) I bought more than I should have, however I did make wise choices. Congratulations on another lovely collection and looking forward to Monday for my Pythons. Love your Scotties, cute CUTE card!! Thank you.

  25. Cathy

P.S. My entertainment for the afternoon was listening to the show hostess BEGGING for Linea SOLD OUT jewelry :)))))))))

  26. Cathy

    Dear Louis and Jac,

My congratulations on such a WONDERFUL show! Seeing the garments “in person” and styled on real women was such a treat. That and the fabulous Sneak Peeks made an incredible difference; I ordered more than I was planning to, including but not limited to the Pucker Suit in my “wished for” green … on to Monday LOL! I do second the request for some natural fibers or blends, no matter what the pricing, but have been amazed at the carefully chosen quality in your synthetics; I didn’t think that possible.

Loved seeing your little Scotty Dogs; they really do become family members, don’t they? We own an adorable little girl Reffi (short for Refugee) we rescued in VA last year, all starved, homeless and mostly bald, and she’s turned into a cuddly, fluffy 45 lb. ball of cuteness and fun. I say “little” because our previous beloved Shadow was 85 lbs. of rescue dog we had for 13 years.

All the hard work you put in really pays off for us; a sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to you both.

    Warmest Regards and Happy Holidays,

    Cathy in PA

  27. kate

Congratulations on a TOTAL sell out of the new jewelry. Everything is now on wait list. Hoping this is a good omen and next spring we will see more! I will be dropping a note to the jewelry buyer at the Q and hope all will do the same.

  28. Mrs. V. Jones

    Louis:

I just love your boho skirts. I would like to know if you would please add your Navy and Expresso colors from (A199257) to your boho collection on QVC (A70208). They are beautifully saturated colors and are very hard to find. The matching blouses (A199856) and (A214117) would both be beautiful with these skirts, as well. I have several of your boho skirts as well as many other items in your collection. I love the quality of your pieces.

I would greatly appreciate your response. Thank you.

  29. Beano

Nancy Silverman posted a video I did some months ago on the LLama Herd site. I am wearing your Linea jacket and pants.

  30. Deb a/k/a jazz

Hi Louis, Since sometimes you tell us if an item is very limited, (ie the latest jewelry), I was wondering if you could categorize the inventory for the December collection. Is it limited, moderate or woo-hoo, as in plenty to go around?

  31. Tylerpoo

Thanks Louis for all that you bring to us!! several questions about the “greens”. Will the watercolor green and python green match the boule spruce set and/ or the new pucker green?

    1. louisdellolio

The python green works with the pucker suit and all spruce greens. The water color print is more avocado and is a completely different green. It works more with olives and chartreuse greens.

      1. Cathy

Oh, and I love greens; I was afraid of this; now I want both blouses …

A question if I might, Louis … Which blouse style do you think would work best for me at 3X, petite? I love both styles in the Sneak Peeks? Thanks!

        Cathy in PA

        1. Cathy

          Louis,

My question might have been confusing; the two blouses I’m asking about are the Watercolor Blouse with the stitching detail at the neckline (gorgeous) and the Python Blouse. Of course, the answer could be neither and I should try a different one for a pear shape … but I do like those colors … and would really welcome your advice.

Second question: Do you recommend a protective spray or treatment for the Asymmetrical Zip Suede Jacket, such as a “scotchguard” type product to help protect against stains, watermarks, etc.?

I’m so excited about this week’s shows; you must be SO BUSY getting the styling ready. I’ll be online at midnight both nights, as well as up at 6:00am as I’ll be home this time. Last month I was watching on my tiny iPhone screen in the RV while my husband and grandson slept … they couldn’t understand why I couldn’t stay awake the next day … LOL Wish Q would let us have a live audience and a party for you and Jac to show our appreciation.

          THANKS!

          Cathy in PA

          1. louisdellolio

            Dear Cathy,
I do not have any experience with Scotchguard or any product like that. It sounds like a good idea. This is the perfect question you should ask on the “Fashion Forum”. I am sure there are many women who could give you first hand advise………..regards, Louis

        2. louisdellolio

          Dear Cathy,
Of course without seeing you it really is a “shot in the dark” giving you advise on which blouse would look best on you. but I would say the python, only because it has a lot of stretch and the neckline, wrap over is easy to work with and adjust to you……..but that’s a guess! Louis

          1. Cathy

            Dear Louis,

Thanks so much for the advice! Q still can’t find my green suede; I surrendered and ordered the purple one too last night. I’m just trying to avoid returns; so far I’ve never had to return a Linea item! “See” you on the 9th!

            Cathy in PA

        3. louisdellolio

Dear Cathy I think you were wise to order the Purple. Every piece my manufacturer had was shipped a while ago, so if you haven’t received it by now, you won’t get get………regards, Louis

          1. Cathy

            Louis,

Not sure my husband will agree with the “wise” part … he’s a man of few words and fewer clothes LOL … but the idea of that Purple suede with my Purple velvet skirt … I just couldn’t resist. Now I wait and pray it fits, by all the measurements, it should be perfect. I still hope those green ones will appear somewhere, as I can’t find anyone who actually got those plus sizes shipped, and they haven’t cancelled the Waitlist either; maybe they’ll resurface this week with all the attention on Linea 🙂 Happy styling, and “see” you and Jac on the 9th.

            Cathy in PA

      2. Yvette

Louis, would I be correct in thinking that the watercolor avocado blouse will go with the new faux suede jacket in sage? I’m “making my list and checking it twice!” Can’t wait to see you on Friday!

  32. kate

    Is it Thursday yet?

    1. louisdellolio

Why Thursday? The show is Friday, 12/9 at 1pm…….am I missing something?

      1. kate

Because if we’re lucky they’ll post the items early!!!

        1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

          LOL…maybe at midnight.

          1. kate

….9pm (Thursday) on the West coast!!!!!

            1. Sherry

              Oh, you’re so lucky…

  33. Carmille

Thanks for your reply Louis. I just love that watercolor blouse so am thinking that with the merlot pants and the grey jacket as you suggested, with the burgundy pearls (which I ordered) would be a perfect outfit. I love the merlot color so am hoping eventually you could bring a jacket in that color. I am so looking forward to my jewelry arriving. The reviews have been stellar! Thank you!

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Carmille,
That outfit will look great!………….regards, Louis

  34. Suzanne

    Louis:

I purchased two body suits through QVC from your line for my niece. She is mentally handicapped and needs to wear these under her clothes. I checked and found out that they are no longer available and was wondering if you were going to make more of these. One was in lime green and the other was aqua.

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Suzanne,
Unfortunately, they are discontinued styles and there are no body suits planned.
….Please wish your niece a Very Merry Christmas…………..regards, Louis

  35. Carmille

Hello Louis. First of all, Sneak Peak 8 about finished me off! It is magnificent and my jaw dropped when I saw it! I have to have all pieces in multiples!! I have a question, I have the cassis cardigan and riding skirt. I want to know if the Raspberry watercolor blouse would go with the cardi and skirt. Also, would you consider doing a jacket in the cassis or merlot color? Louis, you are such a blessing to have on QVC. Simply the BEST! Thank you!

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Carmille,
The raspberry water color blouse does not work, color wise, with the cassis color. The cassis is more of a blue magenta and the raspberry is more red. You can see from the “python” sneak peek and the water color blouse sneak peek what the difference is. The raspberry python [which should have been called cassis] matches the cassis riding skirt perfectly…..regards, Louis

    Good Morning Louis,

Received the grey pearls and both Byzantine pieces yesterday. Absolutely beautiful! Just wrote to QVC asking them to consider your long gold tone multi cross necklace–that would complete the look. Also requested earrings. I recognize you have limited influence but let’s hope they will reconsider their choices. Am anxiously awaiting your December shows. Kind of feel like a race horse at the gate waiting for the start of the race. Hope your holidays are wonderful.
    Lois

  37. LauraL

    Hi

Another set of fit questions to minimize returns:

    1) Python blouse – I have a small in all of your sweaters with the exception of the short sleeve animal print cardigan which is XS. In your button front shirts I have both small and medium depending on the style (charmeuse was a small but the kate and chain print were medium). I am petite in height (5′) but have a curvy body frame (broad shoulders, not too large in bust, small waist, and good size hips) So for the python blouse should I get the small or the XS. I like clothes to skim the body but not tight. I really like this blouse and want it to fit correctly.

    2) for the satin back faux de Chine should I go with small or medium

    3) for the abstract watercolor should I go with small or medium.

    Thank you

    1. louisdellolio

      Morning Laura,
I really hesitate giving specific fit advise when I haven’t seen you, but I will do my best from your descriptions without measurements…..I know giving out measurements is like tell one’s age….LOL.Since you say you have gotten a small in all sweaters I would say a small in the python print….it has lots of stretch. Because you have broad shoulders a medium may be better in the watercolor print. If you got a small in the charmeuse blouse….I would say a small again. Let me know if this was what you were thinking?…..Louis

      1. LauraL

        Hi

Yes this is what I was looking for. I am ok with giving out measurements.

        Bust 37
        Waist 29
        Hips 42
Shoulder end to center back 8″ (Basically shoulder width matched hip width) – this is tough to measure.

So if your recommendations change based on this let me know

          1. LauraL

Thank you. Appreciate the help with the sizing. Now just counting down to december 9 an 12.

            Laura

  38. Goldengirl

    Louis,
I need your expert advice. My 48″ Multi Gemstone Necklace arrived today. It is beautiful. My problem is one of the dark stones fell out. Since it is now on waitlist would I be able to glue it in and if so what glue would you suggest. Other than that do you feel if I have to return it that the Q will fill the waitlist orders? I am in a quandary as to which action to take. I do so love the necklace and it is a Christmas gift from my daughter. I appreciate any suggestions you can give me and I can’t wait until your Dec visit.

    Nina

    1. kate

Butting in here to say that a jeweler will reinstall the stone using Duco cement or E-6000 glue for a few dollars…I have lots of vintage jewelry and very often the stones come loose. It is possible to repair the piece yourself but its difficult to get the amount of glue just right and set the stone straight without the right tools. Personally I would do this knowing this if there continues to be a problem the piece can be returned (until the end of January).

    2. louisdellolio

I will ask the manufacturer what thy suggest and get back to you when I hear. Sorry for the trouble!…………………Louis

  39. Chris/Jazzmom

    Hi Louis,
Greetings from San Francisco!! One quick question– does the fawn longer length skirt match in color to the fawn riding jacket? Would you put it underneath this jacket or is it slightly different in color? Thanks again for all the sneak peeks and the clothing of course!
    Regards,
    Chris

  40. Sharon Santourian-Holman

You are recommending sizing down in the python wrap top. I want to order several colors and really want to get it right. I am a 16, size L and while I am slightly curvy I do carry my weight in my middle. Should I still get the Medium as recommended or stay with my Large? I am not big busted if that makes a difference in choosing the correct size. I just do not want this clingy in the middle. We are all excited about the December shows and I am loving the final sneak peak! That blouse looks like it will be very soft, just what I LOVE! Love the Byzantine set!!! So lucky to have it. Thanks Louis, love your style on me.

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Sharon,
I think you could go down to a medium, but because you carry your weight in the middle you should stay with your size. It’s one of those kind of tops that can swing and depending on how you like things to fit is so personal. I felt because there is drape to this garment and the hip, in my opinion is generous , women who prefer a closer fit should definitely size down…..All that said, I think you will be fine in the large…..regards, Louis

      1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Good, then I can order Large and order several.:) Thanks so much for your reply Louis and we are all excited about the new pieces.

    2. louisdellolio

      Dear Chris,
The skirt isn’t an exact exact match due to the different fabrications and textures, but it is so close you can definitely wear them together….Louis

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Thank you!! Have a wonderful day! … Chris

  41. Celia

    Also, as of right now-

Multi-gemstone necklace: WAITLIST availablity only, eleven reviews, all five stars.
Gold Cabachon Cross: twelve reviews, all five stars.
Pearls: Eight reviews, all five stars, and as you said already, the gray are on waitlist

This is such good news, but it doesn’t surprise me at all! I hope Q gets the message- Jewelry by Louis must continue!!

  42. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. I’m in Dubai right now on business (since 11/11) and I’ve just converted the EST time of your shows to GST time (Gulf Standard time is 9 hours earlier) in my calendar so that I do not miss a show while I’m here—which means I’ll watching some at 4 AM here in Dubai! I just ordered the Byzantine Necklace, the station necklace and 2 strands of the colored pearls.

I’m loving the new wrap top and plan to get it in three colors—black, cassis and green. The new green pucker suit has my name all over it and will be perfect for work (now I need to go back and get the green pearls, too.

Tell me, is A09484, the ribbed knit pencil skirt, coming back in Spruce? I’d love to have that with the Spruce suede jacket. Also, I can’t believe I missed the Aubergine in my size. I adore this skirt and have it in Black, Steel Grey, cassis, Dark Mallard and I know I have a shade of Brown, too. Do you think this skirt wold work in a Winter white or Ivory? Is the knit heavy enough not to be see-thru in that color?

I’ll be back in the US right before Christmas and I am looking forward to all my Linea packages waiting for me—you are my Santa Claus, Louis! Love to you and Jac.

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Sheesh,
Dubai, now that sounds exotic! I don’t know what size you normally take in Linea tops but, I am recommending sizing down one size in the wrap python print top….especially if you are in between sizes. That top will be on the “morning show” on Monday, 12/12 which I believe starts at 6am. I doubt that I will be on first, but they are, as of now planning 5 things on that show, some repeat like the zip front suede jacket. The spruce green suede jacket with the side buckles will also be on that show. I doubt they will bring back the spruce green skirt if they haven’t already….if they decide to reor54der that style I will suggest bringing it back. I have considered doing the skirt in an ivory or winter white color but I am afraid it will be see through. Since the yarn is dyed to the orders placed I can’t even have a sample made to see it first! On the 12/12 Pm Style show I will be introducing the same skirt in the new length of 26 inches. The colors will be fawn, which works with all fawn pieces, perfectly pink, again which works will all perfectly pink pieces and black. Watch out for my last sneak peek which has all of the PM Style pieces.
It’s a good think you placed you pearl order….I see the gray are already on wait list and they have only been avail for a week……..have a wonderful trip and don’t work too hard!…….regards, Louis

      1. kate

wow, wait list already? betting the rest go during the upcoming shows. with Linea its shop early and often!

  43. Susana

Hi Louis. I just opened up the box with my new Linea jewelry and I’m thrilled with everything! As much as I love the cross (and I do), I think the station necklace is my favorite! I love the matte texture and the rope detail is stunning. Now you have to get QVC to order the necklace with the multiple crosses! I so want that one too! Thanks for the great design and attention to detail!

    1. Barbara in Virginia

Add me to the request for the long necklace with the multiple crosses!

      1. louisdellolio

        Dear Barbara,
I would love to offer the multi cross necklace, but I have had no indication that the jewelry line is going to continue after these pieces……there is nothing in the works or being planned…………regards, Louis

        1. Barbara in Virginia

Well, there is nothing in the pipeline “Yet”! 🙂

  44. louisdellolio

Dear Vicki, that’s a tough one! Do you want something dressy, for work etc etc. Are you a jeans gal? Now that you have seen all the sneak peaks, except one that is coming soon, what are you leaning to?………Louis

  45. Vicki Sheehan

    Hi Louis !!

I am counting the days until your next show ,,your sneak peek preview is fabulous.. my question is this .. I can purchase 3-4 items if you could pick those for me what would you suggest? I am about 5″8 and blonde like Jac.. I wear usually a size 14 and am a perfect pear shape.. I know I want a pair of your fabulous pants..but I love everything you design!!! I have your grey chenille jacket, black pants and a purple top..( just recently discovered you and am doing my best to catch up! )

    Thanks so much !!

    Vicki 🙂

    1. Vicki Sheehan

Louisn can you clairfy dates for your shows again There is a typo on your blog!:)

      Thanks Vicki

  46. Sandi

Dear Louis, There are two threads on the Q forum discussing the whisper knit pants from several years ago. (be still my heart) Would you be kind enough to present and request these to the buyers again on our behalf? We have whisper-knit fever and want the pants back, more V-necks, etc etc. Those pants……(sigh) I don’t have them and don’t remember seeing them presented, but what I wouldn’t do for a pair now!! I’m sooo thankful for my 3 V-necks and 2 jewel necks and wear them often…only thing that’s missing….well I can’t pout or I won’t get that beautiful Linea cross in my stocking! Thanks Louis. Sincerely, Sandi

  47. Lynn

    Dear Louis,
I just received one of each of your new pieces of jewelry: the multi color necklace, the cross pendant and the gray, green and burgundy pearls. The quality is superb. The value is absolutely unbelievable! I just wrote glowing reviews on QVC.com [hopefully they will appear soon]. I just wanted to say thank you! It amazes me that you can provide such quality at such reasonable prices. Thanks again!
    Lynn

  48. Debbie M

    Dear Louis,

If you are in the mood to take requests, I would love the waist whittling sweater in more colors and also a short sleeve version. I received my jewelry yesterday and I love them. (I ordered one of everything). I wish I could have the matching earrings. Sigh…

    1. louisdellolio

      Morning Debbie,
More colors in the sweater I can’t promise. That is up to QVC. Have you posted your comments about the sweater and the jewelry on the Linea site….they are read and it is important. 60 comments means a lot more to them than 5. Short sleeve, whisper knit with waist whittling sweater…..sketch already done!I think I have sketched every possible way to do a sweater with that waist treatment, but all suggestions are welcome…..you never know I may have missed something….LOL…….regards, Louis

      1. Debbie M

        On it!

      2. kate

I too will post my reviews of the jewelry right now. Took a red eye home to LA and found the package waiting for me! The pearls are killing me (especially the gray)and, like everyone else, the cross is just beyond my expectations. I am ordering more for gifts (I’m already giving your black silk/cashmere t-neck to several girlfriends and what goes better than the gold cross?!!).

        1. louisdellolio

Your a good friend! I’m so glad you liked your new arrivals!

      3. Barbara in Virginia

I would also love a cardigan in the Whisper Knit fabrication along the lines of the acrylic/wool cardigan for this season. I find myself pulling this cardigan out to wear time and again. I wear it both solo and over other things. And it is also perfect to wear under jackets even when it is over something else, which is not always the case for cardis. I of course have my eye on the new vest-front cardigan! But a Whisper Knit short or elbow length sleeve cardi would be great for the warm weather months. As always, Barbara

  49. LauraL

    Hi Louis,

Hope you and Jac had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I was wondering if there is a sneak peak coming for the satin back faux de Chine Fly front classic shirt.

    Can’t wait for your shows.

    Thanks,

    Laura

    1. louisdellolio

      Hi LauraL,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too. Jac has put me on a slow down as far as eating is concerned…..getting prepared for all the Christmas goodies.
There will be one last “Sneak Peek”. I will have the blouse the cardigan and the pencil skirt shown in the photos. I was waiting for Dec., which is this week,to post it. These three pieces will be on 12/12, PM Style……regards, Louis

  50. Chris/Jazzmom

    Hi Louis,
This is probably a moot question — does the python print blouse in navy match with your other navies– skirts, pants? I know it will go with perfectly pink clothing (boho skirt, new longer knit skirt). Someone asked about the pearl decorated jacket in black going with the new pants in black– will these pants be made of the same material as the pearl decorated black jacket? As always, thanks in advance for your prompt responses.

    1. louisdellolio

      Hi Chris,
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
The navy Python print has a lot of blues in it and will definitely go with my navy from the past5 and to0 come.I;m not sure I would like the navy Python with the Pink boho, I almost think the black one would be better and of course the navy one with the elastic yoke. The new pant will definitely go with the pearl decorated jacket, but honestly any nice black pant you own should work well. The pant is not made from the textured fabric…..it really isn’t a fabric suitable for pants…..skirts yes….pants…..not so much……….regards, Louis

  51. Carol

    Dear Louis:

Would you pair the new purple and/or black faux suede skirt with the assymetric zip suede jacket in purple? Are the suedes compatible in texture and color? Maybe with the black turtleneck (I have both the whisper knit and the cashmere blend). Also, does the faux suede in espresso coordinate with the cashmere blend sweater in dark brown?

    Thanks,
    crdlb

    1. louisdellolio

      Hi Carol,
The espresso silk/cashmere t-neck looks great with the faux suede skirt. I would not mix the real suede with faux suede…..but that’s just me.In general, I think the faux suede looks richer when you don’t put it next to the real thing. That said, I don’t mind the espresso faux wrap suede skirt with the Spruce Green suede jacket because the espresso is so deep and the skirt is straight……regards, Louis

  52. nikki

    Dear Louis,
I hope you and Jac had a blessed holiday and are enjoying your weekend. I just wanted to drop a line about how much I enjoyed dressing up for the holiday in my velvet tunic and purple turtleneck and packing all my clothes for a short trip to nyc, which included my aubergine suede jacket, mock neck, blue kate shirt and aubergine tank. I feel like a million bucks every time I put my Linea outfits together. Thankyou for all your beautiful designs. It is so much fun and I truely feel that I have a wonderful wardrobe thanks to you. Enjoy your weekend and look forward to seeing you on dec 9.

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear nikki,
It all sounds great and I’m sure you look terrific wear your new outfits!….regards, Louis

  53. Tylerpoo

Louis, will matching pants come with the re-order of the pink, black and pearl jacket A213215? will look forward to the lavender jacket and pant set.

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Tylerpoo.
The pink was not reordered, but there will be pants to match the black, which was reordered and the two new colors, the lilac and sand. There will also be matching whisper knit tanks in all three………regards, Louis

  54. Carol

    Dear Louis:
Will the sand pants to match the sand jacket with pearl buttons coordinate with the bronze quilted jacket?

    Thanks
    crdlb

    1. louisdellolio

      Hi Carol,
I tried them together and I really don’t like them together. The sand crepe is much lighter and a little grayer than the bronze which is actually a deep camel. Black or even the Fawn works better………regards, Louis

  55. Pam

Thanks for letting us know that the jewelery was available. Can’t wait to get mine in the mail.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  56. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Louis, we were all so thrilled to read the jewelry was up and ready to buy!! Thrilled to get the Byzantine set!! It will look amazing. Thanks for the post

  57. Birdie

    Good morning Louis,

Would the Byzantine necklace paired with the bordeaux pearls look chic or do you think they’d clash?

    Thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Jac!

    Birdie

    1. louisdellolio

Very chic! I did the wine and green pearls to mix with the Byzantine pieces. It looks very rich together……Happy Thanksgiving!

      1. Celia

Oh Gosh, Louis! That just sounds fabulous!

  58. Sherry

Louis, what to wear to a Christmas party? My husband’s Christmas party is not formal; people wear anything from gowns to jeans. I was wanting to wear the crinkle metallic skirt in gunmetal with the black turtleneck; that will be great. My question is about a jacket…I have the quilted jacket in all black; but I also want to get the anorak jacket in black. Your thoughts on the two.
    thanks
    Sherry in KS

p.s. the skirts on the way, so haven’t had a chance to put it all together yet.

    1. louisdellolio

Personally over the black turtleneck and gunmetal skirt I prefer the black quilted jacket. Did you get the black suede jacket with the rib knit trim? that looks great too. If not the quilted jacket will look great! Maybe a fabulous scarf……RED?

      1. Sherry

Ooh! I like the idea of the red scarf…have given alot of thought to the suede jacket…o la la…thanks for your quick reply…have a good turkey day.
        thanks
        Sherry in KS

  59. louisdellolio

    Dear Sandra,
I have seen the pink jacket is avail in certain sizes. I know it’s avail in the navy with the white piping and the white with the red. The only jacket for next spring coming in pink is the cheetah print, both for the jacket and the V-neck jersey top. I will have the jacket with the beautiful pearl buttons coming in Lilac with matching pants and a matching whisper knit tank………Happy Thanksgiving! Louis

  60. Sandra Y

    Hi Louis!

First wanted to wish you and Jac a very blessed Thanksgiving.

You had a very lovely light pink with navy trim jacket on in the Spring of this year, but I missed out on getting it. I’m just wondering if you will be coming out with more blazers/jackets in 2012 in the light pink. I would really love to get one.

Just received your red jacket with black trim and also have a beautiful yellow w/white trim and love the colors and the way your clothes fit. And most of all, SO GLAD you are still with QVC. That’s the biggest plus of all!

    Sandra Y.

  61. Beano

Dear Louis: confusion – A210358 which looks like a great jacket in your sneak peek 7, comes up as the asymmetrical jacket on the Linea site.

    1. louisdellolio

Dear Beano, it is the asymmetrical suede jacket….it’s just unzipped and open………………………regards, Louis

  62. Sherry in KS

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Jac and of course the girls.
    Sherry

  63. Bernadine

Never mind. I see that the color is sage and the T-neck is brown. So many colors and items that I get confused!!

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Bernadine,
      I totally understand after almost 12 years…..so many colors…..so many names……….I get confused too!….Happy Thanksgiving….Louis

  64. Bernadine

Sorry to bother you again but is that the olive T-neck you have shown with the avocado faux suede jacket?

  65. Bernadine

I love the new faux suede jackets coming in December however I’m petite and most to the jackets I’ve bought from your line have sleeves that you can turn back but looking at the pictures, it doesn’t look like these can be turned back due to the piping. Am I right??

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Bernadine,
They can’t be turned back without covering the piping….however they can be turned under 2 inches and have the piping be the edge.

      1. Cathy

        Louis,

That’s such an appreciated touch for we short armed people!

        Cathy in PA

      2. Bernadine

Thanks!! That sounds doable!! 2 inches should do it.
